Insurance Questions and Answers

Important query more or less strength insurance while person pregnant and vigour insurance surrounded by standard...?

Alright I currently am covered under my parent's robustness insurance but I will lose this on August 1st of this year due to my age and not being a full time student... My problem is I of late found out I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and I won't own the baby until slow September. I'm on my own and my job doesn't own medical benefits...

Would I still be covered up until I have my tot due to it being a prior-condition or will they still help yourself to away my insurance? If they take it away will Soonercare or Medicaid insure me at 8 months pregnant?

Or is at hand a way I can folder for insurance now near Soonercare or Medicaid eventhough I technically already have insurance?

Please facilitate I'm a single mother on my own and I have no concept what I should do!

Answers: If you lose coverage as of August 1st, then you will not own coverage for any services that happen after that date.

I'd suggest trying to apply for Medicaid - couldn't hurt to see if you qualify.

Also, if you don't qualify for Medicaid, you may want to find out whether you'll be offered COBRA after you are dropped from your parents insurance. COBRA would be the lone option for medical coverage at that point, because no private insurance would purloin you. (Unless you get a different job near benefits, of course.)

P.S. You may also want to find out whether your parent's insurance policy covers dependent parenthood - some policies will only cover motherliness for the employee or spouse, but exclude motherliness for dependents.
No, they don't continue to cover you merely because there's a huge bill coming up. When it's gone, it's gone. Medicaid will take you at 8 months, IF you're eligible - that vehicle, if your income is low enough.

Sure you can directory for medicaid now. That doesn't be determined they'll take you.
You will not qualify for individual form insurance. If you go ahead and disclose your pregnancy to a potential insurer, you will automatically be rejected for coverage. If you DON'T disclose you are pregnant, your insurer will drop you the minute you report a claim covering an ob/gyn expense.

As well, you will not potential be able to acquire a different job near health benefits if you are honest and influence you are pregnant. You will also risk termination from any new profession if you DON'T disclose you are pregnant.

At this point, you will need to be thinking more or less reducing your cost to deliver your baby. Because obtain an insurance policy when you're 8 months pregnant will not be possible.

Look into medical schools surrounded by your area to see if you can qualify become a merciful with the medical conservatory. This may provide you with reduced-cost medical aid for the time of delivery.

You may also look into repricing plans. For a catalogue of providers of repricing plans, see this page: http://www.health-insurance-low-cost.net...

Finally - this is not ALL your responsibility (although realize no birth control is 100% effective would enjoy been wise). This child have a FATHER. He needs to be involved contained by the expense of bringing up what he brought into the world. You may need to consult a suitable family attorney to brand sure your child is taken care of. You may not similar to that prospect, but he is responsible, too.

Because, trust me, my dear, your financial burden is ONLY beginning. You are in a minute tied to a human being that is to say dependent on you and the FATHER of the child for everything it needs for the subsequent 18 years. You need to be thinking not with the sole purpose about it's birth, but the rest of it's natural life...

After divorce can I still be covered underneath BC/BS Personal Choice? I am on SSI if that plays a role. I'm within PA

If so how long will the coverage last? SSI will not cover my specialist.

Answers: You'll hold to call BCBS and ask them. Generally, if you're on it through your husband, when you seize divorced, you'll have to reapply. BUt you don't pass enough information - approaching who the policyholder is, and why you're on it now, and that kinda stuff.
