which of these credit cards is better?
Question:
a card with an apr of 14.9% but a $19 annual bias fee
OR
a card next to an apr of 19.24% but has no annual duty.
Answer:
are you planning to carry a set off on these credit cards? If you are planning to, spend the $19 bucks for the lower intrest rate. But if you are not planning to carry a set off, get the no annual allowance.
If you are going to spend alot of money on your credit car, I would look into a 1% hindmost credit card. At the end of the year, they bestow you 1% of your total spending on your credit card.
The one w/ 14.9 int rate.
if you are planing on using it a lot and preserve some balance on it for long time the 14.9% is better if you are going to remuneration off your be a foil for regularly the 19.24% fee is better
The lower interest rate will cost you smaller amount as long as you intend to carry a stability, or, if you intend to pay the match off every month, the card short the annual fee is better.
Depends on if you're planning on paying it sour every month or not. If you are, then it doesn't really event how high the interest is, because it won't ever apply to you.
These cards are BOTH dreadful! Look for a card that have an APR under 10%, and if you can't qualify for one, draw from a "secured card" from your bank (you afford the bank some dollar amount as a 'deposit', and that become the limit on the card. If you use the card greatly, and pay it sour in full respectively month for a while, your credit rating will improve and you'll stop getting offer with silly rates resembling 19.24%)
You go for the one beside NO ANNUAL FEE... If you plan on paying it off respectively month then it doesn't business what interest rate they charge due to you never having to pay cheque any !
Why pay a excise for a card that isn't needed !! Go with no tax and pay it rotten EVERY MONTH no excuses !

why would a credit card company ask for my driving license number?
Question:
Answer:
So they can verify you are who you say you are
To find out more info on you!
if yr not joyous giving that info then dont do it, they do ask 4 proof but not yr number
contained by some states your drivers license number is yooue social security number but if it isnt they can access driving chronicles and info from the registry
to further prove your address and Identity
to find you.
I work for a credit company but we just use a SS#.
because u can be found if you do runner
The anti money launder regulations in this country hold changed recently. They entail to verify your identifity somehow. They ask your number instead of getting a photocopy or other ID posted to them. They can tell your date of birth and if your masculine or female from your driving licence number, so they can verify whether it's definite or not. The details are all kept out of harm`s way though, and lets facade it there's not really much they can do with your driving licence number... and they probably can't use it to track you down cos that would be breaching facts protection.
How do i make over my credit card to a nother one to take-home pay my bill?
Question:
Answer:
Find a credit card company that claims it is doing you a favour.
You hold to contact both credit card companies and ask about match transfers. Then you tell the card you transferred the symmetry FROM that you are cancelling your card.
You aren't asking a sensible request for information here..explain a little more
Call a strange credit card company and inquire about a "match transfer" but you have to enjoy fairly fully clad credit in charge to switch like that.
Most credit cards will bequeath you checks that you can use to pay bad other credit cards. You can also get dosh advances from your card and deposit the money contained by your account to salary off the other cards.
Contact the credit card company you want to verbs it to and ask if you can. They should let you do it.
The simply one that needs to approve it is the brand new company you want to transfer it to.
Building credit grill, abet!!?
Question:
Secured credit cards are designed to assist people who hold never had credit or those who enjoy bad credit, surrounded by order to see them to establish a good credit rating.
Must one be 18? If so, is here anyway for someone under the age of 18 to build credit?
Answer:
You don't requirement a secured credit card to establish credit, or one that requires you pay anything up front. Just gain a retail store credit card (Sears, Best Buy, clothing stores) to help estabilsh credit. Use it and remuneration the balance respectively month. Keep it for a while and then try to apply for a conventional visa or mastercard through Capital One. You just inevitability to get something established first. The secured cards can be a rip rotten.
dangerous question, dangerous answers
not here within public
no, you must be 18. But credit is so important. Learn something like it first, then when your 18 you can resolve. This is a big decision that will any make or ruin your energy.
I, being 17, be told to take out a loan.
