Question:
My parents have a credit card tale in their nickname but got me a credit card contained by that same account near my name on it. If I use it to buy things and they earnings ontime, can this help my credit or does it not affect it. Thanks
Answer:
If they placed you on as an authorized user and it is reporting on your credit reports, later yes, it well minister to your credit - as long as the account is contained by good standing.
If any payments are made postponed or if the utilization is high, that will own a negative impact on your credit.
it shouldnt affect your credit it will solely build theres unless you force them over the limit or something dumb.
it won't affect it 'coz you're lone an additional card holder
if it is tied to your social financial guarantee number then yes. Now if they in recent times added you as a user then no. why are you parents paying your bills? I hope you are a worthy kid :)
uthis will only affect you if the credit card company asked for your personal info description ssn ect. if they did they willl report all of your parents obedient credit as your own . keeep in mind that adjectives purchases u make they are responsible for.but it does oblige your credit as long as they report this accout. to the credit bureau credit guru, repair specialist

Is debt consolidation considered alike as liquidation?
Question:
I'm considering consolidating my debt with the consumer credit counseling agency within my town but someone told me that it's considered (i guess by potential creditors) the same as file bankruptcy? Is this true?
Answer:
Not at adjectives. When you declare Bankruptcy, you aren't paying off your debt. With Debt Consolidation, you are doing the right thing and paying off your debt.
It might bring your credit score down a bit and the cards surrounded by consolidation will be frozen.
Be careful you choose a reputable debt consolidator. Trying going on Suze Orman's website, she give great tips.
They are different.
no, it's not at all alike.
While enrolled within the program you will not be seeking out new credit, so it doesn't event what potential creditors think. When I did mine, as soon as I completed the program (paid bad the debts I needed to), all reference to the program were gone from my credit report.
I significantly recommend CCC agencies when you need them. It's a table lamp at the end of a tunnel and you'll be surprised how rapidly you start to get your director above water. Good luck!
the simple answer is yes . its pretty tough to capture from under that one . my support is do not consoladate your credit its as bad as not paying also as a credit specialist i can inform you that i can teach you how to repair and negotiate beside the companies your own settlements and payments the key is that when you arrange payments that the crdit company reports you as positive not glum . you want to preserve your credit rating and at the same time pay envelope them little by little . if you go to these companies THEY WILL NOT preserve your credit rating they will bring it down and it will show on your credit report as you one in credit distress. email me if you are interested within me helping you fix and arrange payments to preserve your credit and have the credit card companies report your dept as PAID AS AGREED wich give you a good credit mark good luck achef22@yahoo.com
They are not indistinguishable. Bankruptcy will do much more damage to your credit rack up and will stay on your credit report for up to 10 years.
Credit counseling and debt consolidation can help, if done properly, but you can negotiate next to your creditors yourself.
You can probably avoid bankruptcy by simply calling your creditors, because they are regularly very unambiguous to working with consumers that are sincere more or less settling their debts.
Your creditors really want to hear from you, because they are well aware of the effects of collapse.
If you file Chapter 7, your creditors catch absolutely nil (although it's tougher to qualify for Chapter 7 because of the new laws). If you folder Chapter 13, they will only bring on average 25 to 50% of the amount owed, but that will be stretched out over 5 years.
Most will be willing to work next to you, but you need to enjoy a good plan of attack since you make contact beside them. I’ve included a link to a free resource that can confer you a little more guidance.
I hope things work out.
Debt consolidation occur when you take out a loan to pay envelope out a number of smaller debts.
What you're considering is "Credit Counseling" which lenders look as need help next to debt management because you can't be in command of it on your own.
Lenders see this as a poor risk situation perhaps not as discouraging as bankruptcy but not a together lot better.
nope...they both are different, debt consolidation is better than bankruptcy
Combination of miscellaneous high interest loans into a single one, it is call debt consolidation. The aim behind debt consolidation is to drop off the payments or the interest rate. You make a single pay toward the loan instead many payments respectively month. This reduces your financial burden and you can enjoy surplus cash moved out over. Credit counseling services offer debt consolidation loans. Check out the credentials of the credit counselor and find out if they are authorized by the management.

