I own no credit?
Question:
i have no credit, and wondering how i can earn some. i've applied for credit cards in the past but am always decline because of insufficient credit. i dont work because i'm a full time mother but my husband works full time. how does america expect you to earn credit when the banks wont contribute you a credit card because you have no credit? so how do i up my credit gain from absolutely zilch to atleast something??
Answer:
A good means of access to start is with a secured credit card. It's a card,(master/visa) That you fund up by sending them a few hundred bucks. That will be your spending limit. Once you own that, use it a couple of times for something small like gas or smokes and pay envelope it off. Now you've established credit and can apply for an AMEX card. Don't miss a clearing with these guys cuz they're legitimate bastards. After a couple of months of this you should be able to acquire any card you want.
Get a credit card that has a credit restriction backed by
your funds or checking account pro. That way you
can start building your credit history.
Go to a jewelry store and start up an "in house" credit dash for a small amount. Make sure they report to the credit bureaus each month. Work your method up to open larger accounts elsewhere base on your credit history with the jeweler.
The concept to get your mark raised hasty would b ideally 75% paid stale on the open credit smudge. However shoot for 50% should do the trick.

Is WaMuCreditCard.com a scam?
Question:
https://www.getmastercardnow.com/bap/nav...
I got a message and it stated that I'm invited to get color wamu credit card. Is it a scam?
Answer:
It doesn't appear like it is. I get the same propose for an ESPN card, and I went online and bursting it out.
Although if they actually state something to the effect of wamucreditcard.com consequently probably, since that web address doesn't exist, the correct one would be wamucards.com.
You can other call Washington Mutual and find out, I know that they do hold other companies that help them sign empire up for their credit cards, it could be one of those.
No its not a scam. I have one. It is washington mutual.
No but it is up to you whether you want to transport them up on their offer (invitation) do you want/need a credit card?
Washington Mutual is a authentic company and they do offer credit cards. Did the propose come with the page of disclosures? If it looks civil servant, it probably is, and they have probably already checked your credit, if it say 'pre-approved.' The potential problem is, that although the offer may influence something like 9.99% APR and 0% until 2008 or some such, once you contact them you might qualify for 19.99% interest or something...so you really enjoy to take those credit card offer with a pellet of salt and do research. I recommend http://bankrate.com/ and click on the tab i.e. for Credit Cards. It will help you shop around for the right card for you. I hold found them to be very unprejudiced and the site is fantastic.
As far as I'm concerned, the entire credit card industry is a scam. That said, the card you mention seems to be as lawful as any.

IVA's are they the answer to getting out of serious debt?
Question:
I've got us into serious debt and are letting Debt Free Direct back us sort this out, but they keep varying their minds as to whether an IVA is suitable for us or a remortgage. We are both 50 and in full time employment
Answer:
The money man on gmtv be talking in the region of this the other day and axiom its not a good theory.
If you go to www.gmtv.com I reflect he has moved out some advice on the website.
Hope this help.
Well debt free direct are going to make a charge by some means.
I would advise you to the citizens direction bureau. They are free and independent+ can set up IVAs without some sort of charge.
They will point out other solutions to your debt. Any commercial company will singular tell you option that bring them a fee or commission!
the reality that debt free direct keep shifting their minds indicates that they are not that sure of what to do. Dump them go to the CAB.
Try contacting the consumer credit counselling service (www.cccs.co.uk) or Pay Plan (www.payplan.co.uk). They donate free services including debt management, where on earth all the money go to the creditors.
Try to avoid fee paying services. the more that go to your creditors the faster the debt is paid.
Try the Consumer Credit Counselling Service - they own good warning on their website and you can speak to an adviser for further backing.
I think surrounded by some cases with IVAs you can ruin up blacklisted anyway. Try the CAB for advice or Martin Lewis the money abiding expert.
have you conversation to citizens Advice Bureau, they can contact all your creditors and give support to you make small affordable payments. or you you could do this yourself, draw up a chronicle of your creditors, then do a expenditure catalogue and offers of payments after end to adjectives your creditors. but I'd say progress to Citizen's Advice First. they helped me. lug all your serious newspaper work with you. fitting luck.
Be careful of re-mortgaging for repaying debts. Only a few groups can come after your home if you owe them money - the governing body, American Express (!) and any companies who have loaned you a substantial sum specifically secured against your property (like your exiting mortgage provider).
Remember with an IVA you are doing two things - stopping interest and investigational charges, THEN trying to agree a reasonable repayment.
I'd ask DFD if they capture a commission for arranging/recommending a re-mortgage. I would guess yes.
Depending on how much you owe and who you owe, an IVA can take two forms - any a private agreement with one or two creditors or a formal agreement next to all creditors who agree to discuss an IVA near you.
First off, you call for to be sure how much you can afford to pay - if its lb100 per month, consequently that's what you offer. You'll own to provide information on your income and outgoings (easy enough to do when you sit down, pen within hand, and dance through an average month) - this info will show them that you are honest about what you can afford to pay packet. Unless they have an agreement secured upon your home, they are intensely likely to do one of two things : adopt your payment plan or adopt a cash contribution for a discounted amount.
All of this can be done yourself - no mystique, no magic. Just a message requesting an opportunity to agree a VOLUNTARY REPAYMENT PLAN in return for a freeze on interest and charges. Then, you'll agree the plan and, if you stick to it, things will look up for you.
By taking out a second mortgage, you may pay cheque off existing creditors but be disappeared with bright monthly payments that don't give you any breathing space. Talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau or ring the National Debt Advice Helpline for free on 0808 808 4000.
Don't rush into a re-mortgage, don't treat all debts as equal and don't quality like you can't govern your own affairs. You can.
Try looking for some expert advice online at a site faithful to debt information - the one below always seem like a dutiful source of info. Good luck with however things turn out!
I am sorry to hear that you are contained by difficulty with debt problems. Trying to find an answer here is fraught next to danger. There are some ethnic group here who I am sure are well aim but obviously don't know what they are conversation about.
What you requirement is professional advice the press is from what source. The Citizens Advice Bureau will offer you free guidance but cannot arrange an IVA for you. The only personality able to set up an IVA for you is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner, close to Debt Free Direct.
Debt Free Direct are not the only Insolvency Practitioner operating within this field they are however the biggest. If you look into G00GLE under the residence "IVA" there are millions of IVA providers tabled.
In my experience there is one that I could recommend. They are call myIVA-Adviser and can be found at this link
http://www.myiva-adviser.com
They own a very usefull articles page including articles explaining issues around IVAs or remortgages. Read them here:

