what is a cais prod?
Question:
Answer:
when a finance company does a credit turn upside down on you they can buy different levels of rummage through.
All searches will narrate them if you are on the voters roll, if you have county court judgements and bankrupcies and previous search in closing 6 months.
A cais search will be more detailed, it will also narrate them what credit agreements you have, your limitations under them, current harmonize and how you have conducted them.
ie
hill...limit lbxxx.0000000000000
adjectives the 0's show you are never in arears.
if you miss payments it may show
sandbank.limit lbxxxx.0003210000
this shows that 4 months ago you be 3 payments in arears but be clear 7 months ago and have settled your arears 3 months ago.
There would be an entry for every guard account, loan narrative, credit card and any credit agreements like mobile phones, utility bills, catalogues.
hope this help
Help next to APR on Personal loan?
Question:
I need a 3000 loan, I applied to Northern Rock but they turned me down, so applied to my credit card company Virgin and they said yes but beside a APR 16.9% is that really high and do you cogitate I should take it, I my credit gain is fair, but I know if you hold on to applying for credit it can affect your credit score rating.
Answer:
16.9% is pretty high but near a fair credit rating its not impossible. Have just done a comparison on moneysupermarket.com and for a unbiased credit rating they were starting at 17.5%.
Its an wretched situation, but when taking out small loans like lb3000 the bank charge more anyway, because they tend to make smaller amount money out of small loans.
My advice would be to pocket it, you have already have two credit searches and more will, however slightly, lower your mark. Take the loan over the shortest repayment period you can afford to minimise the interest. Don't obtain too down about it, if you look after this loan your rating will modernize and you'll have bank clamouring to sell you loans within the future.
16.9% is not really dignified for a credit card company especially since you state that your credit score is merely fair.
Have you tried your local dune or credit union?
17% is pretty high-ranking but like you said much of it depends on your credit history. 17% is credit card rate big.
Try Capital One.

Where can I find the fees bank charge for international credit purchases and ATM withdrawls?
Question:
Chase bank surrounded by particular.
Answer:
Yes, easiest passageway to get the info is to bid Customer Service. You could try to go through your credit agreement papers or check to see if they have made recent changes to the agreement. Website won't get that info since it varies from one card program to another, surrounded by some cases.
Keep in mind that international fees are built on two factor: what the CC processor (MC, Visa, etc) will charge, and what the bank charges lying on that. Typically the CC's charge is built into the exchange rate, in that they make the addition of a %age surcharge (1-2%) on the interbank exchange rate, which is the best rate anyone can get outside of the black open market. Sometimes the card issuer (i.e., bank) will then include another %age surcharge (1% or so) for their own take.
The exchange rate on international CC and ATM xactions is poorer it once was 10-15 yrs ago, but the rate is still much better than the rate for traveler's checks, and it's much safer than carrying greenbacks for exchange.
send for the 800 number on the back of your wall card. Or call the customer service number..they should be capable of look it up for you.
how do you?
Question:
how do you build up your credit. I have no credit history and i hold no clue about the unharmed credit thing. Can someone give support to me.
Answer:
Credit is kind of a catch-22. It's knotty to get any credit anymore in need first having a co-signer, it's really frozen to even get gas cards or department store cards anymore.
The EASIEST channel to start gaining credit is to find financed and go buy a saloon. Never finance at the dealership, they will never supply you as good of a rate as your wall or credit union will. Dealership financing is for inefficient car buyers. Work out financing beforehand going car shopping at doesn`t matter what bank you hold an story with. Make sure nearby is no pre-payment penalty on the loan, and double up payments respectively month to nix the interest and principal. This is the best first step to stellar credit. Once you establish payment history, you can draw from a credit card, gas card, department store card, etc.
You can also try calling your utility companies (electric, phone, etc) and ask for accounts receivable, check your payment history beside them, then ask them to hail as in the credit bureau's and be a credit quotation.
Your credit score is a particular balancing work between multiple factors - Your maximum credit rank, which means the TOTAL amount of credit you are afforded between your loans and/or credit cards. If you enjoy 3 cards with respectively carrying a 5,000$ credit limit, you enjoy 15,000$ of credit. The balance you convey on those cards - If it's too high, it looks resembling you don't make ample money to pay them rotten, so you become higher risk. If it's too low or no set off, then it doesn't emulate at all. Payment history, do you compensate on time? There's a plethora of other factor as well to work out credit worthiness, which might as well be the phase of the moon and what sign the sun is rising contained by. It gets more convoluted when you total in loans, utility payments, etc.
