My credit card bill be a few days slowly this month. Will this affect my credit rating/score?

Question:I've heard somewhere that the bill must be 30 days tardy to matter.

Answers:
nah.

although they can, they usually don't report until after 60 days

jump ahead and pay it as you agreed.

I don't suggest to imply that this should be taken insubstantially, but if this is a rare event, your credit is unlikely to be surrounded by any jeopardy.

Other Answers:
Best thing to do is bid the credit card company and explain things to them on the phone. Most of the time they are willing to over imagine just to save you as a customer
Creditors will not report you delinquent unless you are 31 days past due.
No, that's not going to do anything -

You're right - it have to be 30 days late to affact your credit ranking. Below is a good website that give you lots of information about your credit mark.

No, it should not concern. They dont report for 45 days to 60 days.

Having worked in Credit and Collections for over 10 years, my computer would report you as delinquent from 1 to 29 days. The bureaus, however, did not other sweep our computers then you would show up as an "X" on your bureau. One or two "2" surrounded by a mass of "1's" will not affect your credit.
Doesnt matter... unless its 30 days postponed they wont report it.
Credit companies usually report accounts that are delinquent 30 days and beyond. What they will do, is charge you an outrageous late allowance, and if you continue to be behind, jack up your interest rate as well, so wage on time from presently on!

Landlord dispute?

Question:If a landlord say I owe them 1000 bucks and I say I don't, what happen if they report me to a credit bereau? How many points would something resembling that take away from an otherwide incredibly good FICO evaluation?

Answers:
Did you get and hold all the receipts for your rent? If not you enjoy a problem. Get a lawyer.

Other Answers:
First of adjectives, get cancelled checks (checks that the proprietor has cashed in) submit a copy of your rental lease aggrement to prove that you enjoy paid adjectives your rent.

Pretty much...if your landlord reports you to the bureaus in need cause or beside false cause you can sue him. But remember...he can simply report you to the credit bureaus if you don't pay what he claims you owe after 30days. For example, if I enjoy a credit card with Bank of America and I own an agreement to pay my credit card bill on the 10th but settle up it on the 12th I will have to earnings a late allowance but they can't report me to the credit bureaus. They can only report if I recompense my bill 30days after the 10th.

Hope this helps...nicktony12@yahoo.com
He would plausible take you to court. If you lose the court crust then he could report you to the credit bureau and you would loose points. It doesn't appropriate much to turn great credit into bad credit so I would hope to avoid that from happening. Seek counsel from a attorney.
As far as I know , this would not effect your credit score. This would be a lawsuit that could be handle in Small Claims Court, because the amount individual demanded is under $3000.00. Have adjectives your proof of payments ready incase the proprietor decides to help yourself to you to court. In Small Claims you do not have to be represented by an attorney unless you choose to hire one.

Question:The funny thing is that I enjoy a FICO of 718 from Experian yet they claim that its because of my credit inquiries which by the instrument weren't done by me but as a result of ID theft since I lost my wallet w/social shelter card when I was looking for a duty last Fall

CAN THEY DO THIS??? I contemplate it's because im latino that they denied me

Other Answers:
If nearby are a lot of inquiries, a credit card company will deny you as they see that as you trying to catch too much credit too quickly. Also, if they see multiple inquiries and no corresponding accounts open relative to those inquiries, they'll think "Why didn't the companies that inquired begin an account? And if they didn't get underway an account for him, why would we?".

Because you have ID theft doesn't register beside them, all they see are abundant inquiries with no corresponding accounts open.

Nobody has to approve you. However, your problem is that you did not properly follow up on the identity aggravated burglary. My wife just have the same entry happen and we checked the credit report and file disputes over every single little credit check that was run on us by the mugger. Those checks take points stale your record and affect it greatly. We only just called the credit agencies and informed them what checks be not ours and they removed them from the credit report and gave the points backbone. People who are victims of identity theft pause up screwed because they do not put out the effort to generate sure everything is put back the process it was until that time the theft. You own to be anal about it even though it is time consuming and a anguish in the ***.

Oh, also, nobody care if you are "latino".

You were probably denied because you're not a risk. Credit inquires indicate responsible behavior and credit card companies don't want any of that. Perhaps they're not sophisticated adequate to determine whose responsible behavior that was, individual that someone was responsible adequate to check your credit. I got a credit card surrounded by college with no errand. I got credit increases beside no job. I rewarded off the symmetry and rarely used it after that. They give me a gold card. They give me a platinum card. They cancelled my card. I was no longer a risk - unlikely to run up huge debt and pay envelope through the nose contained by interest - not who they want to do business with. I may appear silly but since you are a victim of ID robbery, Experian will be more hesitant to bequeath you credit because they have to walk to greater lenghts to find out if you are who you say you are. A being can also be denied credit because they have too masses inquiries hitting their report within a short term of time. This causes the credit agency to reason that someone is stealing someone else's indentity to get money. You can put a fraud alert (I hope you put one on when you found out someone stole your ID) on your credit report. All that does is fashion your creditors ask extra personal questions that merely you would know to prove that you are who you say you are.

We go through the same piece because we had too heaps inquiries and it had nought to do with our ethnicity.

