At a grocery store downtown, there is a bit "bulletin board" type thing close by the cash register that have copies of "bad checks." This wouldn't bother me much, it's just the certainty that these checks include the names and address of the people who wrote them. Now, mind you, I do not uphold bouncing your checks, but I know one of these people, and she is a single mother of three who accidentally wrote a impossible check. Is it legal to post these checks? If it is/isn't, what is a court clause/law supporting or refuting it? Thanks!

I come up with it is legal to register the names of these society, but it is dangerous for the store to print their name, addresses, and details numbers (if they are just making copies of the checks and putting them up) surrounded by one general location.