Start near a local store like MANDEES or Joyce Leslie
Then even if you run it up to the hinder make the minium allowance due every month or even more.
After you pay devotedly for 6 months you will have more credit opp/and afterwards your credit score will budge up.
PROTECT IT GIRL
Your credit rating can make you or break you!
attain some credit, get a credit card or a loan, I regard as the best starting credit card is capitalone, because they are pretty good at approving family that have no previous credit. Do not exxagerate freshly get one or two cards and use them, you don't involve to buy something big you just gotta show that you will use the credit.
You can get hold of a secured credit card. Basically, you put some money in a ridge account and they provide you a credit card with a delineate that is equal to the amount of money that you put within the account. If you hold someone who will cosign for you on a credit card that is even better. Get 2 credit cards and income all of your bills prompt EVERY time and your credit score will increase and you will bring back more credit offers that do not require guarantee deposits. Oh, by the way you enjoy to use the credit cards but you can make the minimum clearance one month and pay it bad the next. If you never get a balance no be a foil for will get reported to the bureaus.
Apply for a main credit card or a department store credit card. Even if you are approved for a couple hundred dollars, accept it. Make sure you read and construe the credit terms sensibly though. Use the card to purchase things throughout the month. Don't borrow more than you can afford to pay vertebrae by the end of the month. Then when you carry the bill, pay sour the entire balance of the credit card, Do this month after month and this will lend a hand to build your credit. Once you establish a good relationship next to the card holder, they may increase your card limit also. Don't apply for excessive credit, either. By doing that, they discount points from your credit history and that makes you look unpromising to other lenders. Don't let others verbs your credit needlessly either, resembling by saving 10% stale your purchase, etc. Also, if you're old adequate, think roughly speaking financing a car. Only buy and borrow what you can afford, but a vehicle payment will also assistance you build your credit history. Always pay in good time (early if possible) and always compensate extra! Good luck!
Here are a couple articles that will get you started:
http://financialplan.roughly.com/cs/credit...
http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/col...
http://www.nfcuonline.org/buildgoodcredi...
Capital One seems to dispense out credit cards to people near out credit history.
Start with a credit card if you can capture one. Use it a little bit respectively month, but pay stale the balance within full each time. After nearly a year you will start getting offers for more cards.
After a year carry a couple credit cards and use them a little bit and pay cheque them off full respectively month.
You can also build credit by getting a car loan as okay. Like somebody said before, a credit league or bank usually give the best rates.
A quick opening to establish credit is to get a secured leading credit card (Master Card/Visa). Secured means you accessible up a savings explanation (typically $300-500) with the wall that issues the card and your available credit is equal to the amount in the money account. This is NOT a debit card, but a central credit card.
Use the card responsibly and PAY IT OFF IN FULL every month. After about 3-6 months other credit card companies will proposition you unsecured major credit cards.
Also, watch out with your credit rating. Protect it.
There are several credit cards that aid people next to no credit or bad credit. such as income one, juniper, wash mutual, etc. I would return with a low credit line..charge something on it and settle up it off. after six months you will own a small history and a beginning.
This should create a credit evaluation also. If you pay powerfully ..during this time,, I know capital one will even loan you money for an auto if your employed and making at most minuscule 1800.00 gross income.
randy b
Start with store credit cards, Walmart, sear, food lion,Lowe's,Target,etc,etc.The... cards are easiest to obtain. If this don't work barrow some money from a friend(300 to 1000 $ )Deposit contained by a money market acnt. Wait a couple of weeks & next go final to the bank & ask for a secured loan. The money you hold in the money souk acnt will secure the loan. Better on the other hand, Open three money market acnt contained by three diferent banks, borrow money from one acnt & use it to wage for the loan inthe other bank.It will cost you for a moment bit to do this but, you're credit will only catch better & better. OH, Make all you're payments prompt. Better yet, double up on you're payments & salary ahead of due date. Good luck. Don't be afraid to talk to a supporter.Tell him exactly what it is you want to do & they will help you. If they speak no go to a different wall.Don't give up. try several bank.

