lost tracking number?
Question:
i lost my usps tracking number and need it to variety a credit dispute what do i do
i called and they said i be out of luck :(
Answer:
You are probably out of luck unless it was sent by registered post. You're only other recourse is to turn to the post office where on earth you mailed it and conduct yourself very contrite. If you know the exact date and approximate time it be mailed, and the fastener code of the adressee, a postal supervisor might be able to restructure the records. It's a time consuming process for them and not something they are required to do. Be polite!
You are out of luck. Sorry
If you don't enjoy the green slip with the tracking number, and you don't own the cash register reception, the only other place that number is printed on is the envelope itself.
That's why keeping that slip is so critical! Now you have to jump through the process again, or hope they admit to unloading it.

I've have my card for 7 months so why dont I hold a credit history however??
Question:
I have a funds one for 7 months. ive been turned down for everything cars, cards, etc.. the justification is no credit history. I tried to get a credit report they right to be heard my info is not the same as on database I have to sent surrounded by copies of ss card i.d. proof of residence. I pay the bill so why isnt within history??
Answer:
One reason you could not own credit yet is that Capital One hasnt reported to the bureaus even so or they are reporting to one and not the other two. Credit card companies are not required to report credit history to all 3 bureaus, they can pick and choose which one they want to report to. If you are applying for something, they could be using the bureau that Cap One isnt reporting to.
Another common sense is that it sometimes take a longer time for newer accounts to report to the bureaus as the companies are waiting for apposite payment history to appear.
Check to label sure that CapOne and the Credit Bureaus have impossible to tell apart information for you (address, bday, etc). It may be that CapOne is reporting your history, but the credit bureau can't match or, or a short time ago that CapOne isn't reporting it. Call CapOne to make sure they are reporting your chalk up as well.
Seven months isn't a deeply long time when dealing with credit. Usually, a credit report lower than 2 years can be considered immature, especially if the credit put a ceiling on is low. The credit bureaus only update their information every 3-6 months, so it might own not even shown up yet. Are you trying http://www.annualcreditreport.com... ?
Call the CC company. It should be reporting, and if it's your single account, your match has stayed low & you don't own any negative history, you should be ably within the 600's by presently. Definitely contact the CC company to find out what's going on!
The problem is - you are dealing with Cap One.
Cap One "does not" report credit restrictions, they only report the high-ranking balance. Because of that, they will not aid your credit scores, surrounded by fact they are probably hurting them.
By not reporting a credit boundary, and only showing a giant balance, it looks approaching you are at 100% utilization on the account.
It's not with the sole purpose you that they are doing this to - it's everyone who has a card next to them. And, they "will not" report your credit limit if you ask them to. (the pinheads)
It's a pity and I hope they end up getting sued over it someday.
If you don't qualify for a regular card, you would be better bad getting a secured card from a different card company. Such as Bank of America, Orchard Bank or HSBC.
If I payoff adjectives my credit card debt how several points will it lift up my credit evaluation? IsNo revolving credit fruitless?
Question:
Answer:
if you close all accounts it will lower your mark, leave at lowest possible one open.
It will lug time. I'd suggest talking to a Certfied Financial Planner. Here's a tip - cut the cards, and don't spend more than you earn respectively month. If you want a credit card for convenience and to build your credit - you have to be capable of pay it rotten every month to really get a moral credit score.
Well, to be exact the real trick. I own learned alot almost credit scores contained by the past ten years, i will share next to you what my personal experiances are. First thing, I own never recieved good credit from a credit card (such as mastercard, or visa.. ect.) the relations who hold your debt (the bank the card is base from) I have have over twenty cards, and never had positive credit disappeared. I wondered why so I called adjectives the companys up. they told me that they do not report to the credit burueas unless the card is not paid, next they report a negitive report. The best way to go and get your credit brought up is bank loans, or revolving accounts next to utilitie companys (such as verizon wireless, or MDU). Then the account have to be open for at lowest 6 months, and the point scale is base upon how long and how consistant you make your payments. If you hold a credit judgment against you it probaly already decrease 40 points off your credit, and wii remain on your credit until you reward it off. I hope this help!
