Insurance Questions and Answers

If I own two 100k nest egg accounts next to one dune, are both fdic insured or one and only 1?

WOuld I only be insured for the two 100k accounts if they are deposited contained by two different banks single?

Answers: If you have the accounts within one name one and only, you are insured to a maximum of $100,000 per bank, not depiction. If you have more than one heading on the accounts, it gets more complicated. Don't run my word for it, see these U.S. Government links:

The basic insurance amount is $100,000 per depositor, per insured guard. This includes principal and accrued interest up to a total of $100,000.

You are correct - you would be insured for both accounts if they are at different bank
The insurance is by account type. If two accounts contained by one bank are indistinguishable account type, you own just the 100k total. But, if you own one single and one joint description, each article will have 100k coverage. In extra, if you have a guardian information for a child, it will also have its own 100k protection. Trusts, and some other types also come to mind. I am not sure if a 401k hoard is considered as a different type than a standard savings tale.

When in doubt, bid the bank overseer and ask. They will know the FDIC regulations pretty well. If you really want to hold on to money in excess of the FDIC coverage, you may be capable of purchase deposit insurance in excess of FDIC restrictions. This will be done through your financial institution's insurance carrier, not through your own. Again, you would obligation to contact bank head to get the globe rolling on that. Some banks do not grant this excess coverage because of the extra effort involved as the policy is usually reviewed every six months.

Good Luck!

My auto insurance compensation is due by midnight tonight. I can't foot until tomorrow.?

My auto insurance is due by tonight at midnight. They do not have a payonline leeway (Harleysville Insurance) and my agent's office closes at 4 pm, beforehand I get bad of work. So, should I mail the payoff in today to the prime office so it is postmarked for today or should I simply wait until my agent open back up on monday?
Does this connote I won't be covered over the weekend?

Answers: Just because its due doesn't necessarily mean its going to repeal?
Check with your agent if theres a grace extent. Most companies give you time.
I would run by my agents office today even if he is closed and slide a check below the door. They will have it when they spread out up on Monday. Likely as not even if it is canceled they will reinstate it with that return. That way the transfer of funds is there.
I don't know how your insurance works, but typically you pay packet in finance for insurance. When you first got the insurance, did you bring in a payment rapidly? If so, you should be running 30 days ahead so you would certainly be covered over the weekend.

That said, it is immensely important to formulate your insurance payments on time. They can quash your policy if you're late, and not have continuous insurance can cause you to hold surcharges added to your policy.

I would contact your insurance company's toll-free customer service number, if available, and find out directly what penalties might be imposed.
I guess I knowledgeable something new on this grill. :o) Our insurance company has a clearing plan where we wage each month. Even if our expense as late (let's right to be heard it's the last wage of the 6 months) they will not drop our insurance. We might get assessed a postponed charge, but not dropped insurance.

Does your insurance company have a drop box for payments? If so, stop by nearby after work and drop it off. Or, perchance you an run it by on your lunch break?

I would suggest you call and make conversation to your agent. That would be the smartest thing to do. Despite everyone's wonderful suggestion, the best advice is going to come directly from your agent. I'm sure he/she will be penetration and tell you exactly what requests to happen and what will come to pass.

Good luck! :o)
I don't know if they accept a postmark date.

And I don't know if your gift is just "due", or if your policy is contained by cancellation status. If it's in recent times due, pop it in the correspondence. If it's in reversal status and cancelled last hours of darkness at midnight, don't drive, and call your agent asap.
Call your agent as soon as possible. He or she is the solely one who can fully answer your questions. If you own been paying for a while extra each time you've salaried, it is possible that you have rewarded a month ahead, that's the first question to ask your agent.

I own have my Jacket stolen from a pub?

It was on New Years Eve and because the pub be very busy adjectives the coat hooks were full. So the block person offered to put it within the reception area. On departure the pub my jacket was missing, it seem as though someone has stolen it!

The pub are claiming that they are not responsible and that items are vanished at the owners risk. Is this the case or could I claim compensation from the pub or their insurers?

The jacket cost lb230!

Answers: It's at your risk I'm afraid.
too desperate, that will teach you not to sign out your items lying about for other nation to claim as their own!
plus, can i hav my answer chosen as the best and receive a thumbs-up?
I don't think the pub's insurance will cover this. There is usually a sign up motto "items left at owner's risk". Your home insurance may cover you for the loss. I would ring them and explain the situation but look at your policy first to see if within are any clues.
you may have a claim if the dowel person offered to `save it for you` re check using this reality.
sorry James, but think you are responsible,
sorry buddy... subsequent time u go to that pub, jst as u give up your job say u gone ur jacket there n mayb some other sucker put theres nearby and u can get one put money on.
I can sell you another one i found surrounded by a pub LOL LOL LOL Wont do that again will you.
Thats why, I don't wear my jackets to the hotel.
visit the pub. pick up a nice coat.
It is so impossible, i feel you, any entity stolen makes you idea very bleak, not expensive things only but any item ,specially if you think it is surrounded by a safe place or at smallest in a adjectives place, and special things when you love it or prefer it you feel completely bad when you lose
i lost my lab top within Spain last September, it be stolen in the train station ,i take another one, may be faster
but i still not happy ,emotion bad for that, i cannot overcome this fruitless sensation of losing loved thing