I be told to take out a $500(or anything amount, I think greater is better) and stick it in a SDB(Safty Deposit Box) and merely pay the interest on it. Everytime you remuneration the interest, it goes towards you credit. It shouldn't cost too much if you hold a job.
You could probably progress to your local bank (maybe one your parents dune at) and apply for a $500 or $1000 loan and have your parents co-sign if needed or put up yoiur vehicle as collateral if you own one. Then make sure to reward on time respectively time. This will help build your credit and won't cost you deeply much to do so. Someone under 18 is not rightfully bound in a contract and so you will probably enjoy to have someone co-sign for you. This is why inhabitants under 18 cannot win credit cards. Good luck!
Secured credit cards are bad business. Avoid them if at adjectives possible. It looks bad to other creditors.
Start small, similar to a store credit card or a really reputable credit card company like Capital One. Call the card company and explain to them that you are looking to start credit. They will singular be too happy to report you which card to sign up for. They love to sink their claws in fresh meat!
You cannot carry credit until you are 18. It's the law. No one can enter into a allowed and binding contract with anyone not of the trial age of 18 or older.
Be assiduous!
Under the law you must be 18 years frail to own any kind of credit card, debit card, checking tale, savings information, cell phone account, and to lug out loans. The only road you might be able to bring back a credit card is if your mom and dad co-sign for you. Even then it might not affect your credit card because when they co-sign for you, the credit check is run under their first name not yours. When you are 18 you may find it hard to find a credit card until your 20 because you have no credit card history. I tried for 2 years previously I finally got one. Here is something else you might want to know, if you own a cell phone or checking account, it does surrounded by no way build up your credit history, so its an minor factor. It only can count against you if you don't pay packet your sell phone, or overdrawn your sketch and don't pay the mound. Good luck when you become 18.
THE ONLY WAY TO BUILD CREDIT UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS TO HAVE YOUR PARENTS PUT YOUR NAME ON SOMETHING OF THEIRS. IE PHONE BILL, CELL PHONE, GAS AND ELECTRIC...
MY PARENTS HAD THERE GAS AND ELECTRIC IN MY NAME AND MY CREDIT WAS PERFECT WHEN I TURNED 18.
NOBODY WILL GIVE SOME BODY UNDER THE AGE OF 18 A LOAN OR CREDIT CARD...
IT IS THE LAW
You can obtain a card near a parent or legal guardian. They can sign for the card and request one within your name.
No. It is not required that you are 18 if you own a parent cosign.
Here is some additional info. Hope this help.
Credit can be established at anypoint... although you cannot legally assume responsibilty for a debt back you are 18... what does that mean?!?!?!
Well, if your folks incorporate you on to one of their cards as a "co-applicant" the credit card payment history will also be reported to your own credit report... now, assuming that your folks are right with their bills this will not solely help build your credit history, but will hep you to find future credit. Also, this does not suggest that they need to bequeath you a card to use, it simply means that the hobby on the card will mirror onto your own credit file.
A co-applicant is different than an authorized signer. co-ap ties you to the card on the responsibility conclusion. Authorized signer means that you can use the card.
Same can be done for wireless accounts, and other services... as long as they chronicle you as a co-applicant you can begin to build your credit history.
Best of luck and Hope that help...
There are some great programs I just bought that can help out with this. you can find them at www.comingbackstrongfinanciall...
I own even bought the programs for my daughter who just go through a bankruptcy. I significantly recommend them.
Skip the secured cards and unneeded loans. Get a low limit card and bring a cosigner. Get a limit of read out $200 and keep at lowest possible that is positive to pay the bill. charge $20-$50 a month for a year paying surrounded by full monthly.and you should be able to bring the cosigner off and increase the goal. To drop the cosigner you will have to be 18 by later.
where on earth can u buy a prepaid visa credit card and how do u use it?
Question:
.
Answer:
You do not have to use it because it is prepaid.
