"Satisfaction of Judgment" even though I still owe money?

We have be working with a collector on a judgement that be placed on us. They garnished our wall acct. for a good portion, but we still have some to pay. We hold made two payments since, and my records still show I owe around $400 more. Yet today, we hold received a "Satisfaction of Judgement" document, and I have verified the clerk of the court have received it as well. I tried to name the collector to find out the status of our account beside them - but get no answer. I am not sure how they can distribute a Satisfaction doc to the courts, if we still have a portion of the debt outstanding? Or have this been removed some how? Please no bash on the fact I own a judgement/debt. The circumstances are complicated, but we ARE doing all we can to pilfer care of the debt.

Any warning or wisdom on what this funds, and what I need to do to cause sure I am truly paid up - is greatly appreciated!

Can not find collection agencies number call for backing.?

Answers:   If you received the "Notice of Satisfaction of Judgment" directly from the court, next you are no longer obligated to pay. The court have considered the judgment fulfilled.

The collection agency have accepted what you hold paid and closed the explanation. They may have newly plain closed up shop or left town, any way you are contained by the clear. Make copies of the court documents and hang on to them surrounded by case they are needed surrounded by the future.

Hope this answers your ask

Does anyone know if Emerson Financial Group is legit. They offered me a loan. emersonfinacial.network?

I would assume that the court has declared you are compensated in full. Keep that note and guard it with your life span because if that company for any reason decide to send you a bill then or if they sell the information to a collections agency ( they do that a lot) then you will requirement it. Did you have an attorney during your court time? Call him or call upon one from your local phone book and ask them what they think. They will more than credible tell you not to payment. Best of luck. Maybe you got the math wrong, or perchance they just arranged to give up on the closing little bit. As long as the court is happy, you're done.
