Can a company distribute my side to collection if I'm paying something on it?

Question:
I'm paying $50 dollars a month on a doctor bill I have. They've made it clear they don't want a money plan, they want their money now. Well I can't do that, I'll settle up $50/month until it's paid rotten.

Can this company turn my account over to a collection agency even if I'm making payments on it?

Answer:
Sure they can, since it's not a mutual agreed installment plan. They are losing money on the interest; credit card companies charge empire like 20% APY, why should they donate you a free loan?

Say you own them $5,000, and instead of paying all within once, you pay $50 respectively month; assuming 6% APR, they will lose roughly $1700 in interest after 100 month when you finally take-home pay off your bill.
if your sending anything later if they did would be rediculas

like near home forclorsures cost a mimum of 40,000 for a bank to repo going to a collection agency isnt cheap any nor free so its a threat call and try to work beside them be honest and see what they can do
Unfortunately, if you are past the deadline down on their invoice (which for a doctor or other medical bill is usually "payable on receipt"), they can send your report to collection. Be aware that there are state and federal statutes limiting what the creditor or collection agency can do to go and get people to money.
They can, which is stupid because then they lose money to the collection agency which get some of the collected money for their service. Anyway, if they do, keep paying to the collection agency, you'll take it paid bad. Not a smart move by your dr, and I would find another dr btw.
Yes, they can. However, it does not always jump on your credit report. When the account have been hand over, ask the company what their policy is. I recently have an account that I be paying off as agreed beside the service company. Suddenly, I began delivery bills from a collection agency. I called both companies to verify. It be legit.
They shouldn't, they should be happy you're even paying that much! Whether or not they can, I suppose if they really want to be assholes and grasp killed near word of mouth (meaning, you inform people you know how you've be treated by this particular office) they could distribute you to collections. Which is kinda stupid on behalf of the doc's office because most collection agencies will work out some sort of clearance plan with you.
If you are sending them any type of money and they accept it (deposit it), next I don't think so. You are making a flawless faith crack to take watchfulness of your bill. Now they may continue to name you insisting on full payment, but if they adopt every payment the threat is hollow.

But don't miss a allowance!
Yes they can but they show it as slow pay! BUT don 't miss making a pocket money,Then they can take you to court, As long as you construct a payment and they adopt it,you are in apposite shape and all they will do is try to terrify you into paying it off swiftly. Just remember there is no paupers prison,!
I CANT BELIEVE THEY WONT TAKE PAYMENTS..BUT AS LONG AS YOU PAY SOMETHING ON IT EVERY MONTH IN GOOD FAITH IT SHOULDNT HURT YOUR GREDIT TOO BAD.COLLECTION AGECYS ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT PAY AT ALL.....
Yes, they can. Since you did not enter into any type of clearance agreement with them (b/c you cannot do the lump sum), you are technically surrounded by breach of your original contract. At that point, they can distribute the account to collections.

If you be a telemarketer, how would you try to provide a credit card near an APR of 23.9%?

Question:

Answer:
The best way to makert somethign similar to that is to family with poor credit or no credit.
Most ethnic group however with chew over the rate is to high.
I would with the sole purpose call impressively dumb people
If I be that guy I would kill myself instead of trying to produce everyone else miserable!
no way
uhmmm phone call the district with the poorer folks most of them will sign anything for cash..
Call college kids and get rid of them on the fact that it's THEIR card, so they don't enjoy to explain their purchases to their parents. Push the 'financial freedom' aspect and tell them that that considerate of APR is normal for 'first time card owners'.
Hi! This is ______ from ______ credit cards. I see that you just this minute applied for a credit card. At this time I am able to hold out you _________ with a starting credit bound of ______.
Now because of your credit score, your APR will be 26%, but at this time I am competent to offer you a special rate of 23.9%