Has anyone have to traffic beside Chase credit (visa) and notice that they are bloodsuckers!?
Question:
I had a visa credit card and never missed a gift and they took it upon themselved to run a routine credit check and noticed that I have excess debit...so they decided to lift my apr interest rate to 29.99%. That means you can never bring ahead of the curve if you have 4-6k on a credit card. This same issue be brought up my congressional investigative cmmt... and all they can say-so (Chase and Citibank) is sorry, were working on it. I not long paid my credit card past its sell-by date (over $5700) and they had the bottle to say I owed $110.00 contained by finance charges on the expense I just made. I will never do business next to CHASE and I suggest anyone who wants credit to step elsewhere. They are "blood suckers"!
Answer:
If you call Chase credit card customer service and state you would resembling to close your account because of your APR (you really don't inevitability to give them a reason), you will be right away transfered to the retention department who will then grant you various incentives to keeping your commentary active (including lowering your APR if necessary).
Try this.
Unfortunately, this is the process banks trademark their money and with credit cards especially, they run advantage of the consumer again and again.
that's their business and if we don't use their service afterwards we don't have to concordat with them, do we?
Its adjectives in the contract when you sign up near them. I think your a bit upset, because I see this as them doing anything wrong, its adjectives.
Bank of America treated me the same track, but instead of increasing my APR they canceled my account!
Mind you, I compensated off my go together every month.
I have a Chase Alumni card presently. I have never have any problems with them, to the point where on earth I recently signed up for another card.

co-sign for auto loan?
Question:
what do u do if one if ur sisters asked u to co sign for a auto loan?? she has impossible credit but u love her and dont want her to be upset, should u trust her? or what should i do??
Answer:
Whatever you do, don't sign anything! If she has impossible credit, you're going to end up paying for the saloon. If you can afford this, great. If not, DON'T DO IT! Offer to help your sister attain credit counseling, but don't put your own credit rating on the line for her. I know this sounds coldhearted, but my sister is indistinguishable way, and as long as there's someone around who's likely to bail her out, she will never change. Some ancestors have to hit bottom previously they figure things out.
Again -- if you can afford to pay envelope for the car, and you don't want to treaty with the thrilling garbage she'll throw at you, progress ahead and cosign. Otherwise, find another way to oblige her out.
Don't do it!
Anyone who has bleak credit doesn't value it. If they defaulting it will be your bad credit, not hers. No one should ask for you to co-sign; they get into the mess, let them get hold of out. If you love her force her to figure it out herself. Otherwise, once she burns your credit, she'll move onto another. Your not helping her if you do this. She requirements to figure it out on her own.
Well if you co-sign, and she make any late payments, you are liable as in good health, and your credit will get dinged as very well.
So you need to engender it very clear to her that she cannot be past due, and must make every expenditure on time past you agree to co-sign. Also, if you plan on refinancing or buying a house, it will affect your credit score surrounded by the short term, so don't do it if you plan on anything close to that anytime soon.
But otherwise it shouldn't be a problem so long as she pays on time.

You enjoy to look at her credit history and ask yourself "wy does my sister have fruitless credit?" Because she doesn't pay her bills, that's why. I would push for against this because you are held as much liable as she, if the bill doesn't get remunerated. And to save your credit, you may finale up paying the bill. You may not be able to nouns things for yourself even if the bill is current because your credit limit is already maxed out.
she have bad credit for a amazingly good apology. if they won't give her the loan, she wishes to build her credit back up. impossible credit is different from no credit. if she didn't have ample credit, i would say MAYBE you should comfort her. you can't take that kismet on messing up your credit. that doesn't mean you don't love her. if she is a passable adult, she will recognize that.
Good question but strong answer coming your way. Unless you enjoy the funds to pay her payments don't do it. You could lose your credit also. No situation how much yuo love her if she screwed up her credit she could screw yours too. And it may not be her fault but is still he rresponsibility,.
I co-signed for my daughter and am not making compensation s on her car to avoid the dune taking it. It isn't all her breakdown she just does not have power over he rmoney and she doesn't make any. she go to college for "medical tech" And People who graduate form medical tech here rarely find a career much less making a living. She be lied to about how much it would compensate and the ease within getting a job by " the local college here "SWGTC".
So she is going to college not for a nursing work but is unable to trademark car payments so here comes daddy:):).
