WASHINGTON MUTUAL IS A THEIF ! has anyone been charged a $39 late fee plus a $35 over the limit fee?
Answers: I ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!
NO I DONT THINK I'VE BEEN CHARGED A LATE FEE, BUT LET ME GO DOUBLE CHECK. THEY MANIPULATE YOUR TRANSACTIONS TO MAKE YOUR ACCOUNT OVERDRAWN TOO...
I'M NO IDIOT... ITS TIME TO SWITCH BANKS FOR REAL.
You can EASILY avoid these types of penalties by insuring that your payments are made timely and by not going over your credit limit. What parts of the agreement do you NOT understand ?
Flood cleanup?
I live in Central Illionis where on earth we have have really bad flooding. The Red Cross is a short time ago about useless, and ESDA is already overflowing next to being busy,
Does anyone own suggestions on what to cleanup, how, and how to get the insurance company to show some compassion?
Answers: The first article to do is contact your agent and report the claim. Do you have flood insurance? If not- you're contained by trouble. The standard homeowners policy does not provide coverage for flood (regardless if it's driven by wind or not).
If you do own flood coverage- you don't have to head off the water for the adjuster to see.
Now what?
Take photos of the break. Before you make any change - get perfect photos of the damage. If the marine is still in the home - transport photos. There is no such thing as too heaps pictures.
Then remove the water. If you want to - appropriate photos of the process you are using. (you don't have to- but again- no such item as too many photos).
Depending on how much wet you have - you may call for to remove the carpet and wipe. If the carpet/pad are saturated - jump ahead and remove it - you can leave the drizzling carpet/pad in the garage or drive bearing for the adjuster to see.
Take your personal items out of the water. Wipe them down.
Put fan in the room to hold the air circulating. You can also progress to Home Depots or Lowe's and purchase a de-humidifier. They cost about $100 respectively. Pick up more than one if you need them. Save your receipts. The insurance company may know how to give you consideration for this expense.
Start running these 24 hrs surrounded by the affected areas for several days.
If your personal items are showery - it's OK to put them in the room beside the fans and de-hue. These can comfort to pull the moisture out of your belongings.
If the sheet rock is wringing - you may need to remove the raining sheet rock. If the bottom foot of the sheet rock is wet - remove the bottom foot. Leave the dry nouns. If there is drizzling insulation in the walls remove the damp.
The trick is to get the drying process started.
When you hold a lot of claims come surrounded by at once from a weather situation - that is set as a catastrophe (aka "Cat").
Do you know how insurance companies work "Cat" claims?
One claim at a time.
It's not that the insurance company is not un-sympathetic or wanting compassion - they are flooded with work. All of their policy holders surrounded by your area are surrounded by the same boat. All of the policy holders discern that their damage is more prominent than everyone else's damage. The insurance company can single work the claims one at a time. So, most insurance companies try to hit the most severe areas first then meet head-on the lesser worn out areas.
With flood claims - the adjuster has to be "Flood Certified" so one and only certain adjusters can work flood claims. But that does not show you just sit doing nought. It's OK to go ahead and start the drying processes. It's much easier to prevent mold consequently get rid of it and masses policies don't pay for mold remediation.
Here is some credible information from the EPA on the subject of mold and the prevention of mold.

Compassion? You mean, how to procure them to pay you for something you didn't buy, assuming you don't own flood insurance?
You ever go to a coup¨¦ dealer, and ask THEM for compassion? They're BUSINESSES. If they make available away stuff you don't buy, they GO BROKE. Ask your employer to give you $50,000 to fix your flood problem. Or your church, or your parents. You're much more possible to get compassion within, as you're looking for something FOR FREE.
NO HOMEOWNERS policy covers flood. Period. NONE OF THEM. Flood is ONLY available through the National Flood Insurance Program.
What to clean up: Get the wet out. Pump it, drain it, use a shop vac, whatever. Get fan. Air the place out.
I would call your agent that you bought the coverage from. If you hold done that I would call a service master or other company to seize in vein so that you can get contained by line for verbs up. Document and take pictures of what is going on. It will hold time but hang within there it will achieve done. I understand as my mother is essential the area but at one remove effected this time. Hang within there.
Anyone have problems near the company fully covered?
this company insures your sky equipment after the standard cover is over they state they have a 24hour response time and hold engineers all over the uk i own been calling them everyday for the second 12 days and they still cannot tell me the truthroughly when an engineer will phone up they always right to be heard definateyl tomorrow tomorrow never comes they also promise to keep me updated i enjoy never recieved a call from them since reporting the scorn on the 2nd of january what are my rights
Answers: I personally focus you have be scammed and someone as made loads of money
I wouldn't ever buy insurance of any kind for something as cheap as a skybox. Even if it is a skyplus it's still cheaper to repay a repairer to do it locally than pay a monthly excise to a centralised firm that is one and only going to get it done locally anyway. look how much your sky box is selling for on ebay fully working and compare it witht the amount of payments your making to this firm. Trust me these product repair insurance policies are a rip-off and thats why the salespeople confrontation tooth and nail to take you to buy them!
In answer to your question, I would complain to the company, demo all correspondence and self firm but not unreasonable. Also get contained by touch with trading standards (search for them online). E-mail your local branch. recount them everything. if you do it right you'll get some comfort.
regards,
MH
Did you receive a epistle apparently from Sky and talking in the region of the need for a service agreement?
If you read it with care you will find it is nothing to do beside them and is basically a scam.
You don't hold "rights" when it comes down to response times. It's not a "guarantee". If it IS a "guarantee", and they break it, what they owe you depends on what they promised you - which means it might not be more than an apology.
