is it bent for ANYONE to collect on a debt if its not on your credit report?
Question:
i have a supposed attorney/debt collecter, collecting on a debt explicitly not on my credit report. it that legal to do or not? and save how do i go roughly getting the money back i hold payed. if anyone knows it is member of the GIOVE LAW OFFICES,NY
Answer:
You should ask these questions first previously sending in the money. These are approaching fisihing emails, they intimidate people beside collections bad credit, etc and later you send them money for a debt that you didnt owe.
I would suggest that if it can be shown that you are officially responsible for a debt, it matters not, if it is on your credit report or not.
a debt is a debt is a debt and so long as the company can prove you owe the debt it can be collected on, whether it reports to the bureaus or not it sounds resembling the account you owed on be sold to a collection agency that uses the guise of law office to threaten legal endeavour to collect the debt *** if they cannot prove that you owe it, then you can get an attorney but usually, that is when your newspaper trail appears -- they don't provide proof because it costs, in decoration to that they purchased the debt so they aren't spending any more money on you unless you pay your attorney to trademark them do so -- one thing to do is ask them how you acquire the debt they should give you the pet name of the original company who owned the reason, if you do not recognize it, research it on the internet and see it have a more recognizable describe.. ex - HSBC is the credit institution for the Best Buy Card... if you know that the debt isn't yours then spend the money on the attorney within could be a healthy reward involved, but if after you research it and you owe it... your money go where it belongs - the trial owner of your debt
What do i look for when applying for my first credit card?
Question:
i'm in college and looking to establish credit and use my card for everyday buying if needed, and what are in the order of the best providers to go through?
Answer:
Look at that little table on the disclosure they convey you, and check to make sure in that is no annual fee, and that they provide a grace length before charging interest on your purchases. Cards that dispense you a low interest rate are good, and ones that distribute you a percentage of cash rear on purchases are even better.
I have have the same CapitalOne card for years, and they own been great. They really stay higher than potential fraud and even call me to confirm purchases that seem to be fishy to them. They have kept my interest rate at 5.9% for years (which is really low) -ever since I call them to request that rate; can you believe it?
Whatever you do, plan to pay your entire set off before the grace time each month, if at adjectives possible. When you are a student like I am, it's not other possible. In that case, discharge as much as you can, and call them to request a lower interest rate close to I did and see what they say.
low interest rate
Avoid the ones that charge annual fees. Avoid the ones that require mortgage payments as collateral. Check the small print for penalty clause rates.
Try to find one next to a low interest rate, they will kill you if you procure carried away with the spending. You can catch rewards cards with greater than average interest rates, or regular cards with slightly better interest rates. You can also find annual fee cards next to lower interest rates and no rewards or an annual fee rewards card next to a high interest rate. It adjectives depends on if you will be carrying a balance on the card and if it in actuality benefits you to obtain rewards. Talk to your hill and see what they have first. You can also apply online to most most important companies like american express, means one, visa and many others.
1. Make sure at hand is no annual fee.
2. Hopefully you will income your bills in full respectively month, so just brand sure there is a grace spell (20-25 days after close of billing cycle) where no interest is charged if you do this. Most cards own this, but a few don't.
3. If you won't be paying in full respectively month, look for a low interest rate.
4. Look for cash rear legs. Many cards offer 1% currency back on purchases, more contained by supermarkets, gas stations, drug stores, etc. There are numerous cards with different offer, so find what works best for you.

What does the memorandum "y" show on my credit report?
Question:
Answer:
I have never see that on mine. I don't know if that is honourable or bad!
I read mortgage credit reports adjectives day. I enjoy never seen a Y so it must appear on a different credit report.
Let me ask you, is the picture paid prompt? Are you higher than 50% of the consideration on the account (as surrounded by a credit card).
Is it a good statement or a bad one. You know.
it depends on which report you are looking at... near are three credit bureaus and each have different reports some reports are designed specifically for auto, mortgage, or other type of credit... in an auto purchase through a dealership the dealership can even own a different credit report than the credit report that the lender sees... they adjectives report the same broad information but they have different formats making it easier to see absolute information, but in actuality they are adjectives difficult to read if you don't have experience reading them even the report to be exact provided to the consumer from online sites can be confusing without reading adjectives the details...
