Question almost more or less bleak credit and apartment applications?
Question:
This place I want to live says they use a company call "safe rent"
I hold a fica score of 541 does anyone know if I will go beyond the safe rent system. I own never been evicted.
-Jonathan
Answer:
Jonathan - Your credit win is not bad, and you give you've never been evicted, which is a big plus within your favor.
They will be looking at your income verses the amount of rent you will be required to payment, I believe they ask that you earn 4 times the amount of the rent. So if the rent is $100.00 you must earn $400.00 and so on.
Apply for the apartment and have confidence that you it will be yours. If not, it be not meant to be. If they do turn you down, be sure to ask why, they hold to tell you.
Good Luck
Rent is base mainly upon mission and income, along with ancient rental history. If you can afford it and have never be in trouble as far as renting, you will more than feasible get within.
I'm not sure what safe rent is...as long as you don't enjoy any charge offs and not been evicted, you should be fine, but I don't know 100% sure
With the FICO chalk up, you should be fine as long as you have zilch major surrounded by collections. And if you are already in the apartment I can't predict they would evict you know based on credit mark
Depends on what they are looking for. Some complexes only look for evictions, some look for criminal history, or stable career history. If apartments quit letting people surrounded by because of low credit scores, they would be hollow. That is all too adjectives.
I am sure that you will.
I dont know what safe rent it but you might try looking it up online to see what the criteria is...you might even nickname the company and pose as a landlord to attain more information about the process that they use to peak tenants.
Do this until that time you apply as some landlords charge an outrageous fee to even RUN your credit.
GOOD LUCK
and if this place turns you down, preserve looking.
If you have a wearing clothes job it should not be a problem to find a wearing clothes place no matter what your credit gain is.
Depends on what the bad credit is and if within is good credit to harmonize it out. I look at a credit report to get a glimpse of the character of the prospective renter. Is this guy a flake and an excuse maker or is he a dutiful responsible guy who just have some bad luck?...
You inevitability to get ahead of the activity and get a copy of yor credit report. Write a short memo (2 paragraphs) and explain that you are a good risk, you of late had a complex time THAT YOU LEARNED FROM. By being up front (and organized) you are putting your best foot forward and enjoy a better chance of impress the decision initiator.
Safe rent is a screening company dedicated to helping landlords and leasing corporations procure the right tenants for their properties.
What they look for will not necessarily be your FICO gain but rather if you hold judgments against you, bankruptcy's or a criminal register. Evictions for non- payment or distruction etc.

MBNA Platinum Rewards Credit Card?
Question:
I am considering applying for this credit card as it says you get hold of 2000 points free and 1 point for every lb1 spent.
Can anyone tell me if within this case 2000 points is equal to lb20 when exchanging the points for dosh?Would it be equal to less than lb20?I enjoy looked on different sites but it does not say.
Answer:
Reward credit cards reward you depending on the amount you spend on the credit card. Usually, you can collect rewards through 3 methods. One method involves earn cash final on the card, which is generally a reliable percentage of each amount you spend. The subsequent method involves giving points or any other type of token to the customers to accrue. They can then redeem these points for gifts similar to luggage, cosmetics and other goodies that the credit card company offers. Most of these reward scheme have alluring gifts and huge mixture of selections. But the better odds is to go for a currency back reward as it allows you to use the money any channel you like.
its worth shopping around at present for the best deal on credit cards mbna is not one of the best offer at the moment
A guy who I used to know him used my home address and his pet name apply for his credit card. Is that officially recognized?
Question:
What should I do to stop him?
Answer:
If you are getting the mail address to this guy at your place, just contact the ethnic group sending the mail and inform them the guy does not live at that address. Return all correspondence back to them. I would not consent to this guy do this. Who knows what else he would use your information on? Also, if he stops paying his bills, the bill collectors will start contacting you roughly getting him to pay up. There are some bill collectors that may try to go and get you to think that you are somehow officially obligated to pay this guys bill. Just avoid adjectives of this nonsense and nip this deceitful address thing surrounded by the bud.
No that is not legitimate as he does not reside at your address and I would report him to the police/ or credit buerau.
Well, when you get the credit card surrounded by the mail, chop it up! That'll coach him!!
Or if you want to be real official, give it vertebrae to the mailman saying that human being does not live there and hold him return to sender.
I'd personally chop it up; after adjectives it shouldn't be at your address to begin next to.
If the card is in his identify, and under his social warranty, it doesn't sound unlawful.