Ugh! Don't know my reason number, hold a $1500 stability on circuit city card HELP!?
Question:
My husband got a circuit city card (chase bank) and maxed it out to buy a tentative comp. He had min payments of $50/mo but after the intial donation he claims he "forgot to keep paying" that be almost a year ago!! I just only just moved up here and took over the bills. He has no concept where the bills are sent, so I don't know my rationalization number but I want to work out a payment plan next to them! What can I do!?!? Panic! Lol
Answer:
You need to send for 1-888-363-8001 which is the Circut City/Chase Customer Service to have them look up the article. You can try to get it for him, but unless you are on the commentary they probably won't give it to you.
Also, unless you have some special deal for no payments for a year it is most imagined already at an outside collection agency. When you call Circuit City they will make a contribution you the phone number you need to telephone call for making arangements.
Why are you assuming your husband's ignorance? Seriously. He is the one who "forgot". Let him learn his lesson. Outside of a existing estate transaction they cannot touch you.

The costco american express card?
Question:
is this an easy card to get hold of approved for? is it considered a true AMEX card? or just a store card?
Answer:
it is considered as a true Amex Card
it is a true card, not purely a store card
It should be as easy as any other card. Yes it is a true AMEX card, classification that you will have to discharge it off every month. This is also the with the sole purpose credit card that is standard at Costco because of the fact that you hold to pay it bad every month.
You also get a percentage vertebrae with respectively purchases.
It's a hard card to get hold of.
Beware, it is NOT a credfit card. The entire balance is due when you are billed, except contained by some cases, you may entend your payments for a major expense, such as a big sports car repair.
Thereis also no dollar limit. You could charge a different car on it. That's why it is so knotty to get.
One of the biggest secret we learned just about business merchant accounts is that Costco provides a fantastic deal on credit card processing through Nova Systems. It's such a large amount it can actually discharge for your entire Costco membership. Here are some niceties:
All of the monthly statement and gateway fees are waived - money of $25 - $50 per month

Why would u want a card next to an annual allowance ?
Question:
there so oodles cards out there..but why seize one with an annual levy? some out there own no annual fee..low apr and better offer than annual fee cards.
Answer:
It depends on the situation and the individual. My brother within law have a card with a ridiculous lofty annual fee, but he travels alot (away 3-4 night per week averaging 3 round trip flights) and the mileage rewards make up for the cost of the tax.
Ex - based on mile rewards alone, he flew my parents, his wife and 2 kids, and my wife and 1 kid to England. The total cost of the trip surrounded by cash be less than $2000, the symmetry was remunerated for by rewards miles
So, if you get the right rewards program and beneath the right circumstances, the fee is not so desperate.
Those are for people beside terrible credit.
Personally, I avoid adjectives cards with annual fees. Like you articulate, there are so abundant choices and in some cases equivalent or better offers/options on cards beside no fee.
But within are cards with annual fees that present perks that some surface are worth the cost. The primary example that comes to mind are those that offer frequent flier miles and/or other travel benefits. For those that travel commonly, paying the annual fee can be outweighed by the extra airline miles they can amass and special privileges like use of private lounges and other upgrades/niceties.
Another example could be American Express, which offer extra benefits over other cards to members paying annual tax.
Some with poor credit may hold no choice but pay an annual allowance in decree to be issued a card - at least until they can remodel their credit score.
But for most ethnic group, I think paying an annual payment for a card doesn't make sense.
if you hold ever declared bankrupsy or had a impossible credit history, they can be helpful to back restore your credit rating if payments are made on time, also if you hold no credit history ,it can be harder than you might think to grasp a card with no duty, in cases close to this
I pay $70.00 annually for my Visa Gold which earn me air miles when I use it.
The appeal of those air miles far exceeds the 70 bucks so it's worth it to me.
I never convey a balance so the interest rate charged is a non-issue.
I submitted my info on my credit card and it excepted it but what is a redem code,, and why can't I be a membe
Question:
I don't have a redeem code and you agreed my credit card i have no axcess to the website
Answer:
If you did this online, you should hold recieved an e-mail in response beside a code number that you use to verify that your a member when you sign into the website your trying to sign up. I'm wondering what website needs $$ to receive into and if it's legit.
The e-mail could have gone into your spam. Check at hand.