You can't really make a direct addition about how much it will in truth raise your chalk up, but depending on your income to debt ratio and the number of cards you have, it will most expected raise it some, more if you are exceptionally deeply surrounded by debt compared to your income.
You need to maintain one or two of them open and get your monthly payments on time, to keep hold of a monthly payment and tradeline history going. This will bump up your score. Paying them adjectives off can lower your score. Just keep them economically below the limit, but hold a balance going on them. You can't enjoy too much credit, but you can have too much debt.
you should income off as much as you can 35% of your credit mark is based on how much of your credit you use (lenders approaching to see less than 40%... within other words, if you have a card near a $1000 limit, preserve your balance at $400 or less)... but hold on to your accounts open, because 15% of your credit mark is based on the longevity of your accounts... and on your elder accounts, use the cards every once in a while (make a purchase at least possible once every six months) or the credit card company may report that your card is inactive, which could hurt your credit gain... paying off everything will own a positive effect on your credit score, but I could not influence how much your score would move about up I have hear of someone whose score increased 50 points within six months after she paid stale all her accounts
If you rate them all bad, your score will increase.
Fair Isaac and Company (F.I.C.O) is the just company that that calculate how much (accurately).
If you close the accounts it will hurt your credit.
Here is a obedient article about credit score: http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/cred...
Browse through the rest of the site for other information regarding credit.
There's no exact answer since your credit gain is formulated on many variables. Reducing the amount of debt compared to the amount of available credit will increase your win. Over time, if you continue the fitting pattern, your evaluation will keep increasing.
Can I assum that none of these credit card debts are currently delinquent? If so, that's a differant problem.
But collectively, you don't want to pay bad your credit card completely. They like to see you hold it to 25% of the credit parameter or lower.
Revolving charge cards are (espcially the larger bank cards resembling Chase or Bank Of America) are excellent.

Has anybody have any experience next to a flawless credit repair company?
Question:
if you did..let me know what they did to fix your credit and how much they charged you...thanx
Answer:
This is not single in response to your press, its also responding to the previous un-educated answers prior to this.
You must read the entire article to fully understand "Credit Repair" and the credit bureaus.
Here is an article from: http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/...
May evolution the mind of a few of you sceptics out there:
LET'S BEGIN near a startling notion:
The Credit Bureaus don't want you to read this.
Why? Probably because those agencies, along with the much larger bank institutions which depend upon them, desperately need consumers to buy into a few oft-told myths which see their respective businesses. Unfortunately, though, not knowing the truth can cost a consumer tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars during an average lifetime.
Where credit bureaus are concerned, there are essentially two sets of "truths." On the one foot, there is the impartially meaningless happy drumbeat they want you to believe, which you can find repeated in a moment ago about every credit-related book and Internet site. And consequently, of course, there's the solid truth which I'll shortly elucidate.
Unfortunately, surrounded by order to truly embrace stark actuality we must first peruse the prevailing fiction. So we'll examine both here. This article will aim to demolish the social psychosis perpetuated by companies approaching Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion and transport you to a veritable Valhalla of consumer mental health. Even better, perchance you'll end up in your favour a few bucks too.
Psychosis #1:
There are three official credit bureaus, and these beloved and imperative American institutions maintain accurate archives regarding the financial lives of every grown citizen.
There's so much wrong with practically every word of this a game that it's tough for a consumer advocate to know where on earth to begin.
First, the so-called "big three" consumer reporting agencies next to which most Americans are familiar < Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion < truly want consumers to believe that they've respectively been blessed next to a sanctioned franchise. Actually, the only grounds such corporate behemoths now dominate the improve is because their progenitors simply managed to swallow up respectively other as they battled for preeminence through the decades. Greed, not prescribed dictum, paved their track. Suffice to say near is hardly anything "beloved" almost these privacy-busting companies.
Moreover, there are indeed other, newer, credit bureaus on the horizon (with name like Innovis, Lakeside, and NCTDE) which hope to eventually eclipse today's main players. In fact, anybody who so desired could start their own credit reporting agency, collect personal information give or take a few their friends and neighbors, and then attempt to provide that data to whoever would be snooping enough to purchase it. Sure, federal canon puts limits upon what can be reported and to whom, but zilch bars any one of us from entering the pen outright regardless.
