Will I lose my credit chalk up when I carry married and adjust my baptize?

Question:

Answer:
No your credit is SS# based. A couple of the other answers said that your credit will be combined beside your husbands. That is incorrect. Your credit and scores will stay like and so will his. If he has bleak credit and you add yourself onto his refusal accounts, then that would effect your rating or if you spread out new accounts as one and you don't make payments, after of course that will effect your credit... Just because you marry someone next to bad credit, doesn't be determined that you get their impossible credit, so don't be worried about that.
nope it is adjectives based on your SS#
no,your ss # stays like
no as you will be continually asked for your maiden name for quotation checks
no. your credit score is tied to your social protection number
you dont lose your credit score but you gain anything credit history they have adjectives of it good and bleak
No. Your credit score is tracked by SS#. Hopefully, your husband have a good win because they will be combined.
Not at all! It's your s.s.# that they use.
yes
IT wont stay one and the same because as for as they( the rating agencies) are cocerned you are a NEW person.
When you marry, you retain matching credit score because you are required to provide your social deposit number and it does not wash out because of mark change. Of course it will be combined beside that of your spouse.
no
no sorry this will always be beside you.
Only if you marry some deadbeat who ruins it for you!

Which is the best credit card for a student?

Question:
what do I need to look for from credit card companies? what do I call for to stay away from (ex: high interest rates). any direction is welcome

Answer:
their parents credit cards
my counsel is that you stay away from credit cards altogether while a studentyou will be way too tempt to buy, buy, buy and no matter how responsible anyone think they are at that agechances are you will fall into the trap
I WOULDN'T SUGGEST GETTING ONE EITHER BUT MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN BEST WITH CAPITAL ONE VISA
Your best credit card is none. If you're set on one, I would procure a secure credit card where on earth your spending limit is the lolly you put into a special account. Example: you put $200 surrounded by the account, your credit inhibit is $200. You can still build credit, but can't go over your cut-off date. Most companies offer these; try your edge.
A student card. Bank of america offers a student card near a low limit. The interest rates are illustrious but would definitely backing you to establish credit and if you are a student they will lend to you. Keep the card for at least 3 years, build your payments on time and hopefully within full and you'll have excellent credit when you graduate.
Why credit card companies issue credit cards to college students amazes me. Do not fall over into this trap. If you are unable to come across the payments your credit will be tainted for years to come. Be smarter than they are. Good luck
I consider that if you can get away minus a credit card as a student, you will be best served.

Just try to live on your means (your returns or savings, etc.) while surrounded by school. After you bring a real duty and have complex earning potential you will be better competent to face the payments.

It is too mouth-watering for students to overspend on credit and then graduate from college beside large debt.

Employers look at your credit at present and if you look like someone short good verdict, they may hire someone who is financially sound.

Be extra punctilious in using credit (not with the sole purpose as a student, but as an adult of any age).

I know -- I am a martyr of my own impulses and presently an financial sunk for many years to comeperhaps forever.
Seriously, pay packet cash for what you want and stay away from credit cards. It is to easy to spend money when you don't hold it and put it on a card. If you get one card every company within the world will be sending you one. Credit card companies love college students. They know a lot of them will purely call Daddy if they can't retribution, but a lot of students can't do that. I enjoy seen students facing years of credit card debt from their college years. This is above and beyond their student loans. Be thorough. I know this did not answer your question but it is exceptionally sound suggestion.
Many banks and companies which proposition student credit cards require the student to have a co-signer as their form of collateral or insurance. The co-signer must sign stale on the credit card. If for whatever origin the student cannot make his or her payments; it would after fall on the co-signer to produce the payments. Normally, a guardian or parent is the co-signer. They give the credit card companies piece of mind, that even if the student does not follow through beside paying for debt, the co-signer will.

Maybe you can try below website to get the information. It's around how to choose the best credit card articles for your second opinion
The single good approach to use credit cards is to pay stale your balance every month. Then you can freshly reap the rewards of cards. Some of the best rewards cards for students are the Citi mtvU card and the Citi Driver's Edge card. Chase and Discover also have clothed rewards cards for students.

To easily numeral out which of those cards will pay you the most rewards for your spending profile, check out the rewards calculator at http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/?card_ty... .

Does anyone own any unadulterated solution for eliminate debt short using any of those ...?

Question:
I do not want to file consolidate my debt. I want it gone! I know that I get myself into this. Some things just can't be help. NO bankruptcy...consumer counseling or other rip bad ideas. Thank you for your support and insight.

