Is Fairfax Lending a concrete Loan Company or are they going to rip me sour?

Question:
I am applying for a personal loan at Fairfax Lending and they are asking for a collateral up front. Is this normal for a loan and how do I know that I am going to go and get my loan?

Answer:
I have sent them $1800 next to the promise of getting a loan. They told me they couln't get me approved, but if I could transport them 1200 more, they could get me approved for $10,000. That's when I researched credit fee loans, and I presume I got burned. I call them today, and told them I wanted a return. I called the Rochester Fraud Dept, and they said that the address for them is certainly a bar. I've notify the FTC and Attorney General too. I'm looking for my money back, my suggestion is don't do it.
what collateral is used on a personal loan?

Try Norwest Financial or your local credit union.

A friend took a loan from the internet, never signed any documents. Does he still involve to recompense rotten the loan?

Question:
This loan company is charging a ridiculous interest rate (99%). Is that legal?

Answer:
"Online electronic signatures" are a valid endorsed way to stamp contracts/agrements between parties.

By simply clicking "yes" or "no" or "submit" or "apply" you agree to language specified at the time of transcations.

A creditor can charge whatever fees give the impression of being reasonable to charge, it's up to the borrower to verify jargon BEFORE agreeing.
"Caveat Emptor"
Good luck.
ridiculous yes....the fact that someone would bear money over the internet and not think that it would backfire is also ridiculous.....even when you hold a loan out from a bank you really stipulation to read all of the paperwork warily......if there is none its liberal of hard to believe or prove...........bar the fact that they owe the untested amount of money borrowed
Wow, that depends on what state he/she is in. If they enjoy not spent the money, there is usually a 3 sunshine right of refusal period. They can return the principal amount, and impose sanctions the loan. They should check the online documentation and agreement to be sure. If there is any difficulty, they should contact their state's attorney general's bureau, who will direct them of the safest course of action to protect their FICO (credit score).
yes an electronic signature is legally recognized. your friend should of read the terms of the loan practically

Why didn't you just lend your friend the money?

What would be the lowest evaluation needed to apply for a credit card?

Question:
If the national avg. is 675 what would be the lowest score a credit card company will walk before they reject you??

Answer:
There are two kind of credit cards-
Secured, which has an equal amount as your credit amount surrounded by a secured account. You SHOULD earn interest on this deposit while it is secured.
Unsecured - which does not require a deposit.

Each institution have its own criteria on what it looks for. Example, you may have a credit chalk up of 700, but never a revolving account, which a credit card is considered. Therefore, they may require you to enjoy a deposit.

On the other hand, some so-called "predatory" lenders may not require a deposit, but own outrageous fees and may only require a mark of 500.

If you are applying at a bank or credit grouping, ask somebody! They may give you criteria. A smaller institution is more feasible to offer oblige to you than, say, Bank of America. Ask around.
There are Visa & Mastercard credit cards that cater to nation with impossible credit and no credit history. These cards are issued to even people next to 500 credit scores. Of course the interest rates are big. The limit is usually $250 to $500.
your chalk up is good so u should be ok

Credit Card Interest Question?

Question:
Can a credit card company still charge interest on a credit card balance even after it's be turned over to a collection agency and they're threatening to sue? This doesn't seem officially recognized.

Answer:
They can demand interest up to the date that the debt is compensated.
Of course they can. It is still unpaid debt that you owe and it can still accumulate interest.
It depends on the vocabulary to which you agreed when signing up for the card. Depending on what you signed, and the ethical guidelines of the company from which the card was issued, the credit card company can do anything it wants while you still "owe" it money.
If you bought a TV when the card's APR be 9.99%, they can raise the APR formerly you pay rotten the TV for any reason they please.
It's decriminalized as long as it was disclosed surrounded by the fine print in that small booklet that they mail to you when they sent you the card.
Yes, the debt is still unpaid.

Can u be summons to court if it is tape to your door? does it enjoy to be appendage giving?

Question:

Answer:
Like Echo says....it depends on the state you live contained by.

Every state (and even specific courts) have set rules on how to properly serve court papers. Normally, the courts want the papers deliver in character. But many times, that character is avoiding service, or is just not competent to be located in a timely attitude.

So the courts will allow "alternate service" to be performed. This can be done by Certified US Mail, "posting" the make out to the door of your home or work office, posting a concentration in public places, or placing a concentration in the rag. Posting and publishing notices are the exceptionally last resort, and several courts will not allow it except in extreme circumstances.