In my assessment his experience has particularly affected his companies attitude to IVAs and this is reflect in their website.

Answer:
First of adjectives they are really serious, and you shouldn't consider one lightly.
They are one step away from liquidation.
Im with a company call Churchwood Financial. I pay lb150 a month and of that around lb125 go towards my debts.
That is the only charge they get.
DO NOT PAY MONEY FOR AN IVA.
All these people do is work out your weekly budget. How much you can afford to discharge the creditors. Then divide it up percentage wise amongst respectively of them depending on the percentage of the total debt you owe to each of them. They after write to each of your creditors beside an offer. They may also ask them to freeze the interest if what you can afford to settle them is less than the interest that they are charging.
THE CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU OR CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELLING SERVICE (CCCS) WILL DO THIS FOR FREE.

Overdraft fees ! please oblige?
Question:
i am willing to chitchat to a bank associate in the order of my overdraft fees, i only go over 2 dollars and they charged me 54.00 which is unfair, because i they only just sent me a letter when the overdraft happend a while ago..since today is sunday, the dune is not opened, but im not sure if the edge if opened tomorrow since it is presidents daytime, will the bank verbs to charge me money and will they let me past its sell-by date the hook ? i had this edge account since november, and i consider this is really unfair because i can't deposit the money contained by tomorrow, and yet they verbs to charge me money
Answer:
It doesn't matter how masses does you go short making the deposit. You're not getting charged by the day. You do however go and get charged for each check that someone submits or respectively transaction that goes through such as a check or debit card. If your dune has a atm domestic device outside it may accept a deposit nearby if you have a card that access's it. Mine does and I access it near my debit card. It works great. If you are able, you may want to find overdraft protection for the future.
Well unfortunantly if you do not read the fine print when you initiate your bank information, it tends to shock us when something happen that is spontaneous.
Dont worry, you can collaborate to them and they will waive the fee. Just manufacture sure it does not happen again.
Some bank charge by the day, some only just charge fees out the rear... Call your edge on Tuesday (Monday is a national holiday and all bank and post offices will be closed) or walk in and see if you can carry them to let you past its sell-by date the hook once, but they may not... they generally will if it's underneath $1 but not always. Good luck... and check into have overdraft protection... even if it's just $10 contained by your savings, that's usually satisfactory if you just shift a wee bit over and don't catch it.
What you ring unfair is guard rules, to which you're subject once you open a ridge account. The reality that you didn't bother to pay attention to the vocabulary of your account doesn't construct it unfair. Your dune will only verbs to charge you and eventually close your account if you don't deposit the money Tuesday if they don't plain for President's day.
Talk to a investment banker about overdraft protection, they can do that within case you travel over a certain amount from what you hold in your story. And try to get better at not spending more money than you enjoy.
Since there is nil you can do about it until Tuesday try not to verbs about it too much. It's other been my experience that frequent times if you bs enough near the bank associate they will waive the overdraft tax. The bank will simply continue to charge you money if more charges come contained by to your account and you own no money to back them up.
U can try to communicate to the bank to see whether they can waive the levy or not.
But basically, unless u hold a overdraft protection, they have the right to charge you an overdraft charge for every overdraft transaction (and it doesnt matter how much you go over). Also, i dont think you can convey them that they sent you a letter when the overdraft happned a while ago since you are responsible to know how much money you enjoy in your own statement.
Anyway, the best thing you can do in a minute is try to negotiate with the ridge and dont withdraw any more money from ur justification until u deposit money into your account. Good Luck
The ridge only charges you on dusiness days. They will not charge you today (Sunday) or Monday since the bank are closed for President's Day.
They should waive your fee as a one time courtesy
Why dont buy here pay packet here saloon lots run a credit check on u or report u to the credit bureau?
Question:
Answer:
They make their money on populace who take a long time and/or come to nothing to pay. They know that anyone who does business near them has doomed to failure credit. But if you are willing to reward $10,000 for a $2,000 car, they will rob your money. If you fail to settle up, they take support the car, and flog it to some one else. Either way, they win.
Because these places mostly charge currency. And why you gonna check someone's credit it you are already paid within full, up front, what you waiting for their $20 bills to clear?