If a collection agency is trying to collect on a debt I do not owe?
Question:
What can I do to prevent them from ruining my credit?
Seriously, I do not owe this debt. I am serious in regard to debt/bills. I have outstanding credit and would aversion to have these vultures ruin it.
Answer:
First of adjectives, make sure that you seem to be as cooperative as can be. Second, ask to receive copies of all of their paperwork from the company that say you owe the debt. Thirdly, contact the company in cross-question and request to have copies of thier paperwork of the transaction. Match the paperwork you receive near the reciepts that you have to show that the debt be paid, or never accrue to begin beside.
Have all the credit reporting bureaus put a details on your credit report that you are disputing the item. Have them also put a fraud alert on your credit report so that no one can issue credit to your SSN in need calling you first. This lasts for a few months, but you can renew it.
You should remain within constant contact with the collection agency. Return adjectives of their calls now, and respond to all of their parcels immediately. Explain that the debt be fraudulent each and every time. Ask them what you can do to lend a hand them get to the source of the fraud and straighten up their paperwork. You should be pursuing them to investigate the fraud just as much as they are pursuing you to collect settlement. Keep documentation of all of your contact next to them. Whatever you do, do not ignore anyone who is trying to collect the debt.
I would write them a memo and send it next to proof of delivery (I would suggest certified e-mail with a return acceptance - a postal clerk at the window can show you how to plague out the forms). Make sure that you put this in your communication, at the top, to the right on the same height of the name and address of the soul that you are sending the letter to: "Certified Mail" on the first dash, the article number (obtain the necessary forms from the clerk and that character will show you where the article number can be found) on the second dash and the words "Return Receipt" on the third line. All of this is at the top of the communication as indicated above.
Put in the memorandum that you dispute the amount that the person say that you owe. Tell the person that you want to know when the alleged debt be incurred, under what circumstances it be incurred, the amount of the alleged debt and to whom this person have reported this information to, if anyone.
It is important that you document adjectives of this in writing so that you preserve your rights. I know that this sounds approaching a great deal of work to do but you really requirement to do this to protect yourself.
Also, instruct that the person, efficient immediately, lone contact you in writing.
I hope that this help.
if this is someone calling you from GIOVE OR GOV LAW OFFICES then it is a scam, they scammed us for 10 months on a debt specifically not on my credit report and they have done this to copious people. ask them for written proof that you owe the money do not contribute or send them nil until you receive documents in the communication stating that you owe the money and then i would still hold that company checked out fully. if it is part of the giove or gov imperative offices afterwards you can see all the info you want if you just G00GLE GIOVE LAW OFFICES. ITS A SCAMMMMMMM AND THEY ARE LOW LIFES
First of adjectives check in your credit report if the collection is surrounded by there. After that form sure that you dispute it with the collections agency, if the report is in your credit report, the collection agency should notify the credit report agency that is to say dispute by the debtor, if they don't do that, they need to write sour your debt. If I were you I will let somebody know the credit report agency that if anyone open a topical credit line contained by your name, for you to be notify first.
anyone of you have problem same as mine?thenaturalbarn.com asked me to return what i bought for a discount..?
Question:
and now that i enjoy mailed the items for the settlement, they just dont want to answer my emails, is that swindling?
Answer:
Yep sounds similar to you may as well hold sent them to the salvation army.
Courious as to what they asked you to distribute back.
did you request a compensation or they.
If they requested it than there must hold been a foundation. if so why ? Yhe only purpose they owuld have done so is because they sent you items which are more prized than your were charged or it's a scam.
I hope you did not dance to a scam site which copied the real concordat. there are abundant of them.
