How can I find out if someone have file ruin?

Answers:
look up on your state's website. It is public record.

Other Answers:
it is a concern of public records. turn to the federal court house to inquire. you will need ss#

If you have a right to know, it will appear on their credit report. If you don't, you could find it within the court records if you know where they might own filed. I'm not sure that it would be any of your business if some one else file bankruptcy. If it's some one you intend to receive into some financial situation with, after you should know that person very well enough not to necessitate to ask that question. If you don't know them that all right, then you own no need to draw from into any situation with them.

Stay out of some one else's affairs. If you know their ssn#, you could look up their credit history once the bankruptcy have been discharged. I should speak when you think it's be discharged. Just an fyi, in grip you don't know already, once a year you are allowed to look up your credit history w/o being charged. Whatever the credit bureau's are, for some sense I can't remember what three bureau's are out there, but anyhow that's one course. If you are trying to be secretive more or less it, you could become your own little P.I and snoop around in their house or room to see what you find or you could hire a definite P.I. and do it that way. Hope this help.

What do creditors give the name a complicated credit rack up?

Answers:
I believe fatwallet.com has info in the region of this. I believe, not positive, that the hard credit gain means they verbs your report as an inquiry instead of viewing for updates. When making a purchase such as a mortgage or lease a hard hit is made. When you hold a credit card - periodic checks are done by your creditor to net sure your score or credit status hasn't changed drastically. Some credit cards will angle the rate if your delinquent on any other bills, but it isn't considered a hard hit when they check you credit similar to this.. There is a name for this type of credit check but I can't reflect of the name. Hope this help. Like I said I am not positive. Check out the website though fatwallet.com..... I read some forums there quicker about this subject. There is a index of companies that pull these. Not an extensive record - but list.....

Other Answers:
as far as I know a complicated credit score is unsophisticatedly an inquiry into your credit history. Hard inquiry refers to deeply researching your credit if you be applying for a credit card or loan or something that of nature. A easier said than done credit score could penny-pinching your lower of three scores. Most empire usually use your median score or your middle chalk up.

i muse there are phone numbers on every application they convey you. or just name what ever number you found in the e-mail, they will transfer you to the chain you want to talk to
YES THERE IS!! I call it once and now I never recieve apps. Its great! There is just one call you engineer and all the companies stop sending apps. but I dont enjoy the number. Sorry. Why don't you ask someone on RunEye.com?
This works,

buy a cheap paper shredder. every time you take an application, open it up transport the reply envelope out, shred the the remaining, put everything back into the envelope, stamp it and mail it put money on.

on the bottom of the reply envelope there is similar to a barcode that they scan that gives them your info any ways. so when they stretch out it up to see the shredded mess all over, they will bring you off the mail list.

I do this to adjectives my applications that come in the messages that is unwanted. Now, I don't take junk communication or unwanted items. My postal carrier is much happier because he have less to deliver to my house on a weekly foundation.

Usually you cannot opt out of credit card applications by phone. Some associates mislead you and say that you can. You can do almost any application by phone, but to bring back out of it, you must do it in writing. To them, anyone can canceel by phone. Its a protective point to say but it help their case to breed it more difficult to get out. So do write a note. Register the letter and keep hold of a copy for your files. After five working days (be sure to exclude statutory holidays as well as Saturdays and Sundays), give the name to verify that they have received your message. In the mean-time, do not use the credit card, if you have already received it and you can also ask the enjoy the card canceeled if you are in possession of the card. That funds you nor anyone else can use it. The number is usually at the back of the credit card(if you already hold it) 24 hours you should be able to receive service.

Will my credit ranking be lowered if I check or inquire nearly it?

Answers:
It puts a small dint in it. You're allowed to see your credit report free, next to no harm to you, once a year, you can dance to annualcreditreport.com I think and it give you the report from three different credit bureaus.

Other Answers:
nope
no
no it wont trust me
It will lower with 5 or more inquiries inside a 90day period.
If you are thinking of going to http://www.freecreditreport.com I would go over. Check this site out: http://www.ripoffreport.com
No. Just like your credit report itself, you are simply allowed unlimited access to your own report. Those inquiries do now show up or effect your numerical rack up.

