credit cards?
are credit card companies supposed to call and ask you for substantiation by asking for bank narrative info to verfy income .. or addressAnswers:
NO.....Credit card companies will already know your address, especially if you've already got a card beside them. Also, they will not call you to verify your wall account information, they will relay YOU to call them. Also, they will not use ridge account information to verify income. What is surrounded by your bank portrayal cannot possibly verify your income, that is via your employment. Never impart your bank rationalization info and address over the phone to anyone asking for it. If you feel that you are individual hassled, only just tell them "I'll christen you in a few minutes" and hangup. Then telephone call the company they were claiming to be and report it. That is the with the sole purpose way that these general public can be caught is if people report it respectively time it happens.

Will refinancing my student loans affect my credit rating? I owe $1,900 to Nelnet.?
I read that student loan interest rates will go up 2 percents within July.Answers:
Consolidating your loans will have no position on your credit rating - as long as you continue to remuneration on a timely basis. If you've missed the lower rates over the second several years, act without delay and lock in a correct rate if you can.
By the way, I would recommend if you can procure away from Numb Nuts, I mean Nelnet, do so. They are a big anguish to work with. I own found the Department of Education actually much easiler near Sally Mae a close second. Good luck.
Other Answers:
no but you can only consolidate them 1 time
Yes and no - you should refinance to bring back a better interest rate, yes.
On your credit report, refinancing will show a new loan and the close of your other loans. The amount of outstanding loans will remain indistinguishable. It might knock your score a point or 2, but it will get better quickly.
Refinance and pick up some $$$.

how to wages bill collectors?
I am a kidney transplant patient and will constantly be at doctors office and hospitals. Just for this year alone I have recieved 4000.00 surrounded by bills from the hospital alone. That is my deductible from medicare and my secondary insurance. not mentioning other doctor bills and the approaching. I am also legally blind. If I wages on some of these bills then other collectors call upon and want money paid on at hand accounts too. We are living on a shoestring as it is but every couple of months a new bill collector call for another bill and there seem to be no end since I am constantly surrounded by the hospital.I have thought something like bankrupsy but what about subsequent year after I am sick or have problems again. I am other getting new bills contained by constantly.
Real answers please.
Answers:
Call medicaid or medicare. Try if you can pay $5.00 at lowest possible you are trying on all or trying near one collector agency, Or try in ingoring them. Talk to respectively and every collecting agency. Talk to your local church. Hope this help.

Other Answers:
convey them all five dollars a month and they cant do anything because you are making an action.
I would suggest looking at your credit report and making a plan for yourself to pay past its sell-by date everything you owe. They are going to hassle you no matter what because you owe them money. And even if you do bring back them to quiet down, it doesn't imply your problems will go away. They could still sue, frills wages, etc.
What you need to do is appropriate care of it. Perhaps try an agency that will allow you to consolidate and remuneration monthly?
I work in a medical lab that does conducting tests for people resembling you...and I sit and wonder somedays how you guys come up with the money to clear for all of the test. You have to own your antirejection medication levels taken so repeatedly and I am just glad that I don't enjoy to go through it. What I would do is to honestly give the name the hospital, or local Senator and find out what kinds of back are really in your nouns. Within the year the offices that you owe money to will be writing past its sell-by date those moneys. See if there is any type of assisstance for you. I know that I own heard of a company that help xplant patients with their medical bills but I dont know what it is call. I wish I could be of more assist and take perfectionism of yourself.
Look into debt consolidating programs. I was on one tons years ago and it worked out great. They combine your debt and close out all accounts (credit cards) and you money one fee per month w/ no nouns charges etc. Then when you can, you can always thieve care of the bill(s) contained by full when you get money, similar to taxes or something. It does take some time, but hold on to making the payments, and I believe you can add the spanking new medical bills to it, of course the clearing will go up. You can rummage online for programs or ask your local mortgage people, later call. Good Luck ! DO NOT GO BANKRUPT! It other seems close to an out, but it will affect your future. (Thank saintliness I didn't declare ruin :-)

