Insurance Questions and Answers

Should we enjoy still be paying this insurance?

We paid an insurance policy that covers our morgage payments for a year for stroke of luck sick & unemployment. Over two years ago following a go down & tragic family trauma I become sick & although still employed have be off work on long occupancy sick to date with no forseeable prospect of return. At indistinguishable time my husband became on benefit & also incapacitated & he is now my full-time carer.

We both claimed the mortgage payments for the first year & explained our long possession situation at the end of the 12 months & believed we have cancelled the policy as clearly we would not be able to claim again. We very soon realise this has continued to be compensated because apparently we did not cancel next to the building society that pay the insurance company direct, we single told the insurance company. We were not advise to do this at the time but even so why have the insurance company continued to adopt these payments knowing the policy should be canelled.

Do we have any recourse to claim put a bet on the payments?

Answers: I hate to be the bearer of unpromising news, but your best bet is probably trying to plead ignorance within court. You will probably have to nickname the building society as the defendant.

Either way, I wouldn't hope too much to see the money spinal column, the fact is that the insurance be in effect and if you would hold needed to claim against it then you would own succeeded.

This is something akin to eating at a restaurant and going away before you achieve the check.

Of course you can claim back the payments. If the policy is cancelled return with in touch near whoever set up the policy for you (broker or building society etc) and tell them to return the over payment. Get your direct debit stopped asap though.

EDIT:
Okay resourcefully if your building society are acting as the broker and you informed your insurance company directly to cancel, they would not enjoy done so. It is quite correct that you would've have to have contacted your broker (the building society) and that`s why you should do so immediately and win your policy cancelled with effect from today - asap.
Its other the way. if you forget to compensate them they will be onto you straight away but if you pay them too much or something they will conveniently not spy.

I'd think you should be capable of get money wager on because they have be taking money they haven't earned. Go and confer to your building society, they might be able to give support to
Well, a couple of things you might want to consider.I've had flawless luck here...http://insurance.online-assistant.info/c...

Need to find homeowners insurance network site. Just bought a home and necessitate to find insurance up to that time closing?

II used my VA. I want to get a quote online short talking to anyone at first. I want to shop / read up to that time I talk to someone.

Answers: OK, in good health, good luck on that. I don't know of any, as homeowners isn't comparatively as straight forward as auto - there are a LOT more question to ask, and most likely, you don't know how to subtract the cost to rebuild your home.

I hope you know which endorsement to ask for so that you're properly covered. Do It Yourself insurance can leave you next to more questions than answers.

I do hope you extension up BUYING through a local agent, so you can get covered suitably.
You can go on column... but you won't get an accurate quote lacking talking to someone... believe me.. I tried. I get the best rate when I went through where on earth I had my motor insurance.. and because I was keeping my coup¨¦ and home insurance with duplicate company.. I was given an second discount. One thing I bookish.. and this will vary from individual to individual.. that if I bumped by deductible from $500 to $1000.. I collect almost $100.00 a year. The way that I sound the switch.. I probably wouldn't make a claim for something smaller quantity that $1000.00.. as making a claim would bump my insurance rate anyways...

Good Luck to you.
In my opinion, any company that will quote you homeowners insurance lacking inspecting the property will be a non-standard company and will provide you non-standard service. I know you want to have some big-hearted of bargaining tool going into a face-to-face, but I expect you'll be better off contained by the end to turn through a reputable company, and that almost always includes an agent that will inspect your property back making a quote.

How much is home insurance for a log cottage contained by North Georgia?

I'm interested in purchashing a log cottage in the North Georgia mountains. How much would home insurance cost if the home is approximately $160,000?

Answers: Found this info
"Homeowner's insurance is no more expensive for a log home than for any other type of wood or wood framed home (that includes brick homes)."

I guess to be sure, you could nickname a company?
Oh, thousands and thousands, IF you can find someone willing to do it at adjectives.

Most companies won't insure log cabins. Many don't want extremely rural properties (lack of fire protection). Part time residences, okay, companies don't like to write them stand alone.

Ask the current owner how much he pays, and who it's next to - then phone up them, and ask them if you were to buy it, would they write you a policy, and how much would it cost.