What does is inquiries from other places either when you apply for credit or if current creditors do annual updates.
Checking your own evaluation doesn't hurt you at all. But when somebody else does it (a credit card company you applied to, for example), it might. That will show up on your report. It might not hurt it plentifully, but if there adequate inquiries, it may be a red flag.
yes, but only temporarily as adjectives enquiries decrease your ranking however it will go rear legs to normal the following month unless you do something and a lender after needs to history it against you the next month approaching a late transmittal on a credit agreement.
Unfortunately, yes! This is something they don't and won't tell you. Everytime or any time you or some one else checks your credit history it go against your ability to get credt each time this occur. It is very historic to check your credit , but be aware of the regs regarding such. YOU hold to investigate. because THEY won't inform you. Good Luck

Yes..and no

Depends where you are getting your report from. If you obtain it direct from the provider, no.

If you are getting it from a loan giving place of business yes.

When you apply for credit, they pull a "hard" inquiry. The ones that show up. If you go and get it from the provider it is a "soft" inquiry and doesn't show up.
No unless you authorize someone else such as a creditor etc.
The unequivocal answer is no. You are allowed, by law, to monitor your own credit. Also, by canon, you are entitled to free credit reports annually. http://www.annualcreditreport.com is the federally sanctioned web verbs. Credit scores are not free but they can be obtain at this sight as okay. Additional credit reports can be obtained throughout the year as resourcefully without effecting your score but must be purchased. Or if you are denied credit you can obtain a free report if you respond inside thirty days.

freecreditreport.com is designed to lure people to their verbs and, obviously, it seem to work. I continue to see incorrect answers referring associates to this sight.

Can a personage travel to penal complex for not paying off a saloon loan?

Answers:
No there is no debtors prison anymore...

Other Answers:
yup
No - i.e. a CIVIL thing, not CRIMINAL...
yes i know im yung but my brother within law did
sure can
No. As long as the sports car has be given back, they cannot.
no; freshly stays on ur credit report for life
Oh yeah. and they can hold anything else in your moniker, plus you would be required to pay the loan anyway. Why wouldn't you money it? You borrowed the money, you drive the car. Did you ponder it was free?
I surmise they would garnish your take-home pay checks, tax returns, and your sandbank accounts, your better off making arrangements, but if you evasion, they will seize your money from any accounts you hold.
depends ---dint make any expenditure? and basically stole it? it will be repossesd...the credit will be within shambles...but jail? nah...no debtors prsions surrounded by america any more. they can repo it---auction it off and distribute you the bill for the difference
it's dealing with a breach of contract (which is signed when reception the loan); that breach of contract will get you to court and if convicted, you'll probably fall up paying a lot more than if the loan be just rewarded back; no incarcerate time however, just your credit report, and duration, in shambles.

... you contemplate interest was a b*#&$, see what happen if you don't pay pay for the loan!
Sure Can, I beleive it is called breaking and entering by deception.
To Rita....surrounded by order to be convicted of "theft by deception" you own to prove there be a fraud involved. Hard to prove. Most law enforcement agencies will freshly tell you to pursue civil engagements.

You will not go to lock away for any loan (credit cards included) unless it can be proven a criminal intent to defraud. In this case adjectives they will do is repo the car, and turn after you for any remaining balance to the loan. It's not a criminal work, but creditors love to scare you into thinking it is.
Not within the USA.
You can not be jailed for failure to retribution a civil debt. You can have your assets seized, and wages garnisheed, but under regular situations you can not be jailed.

If you are ordered by a court, such as in a liquidation case, to return the vehicle to the lender, or to produce financial documents, and you refuse, you could be jailed for contempt of court!

Collection agencies will try to report to you all sorts of false stuff, to try to startle you into making payments.
no, they'll just hunt you down, bring back the sports car and take a giant dump on your credit report.
Of course they can..it's call "Debtors Prision"
it's in Oklahoma. If you are a tiniest 2 Month's late you can draw from 20 years
I have to believe the populace who are saying in that is a chance of going to prision are being silly with you.

