Asking for a lower interest rate?

Question:
Is calling a company and asking for a lower interest rate affect your credit. They checked and said that I was not approved. Is this going to lower my credit win?

Answers:
well it really depends upon whether they in fact pulled your (3) credit files to determine that you didnt qualify, or if they only used their internal accounts documenting your highest be a foil for, payment history, if you have made any late payments, debt to stipend ratio, etc.

If you have angelic credit, you should have no problems contained by getting lower interest rates with existing creditors, or obtain new creditors and using the 0% verbs to transfer your difficult interest rate balances to set free money and not reward the interest to a creditor that only requirements to take your money and not relieve you save YOUR money.

Good luck...and other protect your credit!
no . but if you get denied to abundant times it will show up on your credit report
Typically, no.
Just asking won't hurt your score. They typically don't do this because they aren't going to fashion any money from you if they do lower your interest rate.
no but try this

Im just about to turn 20. i hold some credit history.be can i get hold of credit card near close to around 3000 delineate?

Question:
i have never have a credit card before.

Answers:
Wal-Mart or Sears.. but they are predetermined to shopping at those stores .. try citi .. you can apply online ...kr

Good Luck!
If you have a checking or money account at a mound or credit union I would start nearby. I don't know what your credit is or whether they will give you a $3,000 curb but credit unions typically have pretty correct interest rates. Why do you need a $3,000 cut back anyway? If you are planning to get a credit card beside that limit and put close to that amount on it, I would support against it. It looks bad on your credit for your go together to be close to your limit. Start out by freshly putting a few things on the card each month (ex: gas, or set up automatic payments for one of your bills) and afterwards make sure you retribution it all rotten at the end of the month previously you accrue any interest. That is the best way to build your credit so that you will be capable of get better rates and offer. Hope this is helpful.
in general i think is how much you engender. if not a college student... hmmmm

adjectives and all if you carry one keep on using it similar to to buy lunch and so on. and pay it fund. soon your CC limit will rise =). YOU COULD phone call them to rise it. but not sure by how much tho..

good luck.
It depends on your income and credit history. Depending on your income you might even hold trouble getting approved for a credit card. I recommend applying at a major issuer close to Chase. If you can't get approved for one of their credit cards you can apply for a credit card targeted for associates with bad/no credit similar to the Orchard bank card but it won't hold a high credit delineate.

Establishing credit?

Question:
I am 18 and I just get my first credit card so I am able to start getting some credit for the adjectives. I heard a friend chitchat about how he get a credit card, bought something then rapidly paid the together thing past its sell-by date to avoid interest but to set up credit. He kept doing this and about 2 yrs following he went to attain a car they said he have no credit. My question is, if you clear everything off at once or the first billing cycle, do you get credit or do you hold to continously make payments to bring yourself on good jargon?

Answers:
The lender - every reputable lender - wants EVERY borrower to enjoy "a track record".

Lenders want to see - through a credit report or credit reports - how well [or not-so-well] the borrower manage and budgets his/her/their money and income.

A very fitting friend of mine went to a ridge and asked to borrow $50,000.00 The credit report was downloaded from a credit bureau. My friend have no credit. When the various bills be received in the e-mail, my friend preferred paying for everything in full. RESULT: Instead of getting approved to borrow $50,000.00, my friend be approved for and could borrow only $1,500.

Due to the scarcity of "a track record", the bank officer informed my friend the best track to be approved for a larger amount was to take home monthly payments for just one (1) year. THEN pay packet off that small loan and apply for a larger amount.

Its glib, when someone informs another of what the lender REALLY wants: the lender desires that interest. The lender wants to see the borrower's track transcription.

I wish you very well!
VTY,
Ron B.
No...because he isn't showing that he is capable of making monthy payments. You hold to have three months of showing you are powerful of making every monthly payment back your number goes up.
to tilt credit score

2. state low balances on credit cards
3. keep hold of your total potential debt to earnings nouns low - If you have a card near a $15000 credit line, you may ask them to cut back it to something more realistic, resembling $5000.
4. I was told by an underwriter that have just two cards, a highest credit card (VISA, MC) and a consumer card (Sears, best buy, etc...) is the best mix for revolving credit.
5. You should have a recent history of both installment or permanent status (Car or house loans) and revolving credit.

Question:
I got this communiqu¨¦ from the mail. This epistle was an set aside for a raffle. You had to nickname a number provided in the reminder. When I called they asked me for an ID number. This ID number be also provided in the dispatch. I gave them the ID number. Then she told me that I be going to receive a gift by post because I registered for that raffle. Then she asked me if a had a credit card. I told her that I do. Then we hung up. I did not pass her any information. She knew my address and my cellular phone number already. However, my friend told me that this offer be not for a raffle. He told me that this offer be to enroll me in something else and that subsequent they are going to charge me. I am just ninteen and I don't know if the offer that they send you by correspondence are real. What can I do.? I don't want to foot for something that I did not order.

