If you don't remuneration a collection company will it come rotten after 7 years?

I have a collection company that only reported negative on my credit report after I received their epistle stating they have my explanation and will report negative if no payments. They next put me negative on my credit report. I have called them today asking if they can help yourself to off the unenthusiastic they put on my credit report, they said "We don't do that". So I told them I will not pay them. This debt be for AT&T and I first went deliquent beside them early 2004 or unpunctually 2003. The date on my credit report with them shows "Date Opened: 02/2006". Now, first I would resembling to know is, is that date wrong? Should it be date that I went surrounded by Default with AT&T? Second, if I DO NOT money the debt because they won't take of credit report....will it come stale seven years as of the opening date or the later time they reported to the credit bureau? I know it comes off after 7 years from closing activity, but is that from when they report or when I retribution? Just need some assistance to clarify! :)

Answers:
Please look up fair credit reporting exploit. The collection agency can not start the 7 years all over again. BTW its 7 years from the date of your finishing payment or when the vindication became delinquent.

Other Answers:
When the collection company get it, it's like a brand current bill. Yes, it comes off after seven years but you enjoy to write each collection agency independently (experian, equifax, and trans union) to remove the item. If AT&T have it listed, they enjoy to remove it in seven years from the morning the debt occured with them. After seven years, again, you may enjoy to write, they should remove it.

They run by the date the collection company took over the debt. I twill stay on your credit report for 10 years (not 7).
If you send them even $10/month they are obligated to state on credit report you are making payments, it may not be what they want, but as long as you reward something, they are obligated to state that.

It is 7 years from the report date, but you should definately discuss to them if you were contained by debt for AT&T in 2004 that's an extra 2 years on your heading. I would'nt pay them any way for the simple certainty it scarred your baptize for 7 yrs regardless if you pay or not. I'm have a similar problem so I've learned a few things going on for these damn creditors. Well good luck!:) The date of second activity is the date that the side went delinquent near the original creditor, usually when it is 120 days departed due. The time does not start over when it goes to a collection agency. And it does drop rotten your credit report after 7 years. You may or may not have to contact the credit bureau to own it removed at that time.

FIRST OFF--- harleyryder42 HAS NOT GIVEN YOU ANY TYPE OF CORRECT INFO. EVERY THING HE STATED IS INCORRECT.

A COLLECTION AGENCY IS NOT REQUIRED TO TAKE PAYMENTS, CHECK THE ATTORNEY GENERALS WEB SITE. AND SECOND, IT IS 7 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF DEFAULT FROM THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR BEFORE THEY ARE TO REMOVE IT.

ALSO, I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT AT&T ENCOURAGES THEIR COLLECTORS TO FILE SUIT AGINST DEBTORS, SO I WOULD DO EVERY THING YOU CAN TO MAKE SOME TYPE OF ARRANGEMENTS TO RE-PAY THE DEBT SO YOU CAN AVOID THE COSTS OF A LAW SUIT AND ALSO AVOID JUDGMENT AGAINST YOU AS A JUDGMENT CAN BE GOOD FOR OVER 30 YEARS DEPENDING ON YOUR STATE LAWS ON RENEWELL OF JUDGMENTS.

GOOD LUCK!

What is the best approach to start building up your credit?

I have no credit and no credit card company requests to give me a credit card. I own not been competent to buy a car on my own or even achieve a apartment due to no credit. I need to know where on earth i can go to start building up me credit.

Answers:
most bank offer safe and sound credit cards ( secure credit card - you use your own $ as your credit limit) just about $250 to start if you don't have alot ($500 would be best) . Once you procure the card only use it to take-home pay small bills like Gas card or cell phone bill. Pay the be a foil for off every month. It should be glib because you already use that money to pay those bills anyway. Keep it up for @ smallest 6 months I promise you will start to recieve pre-approved credit card applications all daytime long!

Other Answers:
use your current account perceptively for around 6 months - then apply for a loan, but don't bear it out. 2 months later apply for a credit card from your edge, and use wisely for a couple of years, paying it rotten. the amount will increase and people will post you more applications for more cards.

