Having lived away at uni for 2 years I didn't realise I owed lb20 on a store card, which thorugh interest etc has risen to around lb30. The end statement I received said, "Write off agents not sued" and the stability is now lb0.00.
Is this completely gone? How will this affect my rating within the future?
Answers: Like it said, it is written stale...you owe them nothing immediately. Now, a write does look bad on your credit report and will stay on near for at least 7 years. You can hail as them and still pay and they will tweaking your report by putting down you have salaried in full...this will sustain you credit score.
