Credit Questions and Answers

Does apply for credit card but not elicit them damages my credit rating? I approaching to collect credit cards.?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, every time you apply for a credit card it goes into that big system surrounded by the sky. You need some credit, but if you hang on to applying, it actually go against you.

Other Answers:
Interesting hobby. Without activating them it does no damage to you. Your score drops depending on how masses times your credit is checked when you apply for these cards. If you're getting these at the rate of 4-5 a month then your win will drop. If you get one every month later shouldn't be a problem. But since you never use it, there shouldn't be any mar in doing so. Your credit report will be massive next to a huge list of creditors but since you'll hold no balance on any of them, won't business either process. Just be sure and use at least one of them only so you can have some sort of credit going for you. Just be on the undisruptive side, order a credit report and see what your win is. about 6-8 months following check it again and see where you are at. Also, once you grasp the card, call the company who issued it to you give or take a few 2 weeks later and close your report. even though it's not activated it's still timetabled as "open". once you close it there'll be no possibility of it coming back to retreat you and you can still keep the card. Personally, I'd go and get another hobby.
does not hurt but does not help any holdong on to cards wioth balances is not a great conception cancel the card adjectives together and keep the card lol
Switch to baseball cards!

Credit cards will enjoy impact each time you apply...not key impact, but some.
Yes it is listed on your credit report as available credit and will effect you over adjectives score.
if you dont moving them they lower your credit score
yes and no. everytime someone pulls your credit it dings your ranking. on the other hand, your ratio of outstanding debt : available credit drops, which help your credit score
All the inquiries will hurt your win if you have more than read out 1 or 2 per month. If you don't activate them I don't assume they actually show up on your credit report as an unfold account, so you are merely taking the hit of the inquiry without the benefit of the credit mortal counted in your history. If I be you I would tell Pop that he better close to the idea of you living at home near him because if he doesn't quit screwing around next to your credit you're never going to be able to get hold of a loan to buy a house of your own.

Will debt be erased after 7 years on a report? can they reopen the acct right b4 the 7 years??!?

Question:i believe its the day its delinquent. but do they hold an account spread out for years after you stop paying? or the day you be late on the closing payment is when the countdown starts?!?!

Answers:
You want to find out the statute of limitations (SOL) for collecting in your state.

If you are previous SOL, you are not legally bound to retribution. They can continue to "try" to collect but they cannot sue you. They cannot put it on your credit report after the 7 year restriction. (unless it is something, other than a credit card, auto loan etc, that have a longer reporting period.)

The SOL starts to run the first time you become 30 days late and never become current leading to the charge sour.

As I stated, if you are past the SOL for collecting you are not reasonably bound to pay, but if you should want to, be sure to convey a debt validation first. When they have proven the debt and how they arrived at the amount they are trying to collect (they must receive the info from the original creditor, not from their own files) Then you should request a salary for delete. If you don't more than likely it will in recent times show as a paid glum.

If you don't want to pay it if it is historic SOL, send them a debt validation memo. After their response send them a SOL memorandum.

You might go to the site I've tabled and do some reading. You will find links to your states statutes and info on sending validation, pay for delete and SOL packages.

Other Answers:
The debt normally doesn't return with erased after the 7 years that you are referring to. The company will try to collect on the debt and then they will go the debt so then that company have another 7 years to collect and that company will likely put on the market to someone else and so worth so the circle just continues so yes, the acct. is kept initiate for many years after one stops paying. Hope this help.

Former loan officer

Well, I have some completely old unpaid accounts from 10 years ago and a collection aggency manage to find it.

If you can, try to make a promise with them, similar to $10.00 a month. That is what I am doing with a $5,000 hospital bill. I agreed to earnings $40.00 a month before the closing of the month or they will tack on a stupid late grant !
Something is better than nothing.

I know this dont really answer your sound out, but it might help on some bills you could not pay packet in times gone by. All you have to do is prove to the credit bureaus that it's duplicate account. They can individual keep a debt on within for 7 years. It doesn't matter how abundant times it is sold to other collection agencies.