The procedure for posting to the door of your home again will oscillate from state to state. In the vast majority, the plaintiff must first walk to court and request an "order for alternate service". In charge to be granted, they must demonstrate that a "diligent search" was made to locate the defendant. They must also demonstrate that by posting this sense, there is a "all right expectation" that the defendant will get the service.

This is significant because, by law, you must be allowed to appear contained by court to answer the lawsuit. In my state, if you can not demonstrate to the judge that defendant be served, they will not proceed with the lawsuit.

OK....so long story short....did the personality who posted this to your door first go to court and request an "decree for alternate service"? This should have be included with your court paperwork. If not, and your state demands it, this is an "impolite service" and you can protest it.

Keep in mind that process servers do not bring paid unless the service is deliver. So they do tend to get lax and languorous about it....until the mess up and find themselves call to court to explain their actions.

I'm a proletarian process server in Michigan.
Summons paste on your registered address door can be considered as having be delivered in-person.
This could own been sent by post. Posted to the door is probably ok also.
those other people probably are correct,, but it isn't the mode it's done in the movies..
It depends on your states rules of service.
To find your states rules of service, click on your state contained by the following:
http://www.megalawserve.com/states/rules...
yup! cause they know u get it. u better stop playin cause they will accessories your check next.
Strange adequate...Process Servers legally can appointment your name out surrounded by a crowd in a public place, once you turn around, the server can throw the papers at your foot, letting it scatter contained by the wind if they choose. It's up to you to pick it up. YOU ARE SERVED!
Consider it a nice piece that they taped it to your door at tiniest to avoid embarrasment. Good luck.

Auto reposed they sold vehicle but are trying to put together me recompense the remainder of the loan?

Question:
am i still responseible for the loan

Answer:
Yes. When they sold the car they sold it at auction and it probably go for the lowest amount possible... you are responsible for any money still owed. It should have adjectives be laid out in the reminder they sent you saying you own until XX day to contact us and lug care of this or we'll market it at auction and you'll still owe us money. Next they will turn it over to either their attorney or outside counsel to pursue you for collection... they will more-than-likely give somebody a lift you to court for judgment, which will eventually arrest up with you contained by the form of a garnishment.

This is a very celebrated life lesson... mistakes don't jump away, you have to own up to them eventually.
Yes, you hold to pay the amount they are out for the coup¨¦.
Yes you are still responsible for the remainder of the loan.
It happened to my friend too and sorry, he have to pay.
You are responsible for the total worth of the loan less the amount that they get when it was sold.
Do you other sign loans without reading them?

You probably missed the fine print, and yes you probably still owe.
Yes, if the price they verbs for the auto doesn't cover the balance of the loan.
They 'loaned' you the money to purchase the coup¨¦, you are paying back the loan, even if you no longer own the car.
Yes. I.E. if your house burned down and you hold a mortage you still have to compensate it.
Yes, you are still responsible for the loan, but you CAN make an give of what you could repay vs. what they want.

They are NOT out all of the interest they are trying to collect.

So, if your vehicle sold close to the asking price, and they are trying to collect more interest than vehicle, be paid an offer of 40% of the symmetry, and if they say yes, after by all mode, make your payments in good time.

It's win/win...they get some money, you look better to the bureau.
Yes But they cant do anything to you but report it to the credit bureaus if you don't settle. And if you do pay it doesn't facilitate your credit score any. Because you still enjoy a repossession on there. So don't consume your money.
Yep
This happened to us, and here's what we did.

We unobserved all threats and correspondence from them for a year. They sold the debt to a collection company. We owed 12,000.00 We settled for 2400. We paid them surrounded by 4/600 dollar chunks and had them report to the credit bureau's it be settled in full. Then 6 months latter we challened the original debt from the sports car company on our credit reports. The car company didn't nurture because they were done near it at that time so it ended up coming stale our credit. No repo, no ding, saved almost 10grand and it single took 2 years to clean up.
Yes, If you owed $5000 and the auction brought within $2000 you still owe $3000, you need to work out a pocket money plan with the loan company. This is why financial counselors other suggest trying to sell your motor before a repo so you control the price. Same near selling your house before foreclosure.
Yes, you are still responsible for the set off remaining on the loan. Just because they took the vehicle doe's not release you from your responsibility to pay for it.

Now the desperate news is that the payoff purely went method up because they are going to add repo fees, storage fees, auction fees and lawyer fees to the balance. Plus you can bet that they sold it at auction for like mad less than it's worth.