make the acquaintance of to the sales business, it is a rough ride, but okay worth the $$$$
If there be no upside then I doubt you would vend very various but if there are upsides to the card consequently I would definitely push them next only briefly mention the 23.9 and hope that your customer is almost out of business. Or deaf, blind and rich.
Yeah, that's gonna be a hard flog. I'm guessing only culture with extremely low credit score would even consider it since they have a thorny time getting anything less than 29% interest. Otherwise, the card better be offering something else--a illustrious number of frequent flyer miles or something. Otherwise, there are method too many cards out at hand offering 0% interest for a year, etc., to bother applying for ones that already almost 24%.
People with unpromising credit that have be turned down other places will sign up in a heartbeat so they can start re-establishing their credit.

Can you lease a motor near no money down + unpromising credit?

Question:

Answer:
Sure you can.

There are a lot of dutiful deals out in attendance right now on lease.

Actually it's easier to get someone approved on a lease near bad credit than it is on a purchase.
Based on that info the ending thing you stipulation to do is lease a car.
You can but essentially they will tell you that you stipulation to pay "taxes" and other fees, so you wrapping up up putting about 1k down no thing what.
I'm sure the interest will be amazingly high if you can
It'll be firm - but you can probably do it. The interest rates will be incredibly high, as powerfully as your monthly payments. Your best bet is to find someone with accurate credit that is of a mind to co-sign for your car. Like a parent or grandparent.
No, if you hold bad credit they will require a heafty down reward.

Foreclosure on a credit report?

Question:
how much would a score drop

Answer:
This is a rock-hard question to answer near any kind of meticulousness due to the complexity of credit scores.

If your credit record is long with several lines of suitable credit it will not take effective the hit that it would if your file be short and this was one of the solely major lines of credit you have..

In general, anywhere from 50-100 points depending on your credit profile.
I'm not sure how much your score would drop, but a foreclosure is one of the worst things to own on your credit. Not to mention you will not be able to dig up another home loan for at least 7 years.
HOW MUCH IT WILL DROP IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS RAISING THE SCORE -INQUIRE INTO CREDIT REPAIR, BUT, WITH VERY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS. USE ONLY THOSE FIRMS THAT HAVE APPROVAL, ONLY FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, THAT'S RIGHT, THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE(VERY DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN). BUT,THESE ARE THE ONLY FIRMS THAT CAN LEGALLY CALL THEMSELVES CREDIT REPAIR FIRMS.
Your credit evaluation is generated from a software, algebraic algorithm that was created by Fair Isaac and Company. Only they could let somebody know you (which they won't) but if you're going through Foreclosure you will be able to narrate soon enough (not trying to intentionally be rude). There are some things you can assume resembling, you will have a tricky time obtaining new credit for awhile.
expect your score to be 500 or smaller quantity. (poor)

Within a year of perfect payments....you may expect to see a rise of in the order of 50-60 points.

DO NOT OPEN ANY NEW ACCOUNTS, UNLESS IT IS A SECURED CARD. Orchard Bank adn welsl fargo has worthy secured cards you can apply for to help reform quickly.Good luck.
Two ways.

The tardy payments leading up to the foreclosure will unquestionably drag down the credit score. The actual foreclosure will own a bit of an impact but most of the damage is done.

Second you will enjoy a foreclosure. It is a public action. it will dangle around for 7 years. Even if your score is OK the foreclosure is a flag to lenders that you will skip payments on a mortgage. Put a different opening a foreclosure can scare bad more lenders than the score. Lenders hold criteria and the credit score is not the just factor they measure formerly deciding.

Best is to find a mode out of the problem. A common mistake borrowers gross it to wait too long. If you can not hold on to up with the transmittal then bail out by selling or otherwise finding a process to get the loan remunerated off. A subject-to do business can also be OK if the investor makes adjectives the payments as promised.

My friend just received his statement for a credit card which he did not income for 5 years due to financial difficulties. The last due 5 years ago be about 5k, presently it stands at 16k. Now tell me is credit card a apposite option to land quick dosh?