I'd simply call the wall and inform them that no one by that given name lives at that address. If they continue mail stuff, just sap it as return to sender and put it back contained by the mail.
Why does it business? If the statements are coming to your house, and you want to stop them, simply put them back surrounded by your mailbox with - 'not at this address' - on the front of the envelope. The credit card company will after contact him for a new address.
Just write "Addressee Unknown" on the envelope and convey it back. The card issuer will lug care of the rest.
What are incentives/savings for paying change for an auto?
Question:
Answer:
Incentive -You can normally negotiate a lower price for cashthan credit.
Saving - Interest rented, plus the above
when you pay lolly, you have no debt
when you hold debt, you pay interest...and interest is a ruthless robber of your money when you're contained by debt...the clock ticks on interest and you will always owe more
income cash!
You'll retrieve money, because you won't be paying interest in appendage to the sticker price. Keep in mind that automobiles depreciate almost promptly so the more money you don't have to rate, the more you are getting for it.
When paying cash the dealer WILL NOT give you the best contract !! They want you to finance that vehicle so they can gain the interest.
Always ALWAYS m ake your best deal after tell them you enjoy the cash.
If you settle cash you squirrel away a load $$$ on not have to pay interest.(as next to any loan) Save save rescue and pay dosh for most everything and you financial life will be great.
Caution. The first answer is INCORRECT. Dealer's get money on finding financing for you vehicle. They will not give you a better rate if you wage cash.
However, I've nominated some pros & cons for paying cash.
Pro: If you money cash, you own the vehicle outright. You don't hold to make payments, you don't own to pay interest. When you want to trade the sports car in, you don't own to worry going on for how much you owe on the car.
Cons: If you hold very apt credit and can get a low adequate interest rate, you can SAVE money by financing the car. How? If you can put the money into a Money Market details and earn more interest than you would owe, then you can receive payments out of the money market and in reality keep the difference surrounded by interest. Also, this will help boost your credit - because you are making payments against a debt.
The article below help with some Financing information, should you prefer to do that.
http://development1.blogspot.com/2007/01...
wow let me relay you cash negotiations
you can negitagte a much better deal and price.
no interest! no monthly contribution hanging over your come first.
Peace when you lay your head down at dark knowing you dont have that clearance hanging over your boss! That does it for me alone!lol
If you have the brass you probably have great credit. Usually if you're buying a bright car in that are great deals at the dealership for low interest rates (0% up to 3.9% are the most common) if you qualify for one of these rates TAKE IT! You can cause at least 5% bad of your cash by putting it surrounded by a money market stash account, after you are still making money off of your money instead of putting it adjectives into the purchase at once. If you DO pay currency you aren't required to carry full insurance coverage so your insurance bill could turn down if you remove coverage like comprehensive and collision. Although, if you're paying bread for something I would suggest insuring it fully!
If you pay currency, you won't pay any interest
no saloon payment. you receive the keep the money you hold coming in instead of watching it move about out. car also go down in attraction quick. so if a 20k sports car is only worth 9 within five years, you've lost 11k or a little over 2 regal a year. it's better to get a well-mannered used vehicle so you don't take that financial hit.
If you marry someone near unpromising credit, how much does it certainly effect your really appropriate credit?
Question:
Would it effect it drastically or just a moment or two bit. Anyone that's been through this, please donate me some advice. No smart a** comments please. Thanks
Answer:
Don't apply for credit together, don't purchase anything together and it will not show on your credit report at adjectives.
No effect on you at all unless you purchase something together.
I found this website that might serve you.
http://www.360financialliteracy.org/life...
it wont affect it.
marring someone with unpromising credit isn't going to make your credit unpromising
HOWEVER you should help your husband obtain good credit because that's newly the nice thing to do when you're married.
create him clean it up first.
seriously, you will share credit, I messed up my husbands good credit beside my bad credit.
nope
It with the sole purpose effects you if you are going to have them as a co-signer on a loan for a home or coup¨¦.
No, only if you are signed on together. Example, you are both on a vehicle loan or cosigned a credit card. basically it stays seperate. There are cases where on earth a husband abused a credit card and the credit card company came after him, because it be obvious he made the purchases or vice versa. They will usually sue you if it comes to this for the $$$.
It does not effect your credit until you start buying stuff together!
It shouldn't own any effect as long as he cleans up his act. When my wife and I get married, she had horrible credit (she have gone to credit counseling and had tons of consumer debt). I have excellent credit. I still have excellent credit (beacon evaluation of about 745) and presently her credit is actually for a while better than mine (beacon score of 750). But we hold been married for 7 years and I enjoy rubbed off on her.