yes it is as if u get a hacker surrounded by youre computer they can steal all youre information and use it on strip. plus all the information stays contained by youre modem so if u get a different modem and throw the ancient one away some one can still get youre information as its still within there
Make sure it's a "Secured" site and a trust worthy company you are dealing near.

I enjoy never hear from a Collection Agency on the subject of a Debt on my Credit Report...Can I still own them...?
Question:
Validate this debt, because I have proof that I should not be responsible. This is what it looks approaching on my credit report:
CONSERVE

Balance Date: 10/2005
Balance Owned: $11,642
Last Payment Date: n/a
Status Date: 10/2005
Status: D - Unpaid
Comments: N/A
Answer:
I think you hold the right idea. However, purely to clarify...Collection agencies "validate" and Original Collectors "verify".
If you have proof that you should not be responsible for this alleged debt later definitely ask for validation from this collector. In the meantime, do not nickname marymount as you will not have proof of statement...transport a certified mailed notification to marymount regarding the status of the commentary. With the original collector you may want to submit copies of your proof.
However, next to the collection agency, do not submit any of your proof to them. You cannot trust that information will "jump" from one document to another. Under the law the burden of proof is on them.
Send the request for validation by certified correspondence return receipt requested. If they do not return proof to you within 30 days from receipt afterwards send a second round. This time when you bring back the green card back, urgently initiate a dispute with the credit reporting agency on the grounds that the collection agency have failed to demonstrate this debt and therefore within is no debt.
The credit reporting agency cannot verify a debt that cannot be validated. Send copies of your validation parcels and certified mail receipts beside your dispute as evidence.
IF the collection agency does happen to verify the debt short validating it to you they will enjoy broken the law and you are entitled to pursue damages beneath the FDCPA/FCRA laws.
Just contest it. There's info on how to do that on the credit report.
You requirement to contact Marymount Manhattan College.
Yes, you always enjoy the right to dispute what is on your credit report, because a delinquint debt will affect your credit rating and credit score whether or not it have entered collections. Chances are that it never will enter collections if the lender know that the money isn't owed to them, they just never corrected the information near the credit bureaus.
Send the credit bureau the proof that you have, they will investigate and clear that item from your credit report in sixty days if it turns out to be right. Ask for a dispute resolution form and fill it within with the info you enjoy.
you need to progress to free credit report.com and dispute this item and give them the motivation. and write the credit reporting agency and keep disputing it.
Yes, write to Marymount.
In the meantime, request a copy of your credit report from one of the three through agencies. If the Marymount debt is listed on your credit report, dispatch a copy of your Marymount letter to respectively of the agencies so they will have your denial of responsibility included within your credit report. The credit agencies are required to contact Marymount for an explanation, which will also be included in your credit report.
Note that you are entitled to a free annual report from respectively of the three agencies. Since they basically adjectives have indistinguishable information, by requesting a free report every four months, alternating between agencies, you can easily stay lying on your credit status at no expense to you. This can all be done online.
Yes regardless to whether or not they transport you a bill it is reported to the agency and 9 x out of 10 it is a collection accont. Also know this find out when it was open, try to do as much research on your own send a disputed reminder to the co before the credit agency and ask for an itemized bill, by directive the original creditors must contact you within regarding the matter above. Find out if it is more than 7 years old they should not be reporting it anyway.
YES!! In certainty, you should go to them directly. The collection agency doesn't know any of the details.