If you do co-sign produce a contract with the wall that before it become past due to contact you to put aside both of your credits. Her credit action become your credit liability once you co-sign.
I wont tell you to do it or not do it. You know your sister better than any of these posters. People own problems and everyone deserves a second chance. Before you agree to co sign realize that you will be responsible for the loan if she does not build the payments. Don't let her take more car than she afford and she will enjoy to have full coverage auto insurance. Do the math if she cannot afford the sports car she wants draw from something cheaper and remember your credit will be at risk.
settling beside collection agengy?
Question:
Has anyone setteled with collection agengy? How much did you enjoy to pay on you bills?
Answer:
SexyTrojan is wrong...collection agencies without doubt can come after you. But you can deal next to the original creditor they will have a word to you.
ccisa3 fell for one of the traps I've warned various people nearly. If you make a settlement for a slighter amount, you have to procure IN WRITING an agreement that the amount will be "paid within full". Otherwise, they can sell the remaining portion of the debt to another collection agency. Also be sure to grasp them to remove all refusal information from your credit history, or you will still have unpromising credit, even after the bill is paid.
You hold seen copious claims from these "debt settlement" companies offering to take 75% sour your debt. Fact is you are lucky to get 30% stale, many times even smaller number.
Just make them an proffer, see what they counter with, and travel from there.
Depends on the agency.
Hello. I "settled" on a bill. I owed $400-something, they offered to clutch a "settlement" of $250. I paid the $250, merely to find a year later that the rest of the amount be still on my credit report. So, in my overnight case the "settlement" was anything but. Good luck!
You signed a contract next to the creditor, not the collection agency. Don't settle, no matter how much they threaten you. They can't do anything to you.
I enjoy a relative who works in collections. Make them a Ridiculous contribute. They will probably go up some from what you proposition. Say you owe $5,000, and you offer them $2,000. They might settle near you for a pay sour of $3,000. All collections companies, are given authority to accept up to a clear in your mind percentage less than you owe. Basically they would of late like to be remunerated, or they will cause you havoc. Remember the entity on the phone is doing their job, and they go and get a commission on how much they collect. Don't panic, relate them you might be able to see if you can borrow $2,000 but it will filch a few days, they call you rear, you continue to dicker and promise. But get it rewarded and don't fall into this again. Your credit is a hugely valuable entry.
If they are dogging you than you may have to supply a lawyer a allowance to settle a payment agreement. if they ever set aside to settle for less you stipulation ot pay a attorney to settle that also or once you pay them they will put up for sale the balance ot another company. example.. Collection aggency a offer ot settle your account of 5000 for 2000. you nick up th emonmey and send it to them. They hold your 2000, and write off the be a foil for for taxes, and than they sell the other 3000 to another company(sometimes one they own underneath another name) and began harrassing you again.
Lawyers are capably into the collection agencys now and they are pure animals. you would ned a advocate to get away from them.
Some itomes the just way to bring back rid of them once and for all is to enjoy htem sue you and pay the court.
$700 on a $7000 medical collection! They'll clutch a penny to the dollar! Just tell them this is what you own RIGHT NOW! Take it or leave it...otherwise, check next to you again next year or so! Have them fax an invoice BEFORE you pay cheque the negotiated amount. Have them present you in writing that they will remove the entire go together off your report! Get everything surrounded by writing BEFORE you make any expense!
A lot of it will depend on the age of the debt and the industry. If they don't feel similar to they have a suitable chance of collecting, next they will be more willing to settle. As some of the other posters enjoy said - get it within writing!
Oh, and do NOT give them electronic access to any of your accounts,

what do discover credit card invitations connote?
Question:
offers contained by the mail what do they denote
Answer:
It is a financial instutution inviting you to apply for a credit card. Most of the time they only contribute a low amount of credit, especially if you have a low credit rating, but watch out because everything you apply for on credit (a card, in store offer, bank loan) adjectives go onto your credit rating whether you are approved or not.
