Geico-Progressive type of insurance companies...?

Right now, we dont enjoy either..We own a major carter, but not one that carries alot contained by the hurricane areas..So, our rates are pretty darn good..(home, auto, life)What I would approaching to know is has anyone file a claim with one of these core auto carriers and be happy near it? I am really leery to switch to something like them...Even if they be cheaper...Thanks

Answers: Anne,

We've been near GEICO for 23 years (except for when we were stationed contained by Japan).
We had to database two auto claims, one when our conversion van caught fire, and one when my wife was within an accident.
Both times GEICO be outstanding. The claim for the fire was settled surrounded by four days and they sent our check overnight Fed-Ex. With the accident GEICO extended the rental coup¨¦ contract so we had the needed second saloon. They kept us informed of progress as well.
I couldn't be more pleased near GEICO's service and prices.

I am an independent insurance agent and one of the many companies I represent is Progressive (also agreed as Drive Insurance). My advice, if you do switch to a Geico or a Progressive policy use an agent so you hold someone you can call if you own problems. That said, in my experience most claims my clients enjoy had beside Progressive have be handled within a decent attitude, there is the occasional claim problem, but not anymore than other companies.
I don't operation with Geico, so I couldn't administer an honest assessment.
Wait, does that mean you want a glorious risk carrier, or a direct writer??

In my belief, Progressive is better with first group claims than Geico.

How much education/experience does it take to become a insurance adjuster?

Answers: If you're going to be an inside adjuster, you have to have a bachelor's degree. No experience, they'll train you.

If you want to be an outside adjuster (freelancer), you just need a license, then you need to sell yourself and your services. It's much harder that way.
I was a claims supervisor at a major insurance company in MA. We required our new hires to have graduated from a four year accredited college. Some were fresh out of college with no work experience when I hired them. Training was provided.

Do you hold vigour insurance?

If so, through your employer or did you have to purchase?

Me? Unfortunately I have to cancel mine when the payoff amount far surpassed the amount of my MORTGAGE payment. I'm hoping to own it through my employer very soon...and crossing my fingers until next.

Answers: NO!! can't afford 500.00 a mo. Retired on SS . Considered in poverity plane .
i buy my own, yes.

i have a lawfully minimum policy ... all I want is for the company to quibble with strength providers in finance and cover me if I have a deluge.
Yes through employer. I have to take-home pay a $3000 dollar deductable before It even kick in. So I am unsophisticatedly paying for an emergency illness if one would come up. I draw from sick I just concordat with it & not jump to a doctor because I can't afford it.
But at least I own something.
No insurance, we pay for medical comfort with a credit card, it is cheaper than insurance. For big medical bills we work out a business deal with the hospital to reimburse for it over time, it is cheaper than insurance.
Yes... for now. But who know if my job can hold on to affording to provide it.

Or for that matter, if I'll still even HAVE a errand. Business needs to acquire better...

:(
Yes, through my husband's employer. We STILL purchase it, but the employer picks up about 2/3 of the cost.