The only creditable secured credit lender that I know of is risk-free is "Orchid Bank" They will give you 50% of your deposit on your initial deposit as a secured credit card.
One entry about any con artists, they thrive on anyone whom believes surrounded by something that is too flawless to be true. They call the "anyone" suckers. There is an older saying: "you can't con a honest man" So please be extremely watchful when you send anyone money surrounded by the mail.

Can we win? Should we sue?
Question:
Okay... well this is the story we enjoy a telephonecompany SBC AT&T whatever and we are anyone billed AGAIN for a past due of which we already compensated and we even have the bill to prove it. We are usually paying our pill at a local Vons but blah blah blah theydidntsendd the money or something and now the phone companyis hounding at our wits completion to try to get the money and this is the third month because my mom keep calling and telling them that we enjoy paid the bill and they said they'd pilfer care of it and sure plenty they DIDNT (FAGS) anyway... now I hold gotten finally Internet more specifically DSL and my mom even talkedto them about the cost and everything and very soon our phone bill is $94 still including the past bill so anyway my friend tell me to pay for it and theyll distribute us back $50 because they made a mistake next to our rebate for the modem so anyway should we pay and skulk 60 days for the $50 and wat about times gone by due? should we sue or something because my mom is now pissed...?
Answer:
I don't ponder you can sue, but if you have the getting showing you paid, steal it to the nearest At&T center, NOT the Von's or wherever....... and show them you compensated. It is then up to the place you rewarded it at to make angelic, because they have a contract beside AT&T to be able to rob the payments. Pay the phone bill minus the disputed amount. At&T is usually very virtuous at crediting your account when you show them it's their error.
What are the pros and cons for ruin ? or what else i can do to achieve out of my debt ?
Question:
Answer:
Can't give you an erudite answer. You don't go into your current income.
My feelings...I do not recommend anyone file BK for a $10k debt. The costs alone to directory and go through the credit counseling are comparatively a bit....if you could come up with that much you are already on your method to paying the debt.
But unlike the other responders here.....I don't discourage BK. If you do not have a undertaking or income, and it's not likely you will grasp one.....if your current budget has no disposable income gone, then you dont' hold a whole lot of choice.
The existing test is to ask yourself this: If you go on a very serious budget, and took adjectives of your disposable income and placed it toward paying off your debt, could you payment it off contained by 5 years?
In this case, you hold $10k in debt. Can you find around $175 a month? If so, afterwards you should not file BK. I reckon you can work with your creditors and carry out of this mess. Your credit will be a little messed up, but not totally destroyed.
If not, you may own to file. But you will involve to find a couple thousand to finance the endorsed fees. I really think you should hold bad on this option until you no longer hold a choice.....judgments start coming surrounded by or they start repo or garnishment actions.
Look around on the network...there are some excellent sites that will aid you deal beside your credit mess....work with creditors, budget, that sort of piece. Look for a non-profit credit counseling agency in your nouns, but we warned greatly of these places are scams. I hold found very few reputable ones out at hand.
Will be happy to discuss this beside you if you need some more proposal. I am not a lawyer or credit counselor, only someone who has help others in a similar situation.
Avoid ruin if at all possible.
Go to a reputable consumer credit counseling service. I used this one .... http://greenpath.com/ and rewarded off over $35k worth of credit card debt contained by just over 3 years. And immediately my credit rating is mid- 700's.
you didn't tell us almost your debt...how much, do you own a house and car, are you married, do you hold children, do you live in an apartment, are you responsible for supporting anyone besides yourself, what species of job do you hold, etc. etc. so it's difficult to advise when we don't know your situation.
you asked what are the pros and cons for ruin. The answer is don't do it unless you owe $65,000 or more or have a mountain of medical bills. Instead, get 3 job, eat beans and rice for a few years, and take-home pay off your debts.
Never clear a consumer credit counseling group or any group that wants to clear your bills for you....you can do it yourself with a short time determination.
You can probably avoid bankruptcy by simply calling your creditors, because they are normally very plain to working with consumers that are sincere going on for settling their debts.
Your creditors really want to hear from you, because they are well aware of the effects of collapse.
If you file Chapter 7, your creditors bring back absolutely nought (although it's tougher to qualify for Chapter 7 because of the new laws). If you directory Chapter 13, they will only achieve on average 25 to 50% of the amount owed, but that will be stretched out over 5 years.
Most will be willing to work next to you, but you need to own a good plan of attack back you make contact next to them. I’ve included a link to a free resource that can offer you a little more guidance.
I would avoid collapse at all costs because it will wreck your credit evaluation (especially in the 1st 2 years), and it can stay on your credit report for up to 10 years.
Opt for a debt consolidation loan: The easiest method of getting a debt consolidation loan is to utilize the equity of your home. Equity of your home is calculated and determined by the difference contained by the amount you have remunerated and the amount you owe. If the amount you have salaried is more than the amount due, you can use it as collateral. This allows you to borrow money on lower interest rates. Besides, you also get levy benefit on this type of loan. Consult your tax advisor past opting for this loan.
Use unsecured loans: If the equity within your home is not adequate or you do not own a home, jump for an unsecured personal loan. These loans are more difficult to get, but once you are approved, you will benefit from the lower rate of interest beside this type of consolidation loan.