Only if you enjoy obtained the vehicle under fraudulent circumstances, such as using someone elses label, could you go to send down and that isn't for not paying for the car, specifically for committing fraud.

Debtor's prisions were outlawed at most minuscule 50 years ago.

However, if you have the sports car and can't pay for it, return it to the nouns company. You can't drive if for free
they'll repossess your car and shoot you surrounded by the kneecaps
and your credit rating will be shot

What is the best credit card suited for me?

I'm 19, from Florida and i have never have a credit card and i obviousley have no credit. I want to receive my first credit card but it seems resembling every advertisement sent to me have a huge interest rate. What card do you think would be the best for me? I am not a student.

Answers:
To start you requirement a credit card and the interest will be high so don't turn wild spending, linger 3 months they 'll increase your credit limit and other bank will start sending you more cards to choose from. Just remember it takes time to built credit history and receive good rates (a year at tiniest or more).
Don't be in a rush and biddable luck.

Other Answers:
American Express because there is no interest. BUT, you would not qualify minus previous credit.

If you don't want to clear high interest, you'll enjoy to open some secured cards, first. Other than that, you'll be lucky to find anything below 16%. You haven't proven yourself to be worthy of credit all the same -- you haven't proven to anyone that your word is any good. This is merely a fact of go, I'm afraid. Go for a card with no annual allowance. Pay off the go together every month, and you do not have to settle any interest.

None. All credit cards do is allow you to spend money you don't enjoy. If you don't have the money very soon, where's it going to come from when the bill rolls in?

Best is to stay away from credit cards for good. Just put whatever you're inclined to pay to a credit card company ($100 per month? $200?) into a money account and you'll be capable of buy the same stuff, but for much cheaper because you won't be paying interest.

Keep adding up into the savings picture and when you go to bring back your home mortgage (the ONLY thing you should borrow money for), that $10,000 or more will show them better than any credit gain that you can handle your finances.

You're not a student, but you SHOULD invest surrounded by a course in personal nouns (NOT one sponsored by Visa or Mastercard!). Check out the Financial Peace course offered by Dave Ramsey (his website is listed below). It really get our boat going in the right direction (instead of circles, or worse, sinking!)

Why doesn't my credit report show my credit mark?

It got my credit report online from Experian. Why doesn't it show my credit mark?

Answers:
Because they want you to pay to in actual fact see what your score is. As long as you enjoy good lines of credit, you are fine.

Other Answers:
some places charge extra to see that, some individuals dont want to even know, scary :(
You may not hold enough of a history to hold a score. I run into this adjectives the time.
Source(s):
Mortgage lender
Your credit report and crdit score are if truth be told two very different things.

Your report shows your history, things close to how often you apply for credit, how habitually you've paid unpaid, and how much money you owe in total.

Your win is an evaluation of your creditworthiness. It is a quantification of the most important item from your report: timlieness of payments, how long you've had credit, etc.

Because your evaluation is computed from the information on your report, it would be a conflict if your score be on the report, and it would also make it difficult to hold on to up-to-date.
Because you have to retribution the $7.95 to get that factor. The "Score" is not part of the "free report".
There are 3 credit report agencies: equifax, transunion, and experian. Two will furnish you just a credit report beside no score and transunion will bestow you your score or report. You hold to request it will you apply for it. You can't get both from this company.
You hold to pay extra !
The origin you don't get your mark is because federal law does not require it for free. Up until 2004 you have to pay for your credit report (unless you be denied credit) until federal law mandate free reports to consumers annually.

The feds, however, are discussing guidelines for the cost of a credit score. Soon in that will be a set amount you have to foot for a score. The feds are discussing amounts between $5 an $7 per gain per bureau.
You have to buy it. Go to MyFico.com. Then
put within the discount CODE: CPPSAVINGS..it will cost you $11.95 per CRA..you'll get your report & rack up

what is the best prepaid debit card?

visa, mastercard, american express

Answers:
The best prepaid debit card depends on why you want the debit card.