Example. You owed $15,000.00, they sold the sports car for $8,000.00 you now owe $7,000.00 plus adjectives fees and interest.
Very simply, yes. It is called a Deficiency Balance.

You borrowed X, didn't bring in the payments and they picked up the car and sold it. You still owe the stability.

Why do credit inquiries lower your credit ranking?

Question:

Answer:
because they dont want you pulling your credit frequently
I doubt it, but they do show up.
because you are asking for more than your solitary means of support.
Generally it's assumed that you stipulation more monies thus the inquiries.
It is a game of sorts! They want to put you down, sort you feel doomed to failure, and prevent you from getting credit.
I don't know but I don't think it's a neutral rule, and it does lower your score. I conjecture they think that your trying to apply for too much credit. Which most society have anyways, even if they don't own a low score, they are agency over-budgeted. They economy is crashing. When your on the lower wrapping up like me, you see it first. Like my husband drives a semi truck. And for a chief company. The loads to haul are getting a reduced amount of and fewer. Some guys don't even get hold of out to work anymore because there is not ample to haul. That's not flawless because virtually "everything" you buy, is hauled on a truck at one point and time. So........they own given so much "credit" to everyone, especially for houses, and the econmy is bad very soon, and it's all crashing within. And I believe with adjectives this happening, they will be shifting the rules soon on this. Hope this wasn't too long winded for you. Just tried to explain it the way I see it.
Because the assumption is that you're applying for credit so you will be within major debt by the time the current inquireer loans you money. There are soft and unyielding inquiries which have different effects. Employment inquiries, for example, don't enjoy an effect on your credit score.
applying much= large risk score down
here are lots of reasons... none of which I have a feeling are acutally good reason..

main point for everyone to remember is that in attendance is not money in well brought-up credit... this is a very significant most people dont realize.... desperate credit means more fees and most highter interste rates that are charged.

the fundamental reason your credit is artificial by inquires is because if you constally trying to get credit it funds that you might be over extening your self.... for example if you open up a current credit card every month it means that you constally hold a need to win credit which means that you hold a lower chance of paying your harmonize if something were to take place

kinda of a scam if you ask me.... remember that inquires alone will not I repeat will not negativly affect for your credit for longer than a few months. Only repeat attempts at getting credit over a long period of time will really bring down your score.

thanks
it's major to understand that while EXCESSIVE frozen inquires can lower your score a bit, it's not the closing stages of a good credit gain. As was mentioned within previous posts, it's a measure of "credit desire". If you hold 6 or more inquires in a six month term it raisies eyebrows. It's all nearly averages. The average person doesn't call for six new cards within such a short period.

If i bring in a clearance 3 days slow it will be shown on my credit report?

Question:
please help

Answer:
As long as you are in 30 days there is no channel it will show up on your report, as the first negative splotch starts at 30 days late. The credit reporting agencies enjoy no way to track anything smaller number than that. However, if you get to 31 days deferred then expect it to show up.

But you should expect to enjoy some late recompense charges applied. If it is a credit card expect it to be at least $30. So you definatly don't want to breed a habbit of it.
If this is the first time, then most predictable no. But if this has happen before repeatedly, afterwards it might show up.
The posting date is what is important. If its a first-time article then you are 99% ok. If its a chronic problem consequently I would expect it to show up.
BOA charge me $39.00 4 one day unpunctually.due date 12 post date 09 rec.13. don't know if they report or not .
No not at all, U are adjectives the way staight. The creditor have to report it 2 a collections agency first and then they'll threaten u a lil bit 2 go and get u 2 pay the money afterwards after a while it'll be recorded that u r jus negligant and afterwards it'll be reported to the credit bureau and thrown on ur report but u will receive letters stating whats expected and what will start. It takes a lil minute but a lil ways from 3 days honey. Ur ok, dont catch into a habit of paying past due if u dont have 2, the better rotten u will be as far as ur credit rating.
No Most Companys wont report it unless it is 30 days past due.
no they wont it have to be 30 days past due formerly it shows up late on your credit burea
No, it have to be late a full 30 days after the pocket money date, go to www.adviceontime.com for more info.
It shouldn't. Late payments are not reported unless they're 30 days or more. While it won't show up on your report, if it's a credit card you're paying, expect to see a in arrears fee on your subsequent statement. If it's your first time, you may be able to hold them reverse it as a one-time courtesy...