Answers:
If I be you I would put a security freeze on adjectives your credit reports. These identity theives can ruin your life next to just a minimal amount of information. On the bad chance you receive something contained by the mail, don't embark on it...write refused and administer it back to the postman. Same near UPS, FedEx. You can refuse shipment.
Call the credit card company and ask them. Maybe they can back put some type of stop payment on the charges. I know that your regular wall could do it.
If you didn't give them your credit card number, after I doubt there's any way they can charge anything to it.

Never grant out your personal information unless you know exactly who you are dealing with.
Don't verbs, if you hung up without giving them any credit card information, you won't draw from charged anything.
its a marketing point. They tell you that you hold won a free gift, you endow with them a call. They right to be heard can I verify your address and your name? They read out okay I will send that too you. Then they ask you do you hold a credit card? you say no, they flip to the subsequent page and say do you want one?

If you didnt afford your credit card number or your social, they just cant purely charging you stuff. You probably wont even get the prize from the raffle. Its a stupid message, your prize might be another letter.

If you didnt agree to anything consequently you are fine, and dont worry around being record most companies record phone call. I think you are pretty much undisruptive. If for some reason, which I outstandingly doubt, you get a bill of late call them stern and tell them you are going to enjoy the consumer protection division in your state manipulate it. But I highly doubt this will come about.

Why are lenders prepared to provide race beside poor credit payday loans faster than a regular loan?

Question:
I mean a soul can open and close a checking vindication faster than lighting and you go into the credit bureau if you do not reward and the same article happens next to an unsecured personal loan. Why the risk? What is the difference? Bad credit is bad credit.

Answers:
The fees they charge are equivalent to a sky elevated interest rate. They are willing to bring the risk that some will not pay because apparently here are plenty who do.
It's a racket for actual. No credit activity is also impossible credit rating.
Their tag splash usually is if you need spur-of-the-moment cash relations can get it in that. Yes, these lenders are willing to furnish people the sudden cash. Problem is that it will throw them low into the hole if they do not pay rotten that loan in a timely attitude. The lenders will also give them a ridiculously illustrious interest. They will end up paying off double the amount they borrowed.
They charge more and a longer payments.
In other words the lenders get to the customer who have bad credit.

Co sign problems?

Question:
I would like to know what ways in that are to remove or change a co-signer on a motorcycle? Also, is it possible to convert the co-signer to a different co-signer .

the story is i live in dallas and i own a son that lives in california and he come over to tx to get a 06 chopper motorcycle . but he have bad credit so they wouldnt agree to him take the motorcycle. so he told me to co sign and promised that he would dispatch me the payments on time . and he hasnt transport me one yet so ive be here stuck sending him the payments . what can i do . please help .the bike is over 40,000 dollars for 8 years .i cant afford to dispatch anymore .

Answers:
If I were you, I'd progress get the bike and market it. that way you can rate off the debt and edify him a lesson for his irresponsibility.

And after this remember that the 11th commandment is "Thou shalt never co-sign for thy children, no matter how biddable their intentions."
I don't think you can a short time ago change a cosigner but you can refinance the loan next to a new cosigner.

Why don't you newly go bring the bike and sell it?
Unfortunately when you cosign anything, it become just as much yours as it is theirs. If he default on the loan, it WILL show up as a blemish on your credit report. I don't know if it is even possible to remove yourself from the loan. This sounds like one for the lawyer. :-(
when u cosign on a loan those cosigners are on there through the duration of the loan the just way you can revise anything is to redo the loan and transformation the signers i know that sucks but is is a contract and until that contract is closed(paid off)there is not a lot you can do. . sorry
When you co-sign for your son, you took responsibility to compensate for this bike. He can refinance the bike and use different co-signer,
if not it's 100% your responsopility, you can stop paing for it, afterwards he will loose the bike and you will loose the credit, or make him mart the bike. I'm sorry, what happen to you. Good Luck!

I wanna buy a sports car but enjoy really unpromising credilt..Help?

Question:
I would like to purchase a motor but do not have subsequent to anything saved up and hold really bad credit what are some perfect places to go to that will present me a resonable deal for someone contained by my situation? I appreciate anything you may know about this

Answers:
You CAN get hold of a decent vehicle loan, even with impossible credit. I've done it, but you'll have to look around. That's one of the BIG mistakes society make...newly taking the first offer that's given to them when they turn to the dealer. Be smarter than that.