It will affect you you chould enjoy him try to get this tooken consideration of before my husband is on child support for 3 of his kids and when we get married they started garnishing my checks to pay for it raison d`¨ºtre it's we now when your married they don't make clear to you the stuff that you need to know similar to there fruitless credit. also my god mother had to shift threw the samething when they got a devorice she be stuck with thoroughly bad credit after her husband.Hope this help you. LATER
It will only effect you if you apply for shared credit or if you put him on one of your credit cards as a authorized user. Either way it would merely effect you if the payments were not made as agreed.
It won't really do anything until you apply for something in somebody`s company. Even then if everything is remunerated on time his will progress up and yours stays the same. But..
The time will come to apply collectively for things you need to contained by life close to homeowners insurance, car insurance, buying a coup¨¦, refinancing or buying a house etc. Now if his score is low you won't bring back the best rates or be able to steal full advantage those offered to married couples. A finacially responsible couple requests to worry a bit around these things.
A shortcut would to open some sort of credit card together. If his is that unpromising the APR will be high and the issue low but that's fine. It will take some time for his to come up but you hold time as it "til death do you part" right?
If he have to get a secured card that will work as ably. But the fastest way to fix adjectives of this is for him to get his credit report and start paying bad anything if he owes. Skip the new vehicle, the new fishing rod, anything.. just pay packet things off. That money spent will come pay for in thousands and thousands of abiding later on.
No effect. You are other going to retain the same credit ranking.
The only course it could go down is if you apply for cards toghther and he screw them up and hurts your rating
Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however within exists a solution.
I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

Have you used Freedom Debt Relief?
Question:
For debt consolidation.
Answer:
Are you looking to pay every penny put money on and get a break on interest rates or more of a consolidation?
If looking for a narrowing of interest, make sure they are registered next to the NFCC (National Foundation of Credit Counseling), BBB, and licensed to provide debt management surrounded by your state. This agency should set you up on a plan so you can continue to create your basic living expenses and enjoy payments sent to your creditors to have you remunerated off - max of 5 years.
If you are looking for debt settlement, these type of companies are scam. I am a certified financial counselor and provide counseling and education to those who wallet BK. They used these type of companies in an attempt to work it out, but made it worse. If your desire is to settle on a debt, ring the creditor directly to settle. Big drawback on debt settlement is the amount that is forgiven is most plausible considered taxable income.
Unfortunately companies that seem too perfect to be true say they will cart over your bills, you cannot call your creditors, and they continue until you "bank" up enough money surrounded by your account to payment one person past its sell-by date and then you enjoy 4 other creditors not getting a penny who then start to proceed official action against you.
I will you the best!

Who is responsible for debts for someone who have passed away?
Question:
Answer:
Anything they owned must be used to pay debts in the past anyone can inherit. If there are not plenty assets to cover the debts, the creditors are out of luck.
Usually the life insurance company, resembling for instance if a house mortgage or business loan tken by the guy, is covered by life insurance surrounded by the event the insured croaks. Otherwise I guess its the Keeper of Accounts at the Heavenly Home. Definitely not the dead guys subsequent of kins.
I believe that debtees can sue the estate for outstanding monies. You would need to speak to an estate attorney to find all of this out.
Unless it is a integrated debt, the estate would be responsible for debts. If there is no estate, the debt dies beside the person. But check beside a lawyer to be sure surrounded by your state.
The Person who died is responsible for the debts he incurred in energy.
It is up to the creditors to make a claim on the estate, and if valid, they will be salaried according to priority on the claim.
A lawyer will be best to ask in the region of details
As long as no one else's designation is on anything then not a soul is responsible as of now. However creditors can and will try to attack the decease's estate, unless it is protected. However, I'm not sure but I have an idea that a friend who deals beside annuities was recounting me that they're trying to pass a regulation that'll make the children responsible. But I could be mistaken.
Thought I have discouraging credit, but adjectives my reports are blank?
Question:
I've been contained by default evasion on several loans (some student loans) for a long time. Naturally I have assumed horrific credit, and have other been denied for credit. I go recently to try to gain stuff in charge, but when I got my reports, they adjectives reported NO credit. Should I expect that these loans have be discharged? Or is there another means of access to track down 'lost' credit. I don't want to get surprised by it popping rear up at me while I'm trying to 're-establish' my credit. Any clues?
