Personal Condo Insurance contained by Florida-what do I involve?
Hi. We have purchased a condo surrounded by florida, north miami & now trying to digit out what type of coverage we will need for our condo. I presume there is personal property & liability-is that the minimum required? Where should we start?Answers: You probably know that your condo association purchases insurance on the building and premises. Broadly speaking near are two approaches that condo bylaws take to insure the property.
One approach is the condo association agrees to cover individual the exterior and common areas. You are responsible to insure the interior this can include walls, wall coverings, flooring, furnace, appliances, lighting, plumbing fixtures, kitchen and tub cabinets (basically everything inside your condo). In this scenario you are responsible not merely for your personal property but also the entire interior of your condo. As an insurance agent I did not like this approach because it is terribly difficult to determine how much insurance you should have to be capable of repair or replace everything in inside the walls of your condo.
The other approach, which I always preferred, be more comprehensive where the association agrees to cover the entire component as it was originally built. In this scenario you individual insure your upgrades (i.e. bookcases, upgrades, finished basements. etc.) and your personal property.
You need to sensibly review your condo bylaws or have a appropriate insurance agent go over the bylaws next to you. If you don't insure the property that you are responsible for you could find yourself woefully under insured and probably unable to start again your condo.
In addition to insuring the segment of the building you are responsible for you need to determine the replacement cost of your personal property inside the condo.
Sorry for the long answer but it is a surprisingly complex question.
You start next to a local agent, who can hopefully get you a condo owners policy, and explain adjectives the coverages. THEN, they can talk to you something like things like your coin collection, or jewelry, that might want special coverages.
Has anyone hear of critical bad health insurance?
Has anyone ever used or benefited from ctitical illness insurance through Great-West Life insurance? I am thinking of getting it, I am a condition male 38 year elderly in Canada?Answers: I hold seen several ethnic group benefit from this insurance (as I work at an insurance company that sells this product). It's not basically covering you against ONE critical illness though. Often times it covers lots critical illnesses. Let's say you enjoy a critical illness policy that covers heart attacks, cancer and stroke...
If you own a heart attack, the lump sum benefit is paid out for the heart attack. Then the heart attack portion of the policy is blankness. You can't claim on the policy again if you have another heart attack. However, your policy is still surrounded by force so if 10 years later, you get hold of cancer, another benefit is paid out.
It's really not a crucial coverage (then again, there's A LOT of insurance that isn't necessary)... but I have see a lot of family benefit from it. Health insurance definitely won't other cover all of the expenses incurred from any of these illnesses.
Yes. It's stupid.
It's kinda resembling buying a car insurance policy, surrounded by case you carry hit by a blue car. It won't cover violate by red cars, white cars, black cars, or green cars.
If you want coverage for an ILLNESS, buy health insurance. If you want a payout when you DIE, buy time insurance. If you buy coverage for ONE illness individual, well, the probability that you'll die of something else are HUGE. So it's silly to insure yourself against only one virus. Like it's silly to insure yourself against just blue motor damage.