Go to visa prepaid card.com
You can win one at most banks, and you use it only just like a offering card, everywhere that accepts Visa. You can also put more money on it when you run low.
http://www.goeufora.com/418121496892...
If you are thinking of getting one as a endowment, check with a local edge. They should be able to apply any dollar amount you tender them to it. It should work at any shopping location, just similar to any regular VISA/ Master Card, but with a set dollar cut-off date.
Hope this helps!
Are you conversation about a Visa endowment card? Most banks market them. You can get them for simply about any amount of money that you yearning, and they work just resembling credit cards -- hand the card to the bank clerk when you're ready to buy something and they run it through the electrical device. If you're going to give one as a payment, it's a good hypothesis to tell the party you're giving it to how much the card is worth so they don't get stuck trying to buy something when their bequest card doesn't cover the purchase.
Try http://www.banana-finance.com/ they're about to launch a fully chip n pin prepaid credit card. I judge the article I read said sometime this week.
It certainly beat saving near Fairpack!

The OCC has issued advisories something like these cards with tips for consumers at http://www.occ.treas.gov/ftp/release/200...

Question:
I did get it contained by the mail and they still hold not charged me for the laptop. How long before I can assume the money is mine? Are they ever gonna charge me? What are the law here on legnth of time for charging someone's card??
Answer:
Ok, Well do you perfer to be charged? Haha

dude your sooo lucky , if you want to earnings then you'd stir to apple.com and e mail em
Wow, 4 months. If you want to be honest and adjectives you could call them and I am sure they would be more than predisposed to charge your credit card the way it be supposed to be charged. You could wait and see if they charge it after a faultless amount of time. Really things like that are supposed to be charged similar to within a few days after purchase. Definitely by the time you receive the item anyways.
When a liquidation comes rotten your credit after 10 years, will your credit evaluation increase?
Question:
Answer:
It is 7 years when bankruptcy is removed from your credit report.
But.. you can start to modernize your credit LONG before that time. Capital One will contribute you a credit card shortly after filing liquidation..as does Premier One Bank.. Both can be found online...
Just a side note. I individually know a married woman that filed collapse on her own. Her husband found himself in a finacial crisis a year after that. When they checked each of their credit score, they found Hers to be higher later his. So..long story short.. bankruptcy sometimes is better for your credit rack up then NOT file. He had be working at trying to get hindered..(he was a couple months unsettled on mortgage, car payments and several credit cards)... He be finally able to find someone that would refinance his house so he could attain things back within line...
Yes, and I cogitate it is more like seven years.
Even beside a bankruptcy you can take credit. I just bought a house and a saloon. But I have be a very, thoroughly good girl since later, and got a better errand. No credit cards at all.
I entail similar to $600 in a minute, should i catch a credit card or loan?
Question:
whats better??
Answer:
I have other heard that a wall doesn't like to loan out small amounts close to that, anything less than $3000.00. They can't spawn enough money to assert the risk.

How will paying rotten accounts reported as charge-offs as resourcefully as 3 year weak closed accounts affect my credit?
Question:
Answer:
It will help!
I construe it does have an impact but not as much as you'd believe. The charge offs will still be reflected on your credit report. You should ask the companies to submit a statement to the bureaus that you salaried them off - there's an nouns on credit reports for comments. You should also get a communication from them stating this as well so that you can submit them as proof.
A remunerated charge off is not much better than an unpaid one, so it's other good to negotiate a PFD (pay for delete). Tell the CA that you will settle up the account if they delete it from your credit report. Get it surrounded by writing. Don't believe them when they say they can't do it, it happen every day. 3 yr hoary closed accounts if they were current when closed are ok.
Think of the 7 year rule. Anything elder than 7 years should automatically fall past its sell-by date your credit report. This is a double edged sword - you could discount the past and hope it go away, but it could come back to hide you. Every time that old harmonize is transferred to a new company (debt collectors) it is re-reported. Even if the go together does not get transferred the holding company could still re-report it at any time. Re-reporting make the mark on your credit fresh and starts the 7 year countdown over again. If you salary off the debt they can't re-report it but it does start the 7 year countdown adjectives over. The best solution (if you can) is pay bad everything old and next wait seven years lacking any more mistakes...you will then own perfect credit.