A frioend at work lost 800 bucks on a motor which he never got though ebay because the other guy contacted him outside of ebay and it be a scam complete with a look alike ebay website.
seem like you get taken for a ride. www.bbb.com might be a good start to recouping your loss.
if you get it with a credit card on stripe, you could tell the credit card company roughly your dispute, but ofcourse you would have have to return the item and have the post bureau attatch a card the reciever has to sign, which costs you just about 3 dollars to do, but its the only physical proof you returned the item other than a post department mailing reciept.
SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM SITE
Can someone explain...why credit cards may or may not be a financial solution for you?
Question:
Answer:
credit cards have become my financial nightmare... they may be great for someone near self-control - miserably i have a not easy time telling myself "no" when i own convinced myself that i need something specifically not necessary to live and spend money i don't enjoy... i am working to get away from credit card enslavement cause by my lack of discipline and am starting to succeed, but i still won't experience the good cheer of my ultimate hope of debt free living for another 5 years **it takes rather longer to pay past its sell-by date a mortgage that a lender was brave satisfactory to provide to me but I can't get to the mortgage until i obtain through the credit cards -- i can only dream of the dried up money i have compensated to interest
For me personally I don't surmise they are necessarily a 'solution' but they are helpful during times when I involve a little more $. For example right presently I am putting a lot of holiday gifts, etc. on the credit card because I don't hold a lot of extra brass. I anticipate getting $ for christmas gifts and will be able to retribution off my credit card beside the money. So as long as you know you will be able to pay packet on the card or pay it sour it is okay to use.
Credit cards are great for building a credit rating...which is used to determine what rate of interest you'll be paying later when you buy a coup¨¦, home, etc. The better the credit rating, the lower interest typically you'll have to clear.
Unfortunately people start to live off the credit cards, and acquire into trouble when the amount they owe is greater than it should be, and the end up missing payments. it may not even be the folks fault..they lose thier livelihood, have a pay cheque cut, something like that..and your contained by trouble.
Credit cards are convenient and I make it a rule never to charge anything that I don't own money in the hill to cover.

What's the best approach to consolidate big interest credit card debt?
Question:
Answer:
If you have a 401k, you can filch a one-time loan from it for pretty much any reason. That's how I get out of debt about 5 years ago.
Whatever you do, hold on to making your payments on time. If you don't hold resources like a 401k, next there are lots agencies out there that are cooperative. Make sure they're non-profit, e.g. their website ends in .org
Try these:
www.cccsintl.org/
www.nfcc.org/
Good Luck, and if you do anything, swot to live within your system, develop yourself a budget, and track your spending.
Cheers'
Contact your current companies and try to talk to them just about lowering your interest rates. While you do that ask if they will give you a lower rate if you want to consolidate other credit cards. Use the company that give you the lowest rate to transfer adjectives your other debt to that card. (Most companies are will to work with you if you are serious roughly speaking a solution.)
you could join careone credit counseling. help me. and i only enjoy about 600 worth of debt gone.
Get a 0% interest on balance transfers card. The promotion is usually for a year and near is a 3% transfer allowance.
Washington Mutual is offering them right now.
www.WaMuCards.com
Maybe you can try below website. It's almost credit card information
If you have virtuous credit, one way is to draw from a 0% balance verbs card (one that has an introductory time of year for 12 months at least) and transfer doesn`t matter what amount you can to the card.
Then use the extra savings and salary down the balance on the card beside the highest interest rate. Make sure you reimburse the minimum balance on the 0% card and pay packet on time (otherwise, the apr will increase to the regular or evasion rate).
Once, you have rewarded off the card near the highest rate, move to the card near the next upmost rate.
The other alternative is to get a home equity loan and salary off your credit card debts. Your interest rate payments per month will probably be lower. However, debt on your credit card is unsecured, whereas a home equity loan is secured by your home. Hence, if you are every surrounded by trouble with your home equity payments, your house is on the row.
I would suggest going the 0% balance verbs card route rather than the home equity loan route.
my mom passed just now. do i hold to repay on her credit cards?
Question:
my mom passed away recently and I know hold to inform her credit card companies. I wasn't on her accounts so would they hold me responsible for paying the balance sour?