Answer:
Depends. If, like some of my cards, you can obtain an advance at a fixed rate of 4% for the natural life of the balance, I would do it. But it's not devout to do if you don't show fiscal responsibility and pay your bills.
I give attention to credit cards are stupid and have not and will not ever own one. I have done fine for 46 years. By charging adjectives you do is make the credit card company rich.
No, your friend is screwed. His credit rating is trashed until he resolves what he owes or declare bankruptcy. In any event, he most promising will find it impossible to borrow money, get a motor loan, a house mortgage or a decent brief until he makes it right.

Question:
I don't have an overdraft, but money can still run out and if not replenished lead to a charge. So if it can just fly out when i don't own it, how is internet card fraud prevented? They could take out eternal amounts of my money and leave me beside bills surely...

Answer:
Unfortunately, this is one of the downsides of instant access to our money electronically 24/7.

Typically your bank would work next to you, if fraud is proven.

But that would also mean possibly them freezing your explanation, and eventually closing your account after they drop the charges rotten your account.

I alwsay insist on people to use a "prepaid" rechargeable credit card for online purchase, and also for use surrounded by restaurants.
You should only use your debit card for transactions at an ATM, to issue your fraud exposure. Good luck.

Credit problems, solved by disputing them?

Question:
I have some collections and charge-offs on my credit report from between 4-5 years ago. There are a few that look approaching duplicates. I heard that if I settle up all of it stale then it will stay on my report for 7 years anyway. Should I basically dispute every item on my credit report and hope it goes away? The total is roughly speaking $5000 for everything. I know it was dumb to consent to this happen but I be a stupid kid who was over extended. I am surrounded by a good situation presently to start over. But how?

Answer:
Go to the forum section of www.creditboards.com and READ READ READ
What are you disputing? Are you claims invalid? You involve to have something to voice about disputing your entire credit report.

If your claims are valid you will basically get validation and it will remain on your credit report. That doesnt solve the problem unless your statutue of limitations are up.

So you requirement to check the laws surrounded by your state. Each state is a little different as far as date go but in that is a statute of limitation for credit reporting. Find out when your statute is over than it will drop of your credit report.

Bill collectors do not attain convinced by any "credit manager" that you are in financial neediness. The have ways of checking to find out themselves. lol.

Good Luck.
Creditors most of the times are found to be feeling like to negotiate for a lower debt repayment if they are convinced that your financial situation is really that bad. When the experts of a debt consolidation or credit counselling company negotiate near them, they are assured that they can at least rest partial amount. This way, the process of negotiation can oblige in retrenchment of amount due and save you from a unenthusiastic credit score (especially if they're disputed charges ;) wink wink LOL). If that fail, write a letter to adjectives the credit bureaus requesting the removal of ALL personal information under PIPEDA (everything except your SIN/ SSN). If they don't remove it, they can be sued for damages.

(Note: if your wages are anyone garnished by your employer from a creditor, it have to be court ordered, if they are doing this without one...it is risky!)
There are only two ways you can get hold of a negative item removed from your credit report.

1) The creditor fail to respond to a dispute investigation from the credit bureau

2) The creditor must delete it himself.

So your first step is ALWAYS dispute the entry and demand validation. This is your right lower than the law.

Many times, especially if debts are over 4 years prehistoric, it's very difficult for the creditor to locate the PROPER validation information. They any don't have it, or don't want to spend the time looking for it. So the will simply rebuff the investigation and allow it to drop. I doesn't work all the time, but it will chip away at a few of them.

The one and only other way to find it deleted is to somehow convince the creditor to delete it. That isn't going to transpire unless you pay the bill (or settle on a portion of it). Note that they are lone required to show "paid" on your credit report, but this does NOT delete negative information such as slow payments, collections or charge offs.

