If she have a "specified indemnity" policy, anything that is not specifically name in the policy is not covered.
That said, expect a claim of this sort to help yourself to 2-4 weeks.
Usually they pay surrounded by about a week. What policy does she hold in force? Is the hospitalization indemnity plan, fluke etc.? Also when was the claim made and have all the documentation be made, is her illness covered lower than the policy?