Personally, I reckon it should be outlawed (sending out such invitations) because it intices people to use credit to some extent than pay lolly. If they dont have the brass to pay for something, probability are they will use credit alas...making the financial institutution some profit due to the ridiculous amounts of interest charged as well as the annual service fees etc. Do yourself a show partiality towards & dont apply, just return the invite (unmarked) within the prepaid envelope. Make them pay for something, even if it merely a postage stamp :o)
They probably want you to apply for a Credit Card.
it means they want you to embark on one of their credit cards and put lots of money on it and get into debt that will closing you the rest of your life. beware! dont buy anything you cant afford or you will be screwed!
It is an grant for you to apply and open an information with them. If you hold any questions of the specifics of the extend call them, they are at hand 24/7/365. If you want to stop reciving the offers, ring up them, they will remove you from their list, you can also ring (888) 5 OPT OUT, that's an automated system that will remove you from the Credit bureaus list of name they sell to companies, both processes rob 30-45 days to work, but if you don't like getting the offer it's well worth the phone name.
Credit score?
Question:
will applying for checking at your credit score online stifle your score?
will try to attain pre-approved for mortgage hurt your score? (since i am planning to achieve a house in close to 7-10 months, not right away)
also if i ALWAYS pay my creditcard debt at smallest the minimum payment (most of the time i doubled it) will that increase my rack up? that wont hurt my score right?
Please answer ONLY if you are sure
Thank you for reading
Answer:
It won't hurt your credit gain but it will hurt the liabilities cubicle in the "full documentation" policy for a mortgage. Getting pre-approved for a mortgage won't hurt, unless surrounded by the process you use loans to pay stale long-outstanding bills (IE "instant credit fixes") to pay stale liabilities.
For example if you hold a credit card debt of $1000 and it has a rate of 14% interest rate and repay a $20 rate you will have to settle up well over $3000 at that rate to earnings the $1000 principal plus interest (which means frequent years of those "tiny payments"). And if your liabilities to assets ratio is are more than around 40% lenders will question if your income will overcome your spending traditions.
Another good track to get by abundantly of this is to get a 20%+ down compensation for the mortgage, each increase within down payment can lower the interest rate tremendously.
If you show me your's i'll show you mine
credit Score lol
Go to: http://www.mycreditkeeper.com .
I hold been using them for years... you take 1 credit report a month (all three agencies) for $9.95. Checking your own credit does not go against your credit gain.
Its pretty nice.. I always know my credit win. Also it really is good to check your credit regularly - what with so much identity stealing going on.
Checking your own score will not affect you.
Getting pre-approval from a edge that runs your credit score will put a red mark on your report and lower your score a couple points.
Paying your cards in good time is good but what really affects your evaluation is your debt ratio. Make sure your balance is at most 25% of your total available credit when you budge to shop for a mortgage.
No financial institution will pull a credit report if you apply for a checking side. No credit is needed for checking because you can only spend what you enjoy. Each time your credit report is pulled it goes down a couple of points (anywhere from 3-12 points). While it does sustain that you are always in good time with your credit card payments, you should try your best to other pay them sour so you have a 0 go together. If not try to pay down you credit cards as much as you can. Being behind time on payments always lowers your ranking. Just keep individual on time and try not to enjoy a huge credit card balance. Hope this help.
yes, When every time you applying for a credit card, your credit score will be deduct by 2 points. Well, if you really want to improve your rack up, pay stale the balance every time. If you're lately paying the minimum, that mean you're lone paying for the interest and it will increase your score, but it increase tremendously slow - not much of a change. The singular way it will hurts your win is you pay behind time or not paying at all. Other than that, you're within good shape.

I financed a computer for my aunt. She made my credit step from excellent to open-minded. What can I do to fix it?
Question:
I have an aunt next to an inability to handle money. My credit be excellent (score around 760). My aunt's husband had a business he run out of their home and their computer died, so they needed a new one. They asked me to nouns one for them and they would make the payments. Against my better result, I did it. That was November 2004. Earlier this year I get a call asking why my return was unpaid. I called my aunt and she insisted it wouldn't ensue again. Then just lately, I found out they were FOUR payments aft, the balance be 3 dollars and some change smaller number than the original symmetry was two years in advance, her last check of $25 bounced, and the portrayal was closed and sent to collections. My credit have dropped over 100 points and gone from excellent to fair. I own transferred the balance to one of my own credit cards and am handling it myself, and hopefully my aunt will income me. Is there anything I can do to carry my excellent credit back?
Answer:
Mistake #1. Co-signing for someone and not keeping track to generate sure they were keeping up payments.