Well if its a charge past its sell-by date that means you did not wages, and it goes against your credit.if you compensated it you can show evidence that you paid sour the account, and it will show you compensated it off and thats shows you made an force and they take that below consideration..Three year old accounts that have not been compensated off, will show on your credit for 7 years,if you salaried them off it will show a well-mannered report and that they have be paid...The bottom chain after 7 years you can clear your credit rating and have the discouraging taken off, however you will hold to request that, usually they will not do it volunterly..Also every time someone checks your credit it will go against you,it tell them that you are trying to get credit and hold failed ,its not virtuous...If you have some suitable credit you need to dance to them and ask them to make a report to the credit bureau on your behalfGood Luck,I know its frozen to get it straight,I own been within and done that
It actually will affect the score negatively for a short period. This is because the system will identify the recent fee to a derogatory account as current gloomy activity. It is one of the heaps flaws in the scoring system.
Here is some auxiliary info. Hope this helps.
How do I attain myself out of debt?
Question:
I am so far in the hole it's not even funny!! please minister to, i'm thinking about getting a second duty!!
Answer:
1.) Assess your total debt, itemize which accounts have which set off and their interest rate
2.) Make a new budget, cut out where on earth you can (salon, lunch dates, expensive x-mas gifts!)
3.) Stop Using Anymore Credit Cards
4.) Call your creditors to see if you can achieve a lower interest rate or settle the debt for a lesser amount
5.) Put more money toware the balance with better interest rate
6.) If you receive an offer for a alien credit card with 0% interest for the lifetime of the loan, verbs your debts to it, so you can pay down your debt faster
7.) Close accounts you can live in need
8.) Do no close all of your credit accounts, this will hurt your credit rating
9.) On your itemized catalogue of account/ balance / interest rate put in to it the amount you plan to pay respectively month and then do an estimated date of when it will be remunerated off by dividing the match by your payment (less interest of course). Then you can start to see the wispy at the end of the tunnel.
10.) Learn to report to yourself NO!
Good Luck! You can do it.
cut up all your existing credit cards and consolidate them to the lowest interest rate one that you can find later cut that card up until it is paid for
First step is to cut up adjectives credit cards! Then getting a second job is NOT a discouraging idea.
Leave the country for 6 years
A 2nd situation is a great idea... but the first step is to stop spending immediately.
If you use credit cards, stop. If you have more than one, cut them adjectives up except one. See if you can consolidate your balances into the remaining card - save, then only pay them bad as quickly as you can.
Stop adjectives luxury spending. No fancy food, no movies, no vacations. Brownbag your lunch.
Throw ALL offer for increased credit in the trash.
dutiful luck (it's tough, no doubt, but you can do it!!)
Quit your mission. File bankruptcy. Sell everything you own and become a bum and live bad the land. lol I'd love to do that.
It's not going to begin over night. If you realize that, you hold taken the first step to get rid of pesky annoying debt. First you requirement to consolidate your debt, usually be taking out a bank loan to take-home pay off your credit cards. Credit cards are usually the heart of the problem. To recompense off 27 percent montly interest, you running out up just salary off the interest and not the loan. A edge loan is usually about 6 to 8 percent depending on your credit history, your assets, and you history of paying past its sell-by date debts. Right now steal a deep breathe and sweat it out for three years until you achieve some balance again. Cut those credit cards and try to live on the cheap until things obtain better. Good luck, it isn't easy.
If possible catch a consolidation loan and pay bad the high interest credit cards. Then hail as each company and dissolve the account so you can no longer use it. The second duty may also be needed to pay the consolidation loan-especially if you settle up more than the minimum each month to cut back on the balance more swiftly. It may also mean doing lacking some of the extras you have gotten used to. You hold to learn to influence "I can't afford this" and live more simply until the debt is reduced.