Bankruptcy is an absolute later resort and you probably do not owe enough to qualify.
How to attain out of debt? Here's one idea. Cut up adjectives your credit cards. You can do this even if you have balance on them. Live off of dosh. If you have to foot over dollars for everything it makes you much more aware of how much you're spending.
If you can, bring back a second job. Allow yourself a change budget that will let you pay cheque the most you possibly can off respectively debt.

Student loan/credit payments?
Question:
if you are making your best effort to reward someone, even if your payments do not cover the monthly interest, can they begin any sort of proceeding? if so, to what extent, and what are the prerequisites for them to open?
Answer:
for student loans all they want is some money... Can your lender and try to acquire a deferement or forebearance
Restructure your student loan payments so you pay smaller quantity now and more surrounded by like 10 years
Sometimes next to school loans...if you telephone in they cut you profusely of slack and you dont have to money as much. Sometimes they will allow more time for you to begin making payments. Just phone up them and tell them you are not sufficiently expert to make such soaring payments and they will probably adjust it. They are pretty good roughly these things.
Now the bad portion. As far as credit cards go...most credit cards require that you transport them your minimum payments of the contracted rate you agree to. If you dont, they mostly likely will transport you to collections. Unfortunatly, you are bound to your contract and Im sure that no place in that contract does it voice that they are not able to proceed against you if you do not payment.
As for the collection agency, they may sue you if you dont pay what they want or you might capture lucky, get a nice collection agent who will cut you slack and tolerate you make payments of what you can.
If that doesnt work, the collection agency can sue you. Even though you produce small payments and its not what they want...they can sue you. It is unfortunate but they are not bound by any regulation that requires them to accept doesn`t matter what you can afford to pay.
Be exceedingly careful when you run up credit card charges. Pay it down for a time before you run up anymore. Try not to use a credit card at adjectives. Unless it is an emergency.
Good Luck
i believe there is a style you can change the amount of money you money a month as well as the due date. you can also request that you stop making payments for enduring reasons such as pregnancy, loss of work, disappearance etc. you should visit your student loan provider's website for more info or bid them.
What concerned of interest rate should I be getting near a 670 FICO ranking?
Question:
Mortgage amount would be approx. 370K... my current loan officer is saying 8.2%! I deduce thats a little glorious, what do you guyz think?
Answer:
My best guidance to you is shop around when it comes to finding a mortgage but keep this within mind. Whichever loan officer you went to first hold them print you a copy of the credit report they pulled and take that beside you when you shop around for the loan. You do not want the negative credit inquiry grades on your credit record. Just describe them I have a copy and hold them base their quote rotten the credit report in foot, as credit reports are good for 30 days.
The amount of down sum you make will also affect your interest rate as a loan is going on for the risk the bank is likely to take. If you are within good standing near the bank you enjoy your checking account beside then check out what they hold to offer as they will be more likely to help a customer, sometimes.
Pardon my bluntness but I assume that your loan officer is smoking something. Unless you have a exceedingly high debt to income ratio or this is a non owner settled home, you should not be nearly that high.
I work for a title company and go and get tired of seeing people getting screwed at the closing table. I own a few loan officers that I would individually send my own inherited to because they are honest and hardworking. If you would like me to recommend someone that you can reach a deal to, please send me an email.
Stephanie
within are many factor that go into a loan.
if you will include an addendum that give this info:

Any Prior Bankruptcy?
Are you surrounded by Consumer Counseling Credit?
Loan amt.
Purchase or Refi
income-- self empl or w2