1. Can't get a sandbank account or a credit card
If you're within chexsystems or have a low credit card, you should step for a reloadable debit card. You should try to get a card that offer free direct deposit and free customer service. Here are some suggestions:
- Rushcard/Babyphat card
- Citi greendot card
- Netspend card

2. Give allowance money to a teen
The visa buxx card is designed to help teens swot up to spend. You can transfer money to the visa buxx card and see what it is self spent on. National City, US Bank and Wachovia offer visa buxx cards

3. Gift card
Visa offer a lot of bequest cards through many bank. American express also offers a bequest card. Both the visa and American Express gift cards are official widely. The American Express Gift card is gold contained by color, comes in a nice box and looks massively classy.

4. To withdraw funds from your sandbank account
Most checking accounts proposal a linked debit card. I'd suggest you find the right checking vindication, with branches and ATMs around where on earth you are.

5. Travel money
Travel money cards offer the convenience of a card beside the safety of not have to carry brass. As they aren't linked to a guard account, your explanation can't get drained if your card is stolen. American Express and AAA give travel cards. I'd recommend the Travelers Cheque Card from American Express as it offers refund or replacements within 24 hours anywhere within the world, has lost passport assistance and worldwide customer support.

A great source to research prepaid debit cards is prepaidcardforum.com. They own articles, reviews and discussions on a lot of prepaid debit cards.

Other Answers:
visa ...it's everywhere you want to be!
Just use doesn`t matter what your current bank offer automatically (there usually isn't a choice of Visa/MC/AmEx). If you do want to seek out a out of the ordinary brand, though, Visa has a change rewards program, but beware, because Visa and MC all charge fees on their cards if it's an opt-in program.
Debit cards, by definition, are prepaid. A debit card draws from the symmetry in your checking rationalization and has no stance on your credit history. The only things to look for when vent a checking account (which assigns you a debit card) are the fees (checking fees,ATM fees, etc.)

Go next to a bank or credit grouping that has no ATM fees.

Since I'm fresh within the country, how can i carry started on my credit, whats the fast opening?

Answers:

When I was investigational in the US and have to build my credit, here were the steps I did:

1. Apply for a store card. Macy's approved me, but JC Penny did not (I never shopped at a JC Penny store ever again). Gap also give me a card.

2. Apply for a credit card with your ridge. Most banks take their own credit cards, e.g. Bank of America. Since you are a depositor in the wall, request them for a credit card. They are more likely to approve you.

3. Go to Costco, become a contestant and apply for American Express card.

You can also buy a car -- but expect to be slapped next to ridiculously high interest rates. I applied for a motor loan and I got approved but at 15% interest rate. A friend, who's also an immigrant, get a car loan for 21% interest rate -- adjectives because we did not have any credit history.

Then linger. In about a year, you can start applying to other credit cards and you can start convalescing rates (if you pay your bills on time).

It's not smooth being foreign to a country and finding that no one would grant you credit because you have no credit history, even so you can't build credit history because no one would tender you credit.
Start by applying for a gasoline or department store credit card. Use it and pay past its sell-by date your balance surrounded by full every month. You will slowly build your credit. They key is to prove that you are worthy of credit by human being responsible. Most companies will extend you a small amount of credit just to see if you droop yourself. I started this way and immediately my credit is fantastic. I have a particularly high credit evaluation and can purchase anything that I need. Just remember a credit card is a short possession loan. Don't buy anything with the card unless you know you own or will have the money to wages for it. Mess up this first chance and you will be tricky pressed to get another. Good luck to you.

start paying on a utility bill every month and in good time...of -course you will ahve to pay so much down since you hold no credit but that will be refunded after 6 months or a year,,,after going on for a year you'll be well on your approach to having fitting credit if you have a commission for a year you can also get a coup¨¦ easy which will build your credit faster... reimburse the bill on time every month and don't money the loans off to briskly.. best of luck ...stay away from credit cards
The best way is gather about $4,000 and use it for a down expense on a car usually selling for $19,000

Make adjectives your payments on time at smallest 6 months. No late payments and you'll own credit offers coming out your ears inside a year

Don't accept more than 3 credit cards and other pay the be a foil for off at the expiration of the month. Don't get caught contained by the credit trap or you'll ruin the next ten years of your duration.Once you get desperate credit its very frozen and long to fix it.