Just close the door on Bill collectors. If the phone ring and it is a bill collector, wait for that character to ask for you, say politely newly a moment please.. next pose the headset receiver on desk and tolerate the bill collector hang here fore ever.. do this until your phone goes stale line..
convey your bill collectors advertising you received from other post instead of payment; they at smallest will receive 2 for 1 pizza instead of money..
Keep answering annoying bill collectors by saying "a moment please.. dally someone else on line, please hold..( must never speak near bill collector, it could get you upset and ruin your morning!).
you can also say you vanished for the grocery store or you left to buy a unmarked car.. sometimes form them hear you laugh hysterically over the phone.. whisper you will never pasy, then move out..
do this until you have some money.. ask them if they are liable to settle for less , approaching 1000$ instead of 4000$, if accepted ask them to convey you letter of settlement.. If they prohibit settlement,, repeat
with step one..
Source(s):
other settle for less.. its more fun..
produce a standard letter beside your situation, leave a space for your reason # and creditors name... within the letter let somebody know them you want to make "good conviction attempt" to make payments of $5.00 until the debt is contented.. make several copies of the memorandum always hang on to an original and in recent times plug in the info of creditor describe and acct #.
as long as you make a right faith attempt to sate debt, they cant mess with you.
they will other ask you for more, thats their job, but you dont own to, and keep substatiation of your payments ie. returned checks , money decree receipts etc
Far too many relations file for ruin because of their inability to budget and because they are living beyond their means...liquidation shouldn't be for them...it should be for people approaching you who have caught a really tough break...as a consumer, I would a bit pay high interest rates because of your bankruptcy than because of the collapse of some jerk who didn't know how or did not want to practice self control...wallet if you need to...report again if you need to...if you really want to try to find a bearing on your meager budget...contact Consumer Credit Counseling Services in your nouns...they are also known as CCCS...they are not for profit and will backing you out...you will pay what you can...even if it is purely twenty bucks a month...they will work it out with the collectors and you will engineer just one small reward...good luck.
The problem is next to your last sentence. You are already planning more debt for subsequent year. Anything we suggest gets you out of trouble immediately, but you are already planning more debt in the adjectives. How in the world can we assistance you with that?
Without some sort of governing body assistance I don't know what to suggest. It's all going to come crashing down subsequent year unless you can figure out how to symmetry your budget.

can a hospital sue for unpaid medical bill?
Answers:
Not only can they sue -- they will sue. And when (not if) they win, they will frills your wages for the original bill plus hefty behind time fees and interest (usually done by the collection agency they turn your bill over to). I have several population working for me who are having their wages garnish now for medical bills. Best seize on, and stick to, a payment plan in a minute. These bill do not just run away.
Don't be fooled into thinking that a "non-profit" hospital is a "charity." The two words are not synonyms. This mentality is just one of the copious causes of the rise surrounded by healthcare costs. Hospitals spend millions trying to collect unpaid bills. If you were sick, and you received the safekeeping, you owe the money.
Other Answers:
Yes but... you can also prevent this from happening you can settle up them 5 bucks a month and they cant do anything about that as long as your trying to settle....
I stipulation more informations...
As per US law,they can...
you bet they can sue. You should contact them and set up a payment plan you both agree on. That road it looks like you are trying to get hold of them paid sour. IVE ONLY SEEN IT ONCE...BUT THEY (THE HOSPITAL)WAS GOING TO TAKE THERE HOME....SO I WOULD SAY YES....THEY KEPT THERE HOME AND I PAID THE BILL..HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS FOR YOU...
yep best to transport them a few bucks a month
yes but if you would just brand an attempt to pay on the bill they will not sue you. Just transport them 10 dollars! You know what the Health trouble system really smells in the US. My daughter have a infection to a point were she would vomit and wasn't drinking well. 3 1/2 month older. So I called her peditrican, and I be told that the other pediatrican will see her as soon as she goes to emergency room. Anyway, we get there, after a long keep on of 2 1/2 we got call up. They put her on a resperator to help her breath because she have RSV infection in the chest and sent us home after that treatment short seeing a doc or a pediatrican...and Charged us 1,110.00
While other people that progress in at hand have their means of access and not pay a cent....We work and recompense our way but do we own to be charged that much.
I will tell them to stick it up their A****...
If it method getting the best lawyer surrounded by town I will do it. The answer is yes.Paying $5.00 per month does not guarantee

