Look at Aetna. They own the best plans I have see as of now for individuals covering themselves. Just remember, if you are paying for your own plan, every year the rates dance up (typically), so it helps to shop around.
It also help to find someone who sells insurance plans. They do not charge anything, and they hold multiple companies they work with. They can answer question so you don't have to keep hold of callling the company directly. I can't remember what they call these general public, but do an internet search.