Spend it sagely... :)

You want to start near simply applying at a store like burdines, etc... or buying a cheap use coup¨¦... that really works, just spawn sure to pay ontime scrap down every single dime you spend everyday
n try to figure out which spending nouns can you cut down

If you own a bank rationalization, apply for a credit card through them. Pay the balance bad every month and that will open the door for other offer by other credit card companies.

is credit card a perfect piece or a unpromising entry? and why?...?

Answers:
A credit card are like a sledge hammer. Use it properly, and you can do something useful, resembling drive a nail. Use it indifferently, and you’ll whack your thumb. Even a moment of inattention is enough to kind a difference.

Other Answers:
Not good satisfactory
managed correctly, it's a great article. If you pay it rotten every month you will never pay interest. You can earn airline miles or other rewards for using cards. It give you the flexibility to get something in a minute and pay after that.

Too many relations don't manage them powerfully, though, so they get into serious financial situations relatively briskly and it's hard to grasp back out.
A credit card is a biddable thing as long as you don't treat roughly it. It helps to build your credit and is a nice passageway to pay for things when you don't want to get cash. If you assault it, spend it to the max and make minimal or past due payments, it will hurt you since you will be paying so much interest.
It is a good item to have when you entail something and don't have the currency to buy it. BUT it is also a bad piece as if you don't pay it support the balence keeps growing and growing from adjectives the interest.
A credit card can be a good item if you pay past its sell-by date your balance every month. So oodles credit cards now bestow frequent flier mileage or points that you can redeem for merchandise. Some credit cards give you bread back.

However some empire cannot pay bad their credit card balance every month and hold to pay interest. They finishing up having to pay cheque off their symmetry over many years and near the compounded interest, these people can be paying over 100% interest. That would be comparable to instead of paying $50 for a shirt up front, you spread the fee out and end up paying $100 for that same shirt.
It's obedient when you use it responsibly. It's bad when you don't reward on time as you should. It will emulate your credit worthiness for 7 years and you won't be able to win a thing (house, coupé, etc,)

How does liquidation affect interest rates on loans? Credit cards?

Answers:
bankruptcy affects your credit evaluation, essentially reducing it to the lowest possible. The lower the credit score the superior the interest rates on all type of credit, assuming a creditor will even lend to you.

Other Answers:
Filing ruin will essentially knock you out of the running for any type of credit. If a bank will even look at you for credit issues they will charge you sky soaring interest...in the 20-30% array. Not worth it.
If all ethnic group to whom the banks enjoy lent money become bankrupt the wall would run into loss and to come out of red bank have to increse the lending rates . Simplified answer

If any singele being becomes penniless then he become a risk for any further lending . He may once again become a spendthrift or gambler or risk his borroowed money negligently since it is borrpowed mony. In such cases the rates willo be higher.Infact heaps would not even risk at higher rate.
Don't listen to recommend that is not base on life experience.
A repossession or foreclosure is much worse than collapse. Creditors know you cannot file for another seven years.
Fact: I purchase a foreign car through Ford Credit at 3.9% only two years out of bankruptcy
Fact: I financed a home Mortgage at 6.25% in recent times two years out of bankruptcy
Fact: I obtain mid 600 score basically two years out.

If you want to know how bankruptcy change your life...have a chat to someone who's been within...twice. (divorce, divorce, divorce). Idiots giving advise going on for which they know nothing abound.

But heres the article, you need to monitor your credit reports closely for a couple of years after ward. And go to the bookstore and purchase "Guaranteed Credit" by Arnold S. Golstein

What is scheduled contained by the Accounting when Salary getting credited?

Answers:
Sourabh is correct on the consumer end.

If you are asking in the order of the salary for the company paying you, this is how it works.

The company debit salary expense and credits take-home pay payable. The Payable is a liability that the company owes to it employees and it recognize that it owes this money. Once that money is paid, the income payable account is debit (lowered) and cash is credited (lowered).

I am not sure if explicitly answering your question or not.

Other Answers:

Is it really possible to verbs your credit report? Or are the credit cleaning agencies scam?

Answers:
Scams. The only agency to repair your score is by paying your bills.

