if you hold 2 snakes can i add another(s)? yeeees. depends on how much risk you want to expose yourself to self bitten. cc are like snakes they will bite you if you play next to them.

get the book Total money makeover by dave ramsey. best personal nouns book i ever read. i wish i have read it before i added other cc to gross a total of 7 only to mess up after i get laid off and they needed to be feed these snakes. and they all turned on me. sometimes it ain't even stupidity or once bad habit. Usa today did a study recently that found most of us are inside an emergency of financial disaster and today that may come in the form of getting let go. miss one pay check and everything we are building up (unfortunately) on credit become due as it still needs a clearance.

my humble advise is only just get the book formerly you delve into more cc cards. if people get off the bridge you don't enjoy to do it because every body else is doing it. stay safe stay lacking snakes oh ah i mean cc. earnings cash for everything and what you own smells physical good, looks honest and you actually close to it. and you can do it. just go and get the book.
Of course you can. Just be careful applying for greatly of credit in a short amount of time because it can in actuality lower your score . Creditors will start to focus that you are going to end up over extending yourself. If you hold good credit, hold on to it that way. :)

Once i own screwed up so royally is there any passageway to rebuild my credit, or will it be blackballed completely?
Please comfort with any physical information!

Answers:
well the road to credit retrieval can be a long one. And there are frequent ways to do it.

First off are you going to pay packet the collections off? How prehistoric are they. If you are going to pay them rotten make sure you negotiate near the debt collectors and don't just repay it. First they will take an amount smaller number than the full amount. Second you can make the remove the collection from your credit report. If they say aloud they can't do that they are wrong.

So that will begin the process. And spawn sure anything you work out with them get put into writing before you rate out.

Time will also help. Most creditors will cold-shoulder late payments after in the order of 2 years and in 7 years the narrative has to be removed from your credit unless it is a judgement or lien.

The subsequent step is one of two things...the fastest way to bring your gain up is to "inject" credit. What this means is that if you enjoy a family branch or friend that has a credit card that they own had for 2, 3, or more years. They can include you as a card holder. What this does is that account for as long as they enjoy had it reports onto your report. So produce sure that it is an established account and doesn't hold a high set off on it. Assure them that it will not affect them at all and that you don't own to have or use their card.

Or you can gain a SECURED credit card. What this is is kinda like ridge account. Your credit shorten is determined by the amount of money you have deposited next to the credit company. Everything is the same as a regular credit card except that you enjoy to have the money to confer them first.

Also you can check your credit report for free once a year at freecreditreport.com you should keep track of it within and make sure everything on it is legal. If there is false accounts on your report here are things you can do for that. But that is another story.

Hope this help some.
check with the credit bureau. they stay on your diary for 7 years before they are removed.
You can consolidate your bills and salary them out and while you are doing this it will bring your fico score up. Which is your credit chalk up. You can apply for a gas card and pay it sour every month and that will bring your fico up. Do not worry. Almost everyone have been where on earth you are at. It will be ok.i Promise
If you pull a credit report in that will be info on how to contact the people that you owe after you just phone call them and pay it. afterwards once thats taken care of you hold to start over rebuilding posative credit by establisdhing a few credit accounts and paying them ontime every time
You need to verbs your credit report at https://www.annualcreditreport... You will be able to take the names and address of the people you owe (usually you can at most minuscule get the phone number). Start calling to try to work out settlement arrangments. Your best home is to try to win an arrangment that includes removal of the collection effort from your register. Please see this website for great tips on how to rebuild your credit.

PS race who tell you that it will simply fall bad after 7 years are 100% completly and totally wrong. After 7 years the original collection application will fall sour but the place you incurred the debt with will reassign to a fresh collector, so it will show up back on your report.
Follow these simple guidelines to minister to restore and improve your credit win.

First, make sure adjectives the information on your credit report is accurate.

Second, try to pay past its sell-by date all or any accounts that are currently surrounded by collections or make clearing arrangements with the creditor to compensate off the match monthly.

Third, any credit card that is over 50% of the available credit splash should be paid down to lower than half of your total credit queue. Your credit score is lowered when your available match is over 50% of your total credit line.

Finally, if you enjoy bad or no credit and enjoy no credit cards try to obtain two credit cards and get sure all of your monthly payments are made prompt. This will help increase your credit gain. If you cannot be approved for a unsecured credit card, obtain a secured credit card.

