Insurance Questions and Answers

When will we get the money from the Progressive settlement?

Answers: Right after they issue the check and mail it to you.

Have you actually settled? Signed the papers? Was a law suit filed? If so, has your attorney signed the stipulation and had it clocked filed? There is not enough information in your question to answer properly.

Best thing to do is call your adjuster (if you do not have an attorney) and ask them. If you have an attorney - call them.
Have you settled the case? If so, is it an agreement, or have you actually signed the papers?

If you have not actually reached an agreement with them yet, it takes time to settle. It can take longer with a more complicated case or with a larger case.

Trying to hurry the case will send the signal that you would settle for less if you could get it faster.
Who knows. I was part of a class action suit from maybe 10 years ago, and I haven't seen a dime.

Answers: You own to be 18. But there's a second requirement to opening a sports car insurance office - you enjoy to get a company prepared to let you write their insurance.

At 18, beside no insurance experience, that's going to be damn hard.

So you'll probably closing stages up working for another agent, doing insurance sales for a few years, study the ropes. Straight commission - you use their contracts, they keep partly your commission.

In order to craft $24,000 a year, you'll likely enjoy to write four new policies every single weekday. Think almost that.

Someone broke into my vehicle and stole my DSLR. Can I claim from my home insurance instead of coup¨¦ insurance?

Someone broke into my car and stole my DSLR while parked overnight contained by our gated driveway. The camera equipment cost about $2000. I'm wondering if I can directory a claim with my home insurance instead of my automobile insurance.

Answers: Actually, you'll HAVE to claim it on your home insurance. Most auto policies bestow no coverage for items stolen from the vehicle unless it was for good attached.

Be advised, cameras are sometimes subject to coverage limitations on homeowners policies. Hopefully you're:
a. Covered
b. Not subject to a $$ restriction
c. Not using the camera for business use (another restriction)

Good luck on your claim.
Well, the auto isn't going to cover it. The question is, will your homeowners cover it. The answer is conceivably.

If you use it for business, the standard homeonwers policy will cover it up to $250. If you don't, you'll have to explain what it be doing in your coup¨¦ - and be prepared to back up the explanation.

Your homeowners policy might not include raid, or it might have a reduction of theft coverage outside the house. And if you not here your car unlocked, they might not cover. ANd if they do, you could hold a limitation on the restriction of unscheduled electronic equipment.

You're going to have to beckon your homeowners agent and ask them.
Check your auto policy first. Some policies, not all cover items stolen from the vehicle. I hold collected on a claim like this. If it is not covered contact your homeowners and directory a theft claim.