i had promblems next to my credit cards when i was younger didnt realize how essential credit was, immediately i have finally finish paying adjectives of my creditors on my credit report it still shows as a unpaid balance how do i turn about getting these creditors to update my credit report .i hear something about disputing i dont really know what to do i want adviceAnswers:
Write the creditors that haven't updated your report as even so. They will be more than happy to see that you "did it" yipee! They will transport a few weeks but keep checking. They might even remove the report altogether but usually stay on for three years, some won't remove the report, even if salaried off, for 10 years. I even have one down in California (dept. store) that refuse to remove my report, even paid stale...ever. I said what? They said we never will, you were discouraging. Well, its gone now but that be years and years ago. Call the folks to be sure they process you as Pid In Full to each credit agency. Its closely of work, buy YOU did a lot of work to reward it off, presently its their turn.
Other Answers:
contact the original creditors that you hold paid past its sell-by date. Ask them to send proof of your side paid contained by full and then convey it to which ever credit report company you use and keep them for your files and that way if they show up and slow you from making a ample purchase you will be able to show that they are salaried off, next to paper proof and a path for your new creditor to check it.
prove they r paid sour and request that they be removed What you need to do is phone the credit agency you are working with and detail them that the debts are paid. Now, they are want to hold proof of this so be able to fax a purchase history report to the agency. The leading thing to do when chitchat to the credit agency is to be courteous. They will be sympathetic to you and they believe in the golden rule: Treat others how you want to be treated. A little pleasantness can go a long style.
A lot of things will stay on your credit report for up to 7 years. You necessitate have documentation to show that it be paid and be persistant beside the businesses that are posted on your report to have it taken sour. We have gone through this near someone else using our socials to start credit and didn't pay and we are still struggling to gain it off of the credit reports. Hope it help some.
Get a hold of your creditors by phone or by mail. Show them the proof that you certainly paid the debt rotten in full. This will inpress them, since most society can call their creditors and work out a traffic where they don't money it off surrounded by full, but will pay approaching 50 to 75% of the original debt to a collection agency or such. These may still be on your history for a long time down the road. I got divorced 8 years ago and my ex-wife maxed out my credit cards and didn't pay envelope them off, and they be in my mark. I called the creditors and told them the serving spoon, and most of them were cool going on for it, however, when I went to buy a house or bring back a loan of any kind, this info still shows up on my credit report. You live and you revise, but you should be proud that you did it and can move on beside your life.Call Equifax @ 1-8OO-525-6285
Call Experian (formerly TRW) 1-888-397-3742
Call Trans Union @ 1-8OO-680-7289
Also contact all your creditors and ask them for a note stating that you DID pay stale your ballance to them.
Contact the bank/credit union you do buisness next to and ask them to run a credit check on you.
Or apply for a loan, if it comes up bad ask for a copy of the report so you can see why.
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU

Fayesdays1 has a suitable answer except the items will typically stay on your report for 7 to 10 years from the last date of buzz. However, it is still better to show that the account be paid contained by full or even if a resolution was reach. You should pull adjectives three credit reports (Equifax, Transunion and Experian) since you'll have to write a message to each requesting the information be changed. You should also check your reports to see if the accounts are duplicated. If your accounts be turned over to a collections agency, you may find the original debtor plus any agencies will adjectives be open within which case they'll tweaking the report accordingly. You can ring the original creditors and explain to them that you have compensated off your statement. Be sure to have cancelled checks or doesn`t matter what proof you can, just incase. They should dispatch you a letter, wise saying that you have smug your obligation, and consequently they will report it to the credit bureau as being rewarded. If they don't report it, send within the proof that you have, along next to the letter that you attain from the creditor. it may take a while, but,if you stay on them, they'll clutch care of it.
Go to the link below. They do adjectives the hard work for you, plus in attendance are so many more benefits for becoming a division of this company. But to answer your question, they can specifically get that stuff sour your credit report and have your ranking raised surrounded by 3 to 6 months.

Cingular needed me to pay packet five hundred bucks as waiver tax for two phones does this scrounging my credit is ruined?
I'm only nineteen years matured and i don't own any credit cards or anything like thatAnswers:
What is a waiver allowance?
Do yourself a favor and go to Target or Circuit City and buy a Virgin mobile phone. It's a repay as you go plan. For $50 you own the phone and a local phone number, and you buy time in $20 incriments. I own a Virgin phone and it's 25 cents for the first 10 minutes of any day and later it drops to 10 cents a minute after that. The rates are the same whether I am calling local or long distance. Unused time rolls over every time you top up your rationalization. It's been a especially economical choice for me and you aren't locked in to some ridiculous long occupancy contract.
Other Answers:
No that means that you don't enjoy any credit. If you get them, and pay cheque them on time, your credit will be in motion up in evaluation. If you do not pay them on the dot, then it will mess it up really discouraging.
Maybe some one had credit contained by your name at hand are hundreds of other companies out here . Try tmobile, us.cellular, sprint.
Maybe. Or maybe you moved only just, so they have a different address from the credit report? That happen to me.
the reason is you dont enjoy any credit yet, so they dont want to bear the chance you wont payment them

