Insurance "Deck Page"??

I don't have insurance currently, but I go to get insurance today and told them I have insurance. I HAD insurance but was canceled roughly speaking one or two months ago because I no longer live with my step-mom. I still hold the insurance card from he old company i be with, problem is is that it individual has my step moms first name on it, not mine. So what the new insurance company requests from the older company is something call a "Deck Page" which is, I'm assuming, going to confirm I was on the policy. What I'm asking is that will this Deck Page or the elder company leak out information prevailing to me not currently having insurance? Much appreciated, thank you.

Answers: So, you LIED on the application which be grounds for denying insurance claims due to substance misrepresentation.

Go back, transmit them that you were WRONG and frontage the music. Even with a PROPER proof, if it have cancelled 2 months ago, it would be useless anyway.

Typically, insurance rates will vary from State to State and can even alter by ZIPCODE! It also will depend on the type of car/truck, coverages, limits of liability, and driving text. Some companies run credit scores and MOST run a motor vehicle report and CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report to see around undisclosed accident involvement.

The best entity to do is call a LOCAL independent agent. Don't run across town, or to some other city - look for someone CLOSE. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be capable of help you solve your insurance problems, and supply you rate comparisons of several different companies.

An independent insurance agent will normally hold a dozen different companies and if he cannot help you, he should be network with other local agents that can.

In my agency, we hold companies that do NOT run a credit score and generosity drivers with "smaller amount than perfect" driving records, and enjoy companies that specialize in juvenile and/or newly licensed drivers.

Most of the replies on this site read out "go to this on-line delivery service or that on-line carrier or that 1-800 number" but I'm sure that when you do, you will find some impersonal computer user beside a script to work from and you won't be able to verbalize with equal person every time you hold a problem!

Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!
They're asking for a declaration page which has info similar to the policy period(effective dates), named insured, covered drivers, policy boundaries, deductibles, etc. If your name is on the policy somewhere they won't find out right away that you don't currently hold insurance. BUT....

If you lied to them about have insurance, you NEED to fess up. If they find out you lied on application, they'll flat cancel you. Most of the time, the company WILL find out that info during the underwrite process, so even if you get a policy issued to you, there's a apt chance they'll find out and nullify you within a month or two.

Do Americans Understand how Insurance works?

Everyone pays in rather to cover everyone, but not everyone takes out of the system adjectives the time, only on an as needed font
But you knew that !

Answers: As an insurance agent, I tend to agree next to you.

Most folks think that they can get hold of a brand new saloon when they wreck their 5 year old beater..that's NOT what it be designed for.

Insurance was designed for various to share the damages of a few. It is meant to put you spinal column in equal sahpe as you were, in a jiffy before the quirk - no worse, no better.

SOme folks will argue with that, but, that's how it SUPPOSED to work!

Good luck and I hope this help!
The answer to your question is a resounding NO.

but after most people in a roundabout way involved in business are pretty apathetic just about how any business works.
Insurance sales folks are in a precarious position - we are the lone people on the planet that will flog you a product you hope NEVER to use.

However, should the worst happen (fire, flood, serious coup¨¦ accident), you will be more than gracious for the fact that the money you spent on the policy is far smaller amount than the amoun the insurance company spent on your behalf to either the mischief to repair your home or to the injuries you caused to others contained by an accident.

The canon of large numbers states that your probability of ever needing the amount of coverage you purchase from the insurance company are slim, but ask the family in San Diego that saw their house burn to the ground end year if they feel that insurance is a worthy investment.

I believe surrounded by the products that I sell and I believe that the insurance companies, though they are set up to label a profit, are the only ones that step up to assist our reduction to get it spinal column up and running after a major disaster.
