They are two separate plans. You can setup a Health Savings Account with many financial institutions including mutual fund providers and your local bank. That is to say that you do not have to use the institution provided by the insurer.
So I would be more concerned about the underlying insurance. It is best to compare and contrast a few plans. One might provide preventive care while another might not.

State that accept pre existing conditions...what does it adjectives tight-fisted?
If you are in a state where on earth pre existing conditions are seemingly ok, what exactly does it mean? How do I find out more going on for this? Could I get insurance and pre exist conditions would still be care about?Answers: State insurance commissioner office regulate the maximum time that a health haulier can exclude pre existing conditions and it will vary from state to state. Washington, for instance, at one time one and only allowed a 90 day exclusion, but that be recently changed to one year. Now, basically because a state allows it, doesn't mean that the insurance company will write it into the policy. They enjoy the option of making it a shorter lurk but most don't. Check with your state's commissioner's department to see what they allow, then check beside the companies that write in your state to see what they own in their policies.
Now, this adjectives would depend on your being competent to qualify for the coverage. If your pre existing condition is too bad, they can deny coverage.
Where you live is not relevant to an insurance accepting or past it your coverage due to pre-existing conditions. It depends on the policy and how it is written. But in charge to give you a better answer, I would want more info on your particular situation.
Why can't kaiser permanente respond by email/fax/smokesignals ?
I have a VERY busy agenda. I don't even have time to see a doctor never mind sit on the phone next to a KP rep to find out about insurance.I would similar to to sign up with them but they don't answer emails. They give us an email address and fax number and no response. And I am a prospect! This is very unnerving to me.
Answers: lol--smoke signals!! try calling an insurance agent that sell their policy---individual agents will bend over backwards to sell the policy too you and you'll gain better service.