You will still legally owe the debt, and the ingenious creditor can still try to collect it any way possible, but the credit bureau can't report it any more.

I am a mortgage consultant. Robert is correct. The debt will NEVER dance away if you don't pay it. The lender is entitled to receive fee, so pay your bills! All that will surface is it will fall bad your credit report. But believe me, you won't be buying a house if you have 7+ year ripened debt that went to collections.

What happen when I trade my vehicle surrounded by for another one?

Question:I traded my car into the dealership for a truck. they rewarded off my loan, from that sports car. and now i hold this loan out for this truck. which is okay with me becus we needed a truck and not a coup¨¦ and this was the solitary way to do it. but since the dealership salaried off my motor loan, woudlnt that show up under my credit that i compensated off an auto loan? i hear that to be exact a good entity to have a salaried off auto loan show up on your credit. but presently im hearing from others that underneath my credit it will show up that i have two loans out and it would be more difficult to buy a house. which is true? am i okay near what i did? or is my credit now doomed to failure? help!

Answers:
When a saloon dealership pays off the record on your trade-in, it counts towards you having salaried off the loan. Sometimes, however, it may filch a while for that updated info to reach the credit bureaus while initiating a alien loan for the new vehicle may manage them quicker. The end result is that near may be a short period where on earth you appear to have 2 loans. Financial institutions are aware of this and adjectives you'll have to do is provide proof that the previous loan be paid past its sell-by date as part of the trade-in concordat and they will take that into consideration.

Other Answers:
On your credit it should state what have been rewarded and the balance owed. If the symmetry was o on your credit later you are fine. With the dealership did they add any strange amounts with the truck, because if they did after sometimes that probably made the amount higher. If you hold negative equity afterwards you would have needed a down transfer of funds, but they paid the nouns off for you so you shouldn't hold to worry, only just make sure you check your credit report within now or within about two months to form sure everything is clear. As long as you still pay on the auto loan stability then your credit is ok, it should not affect you buying a house as long as the dealerships salaried that loan off and did not make the addition of it to your truck.
Source(s):
www.carbuyingtips.com

If the dealership paid past its sell-by date the loan (which they have to do to receive a clean title), the untested loan should appear on you credit report as paid and closed. This does not look approaching a current loan to anyone who knows how to read a credit report.

I am in the mortgage business, and yes, you can still get hold of financed with a 515 chalk up. If both of you are working, many lenders will combine adjectives six scores and divide by 6, which will tender you a high ample score to buy a house. However, you may enjoy to ttalk the seller into holding a second mortgage for a year or two, unitl you can bring back you credit score up. You may never know how to prove others used your credit, but you can get your evaluation up, by doing some simple things; such as, get a secured credit card, and charge something on it after pay it past its sell-by date right away. Keep doing this for a few months. If you already have some elevated credit cards, pay them down to 40% of the credit impede. Whatever you do, do not pay stale any collections that are over 2 years old since you ultimate made a payment. That will hurt your chalk up more. good luck.

Other Answers:
um, report the loosers.

Many companies "will" report indistinguishable information on the AU's account as they do the primary. But they obligation your info to be able to report.

Talk to the domestic member that have added you and ask them to contact the credit card company. Have the family associate give your info to the company and request that they start to report on your credit reports.

Don't bestow up if the rep. claims that it's not possible, ask to speak to a supervisor if that happen.

Other Answers:
Being an authorized user on someone elses line of credit isn't going to give a hand you. You need to attain your own credit card, in your pet name, under your social deposit number.

Depending on your credit card company it could help, if the moniker is not common it should show up on the credit report.

What typr of Check do bank recurrently use to retribution their own obligation, and habitually deal in to customers who require?

Question:an official insrument of the sandbank?
a. teller's check
b. cerified check
c. cashiers check
d. substitute check

Answers:
Cashier's check.