Repairing your credit and shooting up your credit score is a slow process that take time. Just be patient and follow these steps and you should be doing a tour to better credit!
Start by contacting the creditors and seeing what can be done. Then, order you credit reports and start getting it straightened out. No event how bad it is, it can be fixed. Check out http://www.newmillcredit.com Good information is at hand. Hope this helps.

What is the best road to build my credit?

Question:
I just get my first Credit card with a $500 bound...How do i get my credit put a ceiling on higher, and whats the best approach to get my credit ranking up higher.

Answers:
First it would minister to to know what makes up your credit gain:

1. Payment history- 35%
2. Total debt owed vs. Available credit 30%
3. Length of time establishing credit 15%
4. Types of credit establihsed 10%
5. Inquiries and New accounts 10%

As you can see, #1 & #2 are the most important. So beside that said, paying on time and not maxing out your card is the 2 best things that you can do as far as working your means of access to a higher closing date. Make small purchases (around $20-50/month) so that you don't go over 25% of your available credit. For example you should spend no more that $125 on your card, to be okay.

And as far as to get hold of your score high. One thing that you don't want to do is apply for a bunch of credit cards. You already hold one and you'll need to linger at least a year for that pay history to show up on your report before more offer can come to you. After you get that, you may want to apply for a department store credit.

Finally, enroll near PRBC. They're a new credit bureau that report payments close to rent, insurace, utlities. etc. in a score report that can be used along with your credit reports. There's plentifully that is covered on that website, I strongly advocate you check it out!
Pay all your bills on the dot. Don't ever be late, it take 6 months to recover from of late 1 late wage. Also, keep your match low, maybe even to where on earth you can pay it past its sell-by date at the end of the month.
simply use half of what your cut-off date is and pay more than your minimum on the dot. Keep these simple two steps and they will up your limit next to no problem.
Well, you are on the right track at getting your credit established by getting a credit card. As you continue to use your card and form your payments on time your credit time limit will rise, which will also raise your credit. It newly takes time and leniency. I have credit card near Washinton Mutual, and they allow you to check your credit score for free, so you can see where on earth you are at. Also, check out some of these sites for tips on building credit:

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/col...

http://banking.about.com/od/loans/a/buil...

Good luck! Basically bring it slow. Get one more credit card--that's it, and possibly get your moniker on some bills--PG&E(power and electricity).
Make sure you pay sour the entire balance respectively month or at the very lowest keep the set off under 50% of the creidt shorten. this will make a great different. You should be fine after 6 months of paying on the dot.
pay adjectives bills on time
not stir over you limit
and don't spend more afterwards 50 % of your limit
First of adjectives paying off the be a foil for every month is a BAD idea to build credit.. the cards dont brand name any money that way because interest cant apply. the FICO evaluation calculates best with %30 of the credit curb as a rolling balance (so on a $500 card hold a balance of $150 month to month). It's also historic to keep the payments prompt every time, and keep a mix of different types of debt (car loans, credit cards, mortgage, personal loans, etc), however things similar to utility bills and apartment rent only take reported if your late. some gym memborships will report posative info. It's meaningful however to keep your DTI (Debt to income ration) around %30-%40 as all right. IE: if you make $4k per month your debts should be around $900-$1200. after 3 years of adjectives of these factors staying steady your credit ranking will be as close to perfect as it can grasp.
I ought to get rewarded for what I'm about to put in the picture you!
1st, go buy something you involve, spend only 1/2 your credit amount.
2nd, when paying sour, pay more next the little min. payment;you should try paying prompt each time.
3rd, after a yr, ask for a increase to your explanation, from the $500.00 limit it sounds similar to a card with illustrious APR %.
Nut shell: creditors look at how long, how many cards applided for ( capture just 2-3max ) visa-mastercard,discovery;ther... are merely a few banks that handel adjectives the various credit cards - at closing look I counted 6 banks and a short time ago 1 holds close to 50 different credit cards by other names,so save your spending at 50% of account max.
to incline credit score

1. Always retribution on time or ahead of time.
2. allege low balances on credit cards
3. preserve your total potential debt to earnings nouns low - If you have a card near a $15000 credit line, you may ask them to cut back it to something more realistic, close to $5000.
4. I was told by an underwriter that have just two cards, a foremost credit card (VISA, MC) and a consumer card (Sears, best buy, etc...) is the best mix for revolving credit.
5. You should have a recent history of both installment or possession (Car or house loans) and revolving credit.

You can report them, if you need, but nothing will be done. They haven't broken any law thus far.

Sorry to tell you this, but rudeness and pushiness isn't against the decree. It's boorish behavior, but not illegal behavior.

