Insurance Questions and Answers

What is the best way to find an health insurance agent, in Michigan?

Answers: It's not so much the agent that you're looking for but a reputable company. If the company has a good product, call their customer service line and they'll transfer you to sales and marketing.

Once you get in touch with a sales agent, drill them on the obscure benefits of the policy to see if they know what they're talking about. A good agent will know the benefits as well as the front line Customer Service Representative. A good agent will treat you like you're the only customer that they have.

After you purchase the policy, contact the Customer Service Department with questions. The CSR that help you the most with the friendliest attitude will be one that you'll want to get to know so that you can direct your questions to them.
Start with the guy that does your car insurance. It's possible he might also do health, or he'll be able to refer you to a good agent.

You should look for an independent agent who deals with most of the major companies, since they aren't limited to what plans they can offer. The independent agent can find the best policy for your situation.

Who paid for the Unemployment Insurance? (State, or Federal)?

Answers: Your employer pays for Unemployment Insurance (UI), within each state! That's why, whenever you "leave" an employer, the state - who administers the PAYOUT of unemployment insurance - is asked WHY you "left" and if you are eligible for Unemployment insurance. If your employer says that you quit, or that you were "terminated for cause", then you probably will not be eligible for UI.

When notified about your eligibility for UI, if you are denied, you can still appeal, and a hearing will ensue. You state your case, and your Employer states theirs. A decision is made.

If you are eligible for UI, there are rules you must follow - usually about finding a job - to remain eligible.

Hope that this helps.
Employers. The employers pay it to each state. Each state runs the program for their state, funded by ALL the employers of the state, that pay into it.

No form insurance, but considering it depends how coverage works for using a midwife?

Can a policy not have motherliness coverage and still cover using a midwife for womans health and labor and labour?

Answers: I guess I'm confused...you want to know if a policy that does *not* offer motherliness coverage will cover using a midwife for labor/delivery of a child?

Of course it wouldn't...if there is *no* parenthood coverage on the policy, it means that it would not cover any sort of charges for a regular labor and delivery, regardless of the type of practitioner you use. Maternity charges are parenthood charges.

(Policies without motherliness coverage may offer controlled coverage for complications in a pregnancy, but at hand would be absolutely no coverage for common labor/delivery charges.)
If there's no maternity coverage, it won't cover prenatal, labor and transference, with ANYONE. That's what motherliness coverage is.