Step one: Put together a budget - find out how much money is coming into your household and how much money is going out. This will help you determine your debt to income ratio (for every dollar you earn how various pennies go toward bills)
Step three: Once you know how much money you enjoy coming into your household you can determine what amount you can put toward paying down debt. If you earn $1200 in a month and you enjoy $800 in expenses you can repay $400 toward debt. Now, even though you can commit the entire $400 to your debt it would be wise to also start good some of that money and putting it into a savings explanation. This way should a subjective expense come up, you have something to draw from to discharge it off lacking turning toward credit.
Step three: Trim the fat. Start eliminate expenses that are over the top or excessive. Turn fans and lights sour when you go to work. Try a carpool to hide away on gas for work. Dont dine out as often and get through in.
Step four: create a practical timeline - sort terms that you can stick to and stick to them! create and live by your wonderful monthly budget, before you know it your debt will start melt away.
Step five: Extra cash. If you can pick up fragment time work, or better yet, turn your hobby into work that pays - (speak spanish? tutor someone, similar to yard work - mow someones lawn) seem lame, but you'll be surprised the way you can put together a couple extra bucks. Here is a little tried one - ask for a incline. (when asking for a raise I other give this counsel - be prepared to ask for what you are worth, and then be prepared to earn what you ask for!).
Step six: once you are close to paying rotten your debts, continue to live bad the same budget, single now instead of paying your bills past its sell-by date - throw all that extra dosh into your savings report, and start building a nice little nest egg.
See, it wansnt that tough, all it take is self control, determination, and time.

I just this minute found my credit ranking have dropped due to too several inquiries-does anybody know what the restrict is?
Question:
Answer:
Let me clarify something, because there is profoundly of misconception out there. There are two types of "inquiries" soft verbs and hard verbs.
A soft pull is when a guard surface scans your report to convey you promotional offers and other twaddle (pre-approval for loans, credit cards, insurance etc). These "soft pulls" of your report are not calculated into the math that comes up with your credit rack up
The other type of inquiry is called a "sturdy pull" or a true INQUIRY. This is when your entire report is pulled by an agency in lay down to determine whether or not to grant you credit. ie, applying for a motor loan or looking to refinance your home. These HARD PULLS negatively affect your credit because they indicate that you are looking to aquire new debt. you are looking to appropriate on an additional finacial burden (a unusual credit card, a car loan, etc.) If you own several pulls that are spread out over time with no NEW accounts person issued then it appears that you are frantically trying to get credit and because no one have granted you credit yet, that you may infact be a risk... this puts your evaluation lower.
Your creditor score is nought more than asessment of risk. It is a quick opening for creditors to determine if they will get their money posterior from you.
Any time there is hobby on your accounts it affects this number. You would be surprised to see how often your mark will fluctuate... From month to month most people's scores beside go up or down a few points.
One mode to limit the impairment of a HARD PULL inquiry is to do all of your inquiring in a 2 week timeframe. You can hold 4 or 5 HARD PULLS in a 2 week term and it will only affect your gain as if you had 1 HARD PULL.
I hope that clears things up. Oh, an extra thing - you pulling your report, have ABSOLUTELY no affect on your credit score- it is a stupid myth like "cola dissolves steak."
For more information you can be in motion to Fair Isaacs and Company (FICO as in FICO score)
There isn't a so-called cut back. Every hit will drop your score, so the more hits you enjoy, the more your score drops. The one and only exception is mortgage lenders and auto loan companies that hit your report within a 15 daytime time frame. You can have 15 sports car companies look at your credit within 10 days of one another, and it with the sole purpose counts as one hit!
I don't think that there's a put a ceiling on. Maybe one or two inquiries aren't bad, but if you enjoy a lot, it give off the general idea that you're applying all over the place and contained by an effort to save you from over extending yourself, your credit score drops so that you won't be approved for everything.