Answer:
This condition is known as human being a "ghost". What has happen is that it has be so long since there have been any hobby on your cbr's they have adjectives just fall off especially if it have been longer than 7 years. This have its advantages and its disadvantages. The advantage is that you own a clean slate to start from and you can get going to build your credit properly this time.
Here are the disadvantages:
It will be assumed that you have be in prison for an extended term of time by some lenders. Truth. I was working next to a client who asked me to accompany him to a saloon dealership to help him trademark the deal. His report come up as a "ghost" and the car dealership told him that none of their lenders would loan him the money because of his situation. He asked what situation they be talking just about and they replied, "Well, you have obvioiusly be in prison for at lowest seven years or there would be some flurry on your credit report." Not kidding folks. And this man have never committed a crime in his enthusiasm.
It will also mean that you will discharge much higher interest rates on money you borrow until you own established at least three years of positive credit information.
There is also a possibility that creditors from your bygone will be waiting for your credit report to be activated again. When I be working as a bill collector (before I saw the error of my evil ways) we would put what our company called a Hawk Alert on a debtors SSN. If at hand was any diversion on that number, we would be notified straight and use that information to track down the db and make their lives miserable. Usually it be only for the colossal money accounts as the small money ones weren't worth the effort.
If you hold any questions in connection with credit issues, you may email me at nebula7693@yahoo.com
After 7 yrs. they should automatically disappear from your report (actually 7 yrs from last buzz on the account). So they may have come off your report if its be on there for over 7 yrs.
student loans will never budge away, your best bet is to have a trimerge run. which is a cbr with adjectives 3 reporting agencys. Things do fall sour your credit report BUT it doesn't stop collections, if you get a call upon or something from a Collection agency, and you pay even a dollar, it will be re-reported to your credit report. Good luck!
haha i dont know you make clear to me
You say it have been a long time. How long? They drop bad after seven years. Sometimes student loans just stop reporting. If you don't own any active credit, your score will disappear after enough time. I process mortgages and see peolpe near no scores or solitary one or two scores adjectives the time. It is due to insufficient credit history. You have to start adjectives over building credit from scratch.
Also, check your reports and trade name sure the correct social security number is typed surrounded by. If one number is off, it can provide you incorrect results or even someone elses credit report. This happens adjectives of the time too.
Problems next to Target and my credit card after 12 years, anyone know who to verbalize to besides customer service?
Question:
Had a target credit card for 12 years, been appropriate with payments-last year my granddaughter passed away hours after one born had to use funds to buy a casket, furneral home & cemertary expenses I be 2- 1/2 months behind on payments but target worked near me. This year due to my daughter getting sick I'm now a single grandmother raise 2 boys 10 & 12. They came to live near me and had solitary the clothes on their backs. This put me aft on my payments with target, I be in the process of refinancing my home ,spoke beside targets customer service explained my situation told them when funds would be available, expressed my concerns roughly speaking not wanting this to effect my card, I did not want my card to be cancelled after 12 years. Was told I was a valued customer, not to verbs everything would be okay. Received the funds ran to target made the payoff I promised, found out 10 days earlier they cancelled my card short telling me. Now I am told that I am a suitable customer and should reapply.
Answer:
You shouldn't have to reapply. Ask if they can reopen your depiction. They did on mine, 1 year after I closed it.
Okay, I started out with a Target card. It be in nonspecific a 'Target' card...meaning it could with the sole purpose be used to buy something at a Target store and they wouldn't let me tuning it over to an actual Visa. So I cut that bad boy up...cancelled it and I never bothered near them anymore. They're just a really fruitless company when it comes to real customer service.
American Express seem to be the top-notch credit card provider that I've encountered; and not of late because of their name or popularity. I've have a card of theirs for like 9 months. Credit strip started at like $2,000. Then they allowed it to be bumped up to $3,800. Then they allowed it to be bumped up to $5,000. All surrounded by that 9 month period.
Chase and Bank Of America are also really right companies to get credit cards through, but Chase is *very* skimpy on their credit splash increases...even for people near excellent credit and excellent payment histories near all accounts.
Of course...if you be to consider changing to a different card, you'd of course want to pay that Target card down and take that out of the way. The finishing thing you would requirement is another credit card with another big bill for something else that come up. But I certainly would go against Target's card voluntary (if they haven't done so already...and if they have, use their stupidity against them). Which would suggest...if you (or they) re-open the account, reimburse it down, of course. But brand name them give you a devout credit line increase, which help your credit score relatively a bit. People think it's bleak to have a huge credit column on credit cards...but if we do watch how we spend it (and I do indeed take to mean your emergency situations that you had to use it for)...next it's not a bad entry. I don't see that company (Target) really going anywhere, though...with the poor service they hold, they might go out of business not too copious years down the road.
