Answers: Yes. Two employer ago, I worked at an agency where The Standard be the preferred disability carrier.

Yes, they want - and are entitled to, according to the policy contract native tongue - reimbursement of what they've paid you, from SSDI. If SSDI pays you more per month than they do, you procure to keep the difference. If you carry paid more from The Standard than SSDI, they bring back the whole bit.

It's non-negotiable - it's written into your contract - the policy.

*PS, this isn't of late The Standard. All disability carriers do this, to the best of my erudition.*

Is it REALLY cheaper to switch to geico??

seriously people!

Answers: It isn't.
How bout you compared rates beside other companies?

Progressive, Allstate, Statefarm, AIG, Nationwide, E-surance.

Geico is not always cheaper, ably in some cases, because other companies claim they are cheaper than Geico too. You in recent times have to find out yourself.
In my experience, no. I've found cheaper going through progressive and common.

Also, I had my vehicle stolen a few years back when I have Geiko and they acted like I be the one who performed a crime. My saloon was recovered and sit in a tow patio for three weeks before I get a call nearly it and I couldn't afford the fees at the time so I had to hand over it up. It was a $12,000 motor, Geiko's reinbersment: $600 which didn't even cover the impound charges. Even if they do turn out to be cheaper than whatever you are paying, they will take home it hard for you if you own a problem so it's not worth it. I've never had any sort of problem near any other insurance agency.
For some people - yes. For other nation - no.

There's no "one size fits all" cheapest insurance company.

And there are no shortcuts, you enjoy to shop around.
It depends on the drivers age, driving record, type of vehicle & location.

Go to their website adn do a quote (free) and see if it beats what your currently paying.

For me no. USAA is just about 300 cheaper then Geico.

Can your LTD policy/ or ALLSUP attach your 'support pay' from SSD b4 u even catch it?

I was approved for SSD finally surrounded by august of 2007, my lawyer be paid soon after and i still havent gotten my wager on pay check.
I hold a Long term disability policy that requires i repay them but plan on negotiate so i get to hold on to a chunk of my money but i should be left next to some regardless. Anyways they sent me a letter stating THEY hire a company call ALLSUP to help beside clients and SSD policies. I have to plague out the release and send it put a bet on within 30days. Its so that SSD will furnish them and my ltd company info on my case (which ws approved)..but im wondering if once this release is signed if when i do capture my ssd back pay envelope if they can somehow attach to it so they get what they believe theyre entitled to first instead of me getting the money in my acct and later i can go from nearby doing my negotiations next to or without a lawyyer and later i can wire them the money i dispense them.
if anyone knows please permit me know.
thanks

Answers: Yes. Every LTD policy I've ever see, reserves the right to be reimbursed for what they pay out, by any other income source.