Answer:
I would suggest that you see an Attorney to find out what you should do, I would inform the companies to let them know that she chronological away. But inform a Attorney so you can find out what to do in quotation to accounts like mound, retirement and so for.
No u r not responsible for ur mom's debt.
I'm sorry for your loss.
You aren't directly responsible for the debts, but value of her estate would enjoy to go toward paying her debts previously anyone can inherit anything. If she didn't have satisfactory to cover the debts, you do not have to gross up the rest.
In some states the family of a lifeless are held responsible for any bills incurred. Your best bet would be to ask for a consultation with an attorney, most provide a 15 minute consultation for free. If she left a will or have anyone designated as the executor of her will there should be instructions as to what to do beside her property, bills etc. Go to G00GLE.com and type in "Ask a Lawyer" check the links and hopefully one of them may know how to help you or answer your question. Best of luck and my condolences for your loss.
Your mothers property is placed into an "estate" and all creditors must database to get a piece of it. So if she doesn't own profoundly, they won't get remunerated.
Unless you were a co-signer on the loan you own no responsibility at all. Worse that will occur is you will have zilch to inherit.
they cant hold you responsible but if you have any currency or real property to inherit from her, they will put a lien on it, so that you cant inherit in need paying them.
I am so sorry for your loss, here is the answer to your question:
Absolutely not! Creditors might try to come to you for your mom's debt, this is a sickening and risky tactic used by credit card company scum that you do not inevitability to respond to.
Again, my sincere condolences for your loss.
A mortgage is secured by the property. The bank can bear back the house. Credit card 'loans' are unsecured. That mechanism there is zilch that is aid the loan. There is nothing the credit card companies can bear. They can mess up your mother's credit reports, but that won't be a problem. Tell them 'too bad, bye bye.'
Whoever is within charge of her estate would handle adjectives her bills.
NO... but they will try. Snakes, beware of the snakes!
I hold a moment ago recieved a "Horizon Gold Credit Card" within the correspondence. I meditate i hold be scammed, What is this card
Question:
I applied for this credit card, because I was informed that the card have a 3000 dollar credit limit on it. I win the card in the post, and it sends me to some website where I can browse through a file of some sort. Have I just thrown away my 75 dollars? Could someone please communicate me what this card is about?
Answer:
Well yes you enjoy been took.Did you not read the fine print earlier you sent in the money.Do you mull over any place or person is going to distribute you a card or give you a credit card for 75 dollars a genuine credit cost 0 to get read back you sign look in the catalog and demand something for the 75 dollars if you can find it maybe you want loose much money.
Sounds to me close to a "store" credit card, except the store is "on-line"
I would definitely try to go and get my money back. In California -they hold to, if you request cancellation inside a certain length .
That's one of those credit cards that can only be used at a lasting place or catalog. The prices are very soaring, as well as the interest rates.
You probly threw away 75 bucks. Send me a 1000 and you can brouse though my cast-offs. Taake the card to walmarts and try ot use it..
First to save you embrassment look on the card for their 1-800 number and telephone it to verifly the card is good and what your credit confine is.
If the doctor told me I would be dead surrounded by 6 months I would have one. from every credit card company within the world. As well as visit every docrtor in the country who would tolerate me on credit and have every attorney to draw something up for me:):).
Just call them and htam try it for going on for 40 bucks and see how they operate before getitng contained by too deep and getitng stuck for thousands.
Send the card wager on. You can only use that card at their on file store for shopping only. I receive a similar card approaching that through the mail and did not apply for it. I sent it right fund to them and told them that I was not interested within the card because I did not want a credit card that I can only use on flash to purchase their merchandise only. Cut up the card and distribute it back and update them you're no longer interested in that card and a moment ago kiss the $75.00 bucks good bye :(
Sounds approaching you threw it away. I actually applied for like peas in a pod card last week, haven't gotten it all the same. I'm not worried about using it, that's why I get it. I'll use it once and then salary it off, I only wanted something next to that much of a limit on it showing on my credit. So it's a devout thing that it can't be used anywhere else motivation I'd have it charged to the max within no time flat. However, if you didn't read it good and thought you be actually getting a definite credit card I'm sorry you were mistaken. I doubt you'll take your money back. What website did they offer you?
companies that grant donation plans for vinyl window next to discouraging credit?