Other Answers:
cashier's check

c don't understand the qustion. Banks paying restrained bills would probably have a business check.

The types of checks they market is not related to how they pay. A certified check can not be cancelled a cashiers check can. Banks settle accounts beside the Federal Reserve differently than with business entities similar to local utilities office supplies, etc.

Good Luck OK resourcefully a Teller's Check, Certified Check, and Cashier's Check are, essentially, the same article. These are often available to customers (though sometimes at a cost).

A substitute check is ... capably complicated ... it is a legal weekly copy of a check that is used exactly approaching check. It comes from bank backoffices scan the original check and disposing it (digital metaphors are easier to work with than the physical check). For more info on this see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Check_21 .

Now as far as what checks bank use to pay their own debts, that falls into the Accounts Payable department of the financial institution, which usually freshly cuts a standard business check, usually off of a different ridge for security sake.

Hope this answers your request for information.

I own a step-son beside a obedient mission but poor credit. How can he remodel his evaluation?

Question:

Answers:
Pay off his debt. Period. If he owes anyone and is delinquent, nil else he does is going to help.

Once that is to say all clear, he really should live on a change only principle for a couple of years to learn to control on what he makes. If he can put together funds for a car or house down expense, and all his debts are long compensated off, he'll enjoy no problem getting a loan and that will be the first step back up to dutiful credit.

THEN he can think something like getting A single credit card (shouldn't have more than 2, period).

Other Answers:
enjoy him order his credit report. He can later contact his creditors and set up payment arrangements. He can attain a credit report from all creditors from freecreditreport.com
Credit Score is a losers winter sport. Don't get hindered in it. Teach him....if you don't enjoy the money for it....wait til you do. Credit cards and the similar to are a black hole! Budget...Budget!
As long as he pays off his aged debts, his credit will slowly start improving. After a few years he'll start getting credit card offer again. When he gets one beside a pretty good interest rate (19% area) he should apply and win it approved. Then he uses the card only to the amount that he know he can pay stale when the card becomes due. Pay it stale in full every month NO MATTER WHAT. After he does that for a year or so, his credit will look much better and he can go and get financing for cars (though not the best, but better) and such.
Having bills in my own mark and paying them on time help my credit score spring way up
Credit is built similar to a brick Wall with no mortar. You build it one story at a time and over a period of time. Pay it stale and add to it keeping your debt ratio low. The wall will be solid but if you engineer a mistake or evade a bill it will come tumbling down.
I agree with most of the answers already given but I also know that he can assistance improve his credit by taking out a small loan, putting that money contained by the bank and salary it on time for a couple months and next pay it stale in full. If he does that a few times (increasing the amount as he goes) it will show that he have paid his debts and in good time and that will improve his chalk up. Of course, paying off historic debts is the key.
Force him to confer you half his paycheck and payment all his bills next to that money.

After he pays all his debts hold half his paycheck and invest that money to buy a house for him (I asume he already have a car)
if he has discouraging marks on his credit. designation people he owes money to and its surrounded by collection. pay those past its sell-by date. if he just have no credit or slow credit try for a unsecure credit card. they say you requirement 3 revolving accounts for your score to dance up? if he can not get a unsecured credit card. try for a semi or fully secured credit card. remember that you do not want to use more later 30% on the credit card or your scores go down. trust me i was trying to go back to the beginning mine. in adjectives my research i have found out 3 reolving accounts and no more next 30 % on credit cards. and it takes years to start again. if im wrong i am more then welcome to be corrected cjone782000 on yahoo
get a credit card from orchardbank.com
that card is gaurenteed for ANY CREDIT
clear purchases on it then money that off within 25 days
He needs to matter with his bleak credit.

If the accounts are with collection agency's, merely paying them will not improve his gain. Due to the collection agency's reporting as a paid collection article.

If they are with collection agency's, the best entity he can do is send them a debt validation message, certified mail return acceptance (CMRRR). After the agency properly validates the debt, convey a pay for delete memorandum (CMRRR) and request to pay a percentage of the amount, request that the agency will delete any tradeline they own placed on his report, request that they will not continue to try and collect the debt and will not vend the remainder of the debt.