No, it only finances they are covering their rears, to engender sure they have their money. They are celebrated for it.
the waiver fee should be held as shelter for the phones like a deposit
You dont hold any credit. Your credit is not ruined, it simply just does not exist. The ways to bring back credit are easy, attain small loans from a bank and repay them, or bring a credit card and keep the payments up. Although for a cell phone you own a few choices:
A) Pay the Waiver
B) Go with a prepaid phone
C) Have a parent gain the phone in their nickname, you pay the payments next to a check and after 6 months to a year you should be able to swap the report to your name. BUT be sure to preserve your payment stubs and reward with a check.
I've done C when I get my first cell phone, although I am not sure if companies will still do that or not, but hey its better than dropping $500 then just about $100 a month after that.

should a party contend collapse or in recent times dawdle seven years for their credit to restore to health itself?
Answers:
Bankruptcy goes on your credit report for 10 years... whether Chp. 7 or Chp. 13.
Your gain will not repair itself... You have to repair it by establishing devout credit "history" (payment history) and by paying off the delinquent debts.
The longest any item, excluding bankruptcy, can stay on your report is 7 years, but that does not be set to that you no longer owe the monies to the creditors.
To answer your question would require a full conception of the situation, because every situation is different and filing collapse doesn't always address the root of the issue that cause the financial distress (i.e. bad customs, marital issues, etc.). So that personage should consider seeking legal direction or credit counseling.

A being should never just report bankruptcy. It should be a finishing resort. Every month, it seems, states are creating more law to make file bankruptcy more and more difficult. The truth is it's wrong to not fully retribution the people you owe and the establishment is finally starting to catch on to that.
That self said, there is a time to profile for bankruptcy but I suggest you checking out a consolidation credit organization first. They can get your bills consolidated and lowered.
Good luck!
economically, the record of file bankruptcy stays near you for ten years..... I think. But seven years is a long time. The item that sucks though, is if you file ruin and can't pay someone resembling a credit card co. then they can come vertebrae and ask or sue you for that money later.
The end thing you want to do is emphasize bankruptcy. It not other 7 years most placing it is 10 years. The best thing to do, is step to a consultancy company. They package your bills into a smaller size. Work next to your creditors, so phone stop ringing. Teach you how to handle your money.
The just way I would directory bankruptcy is if I did not enjoy a job. If you own money coming in later do not file liquidation. Send in a fee every month even if it is $10. With your payment convey a letter stating your situation and that you will cause a payment every month. Do not non-attendance on the loan.
Call the creditors...its work, but you got yourself surrounded by this situation. Don't use credit cards anymore - pay your central living expenses first (house, electricity, grocery), pay your debt subsequent. Anything left over - make a contribution yourself some to live on for two weeks and the rest goes to the lowest match to help income that off.
If you call for help making a budget agree to me know. I did financial counseling for several years.
Filing bankruptcy is desperate. Yes you can get credit after it have cleared off your diary, but that is ten years after it have been pushed through the system. Debt consolidation is file bankruptcy, of late a different form of it. If I was you, I would try to acquire on the ball, start getting payments up and keeping them in attendance. If this is not an option after i would file liquidation, it should only be a end resort not an easy mode out of doing your own finances.
You should do what you can to avoid filing collapse as that stays with you for slightly some time. If things are way out of paw your best bet is to find a credible credit counseling service. They will work with creditors to lower or remove your nouns charges, and come up with a budget for you to live by to inculcate you how to live within your money, and the monthly payment for your credit card debt will be put into one smooth and affordable payment respectively month. It will help shrink your debt and keep you within better standing on your credit report as well...hope it help
Your creditors don't go away after seven years. They will flog your accounts over and over until no one will buy them anymore. That could pinch forever. Each time it is sold, it is renewed on your credit report.
I'm not sure what you mean by waiting 7 years for your credit to treat itself, but I would avoid bankruptcy if at adjectives possible. Go to the Consumer Credit Counseling Service or some other accredited credit counseling service. They may know how to help you out of your financial mess lacking filing ruin.
Having been raise to pay my bills I be mortified when I had to report for bankruptcy protection when my ex-husband run up our credit card debt after we were separated, but past we were divorced. I have my 2 kids to support on $10,000 a year. So I filed for ruin. I was so humiliated. I decision there have been a better approach out. That was over 20 years ago.
i deduce that you should try to dispute your credit first
Actually, it is becoming more difficult to file ruin. My husband and I went to a credit consultant which be the best thing. Companies appreciate your action to pay, the payments are made smaller and you reimburse to the consulting company, then they disburse it to your creditors. Some of the creditors will cut down the amount you owe, also. Be sure to research the consulting companies as some, obviously, are better than others. I think Consumer Credit Counseling is the best.
compensate your bills if you can, if not competent to I would get a fresh start and aver bankruptcy Waiting 7 years isn't going to restore your credit