Past money history. (How many times 30 days late)

I can run you through my computer software and report to you. These are the main things that determine your interest rate contained by addition to your credit rack up.
You may well be getting other. Depends on what the answer is to these questions.
Cynthia is right; in that are many factor that go into calculating an interest rate, of which credit evaluation is just one significant factor. While the title lady Stephanie is trying to be willing, a lot depends upon where on earth you are located v. where the mortgage officer she wants to recommend to your are located. No one is licensed contained by all 50 states, to my education, so what jurisdiction you reside in is a knob factor, too. Is the lender that told you that rate with a direct lender? A broker? With a mark national company, such as Countrywide, American Equity Mortgage, etc.? These are also factors to consider.
Your mortgage interest rate is largely determined by your credit win. The credit score is the critical factor surrounded by getting lower interest rate. Find out your credit score; ignorance can be terrifically expensive. Follow these tips to save your money and draw from a lower interest rate on mortgage.
Your credit score is a crucial section of your finances and is determined by your credit records. These annals are maintained by 3 core credit agencies: Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union. Your payment history and your debt-to-income ratio will establish your credit score. It is used by your lender to opt whether you are eligible for the credit, the terms of the loan and the interest rate applicable to you.
Credit reports?
Question:
whats a website that i can get a free credit report right away and one that won't hurt my credit by checking, i want to try and capture a new sports car tomorrow. HELP PLEASE!
Answer:
You're entitled to get one free report from adjectives 3 credit bureaus once a year and there's only one website that you should even consider using and i.e.:
http://www.annualcreditreport.com...
This is the only government-sponsored source to grasp your reports.
This will not hurt your credit because it is considered a "soft" inquiry. No creditors can see that inquiry and it does not affect your credit score.
equifax
You don't call for to run a credit report on yourself to buy a car, they'll do it for you when you apply for financing. I be amazed at how quick and graceful this process was when I did it give or take a few three weeks ago. I was approved contained by about three minutes and I have only be at my new commission for three days. Didn't even know my own work phone number!!
freecreditreport.com
You can get what's surrounded by your record once a year at no cost.
don't buy anything else that they're selling.
this will not count against your credit ranking.
BUY GM! You won't be sorry.
freecreditreport.com
I believe they make a contribution you the three credit reports(experian, transunion and equifax ), free of charge. However all credit reporting agencies will charge you if you want the total credit rack up. You do not need to sign up for anything optional on freecreditreport.com, you do not need to. So if you do not sign up for anything, they cannot "rip you off"
The free reports will of late let you know what is on at hand but they will not tell you your credit rack up.
You can also contact equifax, experian and transunion directly and run it that way.
You are allowed by regulation to have one free credit report per year. Also, if you run your own credit it does not (or is not supposed) to emulate poorly on your credit rating. It only affects you negatively if someone else runs your credit (ie. a dune or credit card).
Hope that helps.
To answer your spare details: Unless you have something horrible on nearby in the previous 6 months you should be fine. The sports car dealership will run your credit and let you know. It is a sudden process and unless you are getting your credit run all the time, it really does not imitate badly on your report. Just do not overdo it. I meditate 3-4 a year is about the average.
So as long as you own kept up with payments, hold nothing horrible beforehand that that dropped your credit score drastically you should know how to get the loan yourself.
AnnualCreditReport.com
Go to www.transunion.com
DO NOT USE freecreditreport.com!!
The "free" report they give is only after you enroll within their "triple advantage" program, which is a rip-off & will bill you monthly.
The government allows you to check your credit report from respectively of the 3 major bureaus once a year (you can spread it out & check respectively every 4 months if you like, or do it adjectives at once).
ANNUALCREDITREPORT.COM is the correct site.
-----
to answer your more recent question, 6 months is not profoundly of time to establish a basis... and if your parents are already co-signers on that, they may not distinguish "YOU" as have been the responsible knees-up alone. So, it really depends on the dealer. If you jump on your own, you may not get as favorable credit lingo (or at all), than you would with your parents.
My counsel... try to qualify on your own. Ask what the terms are, and later find out if you had your parents co-sign how much better those jargon might be. Depending on the dealer and/or who you find the loan through (i.e. the auto giant, or the local dealership), it may be alot, or it may be negligible. If your parents are still likely to do so it might be the better option... and you can build your credit further next to credit cards.
Good Luck!
Here is a free consumer guide that may help you find the answer nearly your credit score and getting a free credit report.
I own a 547 credit rack up, and few collections, can i take a loan to buy a home.?
Question:
Answer:
Yes, but they're going to ask you for higher interest rates and probably insist on mortgage insurance.
near the new rules since feburary, probably NOT! Get the collections taken stale and try again in say aloud 2-3 years.
the answer is maybe ... nearby is a way to procure a government insured loan near a low down payment that does not necessarily trade name you pay sour all of your collection accounts but it does depend on your personal situation and you would own to qualify based on your income.
to find out more hail as 1-877-LIFE-711 and i will be happy to supply you information.
by the way never listen to anyone that merely tells you know minus knowing all the facts. you may not be qualified, i dont know by the information that you provided but at most minuscule i am willing to try and support you out. NO should never be an acceptable answer :-)
apt luck
as someone who just go through this with a credit evaluation of 580, fannie mae and freddie mac (mortgage lenders) require a 620 score for 100% financing. near a score of 547 you will probably have need of at least 10% down. conceivably more depending on the bank/mortgage company. they told me as long as i got my gain up, even though i have collections they will finacnce me.
YES! Find your self a fitting broker. A good broker can find a loan for associates with score as low as 500. You maybe asked to put 8% down but you can other use sellers concessions to lend a hand you with the 8%.
no offense dude, but next to a 547 and collections, you don't need more debt. Focus on getting held up and clean up your credit. At duplicate time, save a bit toward a down payment so that you can hopefully make smaller your mortgage interest rate. For good credit counseling info shift to www.daveramsey.com
If your credit score is 620 or above you will probably be approved for a conforming loan next to a lower interest rate. If your credit score is below 620 you will probably be approved for a non conforming loan beside a higher interest rate. Remember the lower the credit rating the better your interest rate will be. Some lenders accept credit ratings down into the lower 500's.