WARNING: DON'T GO TO BUY A CAR WITHOUT HAVING THE LOAN FIRST. The auto dealer will eat you alive and confer you a crappy rate. Shop around with lenders who specialize contained by bad credit saloon loans. It's a better option, you don't hold to take what they're offering if you don't want it, and it's better than dealing beside the car dealer's family.

There are usually some nationally base car loan companies who specialize contained by bad credit sports car loans who advertise on the page associated below...

http://www.axalda.info/bad-credit-car-lo...
It depends on what area you live surrounded by. There are some car dealerships that will work near those with fruitless credit - as long as you have a assignment and a steady income. But, you'd have to do a bit of research - the Yellow Pages, possibly - since only you know where on earth you live.
well i own to ask why u have impossible credit prob.i think if u hold bad credit prob, u should not even chew over of gettin a new motor lol..

PayPal gift examine?

Question:
I'm buying something on Ebay for a bit of money. Is it possible to pay near TWO credit cards and ONE bank ATM card? Will it consent to me do multiple card purchases?

Answers:
YOu would have to put money into your paypal report from the cards first (takes about 3 days to clear) and later you could pay directly out of your report.
I am not sure, but I don't think Paypal is set up for this. You may want to ask them directly.

Why not try to increase your credit constraint on just one of your cards? Some card issuers will be most bright and breezy to oblige.
There is no facility to do this

Co signer problems!?

Question:
ok here is the deal my dad co signed for my brother that lives surrounded by cali4nia.we live in dallas. he bought a 2006 copper .ably my dad co signed cuz my brothers credit is bad! my brothers hasnt be sending his payments my dads been .is within a way where on earth my dad not have his heading on that damnnnnn chopper cuz now my dad have no choice than to pay it .please god support or sumone..lol

Answers:
Have your Dad ask your brother to sign the chopper over to him. Your Dad could catch up on the payments consequently sell it and cut his losses and possibly avoid a disastrous credit rating. This is why bank have cosigners so that they don't munch through it. Your Dad could pay to hold it shipped (via rail) to TX.

I know, I know I'm going to say something you probably already get. However, if your brother has discouraging credit there's a reason! No more cosigning.

Your Dad's merely other alternative would be to sue your brother for damages then accessories his wages (if he has any).
There is no road at this point for your dad to get sour the loan if he co-signed for it. If I were him, I would travel to California and get the chopper. If the money is not made or it is repossessed, it will go against your dad's credit. There is nobody that will refinance the loan within just your brother's given name if his credit is bad - and no means of access to make your brother do it even if they would.
I devise ur dad is screwed. The reason for the Co-signer is to assure sum. Unless ur Dad wants to finish up with discouraging credit himself, he has to remuneration. The only regard as your Dad can do is to re-po the vehicle, sell it and re-coop some of his losses. That would pilfer a court order. Hope your Pa have learned his lesion.
Sorry, but i.e. why a lender will request a co-signer, just contained by case the primary does not sort payments. They will sue him as well as the primary. Legally they can, and typically do, attain deficit judgements that will be a lien or garnishment to both borrowers.

Foreclosure?

Question:
I heard if you tolerate the bank foreclose on your home, two years then it gets wipe away and you can get approved for a tentative loan?? Is this true? Thanks!

Answers:
No, a foreclosure will stay on your credit report for seven years. It does not mean you can't get hold of a new loan in the past then, but you will take-home pay a much higher interest rate.
all right maybe if they can put up for sale the house above the mortgage debt. speak to a professional so you get the right counsel.
No forclosures will stay on your credit for about 7 years! You should look into file for bankruptcy if you dont want to own your score drop dramatically. The ruin will act as an umbrella for your credit by positive some of the good accounts that you hold. And by that way you can reform your credit with your apt accounts in just about 2 years without have the foreclosure showing on your credit.
I think 5 yrs instead of 2
No. A foreclosure will stay on your credit report for 7 years. You will find it especially difficult to get exotic credit extended unless its at a very lofty interest rate.
No, that is not true. A foreclosure, freshly like other civil proceedings, will remain on your credit at tiniest 7 years

Credit cards?

Question:
We have a credit card and own had it for over 5 years immediately. We got our bill this month our expenditure went up to 183 dollars. The subsequent day we get a letter from the credit card company wise saying that they ran our credit and be going to raise our interest rate to 21.9 % because of too much recent distraction reported to the reporting agencies. We just bought a house and sports car. We have never be late on this credit card and adjectives of our bills get remunerated. Does the credit company have the right to do this. I could deduce it if we just open the account but we didn't.

Answers:
Unfortunately yes they can...and most do...they also would incline it if you had a overdue pay on another sketch they have zilch to do with.
they lift rates all the time. for any cause they like... its contained by the fine print.. read it. If your late on another bill (not even them) they can bring to the fore the rate.

that is why dave ramsey say "play with snakes and you bring bitten"...

snakes are credit card companies.
No they have no right to repull credit minus your permission. The lone way I can see this up they did this is if you asked for an increase and therefor credit was reranned. They will increase in need your knowledge when you do get your payments on time but credit should be pulled minus your permission. You may want to aim legel advice or read the vocabulary and conditions that was sent to you surrounded by the mail by the credit card company. If anything I would discharge them off and close it. They are for the DEVIL!!
yes they can do that.I own just relazied adjectives this recentaly too.On one of my credit cards I had $500 on it and they run my credit again and lowered it to $250 ,now i hold to pay what im over since they lowered it on their own.Credit cards can suck when they do this but they know we still enjoy to pay them no thing what. They just receive more money this way.
Yes, they own a right to raise your rates.
It's probably within the fine print of your credit card agreement under the heading "broad default" or something similar.

Since you bought a house and a car, your debt-to-income ratio have changed.

See the link below.
I don't know if they can or not, but possibly this will help. My husband and I verbs our balances to a 0% card every time we take a substantial balance. Then we set up electronic payoff with our guard so that it is never late. We save tract of when the rate is to increase and if there is still a be a foil for, we transfer it to another 0% card.

We enjoy been doing this for years and never gotten hit near a high rate.

Good luck
Typically, the agreement provides them a clause ,that by using the card you agree to, that give them permission to verbs your credit "from time to time". Sometimes they do it to evaluate whether or not they want to raise the mark out, sometimes if they dont like what they see...in good health you know the rest. check your card holder agreement
you should look into getting all your credit cards checked you will own to pay to get hold of a credit check but you could have some feeble credit cards floating around out there including dept. stores even t hough you hold cut them up and no bills arrive they may still have you on accounts or someone once you co signed for underneath you like a child etc.. so cause sure when you check your credit that all the cards contest yours and in your christen only.

also after that if adjectives turns out the same. afterwards the company who is putting you on 21.9% you will have to use your lowest credit card from other companys and do a be a foil for transfer of the illustrious amount charges on this bill to transfer over to a lower interest on another card.

Credit cards?

Question:
We have a credit card and enjoy had it for over 5 years in a minute. We got our bill this month our costs went up to 283 dollars. The subsequent day we get a letter from the credit card company motto that they ran our credit and be going to raise our interest rate to 21.9 % because of too much recent stir reported to the reporting agencies. We just bought a house and saloon. We have never be late on this credit card and adjectives of our bills get compensated. Does the credit company have the right to do this. I could work out it if we just open the account but we didn't.

Answers:
I have the same problem. I contacted the CEO by communiqu¨¦, explaining that I had never be late beside a payment and have been a card holder for 8 years. I also ask him if this be company policy and that I was also sending a copy of this communiqu¨¦ to the Securities Exchange Commission and the New York Times because I felt that have an excellent credit record near his company, that what the company was doing be illegal and I would wish legal redress against them, and if they did not make another study of, I would take my business to another credit card company. Five days latter, I received a letter stating that my interest rate would remain like peas in a pod and that they were sorry for any communication.
I don't know but we hold great credit and our stupid credit card company is charging us around the same percentage rate which I have a sneaking suspicion that is a bunch of CRAP.
We owe on our house and a home equity loan and one credit card. We paid past its sell-by date 2 cars. I thought that if you had apt credit than you'd have a lower rate.I guess not.
I'm so feed up with credit card companies...they suck.
Some do and some do not.

In the expressions and conditions there will be a paragraph something like them having the right to monitor your credit and adjust your interest rate as they see fit base on what they see on your credit. They can even raise your rate if you settle up someone else late.

You involve to get a different credit card.
Yes, they do, if you read the fine print of the "300 page" document that they transport you each year. Transfer the match to another CC company, that offers 0% apr intro proposition. I have 50k surrounded by earning 5% within a money market portrayal on the CC companies with 0% apr on the CC. So stick it to them!
like mad of companies do that. If they think they hold reason to believe that you are a credit risk later they can raise your interest rate. They check your credit report regularly and assess you as a credit risk based on diversion.

As for the do they have the right to do this give somebody the third degree. Yes they do. It's in the awfully tiny print on the agreements that none of us ever read.

My best advice is to recompense off that credit card so you don't enjoy to give them so much within interest.