So contrary to the prevailing perceptual reality, here are no official bureaus. And while most Americans perceive their credit reports to hold at least like peas in a pod legal standing as their driving history, the truth is that the government have no role in establishing the for-profit companies which produce them. Put bluntly, no ruling mandates a credit report's existence, and such documents deserve as much respect as "The Weekly World News" supermarket tabloid or any other similarly unproven inventory of allegations.
And what about the "accurate records" impression? Every serious study to date has reach the same conclusion: Credit reports are simply rife near errors.
Psychosis #2:
Potential creditors, insurers, and employers painstakingly review consumer files to help them qualify applicants.
That used to be true.
Once upon a time contained by America, if you applied for a credit account anywhere, a bookkeeper surrounded by some dusty back room requested a credit report from your local bureau. In certainty, in those heady days earlier the corporate titans took over, all credit bureaus be local. Then every line of your wallet would be assessed, and if there be a problem, you might be telephoned or call in for more discussion. Lo, you might even be asked for a personal pledge attesting to your responsible intentions. Then a result would be rendered, usually, but not always, surrounded by your favor.
The problem with that business model is that it isn't severely scalable. Scouring an individual's credit report takes time, and it also take skilled (with any luck, that is) human beings to render careful judgment. Unfortunately for fair management, that's just not acceptable if you want to extend credit to hundreds of thousands or even millions of people on a national amount. Automation, of course, must let go the day, and technology hasn't but allowed that to include an individualized reading and analysis of everybody's credit reports.
That's where the credit win comes into play. A seemingly wonderful solution, credit scores in fact introduce a boatload of other new problems: click here to access our Credit Insider article which suggests that the prevalent credit scoring system may very well be illegal and ought to be scrap.
So quash Psychosis #2 here and now. Of course the credit bureaus want consumers to believe that things haven't changed, that time is as quaint as it be decades ago, and that people in truth pay attention to the report itself fairly than just a glorified number. In certainty, the bureaus need consumers to believe that, which take us to our next bit of consumer psychopathology:
Psychosis #3:
If a consumer disagrees near an item on a credit report, she can request that a 100-word statement be inserted which will provide balance to the database.
What sheep they believe us to be. In the early 1970s when the Fair Credit Reporting Act first give Americans the right to include such statements on their reports, life be different. Prospective creditors still actually perused consumer files next to authentic human eyeballs. (Read Psychosis #2.) So in those halcyon days of yore, a plaintive comment placed contained by the report by the consumer herself might have made a difference at mortgage time.
No more.
Nowadays the 100-word statements can single harm the consumer. First, as we've discussed, such personal statements are essentially never read by potential creditors anyway since the credit win is the usual qualifying determinant. Second, those statements one and only make it more difficult to embark upon a credit repair hard work later because they serve to confirm what's already here. So, for example, let's say a consumer attaches a statement that read something like this: "These overdue payments were made solitary because I was suddenly let go (or sick), but that unfortunate situation changed deeply quickly, and we own never been behind schedule with this or any other justification since." That may sound responsible, but undesirably it says with the sole purpose this in truth: "NOTE: yes I really was belated paying these accounts. Plus I'm not smart enough to hold an emergency fund to cover basic minimum payments if something go wrong financially. Therefore, I am a bad credit risk."
Even worse, let's voice a consumer subsequently learns something in the order of credit reporting and decides to occupy Lexington Law Firm to help confront things rightfully and technically. Whoops. The credit bureau is going to dismiss any new goad even faster than it would have in the past because there's no need to even hold another look: After all, it's right in attendance in the consumer's statement which admit fault. Remember that extenuating robustness or employment circumstances are viewed as little more than lame excuses to these cold corporate entities anyway.
Most consumer suggest old-timers will advise that the first items to be disputed are those silly 100 word statements if any be ever inserted. The Credit Insider heartily concurs with that philosophy.