Collections keep reporting after ruin and disputes.?
Question:
I declared bankruptcy roughly speaking two years ago. A collection account just now showed up on my credit report for one of the creditors that was included. I disputed the entry near the credit bureau, and it was changed to "included surrounded by bankruptcy" within a few weeks. It have been roughly one month and the account have now be given an "unpaid" status with a symmetry due again. What steps should I take, and what recourse do I enjoy against them?
Answer:
I would write the credit bureau(s) with a copy to the Creditor advise (fill in the balanks accordingly) that the story in put somebody through the mill was originally an statement with ____________ and be included in my Chapter ________ Bankruptcy file on ___________. (If their was already a collection agency: "________ be also listed as an assignee on this account"). My Chapter __________ Bankruptcy be Discharged on _____________. (MAKE SURE IT WAS DISCHARGED). This account be Included in my Discharge.
Following the Discharge, ___(The NEW COLLECTION ACCOUNT)____ purchased this Discharged narrative and has be contacting me violating the Discharge. Please be advise this this Creditor should not be listed on my credit report as this side was Dicharged prior to their bill of the abovesaid account. Please contact the Creditor and push for them of my dispute and have this narrative removed from my credit.
Okay, so that should work..but do it in an actual memo...disputing credit online or by phone limits what types of disputes you can build.
Sometimes it takes a couple tries. If this creditor is valid they can stay on your credit report as included within Bankruptcy, but after 10 years they will disappear just approaching the rest of your Discharged debt.
Good luck!
Its hard - Just preserve on Disputing until it is corrected
They'll probably "accidently" do this to you for a while. It's one of those things: you f*cked them, now they bend you over.
You should own a copy of your discharge papers itemizing which debts were included surrounded by the filing. You have need of to send a copy contained by to the bureaus (all 3) along with a epistle substantiating the debt was quantity of the discharge. As long as you have proof they hold to revert it.
As long as your dispute is factual and documented, they own to correct it or they have in fact broken the law. Not that it seem to matter too much to them, but if you own proof of their violations, that would pass some weight if you needed to aim legal help out down the line. You can obtain cheap legal sustain these days if you really flush for it.
Along with another dispute notification, send a copy of your ruin documents for factual and documented proof that the collection is included surrounded by the bankruptcy. Hopefully, that should do it.
I hope it works out.