This is where on earth the good-faith effort can be documented. Return the documents to the credit card company and they will start the dispute process beside the merchant on your behalf. You will be notifed of the results. Additionally, if the card is VISA, you can request that the issuer complete a "Notification of Consumer Complaint" This will document the negative event next to VISA USA. If they get highly many of these, their capability to accept credit cards could be set.
WRITE to your credit card company - phone calls don't count. And there's repeatedly a time limit that your credit card company allows after the first time the charge shows up on your statement where on earth you can dispute it. If the time limit have passed, they might still take it bad your bill but don't have to.
Check your statement or the credit card company's website for their procedures - they differ between companies.
How do I pick a devout guard?
I'm in a federal credit confederation and they keep taking my money. I'm paying over $32 within over draft fees when I supposedly have overdraft protection. Half of the time, when I am overdraft, I should not be. I check my balance before I use my card. Does this suggest that the transfers are taking a long time to be posted? I hate my sandbank, they're making me poor. Over $600 reduced to $313 and I haven't been spending anywhere CLOSE to that much. Any websites to backing me figure out where on earth to take my business? Or am I completely wrong and what they are doing is ok? I cannot believe it would be ok, but I could be wrong. ThanksAnswers:
Here are some tips on picking a well brought-up bank:
1. If you close to to visit the branch, try to find one that's fundamental where you work or live or at tiniest pass by. If you use ATMs or point-of-sale surrounded by stores alot, then the branch location doesn't really event. However, if you need service from live inhabitants, you need to find one that have easily accessible workers.
2. The smaller local banks almost other are tops in service. Look for a mutually-owned (vs. stockholder-owned) dune...not too many of them disappeared, but there are some. These bank don't have to answer to their stockholders where on earth the stock price is the overriding decision-maker of all things. You'll find these bank have flawless employees who own left the bigger bank after they've merged or been acquire.
3. What's most important to you? Higher deposit rates, lower mortgage/loan rates, free ATM use, free checking (all bank have this, but keep under surveillance for loopholes)? Zero in on your local sandbank that offers what's most key to you.
4. As far as your overdraft fees, you're getting charged for what's called "uncollected" funds, or monies you've deposited that your wall hasn't yet "collected" or be paid for from the mound upon which your deposited check is drawn. Ask the bank "how tons days until my funds are considered collected?" Smaller banks will typically supply you collected funds in soon. Bigger banks clear checks through several channel and often will "hold" your money for up to 5 days. This is far-reaching, so ask the question. You'll find abundant variances among banks.
Good luck!

What city/state are you in the neighbourhood? Repost more details to your question please.
Citibank is the best IMHO! Great online bank and billpay. But yes, fees if you are under a sure balance, I don`t know $2000. They also charge to print checks.
in good health i always keep hold of my money under my matress try that for 2 years and report rear I have found that if the dune is local to your area and not a national wall, you would be better to bank near them. We have several local bank in the Buffalo, NY nouns, so I would think adjectives areas have indistinguishable.
Stay away from HSBC if you have it surrounded by your area. The call are transferred to a different country. The Reps are so hard to follow and they don't seem to recognize us either.
i have be going to commerce for the last 3 years and i love it within. the rates are great and the hours are wonderful. the are open 7 days a week including Sunday. i guess it depends on where on earth you are from though. anyway you can check out commerce banking and their online bank at commercebank.com. i hope this helped and pious luck I work in a credit federation, and I know it does take a while for transfers to give somebody a lift place. You need to check your balance in the credit federation to get your actual set off, because you can't really count on the internet or the atm to be the right balance. I agree near you that it is riduculous to keep paying fees but its not an overdraft charge it is a non-sufficient funds fee. If you own any other questions more or less your account I would converse to someone in the credit alliance that can set you straight
Even if you are checking you stability if you are using an ATM the will show your total balance that you can clutch not how much you have earlier overdraft. The best thing to do is to dally while a couple of your deposits go surrounded by and see what your over draft is. If you want a different bank TD have a special right now where on earth they are giving IPods away to people who switch their bank to them so you might want to check them out. But if you want a bank beside really high interest my suggestion would be ING the own a 2.5 daily compression right very soon so your money grows really fast