Check the inquiries and if here are any that weren't initiated by you, then dispute them. Sometimes, credit companies put together inquiries when they want to increase your limit and although these should hold no impact on your score, mistakes can come up.
usually you can can have 3 in 12 months without it affecting your credit. Also - KL (above) is intensely very wrong...I don't know where on earth that info came from.
Every time your credit is pulled, you lose a few points sour your score. Typically they say aloud you shouldn't have it pulled more than 3 times within a month.
Here's a link that might be positive.

My mother is a mortgage broker and she has also told me almost the "15 days" of searching for a mortgage. She said the sense for this is because you are shopping around for the best deal, and credit companies think through that. If you're looking for a car to nouns, you're not just going to appropriate the first finance set aside you get, you'll shop around a bit. To filch this into consideration, they count it as just one "hit".
Each one will affect your evaluation.

credit rating?
Question:
my credit rating is really bad and am finding it really complicated to get a loan my lone option is to achieve one of the likes of yes loans and places similar to that do you know which one would be the best?? i need one of one desperate for xmas lend a hand.
Answer:
http://www.topherreimroc.com/fixmycredit...
-If you can't get the loan, here's a site that can give a hand you fix your credit in a simple, undemanding, and most importantly free form. Taking 5 minutes to fill out this form could amass you hundreds of dollars. It helped me individually get away from my unpromising credit; I highly recommend it.
Every thought of appying for a property one card. my friend mum did and got one and shes on benefits
if your credit is discouraging i wouldnt even try and get a loan...due to thats more money you enjoy to owe better to pay past its sell-by date your bills ..instead of adding on or find it fixed threw a law firm
Well a loan to capture you through Christmas is not a brilliant Idea.
Explain to your friends and relations that you're financies are not good right immediately.
Sell a few items or do a car boot mart to sell of any behind the times junk you no longer have need of. If your credit rating is so bad, why borrow money again?
Buy what ethnic group want and not what you think they might want, and release money by offering a service to relatives for presents, offer a rub or wash up for them, or submit to wash their cars for 3 months.
Borrowing sucks!
Good luck my friend.
my credit rating is shite as all right.i won't be buying many presents this year,as i can't afford it any.best thing to do is not bother next to a loan, just explain to household and friends that you're not able to afford presents this year.if you try for a loan, consequently you're just gonna be paying it rear legs for god knows how long and own nothing to show for it yourself.that's the trouble beside christmas, people freshly feel lower than pressure to spend money they haven't got of late to keep others thankful.
My advice would be to not bring yourself into any more debt - especially for Christmas gifts, its just not worth it. Try going to the Citizens Advice for information/guidance to support you out of debt. Take care :-)
Maybe you should have a chat to your bank. Get them to look at your income and outgoings, do a consolidation loan to wage off the credit cards and any other loans and trademark it over a longer period to generate it more manageable. Their are in a minute a few credit companies that advertise on TV that will arrange this for you. "Yes Loans" will grant you the loan against your house but at a high rate of interest.
Good luck and hope you win sorted.
Getting a loan for Xmas is a bad belief as a whole. If your credit mark is bad because you're over your leader in debt, getting a loan will just make it worse! If your gain is low becasue you've recently remunerated off adjectives your debts and you're awaiting your score to turn up, a loan is still a bad opinion. People, especially reatives, will understand if you enjoy had a knotty time or a bad year. Go to your supermarket and buy cookie dough, brownie mix, cake/cupcake mixes...drop a fraction of what you would enjoy spent for gifts and physically make something as a contribution!! Who would say no to a giant box of homemade cookies?? Bake something for your mom or conceivably give her a handmade offering certificate for 12 dinners that you will cook for her. Tell them you'll gross it up next year. And if they obtain upset...they are not only NOT perfect family/friends, they are forgetting what Christmas is about. If they are stuck on the things items, then anything you got them this year probably wouldn't be right enough anyway.
if u are truly desperate provident will do loans , but it is an extremely dignified rate of interest and u pay them subsidise weekly at a fairly low amount .This is one and only if desperate , personally i wouldnt recommend it
