I already have a WAMU card but they hold on to sending me invites to apply for another. Aside from no interest until Jan 09 why would I want/need another? Why would it benefit me to accept?

As for the bank, that's more money for them contained by terms of interest and annual fees. Don't apply for that extra card, you are asking for double trouble. Balance transfers and stuff close to that. It depends on how you pay your bill. If you payment your bill in full every month, consequently the reason you want another card is for better rewards. If you don't money it off and you hold on to balances, later you keep it for better rates and transfering balance.
