For motor insurance purposes, is it possible to own dual residence surrounded by separate states?

we live in NY and my fiancee have her license in ny... can she keep hold of her license in ny even though she's on my NY coup¨¦ policy? she also has a family circle residence in ny.

Answers:    It depends on what state your insurance policy is underwritten contained by and the address on the policy. If you live in NJ, legitimately she should have a NY license. The insurance company can call off the policy if she doesn't.why? Because they can't run a DMV on her and she's not a licensed driver in the state of NJ. FYI...her residency is base upon where she lives, not where on earth her family owns property.

You'll want to research this some more.

Have a nice morning.
In the US, you can't have dual residency. You can singular have one state of residence - the state you own your driver's license, and your voting registration.

But you do realize, NY and NY are the same state?
Probably best to own a rest.looks like you can attain some ideas here.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ch...
