If they escalate the dispute and paypal finds them to be 'right' afterwards PAYPAL will take your money and bestow it to the other person, Paypal also might freeze your funds so that you cant try to bring them out until the matter is resolved.
Your best bet is to jump to the resolution center on paypal and try to work something out with them.The character who opened the dispute have like 22 days to any escalte or close the dispute.

if they didn't owe you they could take it hindmost without authority by filing beside paypal, and if you disputed it you would lose, if they didn't owe you, and if you did that i would wish for the best ever getting run over by a steam roller ever for your adjectives, and that would be to good for you. If they bought something from you, and they record a dispute, probably. Paypal tends to side next to the buyer and refund $$ for stupid reason, even when you don't get your item put money on.

If the money came out of their PayPal be a foil for...probably not...however, they could file a dispute resolution beside PayPal. If they money came from their credit card for the funds, they could do a charge-back on their credit card.You would know how to dispute it. NOPE!!
