Insurance Questions and Answers

Can I capture posterior on my parent's vigour insurance?

I am 20, but am currently living with a relative. I be on my parents policy until I waited a year to jump to college at which point I was removed. I am going to college immediately and was curious if I would be eligible again. I am a full time student. Any oblige would be appreciated!

Answers: It depends on your parent's plan. The only mode you can find out for sure is for someone to check with the HR representative.

Employers establish their own criteria as to who is eligible to be a dependent on the plan. Once those rules are set, next its a fairly cut and dried process. If you qualify according to the eligibility rules, later you can be on the plan. If you're ineligible according to the rules, then you can't be on the plan.

Not knowing what your parent's plan stipulates, the best I can recommend you is for your parent to check w/their HR directly. (I've seen thousands of benefit plans' eligibility criteria, and on some you'd be allowed put money on on, on some you wouldn't.)
It may be possible. Your parents need to check beside the insurance provider or with the benefits coordinator at human relations at work.

Can your employer denie you insurance because you are married?

IN THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA
I am getting married soon and found out my employer policy if you are married you can't get your free insurance through them anymore, you own to go through your spouses employer even if you enjoy to pay nearby. It doesn't matter if you are the husband or wife or who's oldest.
So when single I go and get free health and Eye.once married they won't cover me and I hold to go to my husbands employer and recompense over $300 a month to be added?
Is this legal? I know adjectives the married employees are cracked because they all hold to pay through their wife and husband employer. If this is or is NOT legal can some one please provide me a relationship to where I can print it out? Thanks within advance.

Answers: My guess is that since insurance is a benefit of employment and not a requirement, they can require you to do pretty much anything that will help them save their costs down. I located a link to the Insurance Department of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and while I couldn't locate an answer specific to your give somebody the third degree, there are phone numbers nominated and in certainty you can e-mail a specific question to them.
