Insurance ?

I lost my insurance through my employer because I was one shift shy of working the number of hours required to qualify. My daughter is on Medicaid, and I tried to grasp on that kind of insurance, but they turned me down saw that I have access to insurance through my employer, and it's not their failing I didn't work the required number of hours to qualify. I have to hold insurance because I've been battle walking pneumonia for the past two months, and my doctor is worried. Are within any other options for me? I checked into student insurance at my university, and I lately can't afford it. Any ideas?

My SIL passed last week. She have a policy that she got years ago past her marriage that name her sister as the ben. Now that she is married-who gets that policy? My concern is the husband is facing seriously of bills and with this policy within the sisters name I see potential for things to turn monstrous. It is bad satisfactory that she is dead-I don't want this to cause a rift beside my husband and his remaining sister. Also, if someone takes thier own vivacity can the spouse still get SSI benefits?

--And the natural life insurance policy she has have a two yr time limit on departure by suicide and the policy is now 6 years weak so we assume it will pay out and bestow some money toward debts and funeral costs.

My husband took his own life within Sept. He was within the military and I still recieved all the beneifts, plus social secruity. And I have a unborn child atthe time of his death but I be still able to find benefits for her as well. Now something like his bills, I get them alot, and I have to get a advocate for it all, and what he said, near was no estate within my name and his together, and at hand was no departed estate from his name, and thats they singular reason why the bill collectors telephone, and harass. He told me I be able to basically throw away the bills inless I seen a concern within them. Like a medical bill or something, but as for everything else, like the sports car, insurance, electricty and what not, i dont have to verbs about them, because he never put my dub onto any of his outstanding bills or debt!! Whoever is the name beneficiary on her life insurance policy, get the money. Marriage or divorce doesn't affect the payout, AT ALL. It's PURELY who's named.

If she didn't renovate the beneficiary clause over to her husband, the sister is still going to get the money.

I do NOT get the message why things would get dreadful. The husband is NOT entitled to the sister's money. Period. He's not entitled to procedes from the natural life insurance policy, unless the policy owner changed the beneficiary clause. It's up to HIM to keep things from getting bizarre.

The only course he'll get SSI from her, is if he's of retirement age, and she be collecting SSI retirement. If there are minor children, they'd be entitled to SSI survivor benefits until they are 18.

Yes, if it's olden the two years, the suicide clause is voided. The money will NOT go towards debts and funeral costs. It will progress to the person she name. That person can spend the money ANY WAY THEY WANT. They are NOT OBLIGATED IN ANY WAY to pay cheque funeral costs with that money. Period.

Answers: If your bf is covered by a group policy and you bring back married, your pregnancy will be covered as long as you enroll as a spouse within 31 days of the "qualify event" (i.e. marriage) AND pregnancy is covered under the group policy. Federal imperative prohibits ANY group plan from considering pregnancy to be a pre-existing condition.

HOWEVER, if your bf is covered under his own policy (i.e. not a group policy), afterwards your condition will probably be considered pre-existing. He would have to speak near his insurer for details.

There are other alternatives:

1) elect COBRA coverage after you leave work or moderate your hours;
2) enroll in your state's Children's Health Insurance Plan (which is NOT duplicate as Medical Assistance). For more information, do a web flush;
3) enroll in Medical Assistance if you don't bring back married before the little one is born.
You'd have to attain married, to get added to his insurance. If you enjoy your own coverage, and you just stir from your policy to his, as long as his has motherliness benefits, it should still cover the baby.