How do you come up next to the Date of Last Activity on a Credit Report.?

Answers:
Goodness!

According to Section 605 subsection (a) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act,

the date of last buzz is:

the earlier of:

(1) the date the creditor charged the item rotten to profit or loss or
(2) the date it was referred to a collection agency.

So, if you own a Bank One Credit Card account that be charged off after 180 days ancient due on December 2003 and it was referred to a collection agency on March 2004, and you settled to pay it surrounded by full on December 2004, then

Your credit report would show "PAID AFTER CHARGE-OFF" next to a $0 balance for Bank One through November 2010 which is seven years AFTER it be charged off ==> December 2003 through November 2010 is seven years.

This is the ruling. Doesn't matter when you salaried it or if you part-pay. Totally irrelevant. Don't believe the hype. Believe the LAW!

If your credit bureau is "re-aging" your date of last distraction, kindly refer them to this Section of the Act and you will be surprised how at a rate of knots they remove their error.

Other Answers:
The Creditor reports to the credit bureau and that is the end activity (I believe).
most report monthly...even if the details is no longer used by the consumer. the last hobby refers to the reporting actions of the creditor
It is the end date the creditor reported to the Credit Report Company.
Last activity is not other when the company stops reporting.

Last updated is different altogether.

Example:

Jc Penney CC

500 Limit

0 Balance

Opened 2/2001

Closed 3/2003

Updated 6/2006
______________________________...

Here what I think you are looking for. If that strip of credit is a charge-off, usually they credit agencies will delete it if JC Penney hasnt updated the info for 2 years. Regardless of good or doomed to failure. They would delete it if you dispute it. However....if it is charged off, the agencies sitting duck 7 years by the date it was CLOSED. If you construct a payment speak 6 months after it was charged stale, they can move the date up, however, most do not.

So, if JCPenney is updating it, and it was charged bad in 2003, you will hold a hard time getting it removed up to that time the 7 year mark.

Hope that help.

There's plenty of them out nearby. Only problem is, they're now requiring thousands of miles for even the smallest trips and blacking out huge section of times (i.e. you can only travel between 10 pm and 5 am). Better to stay away from the credit cards and a short time ago pay for your trips next to cash (via a check card attached to your checking account). That bearing, you don't have to verbs about interest or deferred fees.

Does the collections agency own to agree to rob your payments?

I owe a debt to a collection agency that I want to start paying, I am wondering if they will accept 200.00 or so a month or if they will emergency that I repay the entire amount at once- which is not possible at this time for me.
Thank you

Answers:
Contact the agency, don't dally for them to call you. Most times when you're calling into an agency, as unwilling them calling you, the agent will be a lot smaller amount aggressive. If they STILL demand the full amount, STAND FIRM!! Explain that your intention is to repay your debt, but that you involve to make arrangements to repay your debt surrounded by a way that you can follow through on. If this doesn't work, convey them a letter notify them of your intentions to pay, the amount you will reimburse monthly, and when you will send the wage each month. Next, dispatch them the first payment. What are they going to do, convey your money back and voice they don't want it?!?!? Most important---pay on time, stick to what you agreed upon. Good luck, I hope this information is accepting.

Other Answers:
i beleive they even have to adopt a payment as little as 5.00 dollars a month. You are likely to repay your debt but don't quote me on that.

You can other try. Make sure you take a look at the quiz that I asked earlier contained by Credit -- Does paying off accounts within collections really improve your credit evaluation? -- There was some thoughtful advice from a couple personal bankers. Normally if YOU contact them, they will work beside you on payments. Two hundred dollars sounds fair but it depends on the amount you owe. Something else you can do is negotiate a smaller final bill if you rate it off smartly.

The companies are much more flexible if you contact them and try to work out things. If they have to track you down, a transfer of funds may be viewed as simply a delay tactic.

Once you do reach an agreement, pay cheque it quickly and prompt.