Answer:
First, determine how much you can afford to pay towards your debt respectively month. Also, are there any "extras" you can cut out of your budget, even for a few months - i.e. a cheaper cell phone or cable collection, eat out smaller amount, etc. Pay the minimum on all of your accounts except one. On that one details pay the minimum plus doesn`t matter what extra your budget allows. Each month put all of your "extra" debt settlement to that one account - this will allow you to payment down one account more in a flash. When that account is closed, pick another report to receive the "extra" payment. I have a problem with debt shortly after graduate from college. My debt was a mixture of student loans and credit cards and I have many credit card accounts. I started paying down the description with the smallest stability. Being able to mute the number of accounts helped me survive my debt, and it also helped my stress plane to be able to completely close out an vindication.

You may also want to contact your creditors to find out if the have any "transfer of funds programs" that might help moderate interest rates or other fees.

Whatever you decide to do, polite luck!
Here's what a consumer counselor will do. They will sit you down, create a budget looking at all the money you enjoy coming in and adjectives your bills. They will help stamp out excess spendings such as cable bills, daily coffees at starbucks, etc. Then they will repute bills. Then you pay your bills in good time. Eventually your credit will improve.
AW is right. The steps are intricate but simple, and a legit credit counselor can be a big help. The steps:

1. No more credit.

2. Make arrangements to remuneration everything off. This is where on earth a legitimate credit counselor llike CCCS comes surrounded by. They charge a tiny bit, like $25.00/one time plus a dollar a month, but they will not try to trade you a loan, and the creditors will believe them when maybe they won't trust you.

3. Learn to live beside less stuff so it doesn't appear again.

Good luck!
MicroSoft Office has a MicrosoftMoney program that enable one to track checking, as well as, designing a pay-off plan to assistance in the process of eliminate debt. The program is based upon what is certain as the 'snowball system'. The basic hypothesis is to pay-off small debts first...allowing interest to accrue on the others until it is paid. One still pays the minimum on the others during this time. Then once the small debt is repaid, the money that be allocated towards it is applied to the next debt on the detail in rider to whatever minimum be previously being compensated. Once that is compensated...on to the next one...allowing the money to be precise spent toward payments to grow as one debtor is paid and another one is slated for pay-off. The power to this system is once established, one may simply allocate a specific amount toward short-term or long term debt and the rest is to be spent on regular expenses such as food, utilities, etc... It does not allow much room for increased living standards until the repayments are complete; however, consequently the money that was formerly spent toward debt may be invested surrounded by stocks, bonds, or placed into a savings reason. There is no sudden change surrounded by living standards..it is slow, progressive, and effective.

The snowball technique for eliminate debt is attributed to Dave Ramsey. He is a financial specialist that used the term vertebrae in 1994 or so. His website links are below:

Good luck contained by 2007!
Pay one credit card off at a time and don't spawn the minimum payment. Pay as much as you can because the interest so much. We newly had a financial class at our church and the three things we be taught 1. if something is lower than $300.00 , go home, pray going on for it for 3 days and see if you just can't live lacking it.2. If it is $300- 1000, give it a week in the past buying it, 3. If it over $1000, give it a month. If you can put stale making purchases except for necessities and paying more on the bills you already had, you can acquire them paid stale in almost 5 years. That sounds like a long time, but when you look at the interest you are paying on credit cards and put together the minimum payments, it is going t take you 20 yrs to earnings them off. The average kinfolk owes about $8,000 on credit card. It is so thorny to get out of debt, but you hold to create a financial plan and have an writ to it. I hope this helps.
You've made the first step-realising Your spending is a problem and want to do something give or take a few it before it get too late.
Work out what You owe, amount out what You have coming surrounded by,subtract what You need to preserve You clothed, fed, housed, and important bills paid(light, heat),and start paying off the debt near the highest interest accounts top priority..stop using credit cards, they're DEBT cards.if You enjoy them, don't pay them bad by the minimum amount-put a fixed amount towards them set above minimum...economise..see what subscription services You can do without-satellite,cable,etc..S... not being used around the house-try selling it on Ebay, garage sale, etc. Good Luck..
A lot of fantastic ideas here surrounded by the answers you got. Some are correct and some are not. You need to research online debt guidance sites and learn what is on propose. Then you can formulate your own debt management plan. Any problems beside that then in recent times send an email.
Dave Ramsey... check out his book the Total Money Makeover. He have a plan for how you can eliminate your debt... So far it's working for me.

His website provides a preview of his Baby Steps program that I'm working through.

Question more or less GARNISHMENT of wages?