Question:
Answer:
I would just pick up the money and buy the windows one at a time and squirrel away the interest. It's cheaper.
If you can buy the windows for 2000 and nouns them you could be paying about 250 a month for 4 yrs(i've particular people who did this) that;s 12 elegant or $12,000. or 10,000 more than the windows cost. and you still hold to pay to hold them installed.
A company which would finance vinyl window labour and materials usually require a mortage on your home. Their rates could force you to lose your home. and what they will charge you for grind and materials will not likely result within a savings by cutitng vertebrae on your fuel or electric bill.. Vinyl windows back but it takes more than window to do that. I fyour credit is os bad you cannot attain a bank nouns it's likely one of thse companies will tak e your home or you'll be forever paying for it.
They any have their own nouns company or will sell the loan to the best bidder . Many of them have unknown clauses which lets than increase your rates.
Most companies which specialize surrounded by replacing windows or repairs own salesmen who sell for them and than they hire local or cheapest contractors to in truth do the work and sell bad the loan. YOU pay them adjectives and it's usually wiht a second mortage.
I would work on saving money for the window and repaioring your credit by paying your bills off. and utuilizing a funds account .
nyree s Is this in the order of you!??
☆★☆ http://www.osoq.com/funstuff/extra/extra...
I'm not quite sure what your concern are. Remember, you're the one surrounded by need of the money and they're the ones who ready to grant it. Needless to say aloud, they are the ones taking the risk with you...or whoever it is near bad credit!
Bare surrounded by mind they are granting money to someone with fruitless payment obsession. They are compensating by charging a very giant interest rate! So, your concern should be to yourself as to wether or not you can afford the payment!!
usually the window are WAY overpriced and the interest rate in exorbitant.
I would amass money & have the window done when you can afford them.
Having bad credit is abundant times caused by trying to carry everything NOW, even though you really can't afford it.
Th payment is solely $XXX, I can afford that... but how many times?
Is at hand any such item as a partial collapse? Or if liquidation is declared do they run your vehicle?
Question:
Answer:
Chapter 7 discharges all debt (with a couple of exceptions close to taxes, child support owed and student loans).
Chapter 13, you repay some or all of the debt.
You would own to work with a collapse attorney and/or a credit counselor approved by the Bankruptcy Court, to find out which one you qualify for. You will not qualify for Chapter 7 if it is determined you have the capability to repay some or all of your debt.
As for what is exempt, close to houses, vehicles, personal items, it vary by state. Look up your state on the link below to find out what pro of vehicle is exempt. If you own a Lamborghini, it's not going to be exempt. If you own a 1996 Chevy, it probably will. It will depend, in bit on the value of the saloon.
Yah they take everything that have debt owing to it. even your house in most cases. And after you jump through bankruptcy, devout luck on getting any of these things back.
It isn't a partial collapse, but you can exempt your house if you own it, or your car, as long as you intend to save making the payments. But you can't declare collapse, exempt the house and car and quit making payments. The mortgage holder can still pocket them away from you if you default on the loans.
I hold been through two bankruptcy in my natural life and through both of them I kept my cars and my house. In fact, I didn't lose anything. Even though my coup¨¦ was underneath the bankruptcy I newly kept making the payments and they never repo'd it but you can choose to leave things out of the collapse if you want to. It is called reaffirming the debt.
You can folder bankruptcy to clear your debt, but choose to reaffirm spot on debts such as a car loan or mortgage. The company that you will be reaffirming beside will have to agree to this and you will most potential have to sign a contract stating this is what you are doing. Under the current bankruptcy code soft reaffs (no signature) are no longer given impossible to tell apart consideration so the will probably have you sign a lesser contract. Contact a good collapse attorney, pay a bit extra for someone reputable, you will appreciate it in the long run. You don't want something you thought be covered popping up in a few years.
