I believe she may be eligible for medicaid coverage so you may want to find out about that, but I do chew over your school nurse could do it. It may rob a bit of time for welfare/medicaid to get processed.

Group coverage is other better than individual coverage, so if you can stay on your employer's plan, you are much better off.