Psychosis #4:
Negative items must remain on reports for seven years (or ten years for ruin tradelines).
That's sheer and utter balderdash. Even so, consumers hear it every day when they handset creditors directly: "Sorry, by law that have to remain on your report for seven years." The next time you hear that, know this: The automaton posing as a customer service representative is any spreading lies or ignorance, neither of which is good for your fiscal or mental form.
Sure, the bureaus want consumers to believe the lie because they own based their business plans upon reporting nasties to their subscribers, and they don't want to run out of them. The truth, though, is that nobody is required to report anything nearly any of us for any minimum length of time to anybody else. Put bluntly, relevant laws similar to the Fair Credit Reporting Act only serve to place LIMITS upon how consumer reporting agencies can and cannot behave.
Psychosis #5:
By definition, helping someone else to straighten out their erroneous credit reports violate the law.
Such statements are the most insidious and sickest lies of adjectives. In fact, this is the amazingly same psychology a predator uses with his martyr: "Here, I'm abusing you, but follow my rules. You can't sermon to others about it. You can't ask for assistance. If you do request or receive help from someone else, you'll merely suffer more damage surrounded by the long run. Keep to yourself. Remember that I'll tell lies roughly you if I wish. And if you hold any problem with any of this, speak single to me about it."
The facts cut straight to our constitutional citizenship: All of us hold a fundamental right to legal representation. Whenever we are accuse of anything, whether that accusation appears within the newspaper, on a rap sheet, on a credit report, or anywhere else, we are guaranteed the right to request assistance next to both understanding and defending against such allegations.
Credit bureaus occasionally (and vaguely) suggest that using a third-party violate some law. Sometimes, they'll transport a letter to consumers who hold challenged one or more items on their reports that unsophisticatedly accuses them of have sought outside assistance with the problem. Note that they never in actuality come out and say plainly, "Using outside counsel is against the decree," because it isn't. Instead they simply invite the consumer to write back and deny the charge or to verbs the third-party somehow in some unnamed wrongdoing. The specific wrongdoing is never spelled out, obviously, but the effect is the same: The credit bureaus, by donning the cloak of artificial officialdom, hope to intimidate consumers into finance down and getting right back into procession with adjectives the other quiet those who are afraid to challenge their faux authority. Lexington clients are instructed to simply dispatch such letters to the firm, but even those attempting to confront their credit reports on their own are economically advised to simply rebuke such provocations.
So long as consumers can be managed through skilled con, credit bureaus will continue to one-sidedly profit at our expense. Reified credit scores will verbs to define our suitability for home ownership. Credit achievement, insurance, and employment will continue to be lost as a result of sloppy notes maintenance. Fundamental change will only come to pass when consumers reject these untruths which are propagated so successfully within our culture.
Repairing Credit Yourself
The Fair Credit Reporting Act give you the right to dispute any and all items on your credit reports that you perceive classify as inaccurate, unverifiable, or misleading. If the bureaus can not verify that the information on your reports is indeed correct, consequently those items must be deleted.
Disputing items on your credit report is confident. Getting results from the credit bureaus is amazingly difficult, complex, and infuriating. It is not a coincidence that the Federal Trade Commission receives more complaints against credit bureaus than any other type of business. Remember, the credit bureaus are primarily interested surrounded by protecting their profits. Investigating your challenge consumes these profits. Short of sparking a mass number of lawsuits, the credit bureaus give the impression of being to do everything in their power to discourage consumers from making progress within their restoration efforts.
Restoring your own credit is resembling repairing your own transmission or representing yourself a court of imperative; it is possible, but you must decide if you are inclined to take the time and assume the risks of doing it yourself.
I own two reccommendations:
Do it yourself, here is a free credit repair kit (e-Book and 20 free downloadable letters)
http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/free...

They are members of the BBB.
The utensils is free, no BS, no $, not even an email address is required.
They charge a very defensible fee for the full service and do the work within advance of getting remunerated!
They comply with the Fair Credit Repair Organizations Act and adjectives Federal Laws governing the industry.
They are not a scam and did a good undertaking for many general public I know.
