Does blue cross blue shield cover for Mirena? If so, how much?

Answers: Well, some will cover birth control, some won't. It's going to depend on which plan you have, and which state you are in.

Even in the same state, BCBS offers at least 5 different plans. So you and the person next door to you might both have BCBS, with different coverages.

To find out if YOUR plan covers, you'll have to call the number on the back of your card.
Check your benefits book in both the medical and pharmacy benefits, or call BC/BS and inquire the specifics of your plan because I know there is BC/BS EPO, PPO, HMO, etc so the benefits might defer from one plan to the other.

Well I have Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO. Mine was covered at the maximum allowable contractual rate. Out of the $550 the office billed for it, they paid $438 plus the office and supplies fees were paid. In all they paid about $1,000 for everything. All I had to pay for was the $25 office copay which I just found out was not required since the encounter was considered a surgical procedure.

No pre-authorization was required and with my plan, the Mirena itself fell under the pharmacy benefits, specifically under family planning.

Can someone beneath another Medicare Health PLAN revision to another?

An elderly person within my family is moving out of Florida and apparently the state she's moving to doesn't own same medical plan. She will probably be going into UNITED HEALTH CARE again because this is the one she had up to almost three years ago.

My grill is, Can she change right immediately?

I was other confused about anything it was said that coming January whomever did not revise plans had to stick w/ the one they have.

Or am I mistakingly thinking about MEDICAID recipient instead?

Answers: Yes, she can change around the time she moves. She will enjoy a special enrollment period. You should ring 1-8OO-medicare for more information or go to their website. You won't be charged a cost.
If your family accomplice moves outside of the service area of her existing Medicare plan, she is eligible to enroll surrounded by the original Medicare plan or any other Medicare plan available where on earth she will be living.

Personally, I believe the original Medicare plan is the best substitute for Seniors. There are almost no physicians who don't accept imaginative Medicare and there is no inevitability to worry if the personage moves as your family appendage is doing now.

Can I state I am a non smoker to insurance company?

I am applying for mortgage insurance, I only quit smoking 2 months ago & own no plans of smoking cigarettes ever again. Can I state that I am a non smoker, and if I do- and they test me can they make clear to that I only lately quit and therefor charge me a higher premium?
Thanks

Answers: Most insurance companies will ask if you've smoked inside the past year. If they do you'll enjoy to pay smoker rates until you've gone 12 months in need a cigarette, then most companies will re-write the policy to return with you the non-smoker rates.
Sure you can, but they WILL test you, they WILL find nicotine on your system, and they'll charge you the sophisticated premium, and note your record that you lie.

The QUESTION is, enjoy you smoked in days gone by five years. Not, are you smoking at this second.

In other words, it's going to annoy people, obtain them to mistrust you, and won't save you anything. So it's kinda pointless, ya know?