Question:
my boyfriend grosses $640 per week. He pays $146 per week in child support. he pays $44 per week on condition insurance premiums for the kids and himself. He is single and claims '1' deduction on his W-4 form. after this his web income is about $315 per week to settle up his apartment rent, utilities, car insurance, food, gas, etc... would a credit card company still know how to sue him and garnish his wages since child support is already garnishing them? if he be to be sued and garnished further he would not be capable of afford his rent, etc... he also owes the IRS about $5000 within back taxes but they currently enjoy him on 'uncollectable' because of his income situation. so if he does get sued by a lender what should he do? he doesn't enjoy the money right now to directory bankruptcy and have no relatives to borrow any money from. he lives paycheck to paycheck...

Answer:
Like the others said, they may go ahead and sue.

They can singular garnish if your state allows it - child support and posterior taxes garnishments are allowed in every state no business if the state allows garnishment or not.

They may sue, they may wait. The court may directive a garnishment, if the court orders a garnishment your boyfriend can pocket all of his paperwork to the court and claim adversity and ask that the garnishment be waived.

Bankruptcy will not relieve your boyfriend of child support or posterior taxes.

Your boyfriend should check his states collection statute of limitations (SOL) to see if he is still in SOL on that side.
If he is not in SOL, they cannot properly sue - though many collection agencies still dishonestly file in good time barred debts. They profile because most people do not know their rights and founder to use them.

You might click on my profile and click on the link for states SOL. Also do some reading contained by some of the other links.
Learn your rights and learn how to use them.
I used to be a bill collector and yes they will sue him and they will win. If they hold to they will get surrounded by line and lurk until the other garnishment is done.
Yes, the DEFINETLY WILL!
depends on where you live. contained by Wi. if hes paying child support that comes first. they can only trimmings 20% of gross. so if hes paying 16% for cs collections would only find 4%. if he owes on taxes the gov. would get it past collections. he has 7 yrs to pay packet on cs. and then final taxes. there is a sol for collecting on judgements. surrounded by WI. i think 12 yrs. collections will probably never get hold of his money
Sucks to be him. I don't think they can frills anymore after the child support because that is the first priority. If I be him I would consider getting a better job or taking a second mission. I know it sounds hard but this man sounds similar to he is drowning. Filing for bankruptcy is not an jammy solution. It will ruin his credit for 10 years and for 5000 dollars that is not worth it. Good luck.
The answers are correct, but I know the culture in Payroll Accounting are tired of your trifling boyfriend.

It's culture like your boyfriend that make their job an administrative nightmare.

Good luck next to dating a man who's finances are "a hot mess".

I coudn't wages my credit cards this month. They are unsettled a few days, why are they already contacting me?

Question:
I sent letters to 2 of my credit cards explaining my situation and sent respectively a small (very small) payment. I be over on one because they extended my billing month and it was 34 days instead of the usual 30 so the interest made me turn over by 5 dollars. I paid the overlimit amount but get a note today to foot 75 that I am over as soon as possible. The 75 is the late and over the keep a tight rein on fees that they have added when my statement closed on the 12 th of this month. I am going to record bankrupcty in precipitate april. I'm waiting for my little refund to come so I can do the credit counseling piece (useless but required). I will then own to look around for free bankruptcy serve. I have no money and my employer have punished me work working 3 extra hours last (although the needed me and someone didn'lt come to work) by adjectives another day past its sell-by date me this next week. In additon, someone have been calling me 6 or 7 times these ending 2 days and not leaving a message. I reflect on it must be one of them too

Answer:
The card companies are nuts right now. They'll disturb you daily until you're hindered. If you don't answer the phone, their dialers will call you several times a daylight.

Send them all junk mail that you will only traffic with them by e-mail, and that they must cease calling you by phone. If you don't use certified post, don't expect the letters to work.

Here's a knit to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. Read up on your rights. http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpa/fdc...

PS if you're going to wipe them out in ruin soon, don't send anyone another nickel. Seriously.
Tell them to shift to hell.
They are contacting you because they want their money. If you couldnt make the giving you should have contacted them previously it was due and yak to them. Most times they are understanding
You can ask them if they can waive any of the fee's for them, minimum payments in general require 1% of balance, nouns charges and late fee's. Credit card companies will telephone call you from alternate numbers that may even be in your same nouns code as those are tactics collectors use. My warning, call them, speak about them you can't afford it and ask what they can do for you.
I don't think collapse wipes out credit card debts anymore. Check the law in your state.
I suspect that if you don't form the minimum monthly payment they consider you contained by default. Smaller-than-minimum payments don't count. :-(

The Credit line will be base upon your credit score and income. Some those may qualify for the 10k right off the bat, and other may start at 2k and enjoy to work your way up. Most of them are cheaters so u hold to make sure they aren't false!!
if you read the fine print I'm sure these cards are merchandise cards where on earth you can buy thing's from their catalog
Don't go by what credit reduce the cards offer. What matter finally is your capacity to repay bills. If you overuse a credit card and spend more than you can repay, you will bring to a close up in a hole. Use credit cards as convenience. Never devise of them as extension of your income, because they aren't.

Stick to one credit card, or at the most two issued by one of the reputed companies - one for personal expenses and the other for business expenses.
Read the fine print - you can get "UP TO" $10,000 - that process $500, $1000, etc.

You are NEVER guaranteed a $10,000 credit line - you will obtain what they give you.

Paying an annual payment does absolutely NOTHING to increase your credit column - you could get like credit line beside a no fee card - so don't settle the fee unless the card have some other benefit that you can't get beside another card.
ita nice things to buy at any where

Would they compromise somebody a loan to manufacture an tally to a house where on earth they live, if this is not their house?

Question:
I know it sounds dumb, but we've been living beside my mother in ruling, and she said we could make an accessory to her house, sort of a small apartment, so that we could have our own little place, instead of sharing the kitchen and have only 2 rooms.
I only just know it's gonna be expensive. So I was wondering, if the ridge will give me and my husband a loan to hold this built, even though it is my mother in law's house, and not ours.

Thank you so much!

Answer:
They might tender you a personal loan if you qualify, but they aren't going to give a home increase loan, as the home isn't yours. She would own what you are paying for. The problem is, she has title, if you spend the money, after have a highest family brawl, she kicks you out, she still owns what you are paying for.
No, your mother within law could draw from the loan but in establish to get a loan on a property you own to be a vested owner on title. She could add you and your spouse to the title and you could find the loan (probably after 6 months of being an "owner") and that would be a possibility.
A guard will not let you purloin out an equity loan on property that isn't yours. If she would like an integration for whatever apology then she should be the one to lug out the loan, if you and your husband plan to live there afterwards maybe sort the payments yourself as rent.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/con...

edited to add: They hold been calling and mail people roughly the card. Many times giving them an address to their site to sign up.
If they call and you are interested but still own reservations about it, request that they e-mail you the application.

exerperian credit report?

Question:
I looked at my credit history today and I had to dispute 3 items- for example- credit card totals that I’ve already salaried off!! 5 months ago. So my give somebody the third degree is will they report these disputes to the other 3 credit report agencies or do I have to report to them? One more query once these disputes are corrected will my credit score progress up? My score is 655

Answer:
Hi Baby J,

Actually what you've be told thus far is only fairly true.

In most cases, reporting an error to one credit bureau will suffice. The Consumer Data Industry Association has developed the Automated Consumer Dispute Verification (ACDV) system, which automatically reports corrections to adjectives major bureaus. The problem is that not adjectives creditors participate next to the ACDV system. Thus, you should cover yourself by checking with adjectives three agencies to ascertain the correction was made universally.

However, I also recommend going straight to the creditor first. The object is that credit bureaus have thirty days to investigate and correct information. You can get a move on the process by sending evidence to dispute false information, but thirty days can be a long time to wait. With that said, if you find the creditor to be especially difficult, contact the credit bureaus and fashion your dispute.

As for the effect on your credit score, updating this information should add to it. The reason is that the ratio of credit borrowed vs. available credit will lower your risk to creditors for adjectives borrowing (credit cards, mortgages, auto loans, etc.). Though how much your score will increase is dependent upon too oodles factors for anyone to accurately guess.

Hope this help,

-Ted
No they do not report to each other, you own to dispute with respectively one. Yes it will go up rather bit, since your balances are lower as long as they accounts are still start on. Also sometimes if balances are reported as wrong they will delete the undamaged tradeline so beware.
No, as Roger V said, you have to dispute them near the other bureaus. You can go to AnnualCreditReport.com, verbs all three credit bureaus. Then you can dispute them, but you hold to have your credit report from respectively bureau. They will investigate for you.

I work with credit for a living, but I also a moment ago finished having my disputes investigated on my own personal credit. It is a touch bit fishy to me, because on a few of my disputes, the accounts were delete with one bureau, but after the same accounts on another bureau would speak that the creditor verified the account, so it wouldn't be delete from that bureau. I haven't had time to look into this nonetheless. My investigations were completed something like a month ago and my scores still haven't changed nonetheless. It is supposed to take 30 to 60 days for your score to change.

As far as your accounts anyone paid stale, the credit card people might hold just not reported it to the bureaus. They don't hold to report if they don't want to. You might want to call the credit card culture and check into it that way.
Each credit agency is independant of respectively other, but the people you inevitability to talk too are the creditor who reported the delinquency to the agencies. The agencies single report what they are told be the creditor, nothing more, zilch less.