A final Note: Deleting negative credit is individual part of repairing your credit, paying bad debt, adding positive credit and maintain your credit is all cut of repairing your credit.
The company mentioned above: Credit Assist Network helps you beside all aspects of repairing your credit.
They are adjectives ripoffs.
Basically they write the credit agencies, and challenege everything on your credit report. If the reporting agency is unable to verify any module of the report then that factor comes off. Then you hope that the those who put the dings on your report just don't answer their correspondence.
However, this is a game that go back 20+ years. Everyone know the game. The credit card companies, bank, collection companies, etc are all primed to instantly answer any challenges.
Sooo... presently that you know the game, you could simply try it yourself. Other than that, you could try simply to PAY YOUR BILLS. If you've rewarded those bills, simply attach explainations telling adjectives would-be creditors what happened to receive you in trouble.
Credit repair is the hottest scam perpetrated to the broad public. I speak from experience. Dont believe all those tv ad, it doesnt work. The honest ones(few) are doing something you can do more effectively. They are simply setting up payment plans next to creditors and collection agencys..and charging alot for that. Creditors get pissed stale when a third party is introduced. Do this yourself, its simple and you own leverage.
what can you do if you judge the ridge have not applied you loan payments?
Question:
loan was taken out a year ago and i hold paid 171,00 for a year and my set off about matching as when i took out my loan the inerest is 14.9 the loan amount was 4498.36,i still owe 3864.46,
Answer:
Request a statement of sketch. All transactions will be listed.
That sounds right to me. 14.9 percent interest is high-ranking, so I can believe that you still owe $4498. Remember, at the beginning of your loan you wage more interest than principal.
Where have you be sending your payment? Have they be crediting another loan? Don't you put your loan number on the check, verify monthly the payment be made? I suggest you make an appointment beside someone soon and bring in your cancelled checks and adjectives your loan documentation.
How can I find out exactly when the seven years of distrustful info begin?
Question:
I have some refusal credit acounts that are about seven years elderly. I lost my job and become ill at the time and couldnt maintain up.The problem is that I dont know exactly when the seven years began. I know that the seven years begin from the date the item was first reported deliquent, but my credit report doesnt show that date. It singular shows the date opened. Some of the accounts enjoy gone to collection agencies. Should I try to ask them? Would they have that info even if the debt be sold to more than one collection agency? Should I ask the credit buereau?
Thank you.
Answer:
Ignore the goofball who told you the 7 years starts when you payoff the account, i.e. wrong. In fact it is 7 years from when the cynical event took place whether it is a late payment or a write off.
A complete credit report from the credit bureau will show the date of any gloomy items. If the date is incorrect you can dispute it.
Never ask a collector anything, they have no interest surrounded by helping you and often try to bring back you to send them even a partial sum which will allow them to re-age your account so it shows up for ANOTHER 7 years on your credit report.
Often collectors will try to collect on debt that is to say so old that it is beyond the statute of limitations for your state and is officially unenforceble debt.
The seven years will begin when they are remunerated off. That is right - the seven year process have not even started yet because the debts are still not compensated.
To prevent this - negotiate a settlement with the delinquent accounts. Agree to wage the debts only if they agree to clear your diary. Get this in writing! Once you own something in writing - preferably on their letterhead - wage the debts for what ever amount you agreed upon. Remind the people that if you own to file for ruin - they won't get any money. If you procure a letter within writing from the company and they don't clean your transcript, you can report them to the credit bureaus. But most likely that wouldn't start if they did send a signed epistle on their letterhead.
You will have to be a bit forceful and you stick to your guns. But keep it up with this. No sense paying the debts stale if you can't try and negotiate a clean story in the process.
Good luck.
I'm sorry, but lingua04 is incorrect. I process mortgage loans and settlement with credit every daytime. Collections do fall stale of your credit, 7 years from the date of last commotion. They fall rotten rather they are compensated or not. If you pay them in a minute, it starts another 7 years showing as a paid collection. If you are effective 7 years, better to wait for them to slop off. Bankruptcies & judgements stay on for 10 years. Tax liens & Gov. judgements are the solely things that don't come off until compensated.
