How to get donations for a 66 year old woman with no insurance and her treatments cost $10,000 a month?
Answers: If you go to church, you could try to open up a donation for her there.
Any social groups she is a part of, Church, retirement community, friends having a bake off, neighborhood barbecue, talk to local non-profits
Get her on MediCare. It is easier to raise the money for Medicare premiums than $10k, even if she has to pay the full Medicare premiums. Medicare with a supplimental plan will go a long, long, long way.
You can also talk to a broker and find a Medicare replacement plan. Be certain the plan covers the treatments she's getting, and have no, or extremely high, Lifetime Maximum Benefits.
Donations are not really the best way to fund this kind of healthcare; it is simply too expensive and will never really cover all of the costs.
The government(s) have lots of healthcare programs for those with no or few assets or income. Also, charity care is available from almost all hospitals.
Contact the folks below to find out what is available in your state. They are non-profit, and they a legit organization with nothing to sell. Ernie is the manager, and the best person to speak to, rather than just their regular operators.
medicare should cover that if she's over 65.
How to check if State of California owes me money?
My mom died a year ago. I heard if the beneficiary doesn't collect the natural life insurance money it goes to the state. I never could find the company or the policy number. She told my aunt, not me nearly the policy. Who didn't tell me till after Mom died. So where on earth do I go to see if California have it and what do I do then? Thank you for helping out, we can't afford a laywer.Answers: When an insurer holds a policy that pays out on a set date (called a "parenthood date,") and the insured cannot be located despite several attempts, the insurer will pay the proceeds to the state Comptroller's bureau. This process is known as "escheating." In command to claim escheated funds, the insured or his/her estate representative must contact the Comptroller's office.
HOWEVER, this is not the baggage with your situation. It sounds to me resembling your mother had a regular energy insurance policy that pays out at death. Unless a claim is file, an insurer has no process of knowing that the proceeds should be paid -- hence, it has no basis to escheat the funds to the state. Since premiums haven't been remunerated, the policy is either contained by a lapsed status, or the policy is reaching into its own cash worth to pay them (this is specified as an "automatic premium loan"). Neither status would exempt the insurer from paying a claim if the death occur while the policy was surrounded by force.
In order to claim the proceeds, you must find out the label of the insurer. There is no national database of insurance policies issued to individuals -- so you'll have to do some old detective work. Look in your mother's sanctuary deposit box; her cancelled checks; etc. As a last resort, you can request a report from the Medical Information Bureau, which collects medical facts reported on life insurance applications or discovered during the underwrite process. Go to the web site below for more information.
I hope this help.
The insurance company will not pay until the beneficiary is located. But do you know in attendance really is a policy and that you are a beneficiary? Sounds like your information is heresay.
Someone will have need of to go through your mother's personal papers to locate this information - that should enjoy been done by the executor of her estate.

wtf
does he passes out a lot ? it's only 11h30, a bit early for the booze aint it ? ...
He'll not get any company to insure him if he passes out.
Why not try "confused" anyway.
Teens pass out for a variety of reasons and most are not life threatening. I suggest that you take him to a general practitioner who will run some tests. You do not need medical insurance to do this as it will be fairly inexpensive to start.
If he needs medical insurance now is the time to look into buying it but do not delay medical treatment for the lack of having insurance.
