am i going to be held responsible??
Answers:
Protest this near the credit agencies and contract the lenders. It shouldn't make any difference they will be stale your credit report in 3 years when the charge offs are 7.5 years matured but they should be marked included contained by bankruptcy.
distribute a letter to credit agency and the company the debt be sold to, along with a copy of bankrupcty paperwork showing that debt be discharged
If the creditor is in your liquidation petition that it was included surrounded by the bankruptcy after it needs to be corrected. The current status should show "Included surrounded by bankruptcy" and have a 0 harmonize. If the current status is anything else you need to distribute a dispute into the credit reporting agency. Send a copy of your bankruptcy petition that shows the creditor to the Credit Reporting Agency. Once they carry the dispute they should correct it.
Send them a copy of the discharge papers...who cares if you be making up the payments...your credit is trashed with the collapse, the few payments you were making will not affect the credit rating.
Your dispute will move about nowhere. The creditor reported as "sold/transferred collection/CHARGE OFF". Once you filed collapse they wrote the debt off. Since explicitly what happened, that report will not exchange.

When experian corrects items on your credit report do the other two reporting agencies do one and the same?
Question:
Do all three credit reporting agencies work together to ensure exactness of individual credit reports?
Answers:
No they don't. You need to write a memo to each individual credit agency to find them to remove incorrect information.
I agree with the first answer & also.save checking your reports regularly because sometimes things that were removed can come fund!
NO! You have to write respectively individual company and ask them to remove the item, and often times it take a couple of letters if you don't own any hard evidence of a mistake.
More information give or take a few this subject can be found at http://www.alittlemorecredit.com...
It's actually on accounts that a CRA is supposed to notify other CRAs when there is a correction of incorrect information or a dispute resolution.
It rarely happen. You should follow up with respectively credit bureau individually in decree to have those things updated appropriately. If you pulled your report online, near should be some instructions on how to dispute it over the net. If you obtain it from any other source, I'd put the request in writing, only to be safe.
Good luck!
no, u enjoy to let them know too
Should you discharge stale and close a credit card that you enjoy have for 2 yrs since the credit boundary reports 0?
Question:
Capital One to be exact. They don't report your limit. The report has be paid within full.
Answers:
no, don't close the account, that will close down 2 years of credit history, as ably as negatively influence your debt to credit ratio. your fico score will move about down, so don't do it!
Never close your CC. You can cut them and freeze them, but don't cancel them, specially near no balance on them. Good Luck!
might not want to close it, juse use it presently and then but other pay it stale. helps your credit rack up to have accounts unseal for a long time.
I just get my credit report, and it lists adjectives the credit cards I ever had, even tho I own never used most of them. My cards limits be on the report.
I don't think it's a suitable idea to enjoy more than one of each type of card; If I were a lender, I would expect a person near so many cards could draw from in over his pave the way very brisk.
On the other hand, I preserve a VISA, Mastercard, and Discover, because there own been times I could not write a check, and the business did not cart one or the other.
if you close a credit card, it hurts your credit score because they work out your credit balance compared to you available credit. Say you own 2 cc's with 1000 restrict on each and a 400 match on one. you're using 20% of your available credit. If you close your 2nd card, now you're using 40% of your avail bal - huge bounce - bad. cover them, lock em up, don't use, excepot for extreme emergency
I would not close them unless you have a bunch of them. I see no want to have more than a few depending on how large your credit limit is on them.