Unless you get the creditor to delete the entry completely it will still hurt your credit ranking. This is legal, and they are allowed to do it. Many creditors/collection agents will share you they can't. They are lying! Just ask Smiley (see answer above), as he is a professional collection agent and he will confirm it's legal.

DO NOT money unless they agree in writing to do this. Note that paying a debt 4-5 years mature can actually HURT your win, not help it. It MUST be delete.

Be sure to look at the Statute of Limitations for your state. These debts are about to turn uncollectable. Use that certainty as leverage when you negotiate.
I paid my rotten and then disputed them and most of them come off.. and from 2006 to no I go up 80 points

Sadly because some people are solid gluttons for punishment and they view credit cards as instant money.

Is it honourable to retribution past its sell-by date debts that enjoy be charged bad or are just about to be charged past its sell-by date on your credit report?

Question:
I read that if a debt is charged off, the debt is erased, but I'm not sure. I also read that if I remunerated one of these past due bills, it will be held against me near my credit score. What do I do?

Answer:
A collection make a ding on your credit for 60-90 days (I can't remember which). Sometimes paying off a collection in fact lowers your credit score. I would consult a credit managment company. Of course if you reward off a collection, the points will be added posterior in 60-90 days. Many companies report the debt every 90 days to ding your credit again.

Charged rotten means that it be charged off to bleak debt. It does not mean that it is cleared.
Don't know what "charged off" manner, but pay chronological due bills ASAP; the longer they go olden due, the worse your credit rating gets and they longer it take to fix.
The only method I would pay these bills is if the creditor agrees to remove the denial listings from your credit report. A charge off is a charge sour, paid or not. It will affect your credit mark the same. Also, by paying the bill, you will restart the 7 year clock further reducing your credit chalk up.

Always deal next to creditors and collection agencies in writing, sending adjectives correspondence certified return receipt post.
Yes it is good to recompense off debts that enjoy been charged bad. Even though they are negatively affecting your credit score, paying them past its sell-by date shows other creditors that you are at least trying to do the right entry. It is also good to reward past due bills, because the longer they travel unpaid, the more your credit score is artificial. Paying all bills (wether they are belated or charged off) is always within your best interest because it helps to increase your credit mark as well as show creditors that even though you may enjoy messed up in times past, you are at least honest surrounded by paying your debts.
The debt is not erased - you still owe it. But when a company writes it off, it money that either the amount owed is not worth the expense of collecting it, or they consider you such a poor risk that you won't pay envelope it back. Neither is apposite for your credit rating. You'd be lucky to be able to buy a junky infirm car or a cruddy hoary housetrailer to live in, if not you'll pay huge interest rates because of your poor credit chalk up.

If the amount owed is low, pay it hindmost as fast as you can. It will backing you out in the long run. Trust me, I've be there.

If the amount owed is larger, contact the company that you owe, and ask to work out a wage plan. They would MUCH rather work out a giving plan than write this off or convey it to a collection agency, as both are more expensive for them than having your pocket money be $10 short each month.

If you can afford the regular payments, bring in them - every month, on time, for the full amount. If you can't variety the full amount, pay as much as you can afford. This vehicle you do without the frills within life, approaching that $5 double-latte on the way to work, the weekend at the shore, or the lottery tickets. But if that's what it takes to be capable of pay your bills, next that's what you have to do.
Hi,
I used "Credit Solutions" to settle my debt and promote my credit score. They manage to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legal.I came accross this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:
http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1813149-104...
To answer your crucial question - reward the bill!
If a debt is in the 'charge-off' category, that mechanism that the company has charged it sour of their books. It has something to do beside taxes and the fact that they enjoy not received payment from you and they cannot count it as profit, blah blah blah. That does NOT be determined that it disappears from YOUR record. Just theirs. Charge-offs are regularly turned over to collections, just close to other accounts. Again, that lingo pretains to the original creditor, not you.
If you wages the past due bills, your ranking will not drop. As a matter of certainty, it will not increase either. It is still a obedient idea to settle the accounts. There's nought scarier to a lender than a bunch of open collections.
Good luck!
IF the debt have been charged bad unless your paying the full amount you dont want to send a wage. the reason is because in attendance is a law or statute of limitations where on earth they can only create you pay for a debt for a indubitable amount of years, if it has be four years you dont want to touch it because legally (depending on your state) you dont enjoy to pay it rear legs. Go to www.adviceontime.com for more info on credit its free.

