Expected Settlement?
My car be hit and totalled back surrounded by November. I had a to buy another coup¨¦ (8K) and have lost my position within a research lab because I literally cannot do the work. My back be injured and I have be going to physical therapy. I'm also slightly paranoid when I drive - I hold on to thinking that other cars are too close or are going to slam into me. I don't plan on settling any time soon because I know I'm not 100% better. I missed a few classes because of the accident, so I missed unbelievably important discourse materials and managed to gain a D in a prereq class. This potentially kill my chances at getting into Pharmacy arts school - I have adjectives A's other than that but you become ineligible if any science or math status is lower than a 2.0 - what settlement value can I expect? Should I obtain a lawyer? Thank you. BTW this is my first chance, and I was NOT at criticize.Answers: No one can tell you what an expected settlement will be. Yes, you will necessitate to get an attorney.
Did your insurance cover anything? Did you own insurance? Because if you didn't have insurance and you are surrounded by California, you only get hold of economic damages (lost wages, medical bills, etc.) and NOTHING for misery and suffering.
If you try to claim that you can't get into pharmacy conservatory because of a "D" in a class - specifically, if you try to claim it in a lawsuit - in that would probably be a defense of "mitigation of damages." You could have dropped the class. In the meantime, own you spoken with the dean of the arts school? Perhaps this is a circumstance where you could hold the grade changed/expunged so that it shows a subtraction, rather than the "D" and next re-take the class.
I'm not sure which pharmacy school you are planning to turn to, but it is highly doubtful that one "D" would craft you ineligible, especially if you explain the circumstances surrounding the "D."
BTW, you should be able to retake the class that you get the "D" in - surrounded by almost all colleges/universities, if you catch a grade lower than a "C," the class can be retaken.
Mitigation of damages - okay, you can't work within the research lab, but what other job can you do? Will your doctor say aloud that you are temporarily totally disabled? If so, perhaps you can apply for disability through the state (what state are you in).
But, absolutely get an attorney. If you don't know one, I suggest contacting the county inn association (wherever you are located) to get a referral to one. You may know how to get a free initial consultation next to a local attorney who may assist.
P.S. It is doubtful that the attorney is going to tell you what an expected settlement efficacy of your case is (you may obtain a range) but no absolute numeral...
If you made all A's and 1 D - the insurance company is not going to settle for the D. That just sounds approaching a hard course that you be not doing well within anyway.
They may pay something for lost wages - but again - if you lost your charge b/c of the accident that usually finances you were on shrill ice next to the employer anyway. Don't expect a huge payout there. But they may tender you something.
They are not going to pay for the pharmacy job which you claim you could have have but now can't b/c of the catastrophe.
They will consider something for your medical bills, lost wages and pain and suffering. The rest of is it cr(a)p they you are a moment ago blaming the accident on but you if truth be told have culpability for and they will not reward for that.
There is not enough information for someone to offer you a figure. Each shield is evaluated on it's own merits and I don't know enough more or less your case.
If you want to achieve a lawyer - you can. But, it does not increase the importance of your claim. It just routine that the lawyer get 1/2--1/3+ expenses of your settlement. The insurance adjuster does not give consideration for your choice to hire a advocate. His fee - is your problem - your responsibility to payment. Not the insurance companies. So we don't increase your offer so you can pocket one and the same amount of money.
What can you do next to a series 7 63 license?
I know that you can be an advisor but what kind of job are out there for a series 7 63 licensed individual?Answers: Selling securities. That's the post - straight sales.
Any job related to advising and their firms - you can be a paraplanner, assistant to an advisor, client services representative, sale rep, any position where you're dealing next to securities.
If you want to find a firm to work with, try www.plannerconnect.com - it's a financial planning equivalent service.
Technically you can't be an "advisor" without the series 65/66 assessment also. With the series 7 you can do many job in the financial corral including being a securities broker. ALso remember that you will have need of your state insurance license to sell unreliable annuities.
To get the Series test you will need to be employed by a broker hawker first. You are not allowed to carry licensed without a sponsoring seller.
Don't qualify for Ks healthwave, what subsequent?
My husband's wrk ins is way to costly for a relations of 4.My employer doesn't offer ins. accordingly I applied for healthwave and apparently make too much. funny I've never be told that.so my question is...what else is out here that is affordable? I show less than $100 every month. or is near not anything?gratefulnessAnswers: Oh I wish I know of one. Ironically you and I are in pretty much duplicate boat. I am in Kansas too, My situation doesnt offer insurance and my husband and I own our own business. I too applied and be turned down, even though we quailify for reduced lunches for the kids at school!
I own searched and search for something and have however to find an option explicitly less than $600-$800 per month for a family connections of 4.
I did go ahead and pick up some supplemental insurance for us. We hold accidental coverage. So if near is an accident they compensate us a small amount, like $200 for a broken arm etc. But not the actual doc bills. I also hold disability for my hubby incase something happens to him while he is working, anyone he is our main source of income. These two policies solely run us $50 per month and I guess its better than nothing but not by much.
I will keep under surveillance your post to see if anyone has any info on something I may enjoy missed or not known in the region of.
Until then, I will verbs to wake up every morning next to my fingers crossed and say for a time "Everyone stay healthy" prayer!
Health insurance for a family of four for smaller amount than $100. per month? Sorry but that is impossible.
Check beside the agent that writes your other insurance. To avoid potential bankruptcy you have need of a policy that at least covers a strength catastrophe. Unfortunately, even that mode of policy will be considerably higher than $100. a month.
