Travel Insurance rejection?

My father came to US and he get stroke (His 3rd stroke), he was admit to the hospital . He had travel insurance, insurance company rejected adjectives the claims as it was pre existing condition and the amount of rejection is $100,000.

Do any body own any suggestions or came across any such scenario.

Answers: No, when he took the policy out, he should have be told, signed something, or the policy he received stated pre-existing conditions are excluded. His best option is to contact the hospital and negotiate a lower price for the stop by and a payment diary he can afford.
Negotiate the hospital bills.

But for future wellbeing, get a program that does not exclude your father because of pre-existing conditions.

Here is one program that help my friend, Ron Ochs of Oregon, to save a bunch of money, He have hospital bills worth $20,000.

The Hospital Advocacy Program negotiated the bill down to only just $800!

Here is the program:

If I cash in a whole life insurance policy, is that considered taxable income?

Answers: Call the insurance company and ask them what, if any, "taxable gain" you have on your policy. If they tell you "none" and it is not owned in a qualified plan, then you do not have taxes due on surrender.
Only if you get more back, than you've paid in, in premiums. That would be your capital gain.

I've never seen it happen that you get anywhere CLOSE to what you paid in. So likely, it's not going to be taxable. It's kinda like, buying stock at $100, selling for $10.