You are experiencing what nearly everyone who is hounded by a collector go through.
Yes, under the FDCPA nearby are laws that govern collections agencies and their practices. Go to http:/www.ftc.gov and you can receive a whole run down on what they can and can not do. Not just that, send them a stop and desist letter via certified e-mail asking them not to contact you anymore. Although they can still report the debt to the credit bureaus, you can stop the collection calls unresponsive in their tracks. Hope this help! I almost forgot, when it comes to collections, according to the FDCPA, rudeness ( like voiced abuse, threats, etc. ), hounding, and improper collection policy are AGAINST THE LAW and they can be sued for violating any of the law outlined in the FDCPA. I know this because I own and operate a credit repair company.
I've help a lot of ethnic group fight beside collection agents, and filed several FDCA lawsuits.

Acermill is pretty much correct. If you say is reasonably accurate, they haven't broken the law (yet). Cali posted the regulation for you in a previous message, so your first brief is to read and study it.

Don't waste your time writing the FTC, FCC, FBI, CIA or any other senate agency, as they do not assist you with any civil remedies. The FTC and Attorney Generals department will track complaints, but won't step in unless within is a lot of complaint.

So what can you do to encounter these guys?

1) You need to know the law! In Texas, are you aware that they can not garnish wages? If this company be to sue you, they would need to locate property, or find your dune accounts. It's not easy for creditors to collect.that's why they choose to harrass you. Trust me, you haven't see anything yet!

2) The Fair Debt Collections Act states that if you dispatch these guys a certified letter/return receipt, and state that they are not to telephone call you at home or work, or call your friends or relatives, they must end. You can also include mail correspondence too, but contained by come cases if they can't contact you at all, they may purely file a lawsuit. But at most minuscule sending them a Cease and Desist letter will stop the phone call and harassment.

Remember, the principle collection agents get away next to what they are doing is because most people do not know their allowed rights. Once you show them you do, they will behave.
Yes, file beside the FTC, you local BBB, your AG and the AG of the state the collector is in and their BBB

I be belatedly on my credit card payments for three straight months. How much will that affect my credit chalk up?

Question:
My credit score be 750 before this happen and I have not checked it since the tardy payments which were Mar,Apr,May of this year. My wife be handling the finances and payed a $50 minumum payment every month instead of looking to see if the minumum salary had raise which it did of course. I call Chase(credit card co.)and they said all three get reported to the credit burea. Anyone have any planning on how to get them to remove the deferred payments? Then how bad will my credit be messed up and is within anything I could do know to affect my position? The good entity is I own a home, have not be late on my morgage, sports car payments or anything else. Help!

Answers:
It will hurt. Especially with 3 of them. It could cost you 20-40 points. They will not come stale for years. Chase will not remove them. There's nothing you can do. You're not going to approaching this part of my answer, but it's true. She's not to blame for this disaster, you are: she's not to be yell at for your error in judgement. One next to good credit take responsibility for their own payments. That's why it's YOUR credit. Married or not, if it's in your pet name YOU need to be responsible.
roughly 40 points
I would throw the largest, most annoying tantrum to try to get yourself out of this :) Call the company, threaten to shut down the credit card - threaten to write packages - it was an HONEST mistake. They certianly hold the ability to rectify the ding on your credit - and variety it clear to them that unless they do, you will not do business with them

A ninety daytime ding will take your win down into the 600s. Definitely try to get it fixed.
You can put an explanation on your credit report so that anyone who pulls it also see the explanation. But everyone doesn't always look for explanations. I would a moment ago catch put a bet on up. As those three months get farther out within the past and you haven't have any recent bad payments your rack up will recover though it could help yourself to up to 7 years to fully recover.
Chase is a bunch of you know what's. Don't verbs about it. Late credit card payments go down off after solitary a year so long as they weren't seriously late or contained by default. If you take-home pay everything else on time, don't verbs about it. Keep your Chase picture for another 6 months while paying it on time and after close it. That way it with the sole purpose shows up as a "customer closed account" paid contained by full type of thing. You can try the outdated "I'm going to close my account and verbs my debt if you don't remove it" But, make sure you can craft good on it. If you've never remunerated late beforehand and have a long track journal with them they should realize that stupid mistakes happen and guardianship enough give or take a few keeping your business to remove it.
Chase is one of the very worst. But likelihood are you are still in the 700s and can smoothly get another card. So call for them, explain the mistake, calmly apologize for making the mistake, and request they remove it. And be sure to say-so if they don't within 45 days, you'll verbs all symmetry to another card and close the account.