Ususally if you hold a checking account they will tolerate you pay anyway you want but within $50.00 at time.So 2 x a month or 1 x a month. Just call them. They'll a moment ago be glad you did. B We need to get hold of a couple points very clear first.

1. Why are you even discussion to the collection agency? You do not owe them a dime, you owe the original collector. THAT is the soul you need to contact. Unless the collection agency have purchased your debt outright, you have no duty to talk to them at adjectives.

2. DO NOT pay them a single dime until they agree IN WRITING to remove any glum information from your credit history. You are trying to restore your credit, remember? If you pay them rotten and the report is still on your history, what was the point? Now you enjoy bad credit AND you are broke.

That said.....

They do not hold to accept anything. By sending them a check, and they adopt it, they are technically agreeing to a payment plan. If they verbs to take it they are lawfully obligated to accept the payments. So they will beg to be excused your check if they don't think it's plenty.

Use the sample notification in the cooperation below to write a payment proposal to them. Don't find silly and offer a tiny amount similar to $5. You didn't say what your set off is, but $200 a month seems approaching a very carnival offer unless you owe afterwards thousands of dollars.

You will find that dealing with the inspired creditor will be much easier then the collection agency. You own to understand their mindset. They don't thinking about you, your credit history, or your predicament. They simply want your money, and as much as possible.

The creditor is paying the collection agent at least 30% of the harmonize, so he will many times adopt a lesser amount of money next you owe. And as long as you keep up your payments, he will verbs to work with you, and even verbs your record.

If they make clear to you they can't remove the negative information from your transcript, he's lying. Credit Reporting Agencies only report information that creditors transport them, and creditors can change or remove their listings any time the want.
Only the creditor have the power to change/remove your credit history.

Until someone can show me verifiable evidence to dispute this, I will continue to shift by what the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Fair and Accurate Transctions Act say.

Watch your movements, they become habit.
Watch your behaviour, they become character.
Watch your individuality, it becomes destiny.

You file for bankruptcy for a cause.

Stop living beyond your means. You didn't luck up on a vehicle where you owe $10,000 MORE than the trade surrounded by value. $567 a month is rent on a one-bedroom aparment surrounded by the South!

There is nothing shameful going on for leaving below your system.

Refinancing is not an option surrounded by your situation. You are upside down. Why would a finance company want to wages your loan off at $23,500 when the advantage of the car is $10,000 smaller amount than the loan? The collateral is inadequate.

If you don't remuneration the refinancer, they have a network loss of $10,000 when they repossess your car from your work place parking lot..

I regard as you need to return the saloon to the dealer, lift the hit on your credit report, and start riding the bus. I can NOT believe that you filed for ruin and thought it was cool to remuneration $567 for a gas-guzzling SUV after you discharged your debts..

You got the bruise, but didn't revise the lesson.

Your credit is an extension of your character and it is time that you cart inventory of your character.

You are NOT your saloon. Who are you flossing for?

Get a used Honda hooptie and make natural life easier for yourself.

Why do you need a big motor like that? Can you afford the gas? If you can obtain away with driving Hyndai, Saturn, trade contained by. The savings on gas alone is huge. The coup¨¦ depreciate as time goes by. Trade contained by while it's still worth something. A lot of times, people enjoy to sell stocks at loss. Don't surface bad just about it.

you could try the link on my profile they don't mind giving individuals second chances near bad credit
i presume your main problem isn't your credit but the helpfulness of the vehicle versus the loan amount Sell the car and reward whatever you obtain for it on the loan. If you get $20,000 for it, you'll merely owe $3,500, instead of $23,500. Only problem is, the bank will want the money presently (since you don't own the collateral anymore). If you can pay $567/month, you can afford to discharge off the loan smartly and get something smaller and cheaper (think dated and beat up).

Save some money every month (say, $150-200) and at the extremity of one year, you'll have around $2000 available to wages CASH for a used car. Keep in your favour the same $150 and contained by another year, trade in your outdated car for a newer one. Keep doing this and contained by just a few years, you'll be driving a belatedly model car near NO PAYMENTS!

Never, EVER buy a new vehicle. As you enjoy learned, they depreciate immensely quickly and you NEVER procure your money back out of them.
