Yes
Theoretically, yes. A secured credit card is simply a card guaranteed, or secured, by a cash deposit.
As long as the credit card issuer reports your tale info to all the trunk agencies it will show up. Assuming you pay your bill in good time every month and don't keep your card maxxed out, your FICO mark will improve. yes I get one and I only by fuel for my truck.
when you reward your bill pay everything but 5 dollars so it will show you are making payments.
i go from no credit to b credit in 6 mounths Not necessarily. If your one and only concern is your credit score (FICO), after yes it can if you properly use it (i.e. pay it bad each month and stay all right within your credit limit).
However, lenders are not only concerned with your FICO chalk up when you apply for a loan. They will get your entire credit history. If the simply credit account you hold is a secured credit card, it doesn't look good to lenders because it way the credit card company doesn't trust you enough to enjoy an unsecured credit card.
If you're still young, nearby are other ways to build credit.
Try to get an unsecured card if you can, even if you enjoy to pay a small annual allowance.
Get a student loan so that you have specifically on your credit record -- but be prudent beside how much you borrow.
Also, try financing a new/used car through one of the central auto dealers contained by your area can give support to. Smaller dealers will not report your apt payment history because it costs too much; they will solitary do so if you don't pay prompt.
Hope that helps!

that really is the simply way to build credit. You own to make sure you don't enjoy too many depart lines of credit which are credit cards, loans, etc. It takes time.
Keep doing that. There is little you can run. Try going to one of those creedit solution places. There are two terms to be concerned beside here. Balance in full funds all monies owed on a fastidious credit account. Minimum monthly due is the amount the creditor requires you to foot on the balance.
It is WORSE for your credit to clear the balance surrounded by full. If you are looking to build credit, pay the minimum monthly due PLUS an extra 10%. This shows creditors that you can take home the monthly payments, but they can make money sour of the loans, as well. When you discharge the balance contained by full, the creditors make no money.

Question:how can i trust that if i pay by paypal to someone i dont know, i will capture that stuff.Answers:
PayPal itself is secure. Your concern as to whether or not you will receive the items is more a query of the trustworthiness of the seller.
I enjoy been using it for five years next to no problems with PayPal. I own had really few problems with seller, but the same problems would own existed whether I had sent a check, money writ or cash. The problems are not near PayPal.
One thing to hold on to in mind is to panorama all emails concerning your PayPal account cooperatively. Many false emails are sent out claiming to be from PayPal asking for your account information. They may also provide a interconnect so that you can sign in to "verify" your explanation - except that the link take you to *their* web site that looks outstandingly much like PayPal's and they will own your password.
This process is known as "phishing", and it is simply someone trying to nick your money. Please refer to the following:

and PayPal's site:

Bottom line is this - NEVER use a connection to go to PayPal - other go at hand by using your own bookmark or by typing in the URL yourself. Only exception that I enjoy to this rule is this: I will use eBay's links to PayPal, since eBay owns PayPal.
I don't mean to panic you off. PayPal is fantastic, but next to any emails you receive think to yourself - if I received a phone name with somebody asking for this information, would I answer it?
Hope this help. Happy shopping!

My auto insurance company sent me to a collection agency, is this going to be on my credit text?
Question:I cancelled my auto ins. and they charged me a cancelation fee. I disagreed next to this but all they kept maxim was "I should of read my policy".... To receive a long story short I owed them $33.86 and it was due on 1/20. I call them on 1/29 and paid them over the phone. I a moment ago received a letter from a collection agency proverb I owe them the balance. I call the insurance company and they said that they would forward my message to their accounting department and contact the collection agency to tell them this have been remunerated. I am applying for a small business loan and can't afford to have something close to this show up on my report. Is there any grace term on behalf of the collection agency before they report to the 3 credit bureus?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks within advance!!Answers:
1. $33.86 will turn on your credit record eventually, but it won't save you from borrowing money. It won't hurt you.
2. If you try to borrow money, the worst that might happen if they want to be an *** is to explain the $33.86. I hold bought a house and a car near worse than that.
3. Check your insurance policy or contract. See if it says something going on for it. If it does, they are right--pay them. If it doesn't, threaten to report them to an insurance regulatory agency. Or, send a copy of the contract to the collection agency. If you can prove you don't owe it, they will not try to collect it or turn you within.
Other Answers:
It'll go oin your Insurance & collection agency story.
The first thing you requirement to do is call the credit collection agency beside the information of your payment, such as costs method, amount, and any confirmation number they gave you. You entail to do it soon before it go on your credit, because it absolutely can if you don't receive it resolved ASAP. Good luck. According to my understanding of your post, you didn't contact the collection agency directly all the same. I urge you to contact them, and tell them adjectives about this. They'll report to you what to do... perhaps they contact the insurance company faster, or they might ask you to provide some informal evidence of wage till they receive the communication from the insurance company (this could be an email from you telling them that), or possibly they could add surrounded by your registry a line proverb that the payment contained by on the way...so that not report this on the other hand to any credit bureaus... Ask them specifically whether you have be reported to the credit bureaus and if about the worth of this report.
Because you paid it soon plenty to your Ins. company and its such a small balance it will not show up on your report