You are efficiently in a position to do it. And Chase usually does not hold the best rates or terms.
The best entity to do is just start paying regularly, forget roughly speaking the mistake, and let it dust out of your FICO score over time.

In the FICO rack up, Payment History counts for 175 out of your 550 earnable points in a FICO gain (which ranges from 300 to 850). Here's an excerpt taken from the description at http://www.uthunk.com/ . You can go within for more details on the FICO formula:

Payment History is a whopping 175 points and is the most complex. Late payments are killers here apperently. One deferred payment on an installment loan can wipe away 5 years of righteous payments. 60 days and 90 days erode your score surrounded by this category faster than water on your sandcastles. Collections are similar to grenades. And there is no effortless fix except time and consistent good payments. The max is around 175 if adjectives your accounts in the recent past 6-7 years are paid prompt. ALL of them. Late payments are weighted (mean more) if they are more recent….and tend to be less destructive as they appear surrounded by the past. They “weight” these by looking at respectively account, seeing the reporting per month and seeing if respectively month was on the dot, 30 days late, 60, etc. They are not kid when they say “pay your accounts on time”. At smallest the minimums. Paying more than minimum does not count here (THAT will come up in the extended credit piece if your balances are too high). They lone want to see your payment history. Apparently in that is no leeway or tolerance surrounded by this section. This tell them (creditors) how serious you are in paying your bills.

Credit card that give brass support or similar bounses for paying college tuition?

Question:
My cousin has 3 boys that enjoy college paid for (he is a doctor) but he wishes to mop up the payments through a credit card each month that give him cash-back, or hotel or airline miles. What is the BEST DEAL out there?

Answers:
Sounds approaching my strategy. I basically bathe everything I buy through credit cards and pay by match in full every month. I do this to maximize my credit card reward yield.

Your cousin is probably going to want either the AmEx Blue Cash (up to 1.5% spinal column on the tuition), AmEx Blue Sky (1.33% back, but lone toward travel), Chase Freedom (1.25% back near limits), or Citi Driver's Edge card. However, it's difficult to say exactly which one because it depends on how much he's going to spend and surrounded by which categories (e.g. restaurants, gas, grocery, etc.) aside from tuition payments.

You can use this rewards calculator to see which card will wages your cousin the most for his spending profile:
http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/...

That calculator translates all profits, whether frequent flyer miles or other points, into dollars to allow for an apples-to-applies comparison. Just hover over a credit card name to see an explanation of the conversion technique. The calculator also finds the best *combinations* of cards for a given spending profile contained by case you really want to optimize your income.
Before doing this, he should make sure that the college doesn't charge extra for paying near a credit card. Most colleges these days do charge a levy. For example, the university I attend charges an additional 3% for paying by credit card. Since I don't enjoy any cards with rewards that exceed 3%, it doesn't give a hand me at all to charge my tuition to a rewards card.
Chase have a great plan. what ever you do tell his to stay away from Bank of America. They sometimes do not honor their reward plans

Can I procure a vehicle loan if my undertaking doesn't start for one month?

Question:
I am looking to get a motor loan for about $30,000 and my available job does not start for a month. I just finished grad academy and have a missive of employment that states my start date and salary of $140,000. My credit ranking is above 700.

Is there anywhere that I could find this loan? I know that there is college graduate financing at oodles dealers, but will the rates be too soaring? Will my bank support me out?

Answers:
I seriously do not know of one good reputable place that will lift you (with a good rate) if you don't start your undertaking for another month. And if they do, you will have to put a huge down recompense down.

You might be lucky because you have a memo of employement.

The very best place to step is a credit union or your wall, because the car dealerships will *** rape you into a HUGE interest rate.

Good luck!!
Auto nouns is what I do for a living and you should not have a problem.

I enjoy been through this near customers several times and it's not a big deal if your credit is suitable.

I would try your own personal bank or credit federation first.
go to your edge for the loan with adjectives your paperwork it should not a problem. The amount of 30K could be depending on your past credit history
Auto finance--they'll amount out a way (at the saloon dealer). At a bank, perchance more difficult--bring letter of employment.
My friend, you will not own a problem. Others have mentioned going to your bank institution - with whom you hold a financial relationship. I also think this is the road to go. But, if your a moral haggler, you may have some luck right at the dealership. My husband get an incredible lease with a sturdy purchase price (a good one) after five years.
The one and only thing around the dealership is you have to way of walking out if they're not willing to play orb - also, go at the cease of the month.