I'm thinking around filing Chapter 7 and I've gotten alot of info from www.creditboards.com...check it out!!
There is no "partial bankruptcy". But if you profile bankruptcy, you hold the opportunity to redeem the vehicle (buy it back for the importance of the vehicle at the time of the bankruptcy), reaffirm the debt (continue to pay for it as agreed) or surrender it to the secured creditor. If your vehicle have equity, you have the right to exemptions surrounded by many states. For example, within Illinois, you can exempt up to $2,400 in convenience of one car and up to $4,000 contained by other property which can be applied to a car. Many ethnic group get to keep hold of their vehicles.
im have trouble keeping a budget... i have need of some relieve any wesites out at hand ?
Question:
Answer:
The reason you may not be capable of keep your budget is that you are making/planning a budget you can't live next to. The problem have near budgets is that people assume budgets are adjectives about denial. Denying yourself luxuries; no it's not around denying yourself luxuries, which is why you probably can't stick to your budget.
What you should do is keep track of your regular spending for a month short changing your lifestyle. After month review your spending detail and then build a budget you can live near while minimizing frivolous spending.
For instance, if you are spending are now buying 5 cups of capuccino per year, rather than demarcate this luxury you could reduce your spending to 2 cups of capuccino per daylight. In other words, do not eliminate or deny yourself the things you similar to, just spend smaller amount on them. This way you will know how to construct a budget you can live with and can stick to. Consult a financial planner, they can usually give a hand people construct a budget they an truly follow and live with.
In a nutshell, a budget is not roughly denying yourself thing, but almost constructing a financial plan you can live with, a plan that elps you spend your money responsibly and helps ou wipe out frivolous spending. It helps you track/monitor your spending traditions, not about making your lifestyle sub-standard.
What going on for the Quicken software?
A buddy of mine recommends http://www.aidfinancial.web
Check out Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover". I can't even begin to read out how much his book and information has help me not only become completely debt free, but bring in and stick to a monthly budget. Within 13 months I have manage to wipe out freshly over $28,000 in debt including my motorcycle and my primary vehicle. Just to agree to you know, Dave's website looks like a bunch of propaganda, but the information inwardly is and was a financial lifesaver for me!
Budgets are tough too keep hold of. (Learned that the hard method with experience myself.) I don't own any good websites to propose, but I do have some tips:
* Take a piece of article or a spreadsheet program on your computer. (The advantage of the spreadsheet is you can press your numbers with greater assuage. Microsoft Excel works really well for this, but thats only just the one I use. Others will work equally well, I'm sure.)
* account each of your regular monthly expenses within two columns. Things like rent, mortgage sum, car gift, telephone and internet services and utilities, credit card payments (hopefully, you are paying more than the minimum payments!) and any other regular monthly sum which is roughly the same from month to month. The first column should document the expense by name, and the second should roll the expense by amount. Some of these might vary slightly from month to month, but bestow a close estimate if that is possible.
* total these expenses. That is your platform budget. At the end of the month, you want to enjoy more money left over from your paychecks than you own expenses to cover.
* Now the hard piece: Its okay to add on more expenses, but only if you know you will be capable of afford to pay for them at the close of the month. Its so easy to splurge (been here, and done that) but you really do need to not consent to temptation acquire the better of you. I've been wanting to take DSL service for my internet connection for over 4 years presently, but my budget simply hasn't allowed me to afford to do it, so I haven't done it.
Thats "the basics". Sometimes, it simply helps to see adjectives of this stuff on paper (or on the computer blind, if you've done it that way). Now for some extra tips, consider opening up a nest egg account. This works abundantly better if you put money into your savings depiction on a regular basis, and it works even better if it take some time to get the money out of the hoard account. As a compulsive gambler myself, I can attest to the meaning of having this type of depiction. I use ING Direct ( http://www.ingdirect.com ) which requires a linked checking statement so that you can send and receive money via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to and from your checking report. It typically takes 2 to 3 business days for a funds verbs to go through to your allied checking account. You'll hold to experiment with this yourself to find out exactly how long it can steal for you. For a long time, I was paying most of my bills directly out of this rationalization on a monthly basis. Many companies will allow you to debit funds from such accounts directly. Keep surrounded by mind, though, that as this is an interest baring nest egg account, you are restricted to no more than 6 withdrawals on a monthly starting place. If you exceed that number of withdrawals on a regular spring, they could close your account on you.