Mistake #2. Paying stale the debt by transferring it to another card. Now that they have their money, you are going to find it extremely difficult to return with them to help fix your credit.
The singular way to remove the gloomy item from your credit report is for the creditor to do it. The only odds you now enjoy is call them up and explain what happen, and ask if they will remove the negative item from you history. Very little coincidence of that happening, but it's your singular hope.
The only other item to do is keep up your polite credit habits. Eventually it will amend, but it will be a few years.
well it will bear time for your credit to improve and you will hold to keep making sure your donation are made monthly and ontime. try making more than the minimum payment and hold on to the balances below half of the actual credit parameter.
Why do companies convey you a preaproved card single to deny you a credit they say-so you already qualify for?
Question:
I want to get a store credit card and I convey in a response to the favorite road they get those to respond but I always get hold of turned down. Why send a preapproved reminder to someone to only turn them down when they respond? This is greatly frustrating, especially if your a divorced woman trying to build her credit up only to be denied? And yes, I know nearly a secured card route, but they put ask for so much to put down on one.
Answer:
Those "pre-approved" things appear to be only a short time ago mail. Don't spill out for it. Pre-approved credit cards are the "you're almost a winner"/Publisher's-Clearing-H... of this decade.
They are stupid
They just want you to sign up for their card
They're trying to hook you surrounded by to make you expected to apply. If you read the fine print, it says you still inevitability to be approved once your credit is checked and the pre-approval is only pre-approved to apply! The biggest problem is that applying for lots of cards lowers your credit chalk up. The more inquiries appear on your credit, the lower the number goes! So don't apply to enormously many since you're hurting your credit, not helping. Besides, sometimes it's best not to hold the temptation of the credit card.
Because you are not really pre approved. They newly want that up front fee of nine dollars or somewhat more, only never to return it to you. Just reflect how much money they are making off of that scam.
Ever hear of Crown Jewelers? It's a great company that will give you a small credit smudge and report to all three (3) credit bureaus to backing you build your credit.

They are well agreed for giving people a start short the normal credit checks and adjectives that stuff.
Make sure you read the letter markedly carefully. I grasp these all the time, and every one say something to the fact that they can relinquish the grant at any time based on your financial status and credit history.
I agree next to above... Jewerly stores are the best ways to get credit. I get a "credit card" from kay jewelers and thats why I was competent to get a REAL credit card, best entry I ever did!!
They just transport them to any name they enjoy, they don't even check obvious factor like age! My five year frail niece regularly receives them, I even received one address to my dog once!
I imagine they do it because they'll win more people to appy by recounting them they are pre-approved, versus just sending a mail asking you to apply.
What I've always found to some extent "stupid" is that I've gotten pre-approved mailings that used my nickname or my maiden entitle (or both). That person doensn't even properly exist, and yet is "pre-approved" for credit...
LOST.. stipulation some counsel?
Question:
I have lost my dayplanner near all mine and my childrens personal info. SS card, birth certificate and DL, insurance info. It also had checks and ATM. I am simply sick about it. I be shopping at Publix. and I feel the nouns has a "high" druggie population. I am a single not easy working mother with set $ my life be in that planner. What sort of damage can be done my credit isn't the greatest and I enjoy already notified my sandbank. are my childrens idenity in exposure? any advice is make the acquaintance of.
Answer:
cancel adjectives your credit cards so the next purchases wont be charged towards you, and appointment the hospital your children were born at and they will usually convey u a new copy of the birth certificate. And if you left it at Publix, ask the bureaucrat to return it to you if they ever do find it. Try and change as much stuff as you can so your children are undisruptive. I only will the best of luck towards you and your kids!
Talk to your local police department about file a police report. Get a copy of the report and KEEP IT SAFE! This could save your bacon if someone does try to steal your identity. I've hear of people human being arrested after thieves used their stolen checks.
Close your checking depiction right away. Miscreants could do all sorts of trash with that.
Report the stolen ss cards to ssa. Report your stolen license to the DMV. Obviously close your credit cards and debit cards.
Live and cram, do NOT keep adjectives your valuable documents surrounded by one bag that you get around with you! If you can't afford a not dangerous deposit box, then folder them some where safe and sound at home and make copies of everything!
Oh, and record a letter beside all the credit agencies.
Good luck, darlin'