Does anyone know anything well brought-up or in the order of more or less Hargrave and Associates Credit Repair?

Question:
I was thinking just about using Hargrave and Associates to help rearrange my credit but I am skeptical about whether or not they certainly help relatives or if it is just a spend of money.

Answer:
Hargrave and Associates is a legitimate credit repair firm but they are restricted in size and skill.

Credit repair services are services that find ways to have cynical information removed from your credit report. Contrary to popular belief, it is not just a process of hounding the credit reporting agencies until they attain tired of dealing with the explanation and they just remove it. There is a systematic process of permissible challenges that have to take place.

There are those companies out in attendance who will write letters on your behalf and will be successful contained by having some information removed from your report. If you are looking to only just have a interim increase in your credit mark for just long ample to obtain a mortgage, for example, consequently these cut-rate services will suffice. You can have the mission done for as little as $200. Just understand that the commission they are going to do for you is temporary and it is feasible that the information they remove will return at some point. If you want it removed again, you will have to money again.

Then there are services out near who will do a much better job for you and forever remove some negative information from your credit reports. This will cost anywhere from $500 to $1000, though I own seen some as giant as $2,500. They will have set success within removing some negative information from your report ineradicably. But as a general rule, they will not make the grade at removing ALL negative information from your report.

The companies that jump down into this category are those like Lexington Law and Hargrave and Associates. Yes they will be successful within increasing your credit score. It usually take about six months or so, longer for some and smaller number time for others. But on average, it takes in the region of six months.

But there are those companies out in attendance who will remove ALL negative information from your reports and do it forever. They usually cost more, but the results are worth it. They can cost anywhere from $750 on up. As a general rule they will average around $1000. The time frame they work near will be about impossible to tell apart, around six months. However, the reputable ones will continue to work next to you for 18 months. This way, after they own cleaned up your credit they can continue to monitor your reports to ensure that the information they own removed remains removed. If it shows back up again, they procure rid of it again at no cost to you.

Anytime that you have cynical information removed from your credit reports, your score should rise. This is not other the case. As within the case near the person above, what she didn't make clear to you was that adjectives she had on her report be negative information, so it ALL have to go. This is a worst bag scenario. When a person have no positive accounts to work with, the proper best they can hope for is a clean slate and they will enjoy to start over.

Yes, credit repair is legitimate. As long as they follow the law of the United States and the state from which they operate. Check with the company to ensure they are licensed, insured and bonded. Ask them to prove it. If they are lawful, they will offer proof.

Beware of Brian Williams. He is on parole from the State of California for check fraud. He is currently operating a credit repair scam out of Louisianna. I enjoy had several clients come to me beside horror stories of how he has taken their money and done no work for them. We enjoy worked with them and done more for them surrounded by three months than he has within over a year. It is my understanding that he is below investigation by authorities for his alleged fraudulent activities, however, I hold as yet be unable to confirm that.

Are nearby scams out near dealing with credit repair? Yes. But within are scams surrounded by every industry and service in the country. From Enron to mechanics to doctors, to house painter. As with adjectives things, you need to do your due dilligence and research since you sign on with any firm.

Aside from the BBB you might want to check out ripoffreport.com.

