Life insurance cross-examine...?

Does anyone know of a website where you can rummage and find out which life insurance companies hold a life insurance policy for someone? For instance, a family circle member have died and had 2 existence insurance policies, however the family cannot find any documents stating which company the policy be with. Is near a website or a company that can investigate and find out which insurance company/companies the family applicant had a policy next to?

No here isn't. Search through old files, including check registers to see if you can find clues. If you know who they used as a home and auto insurance agent, ask them if they wrote the life policy. If they be still paying on the policies, late notice will begin to appear soon.

Keep looking. It can be difficult, but you will find them.

Renters OR Homeowners?

I have a rental property contained by OH. My tenants said something flew stale the house and damaged their saloon. Is this a claim for their renters insurance or my homeowners insurance?

Answers: Their renter's coverage would not provide coverage for their vehicles. There is a vehicle exclusion on the renter's policy.

Your insurance would provide liability coverage, but your insurance company would solitary pay if you be found liable. Since wind cause the shingles to fall stale, it is unlikely you are legally liable.

However, if you know that the shingles were lately hanging, and any slight juddering or breeze would have cause them to go flying, and you erstwhile to remedy the potential hazard, after your homeowner's coverage would pay the claim.

If your tenant's enjoy Comprehensive coverage on their autos, they should contact the auto carriers.
It really depends on the circumstances. If in that was a elevated wind that cause damage to your house, our homeowners will repair your house but it is unlikely that they will repair the auto. If here was something loose on your house that be a result of the house not being suitably taken care of, next your insurance might deny the claim.

Best bet is to turn it into their auto insurer and let the auto insurer know who your HO insurance is beside. The two companies will work out who will take supervision of it.
Hopefully your rental property has a 'landlord' policy and not a homeowners policy unless you live within it.

Your insurance covers you, their insurance covers them. If something damaged their stuff, they want to contact their insurance. Their renters policy won't cover the car, they want to contact their auto insurance company. If their car insurance covers physical mess up, then falling objects would be covered. If it's liability solitary coverage, then they're out of luck.
Homeowners as it come off the building.

Homeowners covers anything they can't run with them and Renters covers everything they own.

They don't have need of to report it to their Auto insurance because your property damaged their vehicle. You are liable for their property (in this circumstance) regardless if they hold auto coverage or not. It would be the same if their bicycle or other personal property be sitting out there and be damaged.

Good Luck