You could get garnish in some states-- they clutch a piece of your paycheck. But you're not working anyway, so anything!
Bad credit history can prevent you from getting loans and even some jobs.
At the worst, they can sue you. THis is a finishing resort for the banks. If you contact them, sometimes you can achieve a "grace" payment (skip the month's payment). They are much easier to operation with if you sermon to them honestly about your situation.
If you really hold no honest and real providence of paying it back, it may be time to make conversation to a lawyer.
Good luck! And remember, don't ruin your robustness or family over some debt, and if any unpromising managment was involved, cram from it.
You should have never "run up" $16,000 worth of credit card debt in the first place. However, since you did, not paying it will result within:
After a certain extent of time the debt will be sold to a collection agency. The collection agency will hound you for payment and submit "adverse" information to your credit report.
Some institutions will lift you to court over it, and you could be court ordered to pay it stale.
If you file collapse, then that will stay on your credit for 7-10 years.
You want to contact your credit card customer service and tell them your situation, and find a chore as soon as possible.
Also, look into debt consolidation, and they can compound all of your bills into one monthly reimbursement.
You should NEVER not pay anything. The agencies give you credit with the assumption that you would settle up it back. That is like as you loaning money to your neighbor, and they never pay it vertebrae.
If you don't pay it, you'll never know how to finance anything again, and you can forget ever have another credit card.

How do you bring creditors to stop reporting you...?
Question:if you have thrilled the debt (delinquet or not) does anybody know how to get companies to stop reporting $0 accounts? They're bringing down my evaluation and I don't owe anybody $0Answers:
If you have delighted the debt and it's showing a $0 balance, that is to say not an inaccuracy.
It also does not bring down your score unless your recompense history for that account show slow pays beyond 30, 60 and 90 days. Additionally, it also brings down your gain even if you paid down the story if the payment be received in response to a collection or a chargeoff.
Also, the reporting of a credit commentary does not, by itself, bring down your credit score. Other factor come into play such as
1) How old your credit history is.
2) What types of credit you have/had: revolving (credit cards, etc), installment (car loans typically), definite estate (mortgages).
3) Your repayment history and whether your accounts are paid as agreed or whether at hand have be slow pays
4) Whether there hold been garnishments, collections, liens, bankruptcy
5) How many inquiries hold been made within the past few months (i.e. enjoy you been applying for loans adjectives over town or trying to get credit cards)
Unfortunately, I judge you're out of luck on this one.
Unless you have grounds to enjoy those accounts removed (e.g. that wasn't your account, the reimbursement history is inaccurate), they will continue to be reported for roughly speaking 5-7 years.
The reason for this is that, earlier approving your credit application, creditors want to know how well you repay credit lines and loans within the past, not newly the accounts with clear balances. They also want to know if you're carrying too much debt.
Other Answers:
Write to the credit card company and adjectives the credit bureaus and report the inaccuracies.
Maybe step talk to the loans dept. at the dune. They have to look at your credit report to approve you for a loan, so I imagine they could give you the correct # to christen.
Will paying bad a credit card and closing the story hurt my credit?
Question:I have this crappy credit card that charges me $6 a month simply to keep it. I freshly have it to build my credit. I be offered a free one through bank of america. I be told if i pay it rotten (all $175.00) and close it that it will actually hurt my credit.Answers:
If you income it off, it will support your FICO credit score. If you close it, it could possibly hurt your FICO rack up because of two criteria:
(1) Fraction of total outstanding balances to total credit chain. The lower this fraction, the better. So if you have any outstanding stability, having a better total credit limit (adding up the credit factor of any credit cards) would be better.
(2) Length of established credit record. FICO rack up improves the more years you own had apposite credit. So if your $6/month credit card is the oldest credit card you have, if you close it, all along your credit will then be base on your next oldest credit card. If you hold another credit card older than the $6/month card, later closing it won't affect this aspect of the FICO score.
My suggestion would be to telephone the $6/month credit card company, tell them you hold an offer for a guard of america card for no fee, and ask them to remove the annual charge from your card. If you have a verbs credit record next to them, they will probably do it.

I'm not a big fan of bank but I have used them within the past. I really close to credit unions and I be aware of that the service is much better.

It won't hurt your credit to close the report but it won't help build your credit if you close the tale. Most major creditors prefer to see two or three start lines of credit in perfect standing over a two year period. It creates a confidence that you are responsible roughly speaking credit extended to you, which will ultimately impact your interest rates. The flip side is if you have no credit or too little credit, potential creditors are in a minute concerned as to what kind of consumer you are on the subject of managing your debt. That concern can mean lofty, high interest rates as this offset some of the risk the creditors feel they are taking on someone short a strong credit history. While you have this card, you may want to apply for a department store card or gas card that you can use at your amusement, is easily remunerated off monthly should you use it, and does not include a monthly allowance just for carrying it contained by your wallet. Once you've opened two lines of credit which do not require a monthly tax, pay rotten the $175 and lose the crappy card (suggest you call to revoke the card and get the final pay-off amount PRIOR to paying it sour or they may charge you another $6 depending on the billing cycle).

How outmoded must an debt be in the past I can take home them thieve it past its sell-by date my credit report?
Question:and when is the start date? The day I made the debt or the hours of daylight it went to collections?Answers:
It's sort of a catch-22. Most things remain on your credit report for 7 years (such as a postponed payment). If it goes to collections (let's voice after 3 years) then the 7-years starts over again near that item on your credit report. However, let's say you realize it after another 2 years, want to stop it from mortal a negative on your credit report, so you repay it - the collections agency will blemish it on your credit report as paid, and it resets for another 7 years! So, while it help you to repay it, it hurts you at the same time (if you don't repay it, it will other negatively affect your credit score, even if it doesn't appear on in that, and the credit agency can always exercise a lien on any money you formulate down the road).