If you own any further questions concerning this issue, you may contact me at nebula7693@yahoo.com
I would avoid this. There is an law firm that specializes within consumer and credit law. I would trust a attorney (sounds weird proverb that) than I would these guys. http://www.creditrepairattorney.net...
Look at Micheal Jackson He give millions for someone to pay is debts for him and none of his debts get paid they of late ran past its sell-by date with the money nowhere to be found and they promised that they would filch care of him.. They took perfectionism of themselves all right and skip town next to the funds
You need to touch things yourself and show real responsibility...I thought it would look better if I feel my bills myself and not hand it over to another soul...Doing the books for accounting or taxes is OK for another human being to stand behind you but contained by the real world is a rip bad when it comes to building credit and the help empire to help you within is a large charge so consider paying yourself to say self we want to pay this bill by such and such a date...God bless I looked-for to sit and hand funds over to a husband as boys bar math better but since such a husband did not come to be noted in my life span I had to do and surmise like my father and the process he handled things...be the man and tie up my shoestrings and bra straps and shift out and play like the big boys do...Danity Cane Be a Showstopper....P Diddy
Don't agree to ANYONE repair your credit that mails dispute packages on your behalf when you don't see what they are mailing. I merely know of one company that allows you to access the letters and sign them yourself. You can e-mail me and I will be bright and breezy to give you the network address.
Check with the Better Business Bureau i.e. local to this company and see if there have been any complaints more or less them. As others have suggested, it might be better to find an attorney who handle this type of work - it is usually called "consumer litigation". Your local county or state lump association should be able to bequeath you referrals.
There is nil you cant do on your own that they charge you for. Go to www.adviceontime.com they have free proposal and free prepared letters that you can transport in to the credit br. yourself and stand up to your credit report.

Someone else is using my SSN?

Question:
I was on the trellis researching on my fathers' family framework (he passed away when I was highly young) and I came across myself as one of his relatives. There be my name down and directly below said "associated name" and the name of someone else from a different state. I tired to put it adjectives together and it looks like someone used my SSN beside his own name and address. I don't know this creature and I've never lived anywhere else. I checked my credit report and the only entry odd be that in the year 2000, here was an reason opened but closed that same daylight... It doesn't seem resembling this person have tired to use my SSN for the past 6-some years... should I still report this ?

Answer:
I would report it big time. I would not agree to this go any longer. You are lucky this being hasn't done more damage but. They might be saving you ssn for something really big. Call your SSC bureau and get the globe rolling. Good luck and I am glad to hear they havn't managed any more overexploit yet.
yes, report it and you should variation your SSN!
Notify the IRS immediately because that will correct the amount of money that you earn for the IRS, could cause fees and even detention centre time. Report it and change your SSN.
YES you should report it. There is soo much identity mugging these days you can't be too tight-fisted. Report it, they can flag your account and notify you promptly if someone is trying to open a untried account. Best of Luck...
You should noticeably inquire about this.
It appears that it be an honest mistake and someone either give the wrong SSN or the store keyed it contained by wrong. Just to be on the safe side, however, I would bring it to the attention of the Social Security Administration. If it be an honest mistake as it appears there will be no problems for anyone. If near is some chicanery going on they will be the ones to deal near it.
I am so sorrry to know that your fathe died when u were babyish but all i can utter is that be very punctilious with your SSN

Still Dreaming?
http://aftabkashif.blogspot.com...

Get a commission, Get a life!
http://gethired.brinkster.network
www.fbi.gov has a connection for suspected fraud victims.

You could contact a credit report company and find out how to get a copy of your credit report, going backbone that far. If you suspect you are/were a victim of fraud, you enjoy certain rights to that report.

Not everything on the internet is accurate so mind if that is your single source for reporting fraud. It is one place to start but should never be your only foundation. Someone else probably does own the same entitle as yours, so the internet caught it as "associated name". Go through only reputable channel...

Good luck...

If I'm contained by debt, & i turn overseas and rebuff it, what will transpire to my debt. Will my impossible credit profile follow me?

Question:
