It IS a scam. Do NOT distribute them ANYTHING! Any "funds" you receive from them will not be good, the check will bounce or it will be withdrawn and the money YOU dispatch THEM will be lost forever.
They'll send you a check for let's say aloud ... $10,000 but then voice they only expected to send $5,000, please dispatch the $5k back .. you do and THEIR check bounces, you're out $5k. That's merely one of their scams. The other is that you rate tax first for the money to be released.
You will never, ever, ever receive ANY money from them. I'd bet the sandbank on it :)