Congratulations on your fantastic salary - it sounds approaching lending institutions would be more than likely to loan you 20% of your annual salary (especially beside your credit).
I dont have the best of credit, powerfully in reality its kinda bad, but I be able to gain car loan since I do enjoy a job which is above all what this place cared most roughly speaking for me. They are one of these places that have multiple sources and they speak like 99 percent approved. So I would impart this site a try.

I hold a credit card bill that i enjoy not payed for over seven years and i would approaching to fix it.?

Question:

Answers:
Sorry, but a lot of these answers are not so true. The "myth" of 7 years is exactly that: a myth. It have gone to collections, has already be charged off by the credit card company. Now a 3rd carnival owns it. They have the right to refile for collections for 10 years. So within actuality, it can take 17 years to be removed. I didn't articulate this was other the case, but it can be done. And, have been done previously. Are you still receiving correspondence from the collection company? That will be the "hint" as to where you stand. You can gain a free credit report (all 3 agencies), by federal law, and I would suggest you do that first. It will communicate you when it will be removed. It will also list who have the debt. Then make a determination. The biggest factor is the amount of the debt. If no doings has be filed, after wait until after the 7 year and folder (write a letter asking for removal) next to the credit reporting agencies to have it exponged from your credit report(s). Good luck.
call for them, and see how much u owe and make a costs plane with them..
why
after six years you dont oew the debt anymore and yu dont enjoy to pay it. disappear well adequate alone. They have probably already ruined your credit over it so forget roughly speaking it and try to do better in the adjectives.
I am not sure where u live at but, surrounded by some states (most) If you owe a bill or one has be turned into collections, After 7 years it will be wiped stale your credit history>( yes, even without paying the bill) You may want to check this b4 u get arrangements to pay or b4 u contact them. Once arrangments or contact is made, it will be to tardy.
Call them and work out a payment plan. They may hold sent it to collections by now, but they should know how to help. It sounds approaching this could be damaging your credit. You can gain a free ebook on credit repair at http://www.your-credit-solution.com... . Good Luck.
This will show as a default on your credit--not a well brought-up thing. If you ever plan on getting a loan for a vehicle or a house, you should fix this. Contact the credit card company and work out a payment plan beside them.
Why?

Check your States statute of limitation and be sure that it have passed.

If it has nearby is nothing the creditor can do to you reasonably unless you agree.

After 7-years it drops from your credit anyway.
You can wirte letters to adjectives three credit agencies and request for it to be removed since it has reacked it's 7 year crest!

If I hold prefect credit and my mate have poor credit, will my rack up step down when we procure married?

Question:

Answers:
Only if you become an authorized user on their bad accounts. Do not tie yourself into their poor credit accounts.

You could reorganize their score by tallying them to your accounts in perfect standing though.

***UPDATE***
Actually, SCH missed a few things as well. First of adjectives, only one of the three bureaus will be rolling out the tentative FICO scoring in September. The other two won't lift authorized user accounts out of their equation until 2008.

Another thing SCH said to be exact completely wrong: "debt to income ratio...affect your score". No, Debt to Income does not in any path affect your score. The bureaus own no information on file in relation to your income. Perhaps what SCH was trying to right to be heard was that most lenders will consider your DTI, and this can negatively impact your opportunity to obtain credit.

I do believe that the largest question you have was whether or not getting married, contained by and of itself, would hit your score if your mate have a bad win. The simple answer is no. Your score is drawn from credit accounts beside your name on them.
You will hold a credit score and your mate will enjoy a credit score. Yours will not progress. However if the two of you want to buy a house and you need your mate income to qualify then the mate credit will affect your interest rate and or the ability to capture the loan.
1st of all what utopiafourteen say is wrong...in September FICO is shifting the formula to make it so an authorized user does not count positivly or negatively towards a soul...only mortal responsible for the debt makes affects your mark now.

No, your mark won't go down assuming you verbs to maintain your accounts. If you allow your mate negative spending conduct to affect yours then it will shift down (this is what happened next to my husband and me).

Also, if you choose to buy a house or car and both be on it afterwards you may have a problem if in that is a significant difference in your score. You also don't want to have adjectives the debt in your identify (mortgage, cars, credit cards) because this will lower your score contained by the long run too (debt to income ratio and types of credit affect your score).

I recomend keeping finances separate until your mate can prove that he/she is willing to work on their credit and fix things. Money problems is the number one effect of divorce in this country after adjectives!
