1. He/She might be smart but not ready.
2. Customers may not feel he/she's effective enough (notice I said feel). So, they'd a bit do business somewhere else.
3. Who's going to hire him/her? Child labor has its limitations.
4. Let the kid enjoy enthusiasm. This is time for teenagers to have fun and swing out with friends. He/She will own plenty of working time in the adjectives!

I'd strongly suggest self employment - dogwalking, babysitting, gardening, poop scooping, etc. No one is going to hire a 14 year old for wages.

1) A solid Rolodex of contacts whom you can turn to for raising capital, and referrals for good people to join the team, clients, industry relations, etc.
2) Leadership and people skills to manage the company, the team, and hire the right people.
3) Integrity.

No academic qualification are needed to be CEO
It all depends upon your talent.
If you want to be the CEO of somebody else's company, good luck with that. Your best bet will be to have been very successful in outside sales and moved into sales management with some company and to have a Master's Degree.
If you want to be the CEO of your own company, you don't need anything.