How do I hang on to my credit chalk up from going down when paying past its sell-by date a charged rotten credit card.?
Question:
I no longer have a card for this side. This debt has changed hand many times due to companies merging and/or going out of business. I thought paying this rotten would be a good item but i have hear it will make it worse unless i bring a pay for delete, but even thought i own researched this i can't figure out if it is court to ask for a pfd.
Answer:
If your credit card is paid contained by full, then you can write a missive to the debt reporting compay with a copy of the salaried in full statement for that narrative.
I'd also recommend you as for a copy of the report when you send the message. If you have EVER be denied credit, you have the right to a copy of your credit report showing why you be denied.
It doesn't hurt your credit to have items compensated in full. It also doesn't hurt your credit to own debtors who are paid contained by full removed from your report. What hurts is to have multiple credit cards enlarge and "avaiable credit lines" beyond what your finances recommend. If you have any nothing balance credit cards, you should write to them and ask them to close those accounts. They will still show up on your credit report, but they will show as closed, which vehicle you can't charge on them.
Best of luck to you. Paying off credit is a great purpose and important article to do!
Go to "Yourcreditattorney.com" Credit repair Lawyers, they'll work a miracle for you and your credit.
Not sure about the pfd, but they will report it as cynical for seven years after your last contact near them.
Just watched a Dateline show the other darkness about Credit Cards, a regulator of the Credit Card CO. actually said "It in reality hurts the consumer more with their credit win if they ask us to close the account." She said when you grasp the CC paid bad its better to just cut up the card into tiny pieces because in reality closing an account LOWERS your credit win.
PAY FOR DELETION IS LEGAL.
Get to writing your letter and convey it certified return receipt requested.
This is strictly for the heavyweights -- not the lightheaded of heart!
credit attorney and fast... or it will ding your credit.. crazy isnt it.
I am lower than a money plan to resolve my credit history / debts?
Question:
I have a ccj, how can I narrate who gave me the ccj ?
Answer:
You can contact equifax or experian. They are the credit agencies that most primary lenders use when looking at a persons credit.
www.equifax.co.uk
www.experian.co.uk
For a couple of pounds they will transport you a full report of your credit and it will detail who took out the CCJ on you.
Hope this helps.
you can write to a credit mention agency and for a couple of quid they should be able to tender you a report which will detail your history, including CCJ's.
One of your previous lenders can tell you who to write to, or do a rummage through on the net.
What?

Teenager Credit/Debit/ATM?
Question:
I have a qeustion. I'm 16 years feeble and I am about to start a partime situation and I on top of that I own a good little bit of money ( 200-300) from my brithday and christmas and babysiting the qestion I hold is Is there some munificent of Credit card, Debit Card or something like that I coudl catch without a parent signature? No I dont want to charge anything and use credit adjectives I want is to be able to put my money ona card for easier acess but I dont want to grasp a Visa Gift Card because you can't get the money stale it once you put it on it and that presents a promblem when you go places that don't adopt cards. ex: fairs, institution lunch, and other places.. So I really would liek something thats the same as a Visa Gcard but so I could still clutch my money in and out of it, but I can't catch anyone to sign for me because my mom at the moment doesn't want to sign for credit or debit cards and such.. Would paypal be the same? or do u enjoy to be 18? I'm confussed and I start my job subsequent week help!
Answer:
Hmmm, You really would hold to go into a guard & ask about what types of accts. they offered. I imagine that you have to be 18 or hold someone sign with you...but it may be possible to tender them $$ to put into a savings acct. for you & they may confer you a debit card for that acct. I don't know if any bank does that but I do know that bank are really trying hard to bring back customers right now. If they do it, they would hold to put a restriction on it that they would not pay any money out that you didn't already own deposited into that acct.
I doesn't hurt to ask. Good luck. I admire the reality that you are trying to do something like this. I'm sure they will be impressed too. Ask them if they own any ideas for you if they read aloud no to your request.
Look into the VISA BUXX CARD.
I'm not positive if you can open a checking sketch without your parents signature. If you can, I'm sure they can issue a debit card. I agree next to the previous answer that advised going to a edge and asking.
I just open a student checking account at Bank of America for my 16 year old-fashioned. No cosigner required but you must go into a branch to get underway it. It includes a Visa check card and checks.
