How much of medical insurance premium is deductable?
Answers: usually none. What can be deductible is medical bills and medical insurance premiums OVER and above the percentage allowed for your specific income bracket. You would have to itemize and prove everything. Talk to your tax preparer.
If you mean the Schedule A deduction, see the answer from 55yrsnho...
Also, there is an adjustment on Form 1040 for self-employed persons, but only for your business's health plan. The maximum you can deduct is your self-employment earnings (not the same as profits, see Schedule SE for the calculation) minus your deductions for self-employment tax and self-employed retirement plans.
A business can deduct the entire amount that it pays for its employees' health insurance.
Deductible is separate from the premium. Remember the higher the deductible the lower the premium. The lower the deductible the higher the premium. You should your insurance based on what you normally use insurance for. If you tend to visit more frequently use a lower deductible, if you use it for just annual physicals a higher deductible may make sense. Herniated disc?
hurt my back at work,as you can see herniated disc.haven,t worked for little over a year.my legal representative is ready to settle out of court.anyone own a rough estimate on dollar amount i might be looking atAnswers: Well it depends on how the claim was. If it be in court I'm assuming that your claim be denied or your adjuster denied your surgery and you took it to court.
Was there a pre-existing injury? Was the claim properly accepted for a herniated disc or a lumbar strain?
So if your claim is within litigation than I would think you would be getting going on for $15,000-$25,000 for the whole entry. However I'm unsure about the complete story of the claim. Do expect about 10% mortal taken for attorney fee's. Also is medical bills part of the settlement? Did the insurance company reward most of it up to a certain point? Are you voc elgible? If adjectives these apply than your settlement could be more than what I indicated.
You will be paying your lawyer a impressively very sizeable chunk of your settlement - since he is taking your money - ask him.
Cheap motor insurance.?
Just insured my olde 2.3 go faster Volvo - for lb145 near RAC, group 16 though mind but, fully comp, lb100 excess.I'd been on RAC web-site, and others, but Elephant be my best quote at lb200 ish.
Then tried confused.com, came up lots cheap deal, the lb145 rac was the best. Phoned the RAC, they be well over lb200, but be doing a discounted deal via confused.
So I took out the policy, but I'm still confused, how they do it so cheap ??
Answers: You must be a low risk driver. Confused.com is not cheap for everyone. I get a cheaper quote by going though someone else and I tend to always check confused.com but moneysupermarket.co.uk have it's own comparison website and I found cheaper there.
Have a look at NFU Mutual.
15 yrs beside them.no problems, even a courtesy car.
