Oddly enough I am a Romanian citizen who resides surrounded by the US and wish to acquire Romanian health insurance. Because I am not permitted to obtain an ego card with a Romanian domicile adress(I own property there) I am classified as a nonresident citizen. Apparently, if I want to, I can insure myself by paying monthly just about 130 lei but I would only attain the basic "emergency" carton that is free anyways even if you don't recompense insurance. Anyone know anything else on this subject?I was just now in Romania and force from the national health insurance houses don't know jack most of the times.

Romanian health insurance isn't really insurance. It's socialized drug. No good outside Romania.