Good luck
Also check out http://www.daveramsey.com/ for some practical advise on dos and don'ts.
Try the Visa Buxx card... your mom doesn't hold to sign for a credit or debit card, or even have a Visa card of her own. It is necessarily a prepaid Visa card, but your mom would need to be the one to deposit funds to the portrayal. You could give her your money and ask her to do that for you. Typically, you do obligation to be 18 to open a checking explanation with a Visa debit card because until you are 18 you cannot officially be held liable for any financial transactions you make.
If you want to own some cash, expand a savings side as well. Put some of your money on the Visa Buxx card, and hold on to some in your nest egg account. That instrument, when you need currency, you only call for to go to the edge. It's a good model to have a reserves account anyway.
I hold placed this in the source box. There is a sumptuousness of information there and a great free debt regulation software program. I bookmarked the site as I return to it often for the warning it offers. I hope this help you.
I'd recommend opening a checking story (depending on the bank, a parent may or may not be required to cosign) and getting a Visa/Mastercard check card (basically a debit card, but it can be used as a credit card so you don't receive hit with adjectives the fees that come with a debit card).
1st Credit Card..HELP!?
Question:
Okay, I have never have a credit card. (I'm 24 and have an income of around 38k) I don't mainly need one... but would close to to get one for emergency and to build my credit more. (I have pious credit as is).
What do I need to look for contained by a credit card? What is a good interest rate? What is the difference between APR and interest rate? Is at hand a type of credit card you prefer? (capital one, american express, etc)
Answer:
Low FIXED apr, if you get a adjustable rate it will go up. If you look around you can achieve one around 6-8 percent. Don't ever get one difficult than 9. APR is the interest rate.
capital one and american express are both highly good. Though the american express APR is usually high. I have both.
Look for no annual payment, a low interest rate (APR is annual percentage rate)...below 14% is good great if you can find a lower one. American express is worthy...but not accepted everywhere believe it or not. Visa is your best bet. Check beside your bankthey almost always own their own Visa or MasterCard. To build credit use it and pay it stale right away. Never charge more than you can afford to pay bad that month or with contained by two months. I wish someone would own told me that when I got my first credit cardBe carefull and be smart next to your credit!
The best one is the NOTTA credit card. You do NOT need a credit card to build more credit. If you entail one for emergencies, bring a debit card on your checking account.
If you want to build credit, have a word to your banker/financial adviser.
Do not reply to Internet offer that come to you as spam mail. As long as you don't fetch a balance, it doesn't concern what the interest rate is. Get one with a giant interest rate which pays a premium such as frequent flyer miles or cash posterior or free gasoline. Just make sure your be a foil for is paid every month. After a year or two of obedient standing, you will be inundated with better offer.
Having a card is a good notion. Traveling is a lot easier as booking airfare, rooms, rental cars, etc...can border on impossible without one. Blelow is a relation to a great source for credit cards. In fact, for everyone you refer, that get approved, the company will send you $10.00. These cards are from Chase, Discover, and American Express as powerfully as other well agreed companies.
Personally, I do not American Express. They have an annual charge of $75 or something like that and it's rediculous when discover and Mastercard/Visa own no fees.
A good rate for well brought-up credit would be less than 10%. A strange card from the source below will most likely tender you 0% on purchases for 12 months.
As for Interest rate vs. APR...basically if you transport a balance, you start paying interest on the previous month's interest making the lattice effect the Annual Percentage Rate, which always a short time higher than the interest rate. For paucity of a better example, think of a funds account that offer 2.97 Interest with an APR of 3%. Since you earn interest on the previous months deposited interest, you in fact end up beside slightly more interest earnings than if you a short time ago got a flat 2.97%
Hope that make sense.
Stay away from them altogether. You're lucky to have gotten to age 24 minus getting one. You can use a debit card for almost anything you would need.
For emergency, save 3-6 months of expenses and put into a funds or money market narrative. Then you still don't need a credit card.
For FIRST Credit Card
Here the card choice depends on your test of the bank whose credit card you want to use or your most preferred promotional donate, without giving a thought to the brand on the card. Other than that, in that is no difference between the two.
For SECOND Card
In this case, it make sense to go for the competing brand of your first card and to opt for a different issuing mound. The logic is that when you have two different cards, both the bank will vie for your business (if your credit journal is good). You will be given deals for 0% match transfers, increased credit limits, and other benefits, since both the bank want you to use their card more. Also if you go to a merchant who accept only one brand of card, you can use that specific brand to prevent self turned away.