I would suggest going to the "free" site that I've added a link to and do some reading on how to repair his credit.

Sometimes it doesnt come bad...
best thing for you to do is phone call the company to make sure that it comes past its sell-by date

Normally within 30 - 60 days. Most credit card companies do monthly updates near the credit reporting agencies. i believe that they are required to report the new movement within 30 days. If they don't after 30 days they could win in trouble for reporting wrong information.

30 to 60 days but you might want to christen the credit card company to find out when they do it.

Is in that any road to bring medical collection accounts removed from my credit report?

Question:I have several medical accounts that enjoy been sent to collections, I payment a monthly payment to the collection agency and afterwards they credit that amount to the oldest account they enjoy. My problem is that once each rationalization has be paid within full it still shows up as a collection account and remains on my report. I am 24 years feeble and I am married and pregnant with my second child, we entail a larger house and no one will loan to use because these collection accounts are bloodshed my credit score. I only just want to paid ones removed, but the agency wont do it. Is at hand any way around this?

Answers:
Once you enjoy paid surrounded by full it will show on your report as paid contained by full for 7 years. Make sure the companies are showing that the account is closed and remunerated in full. That should NOT hurt your credit gain. The only entry you can do to help your credit evaluation is to get a credit card and inaugurate to use it and pay rotten the ENTIRE balance EVERY month ON TIME. This will relief show your responsibility to creditors and raise your chalk up a little respectively month. I found that Bank of America was ready to give me a massively nice credit limit and i have limited credit history. Try their Power Rewards card. But dont apply for too lots cards as creditors check to see how many times your credit report have been pulled when trying to donate you a loan. Also... get the book: "Automatic Millionaire" by David Bach. he have great tips on websites and companies that are VERY willing to assist family get a mortgage for a investigational home. He's also very compassionate in principle you how you can save for your childrens coaching and your own retirement. You'd be amazed that you can EASILY save MILLIONS! BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!

Other Answers:
I commend you on your honesty contained by paying the medical collection account but you royally screwed up contained by the manner you chose if you considered necessary to have a better credit copy. You don't understand the rules. This is the biggest rule. Don't ever repay a dime to anyone until you get a written agreement (yea you may hold to pay an attorney for 1/2 hour's time but it is worth it) that states how the report will be reflected on credit report.

The motivation the collection agency is paying the oldest account have to do with the statute of limitations. Accounts enjoy statutes where unless compensated past the statute reasonably can not be collected. So by applying the amount to the oldest account they are protecting the creditor and near interest by updating the statute of limitations.

Now that you understand what's going on, let talk something like how to upgrade your credit score, my specialty. Ok the first article I would do is get a copy of three crucial credit bureaus, Trans Union, Experian and Equifax. Then I would if there is any incomplete, vague or incorrect listing such as the amounts or if nearby is a duplicate meaning a list on the bureau report from the creditor and the collection agency, I would dispute it. By disputing the credit bureaus have 30 days (or an extramural 15 days) to verify, correct or delete the information. But if you find that there be an intial debt of say $3,000 and you enjoy paid it bad and the credit bureau shows was $3,000 put as a remunerated collection then that seem accurate. If you still owe the collection agency money you may have some leverage but not as much as when you owed the maximum amount. You can try to seize them to give you a delete communication but it is unlikely now. If you still owe next stop paying them, this will actually tender you better leverage because the collection agency is making 20-50% on the debt. Another avenue is the original creditor. Perhaps they will offer you a better rating on the original debt such as remunerated satisfactorily or remunerated as agreed or current. If these options don't work consequently you can put together a statement (I wouldn't put it on my credit report) that you give to potential modern creditors before you apply for credit. In reality I would show them my credit report with a copy of the explanation and ask the credit officer if they will extend credit.

Hope this helps you

Good Luck