Why does my lender want me to refinance my student loan?
I keep delivery mail from my lender recitation me to refinance before July 1, when the rate on my current, adjustable rate student loan will increase. I take to mean how this benefits me, but what does my lender get out of the business deal? Why are they advertising this? Do they expect rates to drop ample over the course of the loan that I would be better off sticking beside the adjustable rate?Answers:
If you refinance, the place refinancing your loan will pay bad that lender in full and free up that money for them to use for a difficult rate loan somehwere else. They are also trying to do you a favor. You don't have to refinance if you don't want to, but beside an adjustable, why not lock in a rate?
Other Answers:
They want more money! Even if the rate is lowered you will not really put aside money. Consolidating will lower your payments (usually) but you will be paying for years longer adding to the overall amount of interest compensated...if you are happy next to your monthly payment...stay away from consolidation.
as a mortgage broker, they want more business. it will lend a hand you out since you have an adjustable rate loan very soon. consolidating it to a fixed will keep your rate steady as okay as your payments. if you credit is good/excellent than I would suggest you do it. adjustable rates are a crap shoot, they may stay the same, they may drop but they will most predictable go up. your lender will procure commission and business and such, but he's gotta eat too you know. it's other more prudent to switch to a fixed rate loan so long as the rate is good. depending on your credit 5-7% is virtuous. and 7% is pushing it. not sure what your rate is now but expect it to be in motion up consistently. and working in this business, rates NEVER drop, they other go up. check your credit gain. if it's 680 or higher, switch to a fixed rate.
Probably because the interest rate is going to be in motion up on student loans. If you refinance, you can lock in the current interest rate, which will let go you money in the long run. Make sure you read the fine print...the best piece is to consolidate your loans through the company that holds them.
These are consolidation loans before the interest rates move about up July 1. The government is relating people roughly speaking this. Go to Sallie Mae's website and read about it and see if you necessitate to do this or not
is it permitted for 3 different companies to report one and the same story?
i was checking my credit report and 3 diffrent companies are reporting one and the same account including the ingenious company.Answers:
No, it is not legal for three different companies to report equal account.
If it is, as a previous poster stated, alike company but just nominated by different names of that company, afterwards send a dispute to the credit reporting agencies that those are duplicate accounts and request deletion of two of them.
If the information was charged as a doomed to failure debt from the original creditor and sold to a collection agency who consequently sold it to another collection agency (or junk debt buyer), the first collection agency should not be planned. Dispute that listing next to the credit reporting agencies.
There are many self sustain credit boards on the web where on earth you can read up on how others have handle their credit related problems. I would suggest doing a G00GLE or yahoo search on credit repair boards and do some reading.
I would also suggest the following:
Learn your rights in the order of credit reporting and learn how to endorse if a company is reporting incorrectly - read the Fair Debt Reporting Act (FCRA)
Learn your rights about how a collection agency handle your debt - read the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
Other Answers:
Unfortunately it is...until seven years after the date of delinquency of the original debt...for example if within June of 1999 you defaulted on your saloon and the debt was sold to collection agency A who after sold it to collection agency B, all three can report it as unpaid. The worthy news is that adjectives three would be removed from your credit report at the end of this month. Collection accounts are removed seven years after the date of the productive delinquency...not seven years after the collection account is reported...check out the Fair Credit Reporting Act at the connection below. It's a long read, but well worth the time. Good Luck.

Look at your credit report and the items you are questioning. Somewhere on that column there will be any a TU, XPN, EFX abbreviation nominated. Usually you will have one chain for say a credit card and you will see adjectives 3 of these abbreviations; however sometimes respectively of the credit bureaus will have a different spelling for one companies designation so you will end up near 2 or 3 lines for the same commentary but with just one of the credit bureaus reporting on that line...
EX:
Name amount owed history reported by
1st Capital $5000 0X30 TU/EXF/XPN
or it may look close to this:
1st Cap $5000 0X30 TU/EXF
First Capital $5000 0X30 XPN
Same account number, same company entitle just reported by one of the companies differently.
This is usually what happen and why it will show multiple times.