Debt Elimination?

Question:Has anyone ever tried debt elimination? A company have contacted me about completely erasing my entire credit card debt in 1 year, then repairing the credit. Their website have testimonials of many relations in adjectives states. It is supposed to be a legal process and here is a lot of information to posterior that up. Has anyone ever done this before?

Answers:
Hey in attendance, it is a legal process. I have a friend do it back home, but the item they don't tell you is that they show up on your credit report, and it make it very complicated to buy a house, or even a car. My friend have the toughest time getting a house because they were on her report. Good luck!

Other Answers:
Try living inside your means.

If they contacted you, it's a scam. There is no style to eliminate debt, except to reward it off, that doesn't sprain your credit. is it a settlement company?? If it is, this is the best way to attain out from under your debt. settlement companies work out a lump sum transmittal amount to pay bad the card, your money goes into an rationalization under your term and shows that you paid past its sell-by date the debt instead of going thru a 3rd party, which shows up on your credit as a chapter 13. So, it does hurt your credit at first but also make it better when it's all over, and you go and get out of debt faster. ALWAYS check with the BBB beforehand you go near any company though!!

I am looking for a website to explain adjectives the codes and abbreviation on a credit report. Thanks!?

Question:I am looking for information about the more complicated credit report format that bank and lenders use, not the ones that consumers get from adjectives the free credit report websites.
Thanks so much!

Answers:
When looking at a lender's credit report, keep surrounded by mind that they are interested in these specific things:

1. High balance/limit and the current go together. Usually the high bal is down on top of the current. They want to see a current go together that is LESS than 50% of the HIGH.

2. Payments: the actual/minimum pocket money due and any past due balance. Normally the past due pay amount comes after the current balance (going from moved out to right) and before the monthly fee. Obviously they do NOT want to see anything past due.

3. They also review adjectives the little 0's in the right-hand column. 0's are obedient. x's not so much (means the history wasn't verfied) and 1's mean 30 days behind time, 2's mean 60 days and 3's are 90 days unpunctually on some reports. On other reports the list "30/60/90" and consequently report the number of times your were unpaid on your payments 30 days, 60 days, 90 and 120.

4. Lenders also look to see how many unseal accounts there are and if the sum total of the outstanding balance is less than 50% of the sum total of the high/max credit margins.

5. There are looking for any judgements (which usually show towards the beginning of the report).

If adjectives esle fails, you hold 2 options: progress to the web site of the credit reporting firm that be used and see if they have a "legend" OR beckon your lender/broker and ask them to sit down with you and explain what you're looking at.

Most reports, presently a days, have the name of all the institutions you've borrowed money from andtheir phone numbers nominated towards the end. If something doesn't look right to you, see if the ph # is nominated and call them and reach a deal about what it is you necessitate to do to get the issue corrected.

I hope this help! Good luck!

how lots of you associates enjoy credit rack up better than 800??

Question:just wondering how long you've gotten your credit going and some advices on keeping it going highly developed

Answers:
My credit is as high as you can draw from.
If you charge, pay it sour every month and a few days early. Too oodles accounts can hurt you. Owe nobody anything, as a matter of reality, my credit card gives me 1% fund of my purchase.
Do not charge at all rather, cash is king, and you do not involve credit if you can pay for it. If you own a house payment, they supply you a grace period, but if you do not reimburse it before the due date, you are considered slow settle up. Good luck. It took me years and discipline. Do not charge it if you do not have the money to money it. I only charge because of convenience, and owe nobody!

Other Answers:
not me Im contained by the 500's
Very few people will hold that.
Only those who have have at least a 30 year unblemished credit history will mark that high.
Believe it or not everybody starts near a "999" and if you never, ever use credit at all that will be your ranking. The minute you open your first credit details, the score plunges because of a 'lack of credit history'. Slowly over time you can build it backbone up.
You must always trade name your payments on time.
And, don't fetch too high of a set off.
If you ever get even close to missing a fee, call the creditor without beating about the bush and make arrangements for alternative pay.
And, don't carry too abundant cards.
Too much open credit lowers your chalk up.
"Everyone starts with "999" credit gain." This is false information. A person is not born next to a perfect chalk up. If you've never had credit you enjoy NO credit score. Ask the guy trying to catch a mortgage with nought but a cell phone pmt and rent. Credit scores are "rewarded" base upon the amount of credit you have going at any one time and how economically you handle if.

There are damned few empire out there beside credit scores within the 800's. On an average, the highest score tend to be in the upper 700's. You can get a 750 (which is EXCELLENT by 90% of the lending institutions standards) but obtain credit and USING it. (Same story/different inquiry)

1. Open a credit card - charge on it - pay more than the minimum required compensation EVERY month but leave a set off (unless its an American Express card) that is smaller quantity than 30-50% of the HIGH credit limit. It's not other smart to pay if bad every month as some people surmise. TRUST me.

2. Avoid store credit cards-interest rates are much higher than the "generic" Visa and Mastercard cards.

3. Take out an installment loan from your guard and make your payments prompt if not a week impulsive.

Remember: it's not necessarily the amount of credit (although a LOT is NOT good) it's how well the credit is self managed.