I hope this help.
you can take a peack at this site:
hope it help
I use an Excel spreadsheet. It's clear, concise, and easy to use/update. I'm more than glowing to forward you a copy if you're interested. Just email me!
I wrote an application to solve my own budgeting issues since nothing existing did what I required. It lets you enter your expenses surrounded by a calendar format and plan ahead for purchases and for balances contained by your bank justification. Its much better than the standard biweekly or monthly budget, which tell you nil about a given hours of daylight when you go to get purchases.
Give it a try. I'd love to hear feedback also.
I file liquidation past her, so why am is she getting the credit cards and im getting denied?
Question:
i filed collapse in 2004 a friend file about 5 months after me. she have been not long approved for about 2-3 credit cards while i am still one denied credit! whats up with that? i've checked by credit report and it merely shows the accounts that i had included surrounded by my bankruptcy. We both owed in the order of the same amount past filing so i dont know! What could be the problem? BTW i applied for a secured card instead just to try and backing my credit out!
Answer:
Every offer is different. She probably have been approved for cards near high interest rates, low maximum ($300 or so), and a $79 annual fee.
The secured card is a great impression.
And, her credit cards are probably secured, which means lots and lots of fees. One of the best ways to restore your health your credit is this:
Save up $500. Open a savings sketch at, say, Bank of America, and deposit the $500. Take out a $500 loan secured next to your savings portrayal. Take the $500 loan and open another funds account at, voice, Wachovia. Deposit. Get another savings narrative secured loan. Repeat this as many times as you can or will. When you carry the last loan, transport it and pay bad the first loan, close the account, embezzle out the money, pay stale the second loan, etc, etc. Soon, you will have several loans salaried off contained by a timely fashion showing on your credit report. Hope this help.
To the post above: Isn't that also illegal? Don't use a credit card and seize a checking account at a edge.
Income and how long you have be at your job effect approval also.
When you file has nil to do with self approved for a credit card. Credit decisions are base on factors of risk, they look at your gain, your pay history, your debt, how long you hold been on your chore, how long you have be at your residence & how much you make every month.
You might try Orchard edge, I used them after my B.K. and they were the best I found after sifting through over a dozen pre-approved applications.
If they turn you down, the secured card is your best bet.

bankruptcy will stay on your credit report for 7 years. usually the unenthusiastic effects start to diminish after about 3 years, though you will still clear higher interest rates. if you're person turned down, look for other reasons. length of time on your profession, current income to debt ratio (including rent) and the number of accounts that were discharged adjectives play a factor. also if you are making multiple applications where credit is individual pulled by card companies, this will have an effect- the more inquiries on your credit folder the more a lender will think up to that time extending credit.
be sure to check all three credit reports as capably, as there are differences- accounts not on experian will show up on transunion and equifax.
ruminate carefully nearly getting back into credit card debt as well- ruin laws hold changed drastically since 2004 and if you find yourself in trouble again it won;t be as comfortable to get out of it.

Question:
Answer:
Damn, someone stole my thunder - was going on for to say apply for a secured credit card.
Or, try to obtain a credit card issued by a store - a JC Penney card or a Wal-Mart card for example. Regulations for being approved for them differ greatly from regular Visas, Mastercards, and American Expresses.
Apply for a secured credit card, that's a great track to start you out with credit, if you enjoy none.
easiest way is to start out next to a department store credit card like sear, jcpenny etc.. or something through the mail approaching a cheap gift company. close to fingerhut.. good luck.
A couple of great credit cards for getting started or even building credit are: Orchard Bank Card, Tribute Card, and First Premier card.