Other Answers:
Most of it is scam. They can hold out you suggestions you could find on your own and may write letters you could do yourself.
I'll verbs it for you. Now send me $2995.59. Thank you.
those public relations on the web......OOOOOhhh..I'd be terrified !! Never looked but would be apprehensive that they would collect my data and verbs my bank details !
It's not a scam if they help you draw from innaccurate information off your credit report and/or information to be exact too old. Inaccurate information get wrongly reported on credit reports every day. And credit agencies recurrently neglect to verbs off matured items. But before you afford money to any credit cleaner, get a written contract. In my state, a credit cleaner have to give you a written contract and cannot whip your $ before the opportunity is done UNLESS they're bonded and the written contract tells you how to proceed against the bond if they screw you. But that's my state.....
Yes, its possible. The credit cleaning agencies charge you for work you can do individually. You can judgment your credit for free every six months from one of the 3 major credit bureaus. If anything looks odd, or you would like to provoke a charge, you may take critical steps to do so. The steps are usually a hassle, but as long as your diligent its possible to clean up your credit.
Source(s):
My brain
It's a scam, because you are the solitary person who can restore your own credit score by making payments prompt. There is nothing that these companies can do that will properly imprve your credit score. The gain itself is based on the amount of overt balances you own, whether you are paying your bills on time or not, and a few other factor. But I think these are the two most key factors.

If you really want to reorganize your credit, try not to increase your debts, make payments on the dot to all of your creditors. If you can afford it, travel to you bank and get underway a secured loan whereby you give them utter $2500.00 for a loan, that way they your money to hold as collateral for the $2500 loan, later pay rotten the loan on time and that will enjoy an impact on your score.

Also, walk to annualcreditreport.com and get a report on yourself that shows adjectives of your open balance and activities, produce sure everything listed is correct, except report any discrepancies. It's free if you only want the report, but nearby is a fee if you want your actual credit gain as well, but it's drastically cheap, it's like lower than $10, I think. You're allowed to verbs one report on yourself once a year for free.

Good luck!
just approaching any industry, most are legit but some have some scam. you need to research any and every company you choose to work beside. one website I would reccommend you check out is www.entrustsystems.com/wow they are there to track your non traditional re-occuring monthly payments - things approaching cell phones, rent, electricity, storage units, trash pick up, cable bills, etc. These things are not across the world tracked by experian, equifax and transunion but because entrustamerica tracks them, it could help your credit rack up improve dramatically. check it out, but just work with a program that you are comfortable near.

njbadboy above does not seem to realize that not everything is a scam, here are many legal companies out there who do own your best interest in mind. yes, they may enjoy a charge attached, but isnt that what just more or less what evey single company does to stay in business whether it is a service (accountants, export tax preparers, bankers etc) or a product (auto dealers, retail stores, restuarants etc.).
You can achieve inaccurate information taken off yourself, you a moment ago have to be diligent in the order of it. do you even know what's on your credit report?
Depends on what you would call a "scam".

What these companies do is bring a copy of your credit report, examine it, send parcels, make phone call, and suggest ways to you that will improve your credit win.

This is the very same things you can do yourself! So why would you want to compensate someone a few hundred dollars to do the same entry?

The problem is that you are not educated on the imperative, and don't know how to go in the order of fixing your credit.

If you want to take a few moments to study the links I've supplied below, and if you are ready to spend some time writing letters and making phone call....I can save you some money.

Or, in recent times hire one of those credit fix-it companies and waste your money.

Word of warning. When you are trying to clear your credit history, you are going to war! Your simply weapon is knowledge of the law, so don't attempt to go any further until you do some homework. The links below will support.

Listen, if you seriously want to fix your credit report then rate your bills and get out of debt. Go look up Primerica within the phone book, you greatest answer lies within my friend.
These types of places are trying to find your money. There are places that will help you restore your credit, resembling credit counseling agencies; but any company that says "send us $$$ & we will erase bleak debt from your credit report for you" is just wanting your money that you could be spending to verbs up the credit in the first place.

Keep your money within your pocket & pay the debts yourself. Don't trust anyone to clear up your credit report, but you.
